Pausing at the back door, she looked over at Zim's disguise he wore with a scrunched up nose. Yes it was extremely more passable than what he thought was normal before, but she adored his natural skin tone the best. Still, it was him underneath as she went to kiss him on his cheek. "As a warning he has been still in a mood from time to time."

"Why?" He was doubting about that second piece of business now if he was a bit unstable.

Gaz understood his perplexed expression as she reached up to cup his cheek. "Don't let him know or I will withhold something from you for the rest of this week." Seeing him frown there, she knew she got him. "He goes off and on the fence with Tak as he tries to reason stuff out inside his head. You don't know what happened between them, and I won't tell you, but it was enough for him to still act this way. I just allow him to speak. Funny thing is he has been supportive of me since you have been gone."

"Why did you tell me a few months instead of right then and there?"

"I figured that being a Tallest and having all that responsibility, that it would take you some time to come back so that is why I gave you that time frame." Glancing him over again, she wanted to pull him inside and take that damn disguise off.

Studying her unhappy face, he brushed some hair behind her ear. "What is it?"

"I hate you in disguise. Always have. I love you better au natural." Gaz replied. "Better get inside." Opening the door, she heard the television on in the other room.

"That you, Gaz?" Dib called out. "Did you see him?"

"Yeah and..." Indicates to Zim he can remove his hologram. "He's right here with me." Stepping in, Dib was sitting on the couch not even bothered when Zim stepped into view behind her as he remained sitting there. He did offer a casual wave at him.

Zim's eyes took him in at how not-caring he was acting with him there when before he would of launched off that couch shouting at him and stuff. Zim kinda remained stock still while Gaz walked over to sit beside her brother. That was where he saw Dib look at her with some light in his eyes when he placed a hand on hers.

"You finally look a little happier." Dib mentioned with a tiny smile on his face. "Are you going with him?"

Gaz smiled at him with a nod placing her other hand on top of his. "You know I really love him. I really want this."

Dib spared Zim another look. "I still wouldn't mind kicking his ass though."

"You look like you are out of practice though, Dib-stink." Zim pointed out. While he seemed still in shape it was like he gave up. "Took over your father's lab, eh? I thought you needed a degree or something."

"Dad was a good teacher and with him as your teacher it is like having a night course at college for so many damn years. Trust me, Zim, I have excellent qualifications to head up the lab." Twisting on the couch to have a better look at both of them he did catch something extra going on. "What the hell is going on? Planning on taking over the world again?"

"Pfffttt... No." Zim replied nonchalantly to that question with a wave of his hand before becoming serious. "My first and only thing for coming to Earth was for her." Smiling lovingly at her, he continued, "To see her walk into that disgusting pizza place you love so much was both a shock and delight to me, little Gaz."

Dib caught the blush on his sisters face as she tried to hide her face by bowing it down. Smiling at that, he looked back up at Zim.

"I'll spare you details there of everything else though since I'm not here to torture you." Zim stated easily.

"Whew! Thank goodness for that. I'm fine with my sister being happy even if it is with you, but spare those details please." Dib chuckled a little nervously at that.

Coming closer, Zim decided to sit down on their coffee table feeling the need to deliver the next piece of information in a more sensitive way rather than just simply standing over him. This did make Dib watch him even more cautiously than before since it really wasn't in Zim's typical old behavior of trying to act superior to him. Zim glanced to Gaz for more support and smiled when she leaned forward to touch his hand in silent support telling him he can do this. Zim took a deep breath as he told him of one mission that occurred. The one mission with Tak involved. He examined Dib's face as his face went through some varying degrees of disbelief. He became flushed and hyperventilated a bit making Gaz try to calm him down. Zim even went to get something for him to drink per her request. Dib downed the liquid before having to ask his question of if he was sure. Zim told him yes since they have been performing readings ever since it happened. Dib went forward burying his head in his hands as Gaz rubbed his back trying to soothe him.

"Dib, there is more to this?" Gaz spoke softly to him as she continued rubbing his back.

"What more can there be?" It was Dib's turn to sputter out.

"Well it turns out that you have a son, Dib." Gaz answered. "You are a father."

Eyes wide, did he just hear correctly? Still remaining in a hunched position, he turned his head to regard his sister as she repeated the information before leaning back to glance at Zim in disbelief.

Zim raised an eyebrow ridge up. "He's actually cute for a half Irken and half human baby. He's young, but already smart." He offered.

"He actually has hair along with his antennas. Hair like yours." Gaz added. "I played with him for a little. Reminds me of you a little too much."

"That must of been annoying to you, Gaz." Dib quipped sullenly. He has a son? "Where is he?"

"Still at Zim's base. We were waiting to tell you and see if... Well, you are his dad."

Brushing his hair back, he had a whole list in his head. "Where will he stay? What is his name? Is this what Tak really wanted? Will I be a good dad?"

