Characters may seem a little different with the influence of Oc's so they won't be exactly the same, but I try and keep there personality.

Depending on the final pairing will determine the shipping pairing.

Here's the story!

Ch. 5

The Calm before the Storm

Locker Room

"Come on Nora, lets go." Ren said as he shut his locker and walked away from it.

"But not together together…" Nora said quickly giggling, but if you were listening carefully you could hear a depressed undertone, but it was so low you would never notice it with her excitable nature,

Ruby was rummaging around her locker when she heard Nora's excitement and turned around watching them walk by wondering what has them psyched up… well. Nora anyways.

"I wonder what those two are so worked up about?" Ruby asking no one, unintentionally bringing Yang and the trio of female Faunas out of their conversation.

Yang looked at Ruby for a second and raised a single brow, "Oh who knows?"

She crossed her arms under her chest, "So! You seem awfully chipper this morning ." pointing out her obvious cheeriness.

Ruby's giddiness proved to be to much as she let out a small, very cute giggle. Yang stood there trying to figure out why she seemed giddy or more accurately, relieved.

Ruby finished her rummaging when she found her Crescent Rose. She turned and looke at Yang with a grin.

"Yep, no more awkward small talk, getting to know you stuff or embarrassing topics, like my crush on a certain fox…" Ruby explained, mumbling the last part to her self with a slight blush. She shook those thoughts out of her head… though Yang noticed the blush but held her tongue and let her continue.

"Today I let my sweetheart do all the talking." Ruby caressed her collapsible scythe/sniper and rubbed her cheek against with a loving sigh.

Yang rolled her eyes with her arms still caressed, "Remember Ruby, you're not the only one going through initiation… If you want to grow up you're going to have to meet new people and learn to work together." Yang lectured in her 'Big Sister' voice dubbed by Ruby.

Ruby groaned in annoyance, "You sound like Dad." She swung her scythe to her back clipping it to her waist.

"First of all…"

Ladon walked up to Yang at this point. Ladon glanced at Yang with a curious gaze that said 'What's with her?' Yang responded with a look that said 'listen and find out.'

Ladon shrugged and looked at Gaia with the same look he gave Yang. They shook their heads in an 'I don't know' manner.

"What does meeting people have to do with fighting?" she vented, "Second of all… I don't need people to help me grow up. I. Drink. Milk." Cue face faults as she finished with her arms crossed in a remarkably cute way.

The only one unaffected was Nymph, "I tell Ladon the same thing!" She declared happily, "but I like meeting new people anyways." She smiled widely.

Ladon took that as his cue to speak, "Aside from little sister's claims… Yang is right. You have to meet people and learn to co-operate with them even if you might not like the person you're teamed with." Ladon explained to the ever stubborn Ruby.

Gaia nodded, Desiree just gave off a lazy indifference, but you could tell she was also agreeing with them and Nymph was being Nymph as in she was off in her own world not really paying attention to the present conversation, since it didn't directly involve her.

Ruby was unconvinced, Yang was going to say something but was stopped by a hand from Gaia, Yang eyed Gaia inquisitively.

"Let me ask you this Ruby," she said deadly seriously with an equally serious appearance.

"Do you really want to risk the lives of those you talked about; such as the weak or the unprotected… your sister?" She questioned as her eyes widened at her mistake.

'She's right, what if I can't…what if she, but she can't… I-I…' Ladon saw that she began to falter, but he wanted to make sure she got it through her head.

"Yes, what if Yang died because you refused to grow up and work with different people because you chose to act like a damn child. How would you live with the fact that your sisters blood was on you hand because of your own childish notions Ruby?" he said in a harshest tone Ruby ever heard. That may not mean much but the whole point is it was very harsh from how he usually speaks to her.

Yang was shocked by how harsh Ladon sounded and she didn't like it one bit, her eyes started to switch back and forth between lilac and red.

She would have yelled at him and forced him to say sorry to her but a small flash of regret that made its way across his face and through his eyes kept her from doing so. Her eyes went back to her calm lilac eyes. Even though it pissed her off it was the only way for her to understand being as stubborn as she is.

To say Ruby was stunned would be an understatement… she was completely and utterly speechless. The cold tone he used was frightening… she didn't know what to say so she looked to Yang for help, but she just looked away sadly.

She looked back a Ladon, hoping to see his bright lavender eyes she enjoyed so much, but only met an icy set of blue eyes?

'Did his eyes change colors?'

It didn't matter the color, all she saw was disappointment in his eyes.

