LordGhostStriker - Sorry I didn't make it clear on the 2nd part since it is now a non-dream but their dad died in a lab explosion. It was said in the first part. Once again I apologize there. With Gir, I do try putting him in when I can it is just hard for me to write like that all the time. I do like putting him in one shot type stories. That's when it seems easier for me to do for some lame reason. I'm a dork.
Me2U2 = Oh crap? You need toilet paper for that?
Invader Johnny - I think you'll start feeling sorry for Zim after this chapter. (Yep, I just gave you a warning.)
Everclear = I'm surprised I didn't get a declaration of your affection for Dib again ;) But yes Gaz turned out to be not so cold in her own way.
Showing her around the Massive and getting reacquainted with Gir again before she was made to go off and get sized up for outfits to the point that Zim was just oblivious thinking she was her normal self as she quietly observed everything around her while barely asking any questions. Zim knew that she hardly asked anything unless she was simply curious. Mostly he knew she could grasp on to everything so quick that he couldn't wait for it to astound the others. When Gaz came out with one dress on, he smiled at her proudly believing she truly was the most wondrous thing in this universe close to him.
Their nuptials were the next day, so he was busy running around giving orders to the Empire, Armada and the planners. He only stood silent for a bit when he spotted Tak come up to Gaz and watch Tak mostly speak to Gaz before they parted. When asked what Tak said, Gaz merely said she wished her luck because she deserved it for marrying you. Zim sneered at the thought of the horrible female for saying that about him before wrapping her up in a kiss.
It was late when when he asked her if she was alright making her lean against him, she lifted her head to kiss the underside of his chin. "Fine. Just thinking."
"Of your brother?"
"Yes." Her response was silent. "Also you know me to be quiet."
"I do, but this is a different sort of quiet." Running his hand through her hair, she tilted her head back with her eyes closed looking very serene. Beautiful.
"Nervous about the honeymoon I guess." Was her response before she drifted off.
Zim didn't stay the night with her, they would be sharing their quarters very soon enough. Lifting her very gently, he laid her out on her bed, kissed her forehead, and let her sleep. He couldn't wait to have her as his fully tomorrow.
The next day, Zim was rubbing his hands together in anticipation as he paced. He was fully dressed in something a bit more refined then the normal Tallest outfit. He smiled as he paced wanting this over with to hold her as his wife. So many years and she'll be his. Hearing the door, Skoodge entered informing him that it was time. Zim nearly skipped out of there. Nearly. Composed, he left to walk to the hall to stand near the priest. He couldn't wait to see his bride and to him it felt like the music couldn't either as it was queued up prompting his squeedly spooch to jump around in hyper active mode.
Everyone stood before the bride entered. She was in something she never wore before which was white. To Zim, even with the veil covering her face, she looked naked because in all his life he never saw her wear white. Her head was down as she walked down the aisle. Zim supposed it had to do with the fact she didn't want to trip even as she made her way up the stairs. Stepping forth, he gently took her hand to guide her the rest of the way to remove her veil whispering in her ear.
"You look positively radiant."
Gaz lifted her head up at that and gave him a tiny smile before facing the priest as they went through the ceremony. The whole way through, Zim kept taking sidelong glances at her just amazed she was right there. Zim was growing impatient wanting it all done with. He wanted the announcement to be heard throughout the hall that is more official than before. Gaz held a tiny smirk on her face. He wondered if she thought the same thing as they finally faced one another again to join their hands together and Zim heard the announcement he waited for allowing him to kiss her.
"Ever thyne. Ever mine."
Laughing, she murmured, "Cute, Zim."
The celebration was short for Zim as he made the excuse that his bride had too much to drink. Gaz, who didn't have an ounce to drink except for regular liquids, just shrugged seeming anxious to leave the festivity as she took his hand as they both made their way towards their shared quarters where Zim instantly lifted her in his arms. "I know that Earthlings do this as a tradition."
"You seem to have read a lot about that before this ceremony, Zim." She remarked as he walked into the bedroom to place her down.
"My sweet demoness."
Feeling the kiss against her cheek, she smiled. "Demons aren't sweet, Zim. I thought you knew that."
Kissing her neck now, he whispered, "In this case, you are." Reaching behind, he began to unbutton her dress. "Do you want me?"
"Yes." She replied helping to unbutton his shirt and pants. She seemed as anxious as him as they suddenly started ripping their clothes apart instead of being delicate. Giving him a crooked smile, she wanted to challenge him. "Show me how all mighty Zim is."
Loving this challenge, a challenge he knew he could win, he placed her on the bed and made love to his, little Gaz for almost the whole night through continuing to repeat to her how he loved her to the point of exhaustion setting in. He loved how she curled with her back against him as he held her while she soundly rested. Smiling with contentment, he went to recharge for an hour or two knowing he would have to get back up again to resume his duties again before coming back to his beauty next to him.