Dib kept rattling off more to the point, that Gaz took his face in her hand in a gentle grip so he can focus on her. "Since he is a boy and your room is already perfectly designed for a boy, he should stay in there and you take over mom and dad's room. It is time and you are head of this household. His name is Jack. Just a simple name. As for you being a good dad... Well yeah! So don't worry there."

"Tak wanted him to come to you. Said you should know your son. Said that one day she would of come down to do it herself. To have you meet him. She is just sorry not to be here to see him grow up." Zim added.

Dib studied Zim knowing he was the last to speak to her and while his feelings will always be confused about her along with the last time they saw one another, he suddenly stood up. "Gaz, could you help me. Uh I don't have anything for a baby though."

"I will leave full detailed instructions on how to raise a smeet. The Computer printed it all out at least. As for any supplies, I do have some furnishings that came along. Anything else you'll have to pick up yourself." Zim informed him as he stood up himself. "I will give you time to do that upstairs, while I gather things at the base. Gaz will call me when you are ready." Bending down, he kissed her mouth before parting company from them.

Gaz saw Dib's stoned expression again as she stood up to hit him on the arm. "Come on, Genius. Time to do crap upstairs. I thought I got enough of a work out yesterday and last night."

"Gaz!"

"Seriously, Dib. I'm married and that is what married couples do." Turning on the first step to regard him, she added, "Yes since I'm not dead, their Control Brains recognize our union still."

Under his breath he muttered out how he just didn't want to hear about her sex life though just like he was sure she didn't want to hear the same as he rushed upstairs to first go into their parents old room to get started there. It was really strange to finally be doing this after all this time, but Dib had to admit that it needed to be done. New life will be beginning here again. He had a son coming. A son? It was so strange. Tak wanted a smeet and in his rage he did grant her one. During the whole process of finally getting something done to that room where he knew he could do more to later, he started moving his computers and clothes in there, but paused again making Gaz hit him with a piece of his own clothing.

"Thoughts?" She urged out as she bent down to walk past him to hang up some clothes.

"In the future if he asks me about her and why we weren't married and you know. What do I say?"

She wasn't going to be cruel in this by telling him to not be a baby himself. The poor guy finds out that Tak is dead and he has a son and the way the kid came to be was not the most romantic way in the world. Gaz shrugged her shoulder. "Say good things about her at least. I know you had a big thing for her for years and the way Jack came into this world is not something on a card, but it is fine to fudge some details." Pushing past him she slapped him on the shoulder. "Trust me, you'll do fine. I'm gonna clean out that room of yours. Vacuum and dust it. At least you are a decently clean guy. Just not behind the furniture."

Dib appreciated what she said as he continued on with what he was doing. Soon he will see him.

Gaz called Zim back to the house telling him that Dib was as ready as he was going to be. As they waited for Zim to arrive, Dib would either pace or sit down in a short amount of time. It was such a short trip between the two places, but Dib made what he was doing like it was a 7 hour journey instead. Hearing the backdoor open, Dib stood up like a statue again as Zim entered carrying a bundle in his arms. Gaz loved how Zim looked as he carried the tiny smeet in his hands carefully. The same alien who refused to have any type of emotions because they were weak, showed so much care with, Jack.

Even Dib stopped considering how this situation looked. Never in his life he would of thought that Zim would be his brother-in-law and Uncle to his child. Never he would of thought to see him being this tender as he walked up to him to pass his son into his nervous, but waiting arms. Dib's eyes glistened as he peered down at the tiny tuft of black hair in the middle of his scalp with two antenna's beside it. He was green with some human characteristics, and purple eyes as Jack looked up at him for the first time to smile. Dib's legs felt weak as he went back down to the couch to study this beauty in front of him. "Hey, Jack. It's your dad." Jack cooed at him trying to reach up to him making Dib smile. "You are perfect."

Whispering in her ear, both Gaz and Zim stepped outside to gather the stuff to bring in, which was largely portable, but Zim felt Gaz needed to step away for the moment. "Dib's annoying, but he'll be attentive at least." Zim offered.

"I will admit to him being my surrogate dad, but I was a brat. Jack isn't though." She wiped a tear away. "He'll do great with him. I do want one some day."

Coming close to her ear, he said, "Yes, but ours will be far more superior."

Gaz slapped him playfully for that ego of his. "Let's get the stuff in."

For Dib, he was simply entranced by this life he held in his arms. In spite of what happened between Tak and himself, there seemed to be this tiny little gift. "I'll be there always." He murmured. Watching a little hand grab for him, he let Jack grasp his fingers as best as he could before he laughed.

"He laughs like you." Was Gaz's passing comment as she went upstairs with Zim with a parcel floating past them.

"You have eyes and skin like your mom." Dib said to Jack.

Up in the room, Gaz directed where the stuff can go, before deciding on placing that bed of Dib's in the portable to store away. Zim was at least allowing that to stay behind. For Zim he eyed the room across from the one they were in currently, and went to lift her up to walk into that bedroom. Depositing her on the bed, he went on his knees to kiss her as she sat on the edge of the bed. He loved her instant response to him as she tilted her head back to give him access to her neck as his hands perused up into her shirt to claim both of her breasts to fondle.

