Hi everyone, PM619!

Here's another chapter for you entertainment!

Daisy; Yes and this chapter will be my point of view!

Yep! Okay, let's get chapter 13 on the way!

Chapter 13-The Date

Daisy's POV

I was walking down the halls to find my rental room. As I was walking, I looked outside to view the sun's position in the sky; its position was at four o'clock. Good, that means I have enough time to get dressed and fresh before going to dinner with Liu Bei. I giggled, remembering Liu Bei asking me to dinner. No, I'm not laughing at him or asking me out, it's the way he looked is what made me giggle. He looks cute when he's nervous.

When I entered my room and shut the door, I took off my clothes and replaced them with a long silk gown. As I was doing that, I began to ponder about what I should do first. Maybe I redo my hair, before putting on makeup. No, then I won't have any time to decide what dress I should wear. I'll do my hair after I get my dress.

"Mary." I called my little light of mine. She appeared in the air and flew to my face. "I need my wardrobe to find a dress."

She understood my command as she glowed up. Little Mary flew around the room for a few seconds, and then she transformed into my yellow-white wardrobe. I opened the door and gazed at the many dresses inside. Most dresses were long, but of them were short.

'Which on should I wear?' I thought to myself.

Unnoticed to me, someone came into my room while I was not paying attention.

"Hi Daisy, whatcha doing?" Vines inquired beside me.

"I am trying to decide which dress I should wear for tonight." I answered her.

She tilts her head in confusion.

"What's happening tonight?"

"General Liu Bei asked me to dinner and I'm getting ready for it."

"What restaurant is he taking you to?"

I never thought of that. What restaurant does he want to go to?

"I not sure, but it won't matter to me. Just as long he is happy, I am satisfied."

"Can find a dress for you?" I smile at her.

"Sure you can."

Vines went into my close, looked at all of my dresses till she saw something that put a wide smile on her face. She pulled it out and showed it to me; it was an Elsa Rose dress in green sequin lace. There were also a pair of white high pump sandals in her other hand.

"How about this dress with these high sandals? I think these will look good on you, Daisy!" Vines suggested and I agree with her, I would look incredibly cute for Liu Bei.

"I like it! Put the dress on the bed, please." I said. She placed it on the bed then came back to me. "Next, redo my hair."

What hair style should I do? Should my hair have buns? Curls? Braids? Or straight? As I was thinking about what style my hair should be, I hardly noticed Vine doing my hair for me. Her hands removed my flower hair pieces out, letting my long hair fall to the floor like Rapunzel. Then she grabbed the sides of my hair and put them into a low ponytail by a white bow, leaving the rest of my hair down. I turned my hair to the mirror on my vanity and it was so cute.

"Thank you Vine!" I gave her a warm hug and she laughed.

"You're welcome." She replied.

I turned myself back to the vanity to apply my makeup and perfume. Then a question came to me as I put on some blush.

"Vines, what time is it?" I questioned.

I saw Rose's sister look at her watch for the time before answering me.

"It's five forty-eight."

Five forty-eight, oh no I hope it's not sunset yet.

"Vines, can you please check if the sun has set?"

I went over to the bed to grab my dress and did my best to put it on as fast as I could. Vines turned back to me from looking outside.

"The sky is orange-red and the sun is setting like now."

"Is Liu Bei outside?" I got my dress and sandals on.

"No not yet."

With one last check in the mirror; I fixed my hair, put on some lipstick, a little more blush, and got my earrings and necklace on.

"How do I look?" Vines looked over my figure before answering.

"Wow…you look amazing." I blushed at the comment.

"I hope Bei thinks the same." I became a little worried at what he might think.

"No need to worry, Daisy. Everything will be just fine." She shot me a smile, which relaxed me.

"You're right." I took a deep breath then let it out. "Okay, I'm ready."

After receiving a nod from Vines, I left the room and down the halls with Vines following behind me. When I made it to the ground floor, I saw Guan Yu standing at the doors of the castle. When he saw us walking towards him, he eyes widened at me as I came closer.

"Good evening, Guan Yu." I bowed to him.

"Daisy, you look marvelous." He complimented me.

"That's kind of you to say, thank you." I smiled up at him. "Is General Liu Bei outside?"

"Yes. Would you like me to escort you to him?" I smile at him again.

"Yes, thank you." He offered me to grab his arm, I did and we walked outside to Bei.

He was walking around the courtyard looking into space. When he saw us coming towards him, he smiled at his brother then at Vines. But when he turned to me; his mouth dropped, his eyes widen, and he was blushing at me.

