Oh yeah Tak is a bit messed up, Everclear.

They are one another's weakness, Me2U2 and Invader Johnny.

I don't know what else to say right now. :) I'm suffering from brain drain that I can blame on Zim.

He couldn't understand it, he was told she was dead and here she is. She showed up in the lobby looking like hell in her human disguise. She looked so sick. What happened to her? Ordering everyone to leave her be, he took out his laptop to call the one being that could help him. Breathing hard, it felt like an eternity before he answered.

"Dib? Gaz will be out in a moment. Is there a problem with Jack?" Zim questioned.

"No, Jack is wonderful, but there is something you need to see." Dib replied. Turning the camera to point at Tak's prone figure on the table in front of him, he then pointed the camera back at him. "She wandered into the lobby looking sick as all hell. They said she was unresponsive when they talked to her before she passed out."

"Impossible. You sure it is her and not a doppleganger?"

Dib was surprised he knew that word. "Squeedly spooch and all. I'm the only one who has examined her. Zim, what the hell? You told me there were no survivors."

Zim went silent before he turned his head. "It's your brother. Tak is alive, she wandered into his lobby out of it."

Gaz came into view to look at her worried and confused brother. "Dib, is she at the lab still with you?"

"Yeah, but I don't think I'm gonna keep her here. There are too many questions."

Gaz sighed. "Zim this is getting stranger now. First that guy pretending to be you and now this. What the hell?"

"What guy pretending to be him? Gaz, talk to me." Dib demanded.

"Some guy came in here pretending to be Zim, but I caught on to it pretty quick that it was a fake. Don't know why he was here." Gaz answered in a very bored tone.

"Ugh." Studying Tak in front of him, he had an alarming thought. "Do you think, Jack is safe?"

"We hope so, Dib-stink." Zim said in response. "Great for once I get to ask, now what?"

"Get her home and nurse her back to health. If you have to, tie her down if you are unsure." Gaz suggested.

"Tie her down?" Dib was incredulous. "I don't think I could do that to her."

Shrugging, Zim decided for another approach. "Well bring her home and nurse her back to health. I'll send you a full list of what you need."

"Yeah, I could do that. I don't feel like traumatizing her."

"Just keep us updated about her and as for us we are still looking into that problem."

Nodding, Dib said, "I will Zim. Gaz, I miss you."

"Miss you too, Genius." Smiling at him the screen went blank.

Closing his laptop, he placed it away. "What happened, Tak?" He whispered as he moved some hair from her face before hailing Simmons. "Simmons, I'm heading home for the rest of the day with my friend here." Pause. "Yes, she will be fine, she needs plenty of rest." Pause. "I don't want to get into that, but I'll be home working as well." Hanging up, he went to lift her up gently in his arms. "You'll be healthy in no time, Tak."

"Ahhhh, what the fuck?" Gaz asked suddenly as she leaned her elbow against the tabletop so she can put her head in the palm of her hand as she regarded Zim. "I mean seriously."

Hands on her hips, he looked her directly in the eyes. "I dunno. I feel like I just re-visited Bloaties for the first time."

Gaz laughed at that memory. "Ah good times."

Pinching her rear, he moved his hands to pull up a list to send to Dib. Things that would be easily translated in case he didn't have them at home. Sending it, he leaned back in his chair. "Well this kills the mood a bit." He groaned out.

Switching positions on his lap she pretended she was giving him a lap dance. "I know there is a little crisis going on, but there is the promise of violence and you know how that gets to me."

Enjoying the sensations she was offering he couldn't help but prop her up against the desk. "I certainly do, little Gaz." He purred out lifting her dress up.

She awoke on a fairly decent size bed in a darkish room with some light coming in from a curtain. Glancing to her right she noticed the stuffed animals of odd types and wondered where she was. Hearing the sound of a baby crying, she really wondered where she was. She felt pulled by that sound making her way slowly out of her room and to the sound of the infant. Shuffling her feet, she made her way to the room with some success, and entered to see the cutest but interesting baby ever to live.

"Hey, you hungry?" She asked tenderly as she glanced around the room to see a tiny fridge in there. Walking to it, she opened it to see a set of instructions noting to not warm the formula at all. Picking up the formula, she set it on the table as she went to pick up the baby to coo at it. "Oh you look like a smart one."

Smiling, she sat down on the only seat in the room to feed the tiny bundle. Feeling a song in her head, she started to sing it. She never will have the best voice, but she will love to see this baby happy. Seeing that the kid was done with the formula, she just wanted to talk to him.

"You are by far the most interesting thing I have ever seen. I love that." She whispered.

At that point, Dib walked into the room smiling at the scene of mother with son. "Jack is great." He said softly earning a surprised look from Tak.

"Oh I'm sorry, I heard him crying and I was compelled to do this." She said nervously.