Maybe… maybe she was wrong to come to Beacon, maybe she wasn't ready for Beacon… Weiss was right she is just a child who snuck in to Beacon and she didn't deserve to be here.

The worst part it wasn't her crush calling her a child who wasn't ready, but her own sister didn't dispute his claim and that hurt… a lot, more then a blade piercing her heart. Her tears welled up as the realization struck her.

Ladon saw her tears build up and as much as it hurt saying what he said to her, he would not take them back. She needed, no she had to learn this, so she didn't endanger anyone's life… especially hers. There is only so much someone can handle on their own till they need help before they get overwhelmed.

"Come on lets leave Ruby to reflect on herself." Ladon said neutrally as he walked off, not really caring if anyone came with him.

"You were extremely harsh, won't that break her?" Blake asked concerned about Ruby and her reaction.

"It might… but I have faith that Ruby will be fine and she'll be much better for it even if…" He trailed off with an exasperated sigh.

"Even if what?" she pressed grabbing his wrist, stopping him wanting him to finish his sentence.

"Even if I have to make her despise me to get my point across." He finished with a regretful expression pulling his wrist out her grasp to continue walking away.

"I doubt that… my little sister has a big heart as well as understanding even if she is a stubborn cookie. It helps she has a major soft spot for you… if you didn't know already." Yang assured confidently startling everyone even Ladon acting like his older sister even if she is younger.

"You heard me?" he said in incredulity, Yang nodded with a cheeky smile.

"You know… for someone who is not a Faunas you have excellent hearing… it's strange." Gaia spoke intrigued by her hearing capabilities.

"Do I now?" she spoke innocently, almost too innocently, but Gaia could call her on it because Nymph decided to point out something that peaked her curiosity.

"Where's Ruby? I don't see her with you."

Yang waved off her curiosity, "Oh don't worry about her, she's taking Foxy's and Gaia's advice and thinking it over, so, she asked me to leave her alone a bit."

Ladon sighed in relief that he wouldn't have to go with a more… risky plan, but also relieved she won't hold it against him.

Before their conversation could evolve further a loud shout of 'ridiculous' resounded through out the locker room.

Blake's head snapped, along with everyone else, towards Juane who had a lost expression on his face looking at his paper, then everyone else, as if he was looking for something… obviously his locker.

"He seems… troubled." Desiree said finally after her long period of silence. They watched him walk past several lockers, until Ladon saw a head of white, but that wasn't what caught his attention, it's was who was right next to her that truly caught his attention was a familiar mop of red hair.

"Pyrrah?" he said unsurely to himself but the twitch of a bow caught it as well, Blake's eye twitched another female he knows.

"Ryu how many girls do you know…?" She asked through gritted teeth, unfortunately, it fell on deaf ears as Ladon ran over to her.

"It is you! Pyrrah how you been?" Pyrrah looked away noticing Weiss was in her little world with a devious look on her face and looked towards the origin of the voice.

When she saw who it was her eyes widened and brightened with happiness as she ran to meet him halfway.

"Ladon!" she yelled snapping Weiss from her own world, she was surprised at her unprofessionalism. Her eyes widened when it was with the Faunus from last night.

"I've been great! It's been how long since I've seen you?" Pyrrah asked as she hugged Ladon and he hugged back. He moved her back a little while still holding her in a loose hug.

"It's been six months, you have no idea how much I missed you." He said fondly pulling her back in to a hug.

"I missed you as well." Pyrrah replied with her head in the crook of his neck.

"Ehem." Blake and Weiss did this at the same time, twitching eyebrow and a look of disbelief, respectively.

"I'm sorry/My bad." Pyrrah and Ladon respectively

"I demand you tell me how you know her!" Weiss demanded as she jammed her finger in Ladon's chest, but this had the effect of her feeling his pecks.

"Oh…" she uttered silently, running her hands across his chest and abs feeling him up.

'Om my god… they're rock hard.' Weiss thought as her eyes glazed over and a red hue dusted her cheeks.

"Um… Weiss?" Ladon asked with mirth in his eyes.

"Mhm… Yes?" she said absent-mindedly running her hands across his torso, Blake's eye fi possible began to twitch rapidly with a tick mark because of Weiss's obvious ministrations.

"Ever heard of look, but don't touch policy?" he smirked as her eyes came in to focus.

"Huh, what do you-oh god…" Her eyes blinked before widening her eyes and her face turned tomato red, jumping back.

"I-uh um-uh you see-um…" She stumbled over her words trying to form a coherent excuse, trying being the operative word here.