Three hours passed instead of two when his internal alarm went off. Glancing over to her he saw she was still sound asleep as he softly crawled out of bed wishing he can crawl back in instantly. Reaching the closet, he pulled his clothes on just examining her as he went. Loving the rise and fall of her chest. So many years he wished to see her rest and he managed to finally see it face to face. Stepping over to her, he softly kissed her temple to tell her once again he loved her before parting from her.
Zim was blessed so many times before reaching the bridge, he was surprised he reached it at all as he was informed to the happenings while he celebrated and rested. Nodding his head at them, he issued orders, and listened to the many complaints that were happening from fellow Invaders in varying quadrants. In pause in between one of the Invaders, Tak was announced. Granting permission for her to talk to him, she looked slightly uncomfortable as she spoke to him in a hushed voice. Zim listened intently to her and while he didn't care for her, he understood why she needed to speak to him. Waving his hand in front of her to stop her from stammering anymore, he simply told her not to worry herself about it. Tak was taken aback by his easy going nature of her issue as she finally saluted him before resuming her duties.
Some time later, Gaz woke up glancing around to check their quarters, and looked outside to one of the many ships outside the window from the living area before deciding to refresh herself after a decided look that came over her face as she shuffled back into the bedroom and to the bathroom for a very long bath.
He had been here for far too long now as he checked the time and the endless droning before announcing it was time for him to retire to their quarters. All that time there performing his functions, he would think of her, and desire to feel her back in his arms again. Sure he was obsessed with her. It was a great obsession to him. He wanted to hear anything she had to say to him or didn't. He loved the look in her eyes whenever she felt he said something stupid.
Smiling as their quarters were in view, he made his way in not surprised with how quiet it was. This girl was the quietest female he had come across. She'd make a perfect assassin. Something he once mentioned to her when she was just 13. He adored her simple response, "Cool, now go away.' Pausing in his reflection Zim was caught off by something. It felt colder in there making him feel odd as he stepped into their bedroom to see that the bed was unmade.
"Little Gaz?" He called tentatively, but there was no response as he spotted the light in the bathroom.
Narrowing his eyes, he went forward, and slowly touched the button to open the door before standing there to make him whimper out at what was not the normal color for the bath gel. He was afraid to step forward, but he did as he said her name again noting how her head was turned and how her chest wasn't moving. Panic went through him as he moved forward faster reaching to the red almost soaked tub lifting up her very limp body crying out to her to wake up. He believed this had to be an elaborate hoax. He called the Computer to run a diagnostic on her, and his response was the most soft regretful answer to what he didn't wish to know.
"I'm sorry sir. The Queen is dead."
Crying out in pain and holding her against him, he kept begging her to wake up. He kept begging her to come back if not for him but for her own brother. Zim never shed a tear before even if he was once close to it, but that night he did as he held her going through each memory he held dear of her. He didn't want her out of his arms. This was his, little Gaz. Someone he admired. Someone he loved and wanted to share his life with.
Holding her face gingerly in hand, he was amazed that she looked like an angel at that moment. He noticed she did cry because her cheeks were stained. Why did she do it? Did she hate him? Did he rush her?
"I'm so sorry, my Gaz." He whimpered out.
"Sir?"
"Computer I don't want to be disturbed at all." Zim sorrowfully requested.
Scanning how Zim looked with blood that didn't fully dry from before and was on him now. How he never seen his master ever look this saddened in all his life, the Computer knew how he loved the girl. Always spoke of her for years and even made fun of it. The Computer had a thought that maybe the girl wanted it done with, that invasion so that is why she gave herself over. She was far more different than before, but even as a computer, he had no clue she would do this thing.
Lifting what looked to be a note from her side of the bed with a tentacle, he brought it over to Zim. "It appears she wrote something for you."
Adjusting her a bit, he took the note and opened it making himself have to read it several times since in his current state of mind it just wasn't making sense.
Dear Zim,
At the present moment in time I have to part with you.
It really wasn't anything personal even though I think you will take it like that. That is understandable.
It doesn't mean I didn't love you. I did inform you that I was wired wrong. I did find myself repulsive.
I know you didn't find me repulsive, but in my mind I still was.
That is the thing when you feel so wrong with yourself, you feel uncomfortable all the time. Angry even.
It did need to end on Earth. I couldn't let you kill my own brother. In spite of what a pain he can be,
I love him, so I made a choice.
I know it will be hard to inform him of what happened to me and I apologize for being a coward.
I did try. I knew you would of done so much for me. More than any other guy would of.
If you want to be mad at me, go ahead. I deserve it.
Do me a favor that in few months you will go back to Earth to my favorite eating place to get a slice.
There will be something there for you. I can't tell you what it is, but you will see.
I love you,
Gaz.
Zim was frozen. Why go back in a few months? "What did she mean by that, Computer?"
"I wish I can tell you, Sir."
Examining her face, he kissed her lips. "What do you want, my Gaz?" He asked her softly. He wasn't mad at her. Simply confused.
Yeah some are going to hate me for a while after this chapter. Trust me. Purdy please.
