Yes it was an old memory of Dib and Tak's first time together, Everclear.
I love pointing out about Zim's over inflated ego and Zim remarking about it. I find it funny when people do that.
"Pressner, they are coming. It is time to destroy that Irken." Came the unfiltered thought going through Pressner's head.
"Done." Was his simple reply back.
"You never disappoint."
Head resting on his pillow, he knew she left the bed already to tend to her son. Taking a few heavy breaths in and out, he got up himself to quickly change to head to the bedroom as she sat on the other side of the bed simply holding him. Pressner fell for the little thing. Why did he have to? That is a weakness.
Hearing her tell her son he sleeps too much, she got up to place him back in the crib, and simply stared down before she shut her eyes. Opening them back up, she walked around the bed to notice him again. It was time for another weapon to be born, but prior to his act, he admitted with all his heart, "I wish I didn't fall in love with you."
His attack was so swift and quick that in the end he found himself stumbling into his bedroom shedding tears for the first time.
The large palace-like structure that was plain from far away actually did have some details up close. Not that Dib and Gaz actually gave a crap to it as they entered inside still not enjoying the trap-like atmosphere. The plan was for him to get Tak and Jack while she deals with Psyllic. Stepping into the living area, Gaz yawned out of sheer boredom.
"So Psyllic, you want to come out or do you want to do that stupid sneak attack again?" Gaz asked as she stepped away from Dib. "Coward holding an innocent baby hostage."
"I don't take too kindly to unfriendly guests in my home." Psyllic appeared in front of her in full view this time. "Next time you come, come naked at least."
"I have a naked hatchet I wouldn't mind introducing you to." Gaz told him. She needed physical contact with him. The plan needed to work.
Unhappy about leaving his sister, Dib made his way from them hearing the faint cries of a baby above. Moving along he located the stairs and went up.
Psyllic studied the girl in front of him. "You aren't human with those powers. No human has those powers."
Shrugging, Gaz's simple mocking response was, "I guess it happens when I have my monthly. Strange stuff happens within a girls uterus."
"Why the Irken of all beings to mate with?"
"He gives good tongue." Yes that was crude, but true. "You in love with Pressner since you are all buddy buddy with him?"
Pushing her at the couch, his temper flared. "You will die for such insolence."
Gaz's grin was full of malicious intent as she rabbit kicked him in the chest sending him flying. "I love my violence."
Reaching the second level, Dib was listening to which room Jack was in as he continued crying. Eyes focused, he went into that direction till he reached Pressner leaning casually against the wall. Battle stance at the ready, Pressner looked actually bored as he pushed off from the wall to approach him. "You can't stop me." Dib informed him.
"I have that feeling." Hearing Jack crying, he said, "I wonder why Tak isn't taking care of her son? Hmmmm."
"Bastard." Dib cursed as he went to launch an attack against him.
Gaz hated the fact that she was getting her ass kicked by this douche bag. Even though she landed some good blows to him, he still handed them back in terrifying ways. She knew she couldn't give up. She won't give up even as he sent a shock blast to her stomach area.
"You. Belong. Here." Psyllic said emphasizing each word out of his mouth. "Don't you see it?"
"I see your a lunatic." Gaz answered punching him square in the face. "You need medication for that."
In the outer atmosphere of space, Zim was watching as the planet near him was coming in and out in a erratic way. What the hell was going on?
What Zim didn't know was that the fight between Gaz and Psyllic was the reason for the strobe effect on the planet as they continued to fight.
Dib was driving a lot of his energy into beating this guy up not knowing that Pressner's life energy was draining out of him as he stood there in front of him. Pressner had a hard time deflecting the shots he was given so he decided to give the kid a break and allow him to defeat him.
Dib found something shiny inside his pocket, so he quickly went to snag it to stab it into his heart making him sputter and fall quickly to the ground. "Bastard." Still hearing Jack, he made his way to the sound he found it at the end of the hallway. Finding it locked, he started kicking at it until it finally opened. Rushing in, he found Jack standing up in his crib crying his eyes out, and staring in the direction of a body on the bed. "Tak." He breathed out reaching her side.