'Oh dear, does he not like my dress?' I pondered with concern.

I walked towards him while nervously playing with my hair. Liu Bei mouth quivered, I think he's trying to say something.

"Daisy," I stared into his dark eyes. "You look beautiful."

I could feel my face burning up as my smile stretched. He called me beautiful.

"Th-Thank you."

"Are you ready to go?"

"Yes." I wrap my arms around his left arm. He blushed before smiling at me.

After that we took off into the village, leaving Vines and Guan Yu at the gate.

"Bye Daisy, have fun on your date!" I heard her say, which made me blush a little.

When we entered the village; the Chinese lanterns and light lit up the shops, restaurants, and the street. The villagers were walking past us doing their business. The children were playing in the street, laughing and smiling. Seeing children smile is pleasing to me; it makes me happy. I looked up at Liu Bei; he too was smiling at them.

We entered a small restaurant near the clothing shop; people were eating in tranquility. A waiter in a blue robe came our way to greet us, then escorted us to a table. While we were walking to a table, I noticed some people were staring at me; most of them were men. Their intimate stares were making me uncomfortable, I gripped Liu's arm tight to ease my discomfit. We took our seats at the table as the waiter asked for our orders. I ordered white tea with white rice and dumplings; Liu Bei ordered green tea with rice and beef.

Once the waiter was gone I decide to start up a conversation with Liu Bei.

"How was the meeting, Liu Bei?" I inquired him.

"It went well, long but well." He answered me.

"That's nice. What was it about?"

"We have been requested to reinforce Lord Tao Qian's troops in Xu Providence."

"Goodness, what's happening in Xu?"

"From what the meeting spoke, Lord Cao Cao is trying to claim the providence for his own ambitions. He's not going to stop at nothing until he gets what he wants."

I could sense the feeling sadness and guilt rising off his body as if it were a bad odor. His head is hung down, pondering on the innocent soldier dying to protect their and lord. I too am concerned of them like any other angel would. I want to comfort him, tell him that God will protect them, and hold him in my arms like a loving wife would do to her husband. But I can't, he might push me away.

Gently placing my hand over his hand on the table, Liu Bei moves his head to me as I offer a placid smile. He returns the smile before a waitress arrived with our dinner. We ate in silence for what seemed like five minutes, and then Bei asked me a question.

"So how do you know her?" He questions me.

I took a sip of my tea before saying anything.

"Know who?" I raised an eyebrow at him.

"The girl with green hair, who wants to join accompany us."

"Vines? She's my sister's long time friend."

"You have a sister?" He seems flabbergasted.

"Yes, her name is Tulip. She's in the Wu army, hopefully they made her a strategist; she's very smart and knows how to make a plan."

"That's impressive." I nod with a smile.

"Will you consider Vines to join, Liu Bei?"

"Hmm…I will. We will need all the help we can get to win the battle against Cao Cao." I smiled and giggled at him before finishing our meal.

After that lovely dinner, we went back to the castle. Everything was so beautiful outside; the stars were out, a full moon shined in the sky, and fireflies flying in the streets like wisps. It was so romantic I could treasure this forever. When we were in the courtyard, Liu Bei turned me towards him, I smile at him; moonlight shining on us like a spotlight.

"Thank you for the wonderful dinner, Li. I had a great time." I said to him.

"I did too, Daisy. Glad you enjoyed it." We laugh in merry.

"We should do it again sometime."

"Yeah, we should."

"Li."

"Yes."

I stare into those beautiful brown eyes of his as he looks into my yellow ones. I take a few steps towards him till I'm close to his chest. The next thing I do I put my hand on his chest, stand on my tipsy toes, and then gave him a kiss on the cheek. My lips felt the burning heat in his cheek; he was blushing. I remove my lips from his cheek and gaze into his eyes before retiring to my room.

Once I was in my room, Vine was on the bed playing on her Ipad. When she saw me close the door, she gave me a warm smile.

"Am I in the army now?" Vines asked me.

"Li says you can join." She jumped on the bed with glee while cheering. "We have to be at a battle soon, so be ready Vines."

"I will! Who are we up against?"

"We'll be going against Lord Cao Cao and his army in Xu providence. I have no doubt that Rose and Sapphire will be there."

"I'll be seeing Thorny and Sapphire at battle, yea!"

"Vines, please take this seriously."

"Okay."

"Good, let's get some sleep."

Vines and I changed into our night wear before going to bed for sleep. But not before I heard Vine say something inappropriate.

"Liu Bei thinks you have a sweet ass!"

I blushed before falling asleep.
