Chapter 12- Little sisters in the Han Dynasty
At Time Tower
In the bright blue corridors of Time Tower, Diamond Time was seen walking through the halls with two lattes in her hands. The loyal servants of the twins were also in the large tower; cleaning, sweeping, and washing the ceiling. But Diamond heeds no attention to them; she was focused on getting to the Monitor Room.
The Monitor Room is the secured place in the tower that only specific people are allowed in. It monitors the flow of the mortal time stream and makes sure that the timelines are in organized properly. Meaning, if a certain event was to change time, then the timeline will be out of whack and the tower would collapse. Not only will the tower collapse, but the entire mortal and immortal universe would be in a total standstill, time would freeze.
Princess Diamond arrived in front of the room doors; two guards stood outsides the doors and bowed to the princess before moving to the side in order to allow her access inside. Once she was inside the chamber, she was greeted by the melodic sound of the interments of time. Diamond glanced around the room till she saw another figure in the room. Her twin brother, Deamond Time.
Deamond sat in a chair towards the control panel. The blunette had his eyes gazed on the millions screens around the room, but the screens he was viewing is the Han Dynasty ones. He and his sister have been watching the royal princesses from time to time, and were relieved that the ancient warlords are not suspicious of them. If they were then they had to think of something to keep their profile low.
Deamond sensed the presence of his counterpart standing beside him, but he didn't bother to say anything to her.
"How are the girls doing?" Diamond inquired he brother.
Deamond took a latte out of her hand, his eyes not leaving the screen in front of him.
"They're doing fine." He answered, taking a sip out of his latte.
"Really, no one has suspected them yet?"
"Do you want them to, Diamond?"
"I was only asking, brother." She drank her latte before looking at the screen. "I suspect that Topaz is in battle right now."
"She's at Jing Providence."
"I thought so. And I presume that Daisy is in Beiping with the sworn brother, while Thorns is Yan Providence." Deamond took another sip of his coffee.
"Yes, she is assisting Cao Cao in riding out the remaining Yellow Turbans. And it seems Cao Cao has a new bodyguard."
"Dian Wei." Deamond nodded.
There was a natural silence between them, which felt like forever. That was until there was a knock at the doors.
"Yes?" Diamond answered.
"Princess Diamond," one of the guards called. "Princesses Vines, Sapphire, and Tulip are here as requested."
Diamond let a soft sigh out before removing herself from her seat and out the doors of the chamber. When she out of the room, she was caught into a tight bear hug by one of the girls.
"Diamond!" the girl called out.
"Hello Vines." She responded as the girl let her go.
Vines Eternity, the younger sister of Infinity and Thorns Eternity. She's the happy, energetic sister. She has grassy green hair, emerald eyes, and looks like she's 16. She's wearing a green and grey sailor uniform and an emerald ribbon in her hair.
"Vines, I advise you to watch your strength." the other girl said as she adjusted her purple glasses.
Tulip Angel, Rose and Daisy's younger sister. Tulip is the logical sister of the two. Her bright purple hair reached her waist, beautiful purple eyes, and she's the same age as Vines. Tulip is wearing long purple pants and a white blouse.
"Diamond, I see you look attractive as usual." The girl in blue says.
This is Sapphire Demon, the young sibling of Onyx and Topaz. Sapphire has deep blue, wavy hair that reached her back, pupil-less blue eyes and, mascara on her face. She wore a deep blue dress with black pants, and blue, black high boots.
"Uh…thank you, Sapphire." Diamond replies. "Now, you girls are wondering why I asked you here, correct?"
"I wasn't thinking that, I was thinking about My Little Pony!" Vines giggled.
Everyone rolled their eyes at the comment.
"Okay. I explain everything to you all as we make our way to the museum of China."
"Why a shitty museum?" Sapphire complained.
"Sapphire, language!" Tulip retorted to the Demon girl.
"I don't care about my fucking language."
"Let's get a move on." Diamond says as she summoned a vortex in the hallway.
She jumped in first in to the spiral, the younglings followed after her. As they traveled via portal, the Time princess explained the situation to the girls.
2013- Museum of China
The bright blue portal appeared in the Han Dynasty room, where they first traveled to the Han era. Diamond was the first one out and on her feet, Vines was next, then Tulip and Sapphire were last.
"Here we are the Han Era."
"Wow!" Vine squealed.
"So which kingdom are you assigning us to?" Tulip inquired the brown skin girl.
