Pissed off Zim... Yay!
Gaz opened her eyes to everything blinding her all at once. The sky and the hard plain bluish ground was really bright for her to take since she needed to get her bearings right now as she still sensed danger. Turning around a little, she spotted her brother not too far from her with his face turned the other way while he laid on his back. Crawling over, she immediately noticed that Jack was no where's around making her feel the ground below them. Wherever they were right now it was steeped in nothing but energy.
"Dib wake up." She urged close to his ear, but he didn't stir. Turning his face towards her, she saw that he was breathing, but she pressed her ear to his chest to see how strong his heartbeat was. Feeling it was good enough, she kept calling out to him, but he still didn't wake up. Pursing her lips, she didn't wish to do this, but she slapped his face a little to get him to stir in which he did, but it wasn't good enough. Oh he might hate her for this. Pinching him hard on his arm, his eyes flew open.
"Ow. Gaz." He reprimanded softly before he quickly remembered what happened making him sit up quickly. "Jack? Where's Jack?!" He asked in a panic. "JACK!"
Getting up quickly, she grabbed his hands to calm him down. "Shh. He obviously has him and for some reason he just left us here in the middle of boring ville. We have to keep calm so we can get him back, Dib." Gaz was speaking softly keeping constant eye contact with him. "Please, for your son."
Taking a calm but unsteady breath, Dib understood why they needed to remain calm. "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine, I just need sunglasses here."
"He spoke to me. I heard his voice before... It was a strange voice." Dib was glad for physical contact his sister was keeping with him right now. "He wants Jack. Tak was commanded to take him away. As if she would willingly do it so I know she had that thing placed in her. Tak may be many things, but she wouldn't do that to her own son." Takes a deep breath. "There was this other thing with you, it wasn't much but it was to hurt Zim and that he was fascinated with you."
"Right now we won't worry about the latter part of what you said. Our first priority is getting Jack back." Scanning around her again she started to feel around her before closing her eyes and not only using the energy of the place, but her and her brother as well to locate a point of origin to where they need to go. Opening her eyes, she let go one of his hands. "It is important that we keep constant physical contact with one another at all times, Dib. I mean it" Guiding him to where they needed to go, they both started to walk.
"Funny how I never questioned your abilities for so many years. I know I was afraid of them especially in light of the Shadowhog thing." Dib mentioned.
Thinking about it, she told him, "That is possibly the last time I used them too. If I used it any other time I really am not aware of it until I attacked that guy." Feeling everything around her, she felt it feeding into her. "Thing is right now this place is speaking to me. I mean not in the way of what type of planet this is or any other thing we want to know, but I mean in the way of energy."
"That means you could manipulate it." Studying the ground for a little while, he looked back up to see how bright and boring this place is. "Why Jack? He doesn't have powers. He is smart, and he drew that map, but he doesn't have powers."
"That you know of."
"Meaning?"
Listening around her and paying attention to them both was a lot already, but she answered patiently, "You may not have powers yet, but who knows maybe dad did slip some of mom's genetic code in you while cloning you. I mean it explains a lot in terms of how gung ho you were about the paranormal just like she was. Mom did have some abilities that even you didn't see that I saw myself."
"Seriously? Like what?"
"She was good at predicting stuff and light levitating."
Smiling, Dib said, "My ability is to get my ass kicked and still manage not to get killed." Gaz sniggered at that. "I mean seriously, when I first saw Zim he was this small guy who looked wimpy as all hell, but he is stronger than he looked and the shit we got into I'm surprised I'm alive still."
"Ah and your ability is your hard head." Gaz said slyly grinning.
As much as he hated this whole situation at least he wasn't alone in this right now.
Opening her eyes, she immediately spotted the crib near her bed. Jack? Bringing her head up more she scanned the room till she noticed him sitting casually at the corner of the room happily scrutinizing her. She hated those eyes on her. She hated those red teeth as he flashed his smile at her. "Where am I?" Her voice was rough.
"Plegerin." Came his simple answer.
She never heard of it. "Who are you?"
"Pressner, I don't come from here."
"Where do you come from?"
"Conplerz, my dear."