Tak was bloodied and her pak was pretty dismantled. She had a difficult time breathing when Dib came to her side. She hoped this wasn't an illusion. "Dib?"
"Tak? What happened?" Dib asked giving her a gentle kiss on the lips.
Smiling at him, she made a comment, "I love your kisses."
"I love yours." Kissing her again, he went back to scanning her. "We need to get you out of here."
"No. Don't. Save Jack." Closing her eyes, it was difficult to stay open. "Please, I'm not worth it."
"Quiet. Your worth it to me."
Coughing, Tak wanted to touch him, but couldn't. "Pressner took advantage of me."
"What?!"
"I'm so sorry."
Placing a gentle hand on her cheek, he told her, "You have nothing to be sorry about. I love you. Remember that. I love you, Tak."
Smiling finally, she said, "I love you too."
Raising himself up, he rushed over to the crib to take Jack in his arms and brought him over to lay on his mom. Taking a deep breath, Dib in turn lifted Tak in his arms with Jack on her. "Gaz is downstairs."
Gaz was being pounded into the wall. She smelled blood knowing it was hers. She attacked him, but he threw at the wall each time. Pissed, she hoped Dib would return before she lost more blood.
Running downstairs, Dib was surprised he didn't have Pressner to deal with, but coming into the living room to see blood behind Gaz each time she pounded in the wall wasn't fun. He saw she knew he was there so he rushed over to make body contact with Pressner.
Grabbing Psyllic, and concentrated all her power to get out there. Psyllic was furious at her, but she didn't care as a swirl of energy surrounded them before they disappeared and emerged on the bridge of the Massive as all three adults passed out in prone positions all except Psyllic who was about to mistake when he heard someone speak to him.
"Hey, Psyllic." Decks him directly in the face knocking him out. "That is for being a pain in the ass for us." Zim said as he quickly went to Gaz's side. Feeling the blood in his hands, he barked out, "GET THE QUEEN AND HER BROTHER, AND TAK TO MEDICAL BAY AT ONCE." Seeing the medical crew come out of no where, he leaned down to kiss Gaz on the lips. "I love you, little Gaz."
Walking over to a very healthy looking Jack, Zim lifted him up in his arms. "Don't worry, we'll take care of your parents for you." Smiling at Jack's sweet action of cuddling closer to him, he glanced at Psyllic on the ground. "Get him to cell 4 so I can talk to him at a later date. Guards must be posted there at all times."
Gaz woke up happily realizing she was in her own bedroom. It felt good to be there finally. Turning her head to Zim's side of the bed, she saw him laying there with his eyes open gazing at her. Smiling at him, she reached out to touch his face. "I missed you."
Scooting over, he kissed her on the lips. "Missed you too."
"How long have I been out?" Gaz continued touching him just happy with the physical contact.
"A couple of days. That was amazing what you did."
Rolling her eyes, she almost laughed. "That planet was crazy. I had to feed off of it to come back."
"Your brother and Jack are fine. Tak isn't." Eyes downturned, he didn't know how to say anything right now. "Dib has been by her side. Tak's pak is badly damaged to the point it will be difficult to repair and also the other damage he inflicted isn't helping."
Sitting up, Gaz had to get dressed into something less... "Interesting thing to put me in, Zim." It was all see through. Making a face at his innocent expression, she didn't know whether she wanted to kiss him or hit him for that so she chose to ignore it and went to the closet to pick something simple to wear. After she was done, she turned to Zim. "Take me to him.
"I have to warn you, Gaz it isn't a good prognosis for her." Zim explained coming by her side to take her hand.
"Dib needs me." Squeezing his hand, he guided her along to the infirmary where she was held.
One more chapter left of this part of the series. I honestly didn't want to end up with something more than 50 chapters. It drives me insane.