"Yeah, uh-huh, sure Weiss." Yang said, her teasing nature kicking in.

"I was just-uh" she tried to defend her.

"Just feeling up Foxy weren't you." Yang questioned teasingly but it sounded more like a fact.

"I-I was n-not…" she stuttered with her blush still very prominent.

Yang raised a single delicate brow, "So you weren't just running your hands all over Foxy right now?" a teasing smile was plastered on her face.

Weiss couldn't speak, she was to embarrassed to say anything. Ladon figured he should save her from being further teased by Yang.

"I think that's enough Yang." He said giving her a pointed look

She sighed, bet kept her smirk. Ladon knew she wasn't done with her.

"Fine."

"Now I met Pyrrah when she was training for her first regional tournament…"

"…He stumbled upon my personal training ground in the plains a distance from Sanctum Academy." Pyrrah finished for him.

"I saw her practicing with her javelin and shield. I noticed that the style she used was not taking very effective for her so I approached her…"

Flashback-4 Years Ago

In the planes of Mistral, stood two people; a red girl and lavender boy, Pyrrah and Ladon. Pyrrah was panting heavily from her previous training regimen. She would have continued but, she was interrupted by the lavender boy.

"You adapted to that style rather well, very impressive, but it looks like your exerting yourself too much using the stance, but was your trainer blind or something you're a girl that style is made for guys."

She jumped in shock before settling in to a battle stance. "Who ever you are please retreat, I do not wish to harm you." She said warningly, secretly hoping he would back off, she's too tired to put up real fight after her recent training.

"Woah! Relax there jumpy. I mean no harm." He placated with his hands in a surrendering gesture. Pyrrah looked at him for a few moments, judging if he's lying or not. When she felt no ill intent she slowly put her weapon back to the side, but with in reach just in case he tricked her.

'That's a start… it would be bad if she attacked, for her anyway.' He thought amusedly, he brought his hands down to his side. Pyrrah tensed up but relaxed when he didn't grab for anything.

"My name Ladon Lavender Ryu, a visiting Faunas from Atlas for the Mistral Regional. It's pleasure to meet you miss…" He greeted with his hand up for a handshake.

She hesitated for a second before grabbing his hand and shaking it. "Nikos, Pyrrah Nikos, Mistral Regional participant and please just call me Pyrrah formalities are how do you say… dull?" She gave a small smile and relaxed at his polite and courteous nature, but gained a confused expression.

"Are you participating in the regional and what do you mean wrong style?" she questioned, not really sure what he means by wrong style.

This style is the one her Trainer taught her and she's been doing it for a while… but then again she always felt off when doing the style. She always pushed it aside and thought she just doing it wrong so she kept training and practicing to get it right, but she could never get it right and every time it finally felt correct her trainer would correct it and say she was doing it wrong. She brought it up with him a few times and he shot her down saying that he is the trainer and she is the student and as such she should listen to him.

"No I'm not participating in the Regional; it would simply be a cake walk for me no real challenge. As for your other question the style you have is wrong it made for a more masculine figure and not the female form. Lucky for you, it's not much different a few tweaks to the stance and you should be able to feel the difference." He saw her look of doubt, but there was slight belief in it as well.

"Alright, fine. Want me to prove it? Let's spar then." He suggested gripping Python's(His Katana) handle in his right hand and pulling it out facing the tip of the blade to the ground with his open hand in a single seal.

"Alright, lets see if your right." She said getting in to a low crouch with her Javelin in her right hand pointing forward and shield in the left covering her torso.

"Ready?" she asked him, her grip tightening on her Javelin.

"Yes, let us begin!"

He charged crossing the gap between them faster then her eyes could track he rammed his shoulder in to her shield making her stumble. He sent a twist kick to knock her back, but she was able to recover in time blocking the kick, which made no difference as she didn't anticipate his natural strength which sent her back skidding digging trenches in the dirt.

"That block may have worked against a female, I am a male we're naturally stronger then them. If you would have dodged instead of block you could have incapacitated my leg and kept me from moving or used that to your advantage and knock me down." He explained.

He charged at her again with an upwards slash, instead of blocking like last time she used her natural flexibility as a female and sidestepped while deflecting his slash before spinning on the balls of her heal sending an elbow at his abdomen.

He would not be hit so easily, as he grabbed her elbow pulling her in pinning it to her back bringing up Python to her neck with the blunt side.

"Hmm… much better Pyrrah. Using your natural flexibility is how the appropriate style for you works." He said in to her ear.