Tak sneered at him calling her that. "Why am I here?"
"To help raise your son."
Snapping her attention back to the crib she tried to see a shape in there from her angle, but couldn't. "Please don't tell me you brought him here?" Panic rose in her voice.
Standing up easily, he went to the side of her bed to sit down beside her. "Now, now, my dear he'll be safe as long as you cooperate with us."
"What do you want with me? He should be with Dib." Tak demanded as she tried to struggle.
"The one that hired me wants him here and even though he can't stand your kind he is sparing you to help raise your son. To take care of him and to feed him."
The way he scanned down her body made Tak cringe. "I'm sure you didn't bring his special formula or anything."
"Nope, but I do know something about the older Irkens that will hold true with the newer breeds like yourself. These teeny tiny bumps you have on your chest will still serve a purpose in feeding that baby of yours. I'm certain you can do it."
She knew she could, but seriously how is she supposed to do that being chained up? "I wouldn't be able to feed him like this."
Looking at the cuffs, he smiled again. "Oh I know." Tapping the area where her squeedly spooch is, he said, "I will take those off of you, but I need to talk to you first to let you know something. See, you still have this in you so if you plan to escape alone or with him, you die. I know you won't leave without him seeing who he would be left with, so here you stay. You got that?" Tak snarled at him making him chuckle. "I'll take that as a yes. Also I'm not a nursemaid. That isn't my occupation at all, but at least I'm getting paid extra since he believes I get to torture you nice and special still."
"What is your occupation?"
"Wow, I really wiped that memory pretty good when I placed that device in you. Well anyhow. I am an assassin. I love to torture, kill, and maim beings of any type. I even killed off my entire species simply because I wanted to be number one. Also because I loved having their blood washed all over me." Taking a deep breath of pleasure in for that, he smiled largely. "Violence is the best."
"So you are here to torture my pride right now?"
Leaning close to her face, he whispered, "Bingo." Leaning back, he added, "Irkens are so damn prideful that you kill their pride and they lose it. The guy that hired me, Psyllic, he hates your kind with such a passion that he doesn't want to look at you unless he absolutely has to. Don't ask me why because he isn't discussing all his motivations with me and really I don't care just as long as I don't get screwed over."
"He'll kill me eventually, won't he?"
Pressner didn't know what to take of how she asked that question. It was so soft and sad, and while he never took pity on anyone before he didn't know the answer just yet. "Right now you are to be the mother of your child. Anything else, I have no clue about."
Slowly she looked into his eyes to hold on to his gaze as she tried to gage him until Jack started fussing inside his crib making her body react a little. "He's hungry." While she loved feeding her son, she hated doing it here.
"Remember what I told you about escaping." He warned as he quickly undid her cuffs by the snap of his fingers before getting up to move over to the crib. Seeing her objection, he silenced her with a simple look before lifting up the tiny bundle, and bringing it over to her. "Time for you to feed him."
"Not in front of you." Jack was begging for his food, but she couldn't take the way Pressner stared at her. "At least look away."
Cocking his head to the side he looked amused. "What did I tell you. It begins now, little Irken. Feed him while I'm here."
Hating to keep her son waiting and hating on having someone who wasn't Dib look at her, she tried to push Pressner out of her mind as she moved the still gown she wore away from her front a little to expose herself. She was glad that Jack latched on making this beautiful moment tainted. She didn't care for herself, but she hoped someone would save her son and take him away from here.
Farther outside the atmosphere where that mysterious planet laid held most of the Armada along with the Massive. Zim knew it was risky to have so many against an unknown enemy, but he had to wonder if this one wanted an actual fight or wanted to be, for what humans might refer to as, pussies. Zim felt within him that his Gaz was nearby. That girl will want to protect her nephew and her brother then come back to him.
"Still no readings, my Tallest." Came a shout out.
"Continue scanning. This enemy does seem to know what they are doing." Zim ordered plainly.
"Indeed I do."
Everyone looked around at the unknown voice while Zim pinpointed the voice to be nearer to him making him turn his attention towards it. "Either you show yourself or you are too much of a coward to do such a thing."
"I think not, Irken scum. I will show myself when I see fit." Psyllic's voice dripped out like acid.