"Well you're not going to be where your sisters are that for sure. You three will be in different kingdoms then your sisters." Diamond explained to them. "Princess Vines, you will be in Shu with Daisy. Sapphire, you're in Wei with Thorns. And Tulip, you'll be in Wu with Topaz."
"Lord, give me strength." Tulip sighs, she doesn't like to be paired with Sapphire's sister.
Knowing Topaz, she can loud and obnoxious when she's around her. Also her sinful language and action will make her uncomfortable.
Diamond stuck her head out the room making sure it was safe, but to her dismay a guard was coming.
"Hurry, get into the portals before the guard comes!" She demanded as the same vortexes from before appeared before them.
The little princesses leaped into their assigned portal, which closed as they entered. When the portals disappeared, Diamond teleported back to Time Tower before could come into the room. As the guard came by the room to see nothing, he walked away to monitor the museum.
Wei army (Yan Providence)
"Alright, who's next in line!" says Dian Wei as he slew away another wave of Yellow Turbans.
Cao Cao and Lady Thorn ran past him into an enemy main camp.
"Remarkable strength, Dian Wei! It is as if the legends of old have come back to the living!" Cao Cao praised.
"Oh, I am no legend, my Lord!"
"But you are fighting like one, I can applaud that." Thorn praised the strong man. "Keep this up and this battle will be ours!"
"Yes, my Lady!"
"I'm Thorns, not my Lady."
"Yes, my la-I mean Thorns."
Once the enemy camp has been captured and the yellow turbans fleeing, Dian Wei went to the other Wei generals to help out. Lord Cao Cao and Thorns stayed in the camp, while the soldiers set up a defensive perimeter. Suddenly, a messenger came to his Lord and gave a report to him.
"I bring news, a giant is wreaking havoc in the village!" the messenger says. "I also have news, that a mysterious warrior is killing our men and the Yellow Turbans."
"Hmm, how bizarre. Dian Wei, head to the village! Thorn, deal with this… mysterious warrior!" the Wei warlord ordered.
"Yes, my Lord!" They said in unison.
The red immortal left the camp and into the direction of the anonymous person. When she reached her destination, she was welcomed by motionless corpses. The corpses were the bodies of both the Yellow Turbans and the Wei soldiers; the bodies were off the ground caused by the thick, blue crystals that appeared out of the earth and into their midsection. Thorns raised a crimson eyebrow as she touches one of the crystals. She could feel the dark energy coming of the crystal, which wasn't a surprise to her because she knew some people who carry dark energy.
"Now, who do I know that is evil and likes the color blue?" She ponders out loud.
"Long time no see, bloody ruby." A voice said behind her. Thorns didn't flinch as she knew who voice that is.
"Sapphire, what are you doing here?" the older girl inquires.
"I'll tell you, as I make my acquaintance with your Lord." Sapphire told her as she walked away with Thorn in tow.
Back with the Wei army
"Why is it that you fight? For you departed Lord?" Cao Cao questions the Turbans.
"Because we want to stay alive!" a rebel says.
"We can't stand to live in this ravaged land anymore!" another cried.
"How can you possibly understand us?"
"Stop it!" Xu Zhu said as he dangled the man upside down. "I know you are suffering inside, but if you take thing from other people they will suffer too!"
"You're right!" Dian Wei says.
Cao Cao laughs.
"The answer was simple all along. The right people in this world are not in the right place. I want you all to set aside your differences and come with me."Cao Cao rides away on his horse. "I will give you what you desire."
He proceeds to ride away from the battlefield, till he caught a gimp of red at the side of his eye. He commanded stallion to stop in its tracks, as the two girls approached him. The King of Wei looked down at Sapphire, taking in her appearance and her odd clothing. But what got his full attention was her deep blue, pupil-less eyes. It was like he was staring into oblivion.
"Lady Thorns, who is this?" Cao Cao questions the princess.
"This mysterious person is Sapphire Nomed." Sapphire narrowed her eyes at Thorns. "She is very powerful despite her age. She also likes women." She whispered the last part to herself.
"I want to join your fucking army." Ruby slapped Sapphire upside her head.
"She has a colorful vocabulary too."
Cao Cao looked over at Sapphire again before thinking of his answer.
"Very well, she's hired." He told them.
Both girls stared at him in shock before he rode off.
"This will be interesting shit." Sapphire says.
Wu army (Jing Providence)
"Ahhhh!" a soldier screams on the battlefield.