That's when he noticed she was as red as her hair, making him raise brow. Completely oblivious to their intimate position as he was used to these kind of things. He has a girlfriend after all.

"Um… Yeah can you let me go you're hurting me and I'm… uncomfortable." She said calmly but it was ruined by the blush on her cheeks.

'His muscles are strong and solid probably from the years of training he's obviously been through'

Ladon looked at her questionally for a moment, before actually observing their position, Ladon was standing directly behind her with Pyrrah's back melding in to his chest. His arm was around her chest area with his head next to her with his mouth by her ear. Compromising position indeed.

"Oh my bad." He said hollowly, it didn't really bother him as he has a girlfriend and is used to doing these things and he's not really cheating if he's just holding her in compromising position, it was a spar after all.

"Is that all? A 'my bad' not an Apology and you're still holding me." Irritation as clear as crystal in her voice.

'Although, I really don't mind… It's quite comfortable.'

"Okay, anyways you were a lot better then I expected. You adapted quite fast." He let her go while she panted tired from the excess use of the style and adaption.

"But I see you have not fully adapted to the slight difference making you tire out much quicker. Let's take a 10 minute break and I'll help you tweak you stance instead of trying to do that during battle."

She quickly agreed, nodding and falling on her bum with her shield and javelin discarded to the sides.

They used the ten minutes to get to know each other such as; likes/dislikes/hobbies etc. Shared a bit of small talk with some giggles and laughter.

"Alright stand up so I can fix your stance." She nodded getting in her stance, he started adjusting various parts of her body to get her in a more comfortable position.

"How do you know so much about javelin stances? You use a Katana." Curiosity surrounded her voice, not too positive about letting him change her stance.

"Easy… now loosen your grip on the Javelin" she did what she was told, noticing the style was starting to feel more comfortable.

"I know so much, because it's one of the styles I learned…"He told as if wasn't a big deal he knew more then one style as he adjusted her stance more.

Pyrrah's eyes widened, learning one style is difficult and she was considered a prodigy in her style, but learning more then one! That's insane he must be an even bigger prodigy then herself!

"How many do you know?" she begged him anxiously.

Ladon chuckled at her reaction, "I know three, but I favor my katana over the other styles it's the most versatile." He explained as he made the last adjustment to her waist making her blush a little.

"There… now it should be comfortable for you and you wont be unbalanced to do your... assets." She nodded he was right she was way more comfortable yet still able to move accordingly. Though she blushed as the last part registered in her mind.

"Oh relax you, it's completely professional. I'm off the market anyways."

Pyrrah was disappointed, 'Who ever that girl is, is really lucky to have someone as handsome and skilled as him. I might as well enjoy the moment while I still can'

Aside from being physically attractive, it was his skill that she was extremely attracted to.

"Alright!" she was snapped from her inner musings and was now focusing on Ladon.

"Now that you're in a proper stance we can spar again and trust me you'll feel a difference in your movements and strikes."

"I already feel it. I'm ready to spar."

He nodded "Good"

"Begin!/Go!" They shouted in unison and excitement.

Ladon's eyes turn white surging ice through his katana, Pyrrah's eyes widened at the immediate use of dust and that his eyes turned white.

Ladon slashed horizontally sending a crescent wave of ice at her at her. Pyrrah thinking quickly slammed her Javelin in the ground and vaulting over the attack fand making her flip in the air.

Her javelin switched into short sword form and fell down with a down ward slash with her shield in front of her. Ladon smirked before spinning around her grabbing her arm and throwing her to the ground.

"oof" she landed on her back before rolling out of the way Ladon's sword piercing the ground where she was and she took advantage of that. Throwing her shield Ladon flipped up pulling his sword out with him before landing on the shield, his eyes turned gray activating movement dust and vanishing and reappearing behind Pyrrah with a kick slamming into her side launching her away.

His eyes changed again, but electric blue this time and blasting a small bolt at Pyrrah's body. When she finally caught her self and landed she saw the bolt and pulled her shield back as fast as possible intercepting the bolt as she caught she slammed her shield into the dirt redirecting the bolt.

Reacting on instinct, she pulled her sword out deflecting Ladon's slash before spinning and send a kick to his chest knocking him back and making him stumble.

He she pressed her advantage and started slashing at him from all angles, putting him on the offensive before she slammed his shield in to his sword knocking it out of his hand.

She smirked victoriously, "I win you lost your weapon"

He smirked and spoke, "Who is to say I need a weapon?"