"That shows how much of a coward you are than." Zim sneered feeling the exact height of this character not to be that far off from himself as he stood staring in that direction. "I want my entire family back including my soldier, Tak."
Psyllic laughed at him for being so ballsy. "Oh you can't even consider, Tak to be part of the family when she is the mother of your brother-in-law's baby. I wonder how that will affect her? I already have Pressner looking over her all the time. Just imagine what he is doing to her as we speak."
"Why her in particular? If you hate Irkens so much, why her? What game are you trying to pull right now?"
"Thing is, Zim I won't say a word of what I'm doing. I'm not one of those who let others in like that. All you know right now is what you know."
Zim hissed. "Coward."
Laughing, Psyllic enjoyed watching the anger flowing through him. "I guess you wouldn't mind proof of life, correct? Although I feel like sending something towards your wife and her brother just to see how they fare. Enjoy the show."
With that the screens lit up showing both Gaz and Dib walking side by side holding hands as they walked along. They were alert in the plain land before they paused for a second as rumbling was heard. Glancing behind her, Gaz's eyes got wider as the land started splitting apart behind them making her cry out to run for it. Dib and Gaz's heights were very different, but Gaz never let her small frame stop her from almost passing her own brother even as he looked behind to say it stopped, but she halted abruptly making him trip a little.
Dib recovered quickly as he made sense quickly of why she did that before they stood back to back against one another. Nothing was seen on the screens, but it had to be there for them to react this way because it seemed all at once they were attacked by all sides from soldiers or something as they descended on them. It was 2 against 8 at least. Not really much considering who they were dealing with, but without a word, Gaz's other hand was grabbed by Dib's as he rolled her on his back so she can kick the nearest shoulder in the head before doing the same for Dib. Unfortunately they had to unclasp their hands to do their hand to hand with the remaining others where it seemed like what was sent out to test them was nothing but untrained soldiers.
"That wasn't much of a challenge." Dib spoke. "But obviously a warm up."
Gaz's only response was to grab for his hand, but something grabbed for her instead slamming her into the ground. Gaz struggled against something unseen. "You again? Ugh go away!" Dib ran up to see if he could help her but was pushed away making him skitter away. "You hurt my brother and I will kill you."
Figure materializing in front of her, Gaz's eyes narrowed up more as he slammed her wrists into the ground hard. "Tell your brother that if he tries to attack me again than I will do a number on his mate." Psyllic informed her. Seeing Dib stop in his movements, he sneered down at, Gaz. "Nice to meet you on my turf. It seems your husband really wants his family back including Tak. Oh Dib, he doesn't consider her family, just a soldier. How brutal."
"So your the asshole who attacked me and brought us here. Where are we?" Gaz spat out as she looked at his bluish skin. "What the hell are you? A smurf?"
Having no clue what that is, Psyllic ignored it as he stared down at the gutsy little fireball under him. "This is a show for your husband to view right now and for me to test you and your brother out."
"I want my son back and my sister to be let go now!" Dib demanded.
"What about your lover, Dib?" Psyllic refused to take his eyes off of her.
"I know one thing about Tak. Tak is a survivor and if I stay here with her, trust me there will be hell to pay for you." Dib swore.
Raising an eyebrow up, Psyllic quirked his lips up a bit. "Sounds like love. I guess."
"You don't know shit about love." Gaz hissed out.
"Perhaps. But I do know about lust." Quickly he went down to lick the side of her face prompting her to shoot out a strong energy from her body making him jump away from her. "I see you only like the Tallest's tongue on you instead." Gaz stood up about to throw some flames his way, but he waggled his finger at her. "Uh uh, not now. This was for your husbands viewing pleasure. I will see you both later soon enough."
Dib, Gaz and Zim watched as he disappeared. All three of them were fuming with one raging on the Massive. "Keep tracking down information on any blue ass freaks with powers and find it now!" Zim cried out making everyone fly their digits furiously over their panels.
"I'll get you back. I'll get you back." Zim promised softly as he watched the video fade away where his last image was still of a furious Gaz who at least directed her attention up for a few seconds at least making him feel like she was looking directly at him.