"I hope you ravage me later, little Gaz." He whispered.

"I will. Promise." Feeling him nip her tips through the fabric of her bra she pushed herself more against him. "You know we can't keep this up here."

"I know, but he is distracted right now." Slipping her strap down to gain access to some flesh, he licked her exposed flesh. "And I'm gonna spend every moment with my wife."

Hearing the familiar sound of the stairs creaking, she pushed away adjusting herself immediately. "He's coming upstairs. You can have me later." Gaz whispered as she slipped out of bed, and went into the hallway stepping out in time when Dib emerged upstairs. "Everything is set up."

Coming past, he went inside to inspect how she set the room up noticing it was about the same as Earth furniture, just far more modern. It did seem to match the room though as he walked over to lay down his tiny sleeping mass into the crib before straightening up. He hardly noticed Gaz and Zim joining him on either side with Zim handing him a tiny device. Examining it, Dib stepped out of the room with them so they can talk in the hallway. "What is this?"

"Well you can't go out there with a half alien baby can you? Hologram device. Gaz already set up how the smeet will look in human form. Which is basically you with purple eyes." Zim explained before showing him another part of the device. "In time when he is older it can be disguised like a simple watch, so you just press this button when he is old enough."

Dib exclaimed how cool that was as Gaz made an excuse to get something to drink. Watching her leave, Dib made it his time to say something to Zim finally. "You know it will take me some time to get use to the idea of both of you. She was so upset she did that to you. Was afraid. It is true I record my conversations on my computer, and even though as much as I don't like you, seeing the pain you were in when you told me about her it was too much for me. It showed how you did love her. You do." He corrected the last part quickly. "She was here when you called, and heard a little, but when she demanded to see the transmission I knew it would kill her more so I erased it. She cried so much. My sister never cried that much before in her life. My sister wanting me to hold her when she is like that is still foreign to me because it isn't like her."

"I'm not angry at her for that. I told her that. Hurt, but not angry." Zim offered. "Seeing her alive again was a prayer come true for me."

Glancing over to where Jack laid, Dib smiled softly. "Even though Tak isn't around anymore, I guess in a way we are both lucky in having someone around we both love in separate ways."

"I have to step away from you, Dib-stink or else I'll start liking you." Zim quipped taking a few steps backwards down the hall. "As it is I need to go back up there and figure what the hell happened. I will, but I'm not exactly happy it happened."

"What would the previous Tallests do?" Dib wondered after shutting the door partially.

"Say something like, oh well, and toss snacks into their mouths."

"I'm wrong... I believe your old Tallests were actually jerks." Dib corrected.

"Don't worry, I'm a jerk to a point." Zim admitted. "Look, you do have access in communicating with us to speak and to ask questions about, Jack. I know you won't use this against us now that we are family."

Dib made an odd sound as he turned on the monitor. "Will you keep me informed about that at least? I did care for Tak after all."

"I never knew why to tell you the truth when even I thought you were better than her." Laughing at his surprised look, Zim added, "At least I could talk to you at times."

"You aren't gonna kiss my husband are you?" Gaz teased from the bottom of the stairs.

Both Zim and Dib made faces at her. "He is the one talking sappy, not me Gaz." Dib argued.

Bounding downstairs, Zim wrapped Gaz up in his arms. "For that you will be properly punished later."

Giggling, Gaz placed an arm around his shoulders while keeping her drink in tact. "I dare you." She challenged. "Now put me down." Being placed down, she went to Dib. "Will you be all right?"

"Yeah. I guess." He laughed at his nervousness. "Come on, I just found out I have a kid and my sister is leaving Earth for real. I hope you come back to visit."

Handing her drink to Zim to hold, she placed her arms around Dib. "I will. Can't promise when, but I will. Remember you can talk to me and you'll do great with Jack. Love you, Genius."

"Love you too, Gaz." With that Dib kissed the top of her head.

He hated this species to no end. He hated how they believed to be far more superior than any other. How dare them try to invade their space? After defeat of a previous leader and a long time friend who turned foe, he thought it best to change the flow. The dynamics of the planet, but when they came along it was something unforgivable so it was time to send a message. Of course he caught a transmission from the female of the destroyed ship to the Tallest there. She was a mother. Very unheard of nowadays for that culture now, but there is was and she was young. While it isn't a surprise that the Tallests will be allowed to mate with someone, this female was not of rank to do so. Curious, he did something while in the process of destroying that ship. Something that might prove fun for a little while.

Hearing the ugly groans from in front of him, he smiled and sneered at the figure as it came back to life. The shackles were so fitting for such a uncultured being. He wondered what her first reaction will be. So he waited as her eyes opened up slowly to focus on his feet before scanning his body up to his face.

"Am I dead?" She inquired groaning sitting up to sit against the wall feeling dizzy.

"You were, but I brought you back."

"Why?"

His answer just seemed to say it all without saying it all. "I hate Irkens."

Now begins Part 3