Her smirk disappeared wondering what he meant, but couldn't ponder on it anymore because his arms bursted with electricity grabbing her weapon send a huge electricity in it cause her to remove her hand.

Ladon struck her in the arms and legs with four quick jabs paralyzing her in the process before spinning her short sword around and placing the tip at her neck.

Ladon smirked smugly, "I'm still leagues ahead of you, but good job none the less you manage to hit me. That's a feat in itself. With that you should be able to mop the floor with anyone at the tournament." He smiled warmly stopping the flow of electricity in her body and holding his hand out for her to grab.

She glared at him then smiled warmly and accepted his hand, "Thanks, that's the best spar I had in forever."

She glared glared again and punched him, "Why the hell would you use your dust abilities? I could have died!" she shouted

"Your alive right? Plus, enemies will not tell you 'Hey I'm going to use my abilities now' no, it doesn't work that way you have to be ready for anything." He lectured amused by her outburst.

She tried to glare, but it wasn't happening, he had a point, " Your right…" She sighed.

"But still you could have warned me."

Ladon nodded, "Maybe next time."

She began languidly stretching, unintentionally drawing Ladon's attention. She was unaware of this effect mind you.

Pyrrah popped her bones, Ladon doing the same

"You know Pyrrah…" Drawing the young red haired warrior's attention.

"What?"

"This may seem out of the blue, but if I was single right now I would totally take you on a date right now." He said uncaringly honest, she was beautiful and an amazing fight what Is not to love about the Amazonian warrior.

She blushed and smirked, "If you were single I would probably say yes."

Ladon recoiled a bit and smiled, "Probably?"

"Did I say that?" she said coyly

He laughs, "Fair enough." She smiled at him as well.

Ladon looked to the sky, noticing it was getting dark.

"Sorry Pyrrah, I got to go, Blake is going to be worried if I don't make it to camp by nightfall and a worried Blake is a scary Blake." He shuddered, remembering the last time he was late. He's had a phobia of frying pans ever since.

Pyrrah giggled seeing him shiver at the thought of his girlfriend.

"Later Pyrrah!" He said, he didn't get a chance to take off as Pyrrah called him one last time.

"Wait! Can you show up here tomorrow as well and be my sparring partner to help me get ready for the Mistral Regional Tournament. I actually feel like I can get better under your guidance. I know we just met and you have no real reason to help me but can you?" she pleaded with hope filled eyes.

Ladon stooped, weighing the pros and cons of such an action. In the end he shrugged, "What the hell! It could be fun. I'll be in Mistral for a while to watch the tournament. I could definitely use the work out."

In Pyrrah's mind there was a chibi Pyrrah marching around with her hand in a 'v' for victory with a sign that said 'I'm going to win'

A beautiful smile made its way to her face, "Thank you Ryu-Sensei!" She shouted happily before taking off home.

'Ryu-sensei? I could get used to that.' He thought then took off before it got any later. He did not want to make Blake worry again.

FlashBack End

"After that he came everyday to help me out till the Regional, which I won with flying colors thanks to his help. Though before he left, he gave me his number to his dust phone, in case I ever needed his help again." She explained.

Ladon shook his head, "She called before every single on of her tournaments since then… There was never a Hey how are you? Want to grab a cup of tea and catch up? But no… it was always Help me train! She's lucky I took a heavy liking to her red hair." He exasperated in faux annoyance.

"Oh shut up… be lucky I even called you." Pyrrah punched his arm playfully.

"Still not as hard as Yang's punches…"

Yang repeated Pyrrah's action.

"Ow! What was that for?" He yelped rubbing is arm.

"Because I wanted to." She said playfully with an equally playful smug smile.

During the entire story no one saw Blake's hair began to shadow her eyes, she was annoyed that he nonchalantly flirted with Pyrrah when they were together and he didn't tell her, albeit it was playful teasing that most likely met nothing, but still it's the principal of it.

Nymph looked towards Blake and saw her shaking with fist clenched.

"Blakey you okay?" she asked garnering Gaia's attention.

"Yeah are you okay?" Blakes face went back to her usual neutral expression.

"I'm fine Gaia, I'm fine" She said almost convincingly, almost and Gaia saw right through it.

She looked at Blake, then checked what everyone else was doing.

It would seem Juane finally joined them and started to flirt with Weiss and about fail miserably.

"You know what's great? Me, Jaune Arc, nice to meetch'ya." Gaia couldn't help but deadpan at his lame attempt to woo Weiss.

'He's desperate' she thought looking over to Nymph who decide to listen to her Dust Pod and zone out.