"Run! She'll kill us all!" another soldier warns.
The opposing army was fleeing from the battle to avoid being killed, and away from a certain psychopath who was wielding a giant war hammer. If they thought they could get away from the woman's grasp…then they're dead wrong. As the men continued to run, the giant hammer was raised into the air before falling hard on the ground. The ground shook under its massive weight and rose into the sky sending the men flying high in the sky. Within a blink of an eyelash, the sky-high men were impaled in the midsection by thick, tall crystals. Blood rained out of the males to the ground below like a rainforest. The figure below welcomed the crimson liquid with a devilish grin; the blood landed on her clothes, hammer, hair, and teeth. It almost looked as if she was taking a shower in the middle of the battle.
"Mmmm," she licked her lips with pleasure. "I love the taste of mortals in the morning."
As she went on with her bloody pleasure, she sensed a figure standing behind. But, the aroma on this figure was…pure, holy, and sinless. There was only one kind that has this aroma and it was the kind she hates.
"Hello, Angel." She greet with venom in her voice.
"Good evening to you, Topaz." The figure behind her says as she looks up at the dead corpse in the sky. "You know you could spare their lives and not hunt them like game."
"Turnip, aren't you smart enough to know that we demons don't give a damn about mortal lives; we like to destroy, manipulate, and kill the lives of others."
Tulip sighs as Topaz walks past her to the warzone. Tulip follows behind her. Then Topaz pops a question to Daisy's little sister.
"What the hell are you here for, brat?" Tulip uncovered her ears to answer.
"Diamond sent Vines, Sapphire, and I here to help out." She tells her.
"I never asked that bitch for help, but whatever."
"And I was told to join the Wu army."
"Shit." The demon princess says to herself. "Fine, go find Sun Jian. He's somewhere around here."
With Sun Jian and Sun Ce
Wu has won the victory of Yan Providence with the help Yuan Shu, and the Wu family. After the battle, Sun Ce went in search of his father to apologize for yelling at him. Ce saw his on his white stallion looking at the horizon. Ce went over to his father.
"Liu Biao is on the verge of defeat. Yuan Shu should fulfill his promise now." The King of Wu says.
Then he hears footsteps coming behind him. He turns around with his sword in hand, but once he saw his eldest son he put it down. Ce tried to ponder a way to apologize, but nothing came to thought. So, he tried to say it the best he could.
"Father…I uh. Listen I…"
"Yes, Ce."
As the two men were to have a conversation, neither of them noticed the three arrows flying through the air towards Lord Sun Jian. With the two men distracted to see them and no one else around them, there was a ninety-nine percent of the arrows would kill Jian. That was until…
"MR. SUN JIAN!" someone say from afar, catching both males attention.
The arrows were closing in on Sun Jian. When suddenly, two purple flower shape shurikens flew across the air and cut through the arrows. The wooden spears fell to the ground. Sun Jian was stunned like Ce, as three archers came running towards them.
"What the hell happened?" the leading archer retorted.
Then suddenly, a girl wearing purple jumped out of the tree in front of the men.
"Who the-" before the man asked his question, Tulip performed a roundhouse kick to the archer's face, knocking him unconscious.
Lord Sun Jian and Ce watched in amusement as she knocked out the other two archers. After Tulip had knocked the men in unconsciousness, she fixed her glasses while approaching Jian.
"Mr. Sun Jian, are you alright?" the Angel princess inquire the man.
The tiger cleared his throat before answering her.
"Yes, thank you." He says to Tulip. "If I may ask, what is your name?"
"I am Tulip Angel, milord." She bowed. "Lord Sun Jian, I was told by a general of yours that you were here. And if in your will, I would like to join your army."
"Father?" Ce looked up at his father, who pondering whether or not to let her join.
After what seemed like hours of thinking, he found his answer.
"I will allow you to join my army; however you will only be a troop."
"Thank you." Tulip said.
In the village of Beiping
'Hmm, where is Daisy?' Vines pondered in her mind as she wondered through the village.
After she was transported to the Han dynasty, Vines had landed in the alleyway of the village. She was walking for hours and yet no sign of the yellow-haired angel. To make matters difficult for her, the peasants were crowding up the road, making it difficult for her to move.
"This road is more cramped up than a public bus." Vine says.
Luckily for her there was a wide opening in the crowd for her to pass. Once she made it out of the crowd, she fell to ground face first. Her soft hands helped her off the ground as she coughed out some dirt. Vines just laughed to rid of the pain, she can be such a cults.