"No, that is more than fine." Taking a couple more steps inside the room, he couldn't help fall for this sight in front of him. "He's half Irken and half human."

Jack now sleeping, she somehow filled with pride for this baby. Why would she feel pride for a child she didn't know? "Is that why he is green?"

"Yes."

"Who are you?"

"My name is Dib Membrane. The baby your holding is mines and his name is Jack."

Mouth downturned, she tried to fight the tears from coming. "I don't know my name."

She sounded so sad to him. He wanted to wrap her up in his arms to comfort her. "Your name is Tak. You were born on Irk. You were an Invader."

Eyes wide, she stood up to gently place the baby back in the crib before heading outside further down in the hallway. "You sound crazy. I'm not that."

"Come downstairs with me so we can talk without disturbing him."

Following him down, he indicated they should sit on the couch. Something she had to agree to since she still felt a little weak. "I'm human." Was her argument.

Dib really didn't know how to approach her on any of this since they suggested several methods for anyone suffering from losing their memory. "What you see is just a hologram over your natural body." Shaking his head. "I don't want to place you into any type of shock, Tak saying all of this because whatever happened to you must of been traumatic."

"If-if I really am this thing, then what do I look like?" She asked timidly.

"May I?" Seeing her nod, he scooted over near her to deactivate her hologram by pressing the button on her wrist device and with that her natural self showed. The only thing not natural was the fright in her eyes when she looked at three digits on her hands that were pointed and not regular human hands anymore. "It's alright." Dib said softly as he went to remove her glove so she can look at them further.

"I'm a monster." She whimpered out as she stared dumbfounded at her naked hand. "I saw something on the way from the field about invasions and these pictures of aliens. What they did and I'm one of them." Covering her face she felt the difference between her human form and her natural form making her hyperventilate. "What are you going to do with me?"

Reaching out he placed his hands on both her arms as he continued in the same gentle tone. "Nothing. I wouldn't do anything to you. I swear it. You are safe with me here."

"How do you happen to have a half alien child?" She wondered.

"Well that is because that child is ours, Tak. We've known one another for a long time, but just been together twice in that whole span."

She sensed truth in him, but he seemed so kind while something seemed lurking in her. "Impossible. How? Please give me the details."

"What exact details?" Dib honestly didn't want to recount how Jack was conceived.

"How," Points upstairs. "He came to be. Tell me."

"Tak, you don't want to know."

Reaching out to him, she took his hands. "It may help me to remember. I can smell you, and while it agrees with me, I need things answered. Please."

Dib had to take a deep breath in order to tell her everything. He hated how miserable she looked as he told her all this while she kept repeating how much of an awful monster she was. "Tak, our first time wasn't anything like that. It was just two individuals who were curious and wanting the same thing. I had to say it was the best for me even if I didn't know what I was doing. I didn't regret being with you."

"I bet now you do."

"Nope, because we wouldn't have Jack. You named him by the way." Tak smiled faintly there. "I was so angry that night when you did that to me, true. I had too many pressures already on top of me, but to be trussed up like that to the point that you had that intention did anger me. I was also so angry at my sister. I was angry at Zim and the whole invasion. I had so many people counting on me and it was funny how much I wanted to be a hero that when it finally is happening, I wanted to scream. When you told me you wanted a smeet and I refused, but I managed to get lose and do what you wanted. I remember your face. I'm certain of why you acted the way you did because as much as you act tough, Tak you truly can be soft at times. You told me something before we parted for the last time. Something I refused to acknowledge."

"What did I say?" She asked meekly.

"I won't repeat it because it is something you must remember on your own. As for me I didn't know if I was truly there."

Watching him move away from her and sit back in a forlorn way, Tak felt like a bigger monster than before. "For whatever it is worth, I apologize."

Dib just made a face she couldn't quite make sense of. "You can stay here. I want you to stay here. Think of it as your place too."

"You sure?"

"Tak, I wouldn't say it unless I didn't mean it." Glancing over at her, he felt worn out emotionally. "We'll figure what happened to you. Zim is also looking into it as well."

"Who is Zim?"

"He is the Tallest. Your leader. He is married to my sister." Dib replied as he studied how she was once against studying herself. "As much as your hologram is pleasant for me to look at, your true self, I believe, is far more beautiful."

Standing up, Tak decided to head back upstairs knowing she saw a room as she passed to see the baby. Heading into the bathroom, she spotted the mirror to take a look at herself to see large purple eyes and long antennas that curled with long lashes. She was tall, she guessed. He called her beautiful like this. She didn't see it because all she saw was ugliness. Saddened, she moved out the bathroom, paused, and headed back to the baby's room. In there, she watched a very sleepy Jack. Her insides felt so warm just by staring at him and all she felt was love for someone she just met.

"I'll help protect you." She swore softly smiling as Jack curled his tiny hand near his mouth.