Her gaze shifted to Odissia, she was sitting down with a smirk on her face, presumably from watching Jaune make a fool of himself in front of Weiss, when it obvious she's not interested.

Yang was giggling like a mad women with Ladon at Jaunes failed attempts and Weiss's obvious annoyance.

Pyrrah elbowed him in the side to stop him.

"Ow…" He gave Pyrrah a faux glare, she rolled her eyes as Yang laughed at Ladon's play and their by-play.

"Be nice…" She chided him.

"Fine, fine… but you got to admit this is pretty funny." Pyrrah didn't reply, but her smile was all the answer he needed.

Gaia looked back at Blake, "Come with me, I can tell something is up." She spoke in a motherly tone dragging her away to some where private… she didn't get a chance to object.

"You again?" Weiss stated obviously irritated… can he not take a hint? She's not interested.

Pyrrak pitied the boy, he obviously has low self-confidence. Pyrrah being her friendly and helpful self decide to introduce herself.

She walked up to him, "Nice to meet you Jaune-"

"Yeah, yeah…" He brushed her aside, focusing only on Weiss. Pyrrah who wasn't really bothered just shrugged it off.

Yang snickered Ladon doing the same, not at Jaune this time, but they was laughing at Pyrrah.

"He totally brushed you off…" she said snickering with Ladon even with Pyrrah glaring at them they just snickered more.

"Quiet you two." Ladon chuckled while Yang giggled she would have said something to her but it seems Jaune said something to Weiss that caught Pyrrah's attention.

"So I been hearing rumors about te~ams. I was thinking we would make a good one. What'd you say?" In what Juane thought was a smooth manner, which is a very bad guess.

To prove the point further, Weiss crossed her arms and looked away unimpressed.

Pyrrah chose to put her own two lien on the matter. "Actually, I heard that each team is comprised of four students each."

Jaune noticed she was paying attention to him and quickly switched targets, "You don't say. How are you doing hot stuff…?"

Ladon facepalmed, Yang stared at him blankly, Desiree didn't really care but there was an air of disbelief around her and Nymph was still not listening to the conversation.

"That was just lame…" Ladon and Yang deadpanned and Desiree lazily nodded.

"…maybe if you play your cards right you can join the winning team." He said overconfidently. Weiss couldn't take it anymore and moved in between Pyrrah and Jaune and pushed them away from each other with her hands on their chest.

"Jaune is it? Do you have any idea who you're talking to?" Weiss asked annoyed with him trying to recruit someone out oh his league, according to Weiss.

"Not in the slightest Snow Angel…" He leaned in not really paying attention to Weiss.

"This…" waving her hand towards the Amazon Warrior, "…is Pyrrah."

Pyrrah waved with a smile, "Hello again."

Weiss continued, "Pyrrah graduated at the top of her class in Sanctum."

"Never heard of it…" Jaune shrugged cluelessly.

Weiss groaned, "She won the Mistral Region Tournament four years in a row…"

Ladon walked up behind Pyrrah and threw an arm around her neck pulling her into a side hug; Pyrrah blushed at the close contact, "With my help of course! Plus, she set the new four year record under tutelage." He bragged, Pyrrah shook her head at his 'humbleness' and Weiss nodded at his last comment.

Jaune's intelligent response was, "The what…?" Everyone facepalmed.

The only exceptions were Pyrrah and Weiss. Pyrrah was forcing herself not to facepalm and keep a smile. Unfortunately, Weiss did not have the same control, she flailed her arms releasing her frustrations.

"She's on the front of every Pumpkin Pete's Marshmallow Flake box!"

His brain clicked and he gasped, "That's you!? They only do that for star athletes and cartoon characters." He said awe-struck pointing at Pyrrah.

Yang and Ladon looked at looked at him incredulously, "Really that's how you recognize some as hot as Pyrrah?" Yang asked stupefied, Ladon nodded at her comment equally stupefied by Jaune.

Pyrrah's face was red at Yang's comment, Jaune was oblivious since he was still startstruck.

When her blush calmed down, she spoke "Yeah it was pretty cool… sadly, the cereal isn't very good for you."

"So after hearing all this, do you really think your in position to ask her to be on your team?" She asked condescendingly.

Juane looked down with his arms to the side in a defeated manner. Nymph walked up and hugged him, her head reaching his chest.

"Cheer up Jaune! I think you would make a great Leader." She said with a beaming smile.

Everyone nodded, except for Weiss, "Oh… stop." He was embarrassed by the votes of confidence.