"Vines?" A figure in front of her questioned.
The little Eternity motioned her face to the figure standing two feet away from her. As she did, her eyes could not believe what was standing right in front of her. It was Daisy Angel.
"Daisy!" Vines cheered, jumping off the ground to bear hug the older immortal.
Rose's sister almost fell to the dirt from the green head's tackle. Daisy shot a shocked visage at the young elemental when Vines let her loose.
"Vines!?" Daisy was flabbergasted. "What are you doing here? How did you get here?"
"Well let me tell you!"
"How about you explain it to me, as we head to Beiping castle."
"Okay!"
The two elementals were going back to the castle, while the little hybrid foretold everything to her.
At Beiping Castle
In the castle of Beiping, we see Lord Liu Bei wandering the halls pondering on what to do after the death of Dong Zhou. With no land to turn to call his own, he decided to seek out his old friend, Gongsun Zan. Despite his efforts to help people, he knew that China as a whole would not be healed. Despite his doubts, Liu Bei would not give up to save the people.
He moved to the balcony of the castle and looked down at the people in the village. They looked so happy and free as if there was no danger in the world. The view was so peaceful that it brought happiness to his heart.
'I wish I could do more and save the people for suffering.' He pondered.
"Brother." He turned to see oath brothers, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei walking over to him.
"Hello, Guan Yu. Zhang Fei."
"What is on your mind?" the drunk inquired his lord.
"The people." Guan Yu stares at him. "I just feel like no matter how hard I try to save the people, it will always seem like China will always be in the brick of chaos."
"That is understandable, brother. That chaos will continue to destroy China and its people if we don't do something about it."
"It's so difficult."
"Brother, why don't you try to relax for awhile. Enjoy yourself and let your troubles go away!" Fei suggested.
"I have to agree with him, you need to relieve some stress off your chest." The God of War says. "Maybe ask Lady Daisy out to dinner?"
Liu Bei blushed at that statement. It would be nice to have some quality time with Daisy, even though he has wanted to ask her for awhile but didn't have the courage to do so. Maybe he might have the courage today.
"Why the hell should he ask the flower girl? There are plenty of women out there that are better for him." Zhang Fei objected.
"Zhang Fei!"
"What, he's too good for her!"
"It doesn't matter. It's Liu Bei's choice."
"Fine."
There was a long silence between the oath brothers. Then they heard the sound of footsteps coming into their direction.
"General Liu Bei!" Daisy called down the hall.
The Man of Virtue cleared his throat as Daisy approached them. Neither man taking notice of the green girl behind her.
"Yes, Daisy. What is it?" He asks.
"Two things. First, Gongsun Zan requests you to the meeting room." Daisy nervously rubs her left arm. "Second, umm…my friend here wishes to join us."
"And who is this friend you speak of?" Guan Yu questions her.
"That's me!" Vine jumps on her back like a little kid.
The trio was shocked to see the mysterious girl appear on Daisy. But, the strangest thing was how green she was. Green hair, green clothes, everything on her is green!
"Aw shit, this brat is green! No, don't let her in!" Zhang Fei yells.
"Who are you?" Liu Bei questions her.
"I'm Vines Eternity! I'm smart, cheerful, and I have a whip for a weapon."
"Um, I'm not sure right now. I'll tell you my answer after the meeting."
"Okay!" She says before skipping down the halls.
Guan Yu and Zhang Fei were making their way to the meeting room. Liu Bei was about to follow them, but not until he asked Daisy a question.
"Um, D-Daisy."
"Yes, Liu Bei." She looks at him, bright yellow eyes studying him.
"I…um…I was wandering…after the meeting…would you like to-" He blushed at her.
"Would I like to what?" She tilts her head in confusion.
The Emperor of Shu took a deep breath.
"Daisy, would you like to have dinner with me tonight?" He dropped his head waiting for her rejection.
"Yes. I'd like to have dinner with you." Daisy smiled at her lord.
Were his ears deceiving him? Did she actually say yes? His heart was pounding so fast he couldn't hear her question.
"When should we leave?"
"H-how bout at sundown."
"Good to me. See you then." When that was said Daisy went down the hall to her room to get ready.
Liu Bei was so happy that he felt his heart doing somersaults in chest. He finally had the guts to take her out! What would his brothers say? He didn't care; all that mattered was his date with the yellow beauty.