"Please, stop it. This kind of beha-"

"No Weiss! You stop it!" Nymph yelled at her angrily surprising everyone present.

Yang especially was surprised, "I didn't think someone so cute could be angry, she always so… bubbly." Yang said to Odissia who nodded, surprised as well.

"You're nothing but a judgmental meanie!" She pointed at her, Weiss couldn't respond she was to shocked that she was being talked down by a girl who was a year younger.

"Ever since we met you all I've seen you do is talk down to people and be mean to them and-" Ladon decided to interject, "Weren't you at laughing them every single time?"

Nymph went red, "SHUT UP LAVENDER!" she shouted at him and he decided it would be best if he backed off. Yang and Pyrrah couldn't help but laugh at him. He shrugged, not really caring but glared at them anyway.

Nymph continued, " Anyways, you don't know if Pyrrah would mind having being led by Jaune of if Jaune would make a bad leader." She huffed and walked away to sit next Odissia her since she finished her piece.

"She's right you know, I wouldn't mind being led by Jaune. I think he would make a great Leader and or teammate." Pyrrah voiced her position.

Her final comment snapped him from his surprised demeanor; he didn't expect anyone to defend him like they did, this had the effect of making him go back into his overconfident persona.

"It seems like Pyrrah and Nymph are on board for Team Jaune, spots are filling up quick. Now I'm not supposed to do this, but maybe I can pull some strings find a place for you what do you say?" He said as he began to lean in uncomfortably close to Weiss.

The people in the vicinity sweatdropped at his huge shift even Nymph had one and thought, 'Maybe defending him was a bad idea…nope! Weiss needed to be yelled at. Oh… I like this song!'

"A-alright that's a bit to close, Pyrrah…" She looked at her, "a little help here please." She pleaded before looking back to Jaune.

In the blink of an eye Pyrrah's Javelin was sent soaring through the air in to the tuff of Jaunes shoulder pad, pinning him to some random locker.

"Sorry!" she shouted, genuinely even though he deserved it, you don't invade a girl's personal space and not pay for it.

This is the scene Ruby, Gaia and Blake walked in on, "Why is Jaune pinned to a locker by that red headed girl's super cool javelin?" Ruby asked Yang after walking and standing next to her.

"Speaking of which, who is the red headed girl? I love her choice in colors." Ruby added as an afterthought.

"Her name is Pyrrah and as to why he's pinned, because he doesn't know the meaning of personal space." She said attempting to hold in her laughter.

"Oh that makes sense." Ruby stated simply.

"Pyrrah?" she looked from the still pinned Jaune

To the owner of the voice, Ladon.

"Yes?"

"As hilarious as it was don't you think that was bit much?" He said keeping his chuckles under control.

Pyrrah looked at him blankly, he sighed, "You're right… You're someone who respects a person's space in which you expect the same courteousy." He grinned appearing next her with an arm on her shoulder leaning on it.

"Except for me." Pyrrah shrugged him off with a smile, causing him to lose balance for moment before he regained his footing.

Pyrrah began to walk away to retrieve her weapon with Ladon joining her side, "You're right…"

He smiled cheekily, "I knew you loved me."

They stopped where Jaune was pinned, "Again, I'm sorry." She said pulling out and walking away with Ladon and Weiss deciding to follow after some debate.

She looked at Ladon with a too innocent smile, "You are right again, I do love you that's why I have no problem causing you bodily harm." She said with an equally innocent tone.

His grin disappeared for a moment, before returning, "maybe…"

She looked at him questioningly, "If you could catch me!" He poked her nose making her stumble as he took off.

"Why you…" she didn't finish as she chased after him.

"Those two act like they're brother and sister." Yang said with an amused smile gracing her face. Ruby smiled fondly at the interactions.

Weiss could not believe her eyes, Pyrrah was acting like a child someone of her standing should not be acting like that.

She didn't get a chance to say anything hearing a shout from the other side of the room and a metal thud, "You ingrate you dare insult my suit, when you yourself wearing something hideous and unbecoming you fiend! I will enjoy mopping the floor with your blood."

"The hell? What kind of crazed bastard!" Odissa surprised from the blatant death threat.

Everyone rushed to the scene to see what was happening. When they got there they saw a guy wearing a stylish top hat and a cane axe in hand.

Opposite from him was another guy, he was wearing a chest plate with some kind of bird design on it, his weapon discarded several feet away from him. Of course the guy paid no mind to it, he was crawling backwards away, scared of the top hat guy who threatened to kill him.

The Top Hat man approached the scared form of his soon-to-be victim with a crazed smile and an even more crazed gleam in his eyes. He wasn't able to approach any further because a flash of Turquoise hair moved in front of him stopping his movements.

"Hatter you crazy bastard, stop already!" A very feminine voice obviously annoyed by an unjust attack,

'It was a damn insult! It doesn't require bloodshed.'

"He'll be punished for his insolence and insulting my most fabulous art!" he shouted, disgust leaking from his voice with every word.

"You know my rules you are not allowed to harm any one who's defenseless much less kill them." She stood defiantly and unwavering.

"I suggest you stand aside little girl and let me exact my wrath." Her temper flared with hand hovering over her unseen weapon hidden in her jacket.

"Shouldn't we stop them or something?" Ruby asked the pink haired women next to her.

She shook her head, "Too much work, let someone else handle it." Runy sweat dropped at her callous dismiss of the situation.

She shouldn't be surprised… she seems like the type if it doesn't have to do with her family or personally she doesn't give a damn about what happens.

Ruby was snapped out of her thoughts by another voice, this sounded more masculine and carefree.

"Emily, Hatter as much as I would be entertained to see you beat the crap out of that kid, I would much rather not get on Ozpin's bad side by telling him you two destroyed his locker room and killed a possible student. So you two need to calm down."

"Minaka-"

She was cut off by the voice of Glynda Goodwitch, "Would all first year students please report to Beacon Cliffs for initiation, again all first year students report to Beacon Cliffs immediately."

"Come you two, Zero already left." Minaka said as he walked a way with a wave. Emily followed Minaka and hatter following in suit grumbling something about 'Not punishing the unfabulous'

Emily rolled her eyes, "In case you didn't notice Hatter, that boy you threatened pissed him self in fear."

"Oh?" hatter looked back and noticed he did in fact 'piss' himself. "That would sate me only this once, but next time I'll make fabulous art from his blood." He said as if he was talking about the weather made the comment only that much more menacing.

"An interesting trio don't you think?" Gaia asked the group around her, Odissia, Yang, Nymph, Ruby, Blake and Weiss all nodded.

"Interesting? The only interesting one is that Emily girl. The last one sounds like a slacker… The guy with a top hat is a psychopath he should join his kind in the White Fang." Weiss said loudly, Blake bristled in annoyance while the others hook their heads except Nymph who decide to listen to music.

"Well lets pick up Jaune before Weiss's say something she'll regret and Blake kills her." Odissia said nonchalantly.

Weiss was flabbergasted at the pink haired girls comment, not knowing what she meant.

"Where's Ladon and Pyrrah?" Ruby was the one to speak question on everyone's mind..

"Those two ran off and we never saw them again." Yang said as a teasing smile formed on her face. "Maybe they're doing something private…"

Ruby and Weiss went tomato red, Blake remained impassive but you could tell the implication ticked her off, "He/She wouldn't do that!" they yelled together in embarrassment.

"Oh ho ho, is there something you two aren't telling us, like a certain attraction to a certain fox?" Yang teased causing Ruby and Weiss to blush even redder!

"I-I do-on't know what your talking ab-about. I'm just saying Pyrrah doesn't seem like the type to open up so easily." Weiss stuttered before recovering.

"He's cute, b-but I don't think he would do something like that before our initiation." Ruby stuttered less getting used to all the teasing.

"Whatever you two…" Finally arriving where Jaune is and surprisingly he's just sitting there.

"Hey there Lady Killer, still here?"

Jaune nodded, "Yeah…"

Ruby crouched picking up Jaune, "Come on Jaune we got to get to the cliffs." Again he nodded.

"He's definitely… unique?" Odissia said unsurely.

"Yeah, Donnie and Pyrrah are probably at the cliffs already. We should go meet up with them." Nymph said after taking off her headphones.

"Lets go then we're going to be late"

AN: There's the next chapter.

My fight scenes are petty I know, but I will try and improve them in the next chapter and make them long and I'm no expert in combat style so I kind of just came up with something. Don't judge I'm a starting writer.

OC's are still being accepted, I really need your help people more submissions means an easier work load and faster paced chapters and no more drama crap in the story and more fight scenes.

CactusMeister has submitted two OC squads I like to thank him again he's been an extreme help in creating OC's and coming up with ideas.

Now that we're finally in the Emerald Forest expect things to start to pick up and learn a little about Remnants Origins in this next arc it will have some added story about Remnant so expect a longer visit to Emerald Forest.
