In this chapter we will read Vine's and Thorn's POVs on the battle.

Chapter 14-Battle at Xu Providence

Abandoned Village-Vine's POV

"Daisy, what happened to the village?" I asked Daisy; she was comforting a little boy in burnt clothes, he was crying on her shoulder.

"Cao Cao's army happened that's what." She answered; I could sense the venom in her voice.

I tilted my head to the side in confusion.

"Why would he destroy this village, didn't he know that there were villagers here?"

"Of course he knew the people was here, you moron. He just didn't give a damn about them!" Zhang Fei spoke.

"Zhang Fei, watch you language please." Daisy pleaded, covering her ear with her hand.

"Flower girl, stop being so sensitive! Cao Cao's army came here and destroyed this village and all you care about is my language!"

Daisy stared at Big Fei for a moment before going back to comforting the poor boy. Then Zhang Fei walked away from us, his feet stomping on the ground like a buffalo. That should be his new nickname, Buffalo Man! I giggled to myself before skipping merrily through the village.

As I was skipping around, I gazed over the broken buildings and rubble. Then I gazed at the peasants in the village; some were grieving, others are shaking with anger, and most were mourning over the death of their loved ones. I felt sorry for these humans; no being should ever suffer like this. If the people back in my universe were to experience this, how would they feel? Does Thorny know what Cao Cao's doing?

I was so caught up with my thoughts that I didn't watch were I was going and bumped into somebody's back. I fell on my ass first, then my back, and lest my head. My head was pounding like a bass drum from the impact.

"Are you alright?" I heard some guy ask. Then I felt a pair of hands being placed on my back and lifting me off the dirt.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Sorry I didn't-" I stopped in the middle my sentence.

My emerald eye widen at the beautiful sight in front of me. I was staring at the most…gorgeous man in the whole human world. His features were made to perfection; his hair was rich milk chocolate color, beautiful hazel eyes, the headband and scarf are crystal blue like his armor, and his biceps…oh my god his biceps are powerful and delicious!

When our eyes meet each other, I felt something between us, a spark. We didn't speak to one another our eyes spoke for us. But then he spoke to me.

"H-Hi, I'm Zhao Yun."He said.

"I-I-I'm V-Vine." I said, stuttering my name.

"I'm sorry I knocked you over!" He said quickly, while helping me to my feet.

"No, don't be it was my fault. I wasn't looking where I'm going."

"Let's say it both our faults." He smiled at me, which made me giggle.

"Okay." I smiled at him.

"Hey green head!" I heard buffalo man call to me. "Brother says you will be assisting me in this battle, so I'll tell you two things on what not to do. Don't slow me down and don't get in my way, got it."

"Got it, buffalo man!" I saluted him, and his face turned red with anger. Zhao Yun was chuckling at my remark. "I'll see you later, Zhao Yun."

I sprinted away giggling and blushing on my way to Daisy. Daisy was talking to Lord Liu Bei; I think it about their little date a few nights ago. When Daisy and Liu Bei saw me approaching them, I stopped running.

"Are you ready for battle, Lady Vine?" My lord asked.

"Yep!" I said getting my weapon out, Infinite whip.

"That's good. If Cao Cao is that powerful, then we have no choice but to eliminate him. That is our message that we will send to him in this battle."

"His army has caused too much pain for these people; killing their families, burning their homes this has to end. My heart is too in pain with the people, I pray this will all end soon." Daisy says. "Vines, where you're ready go to Zhang Fei."

"Hai!" I looked over my armor; green breastplate, steel shoulder plates, open finger gloves, green mini skirt, and steel boots.

Once that was done, I went over to buffalo man; he's by the main gate with Zhao Yun.

"Lord Liu Bei is a man of emotion. To think he would aid them regardless of having no connection with them." The cute man said to buffalo man.

"That's why we follow him."Fei replied as I smiled at Yun.

"You two are truly blessed to serve a benevolent lord."

"You can join us, Zhao Yun! Lord Liu Bei didn't mind when I joined him." My eyes sparkled with hope that he'll join.

"That's because you're friends with that yellow piece of crap." I stuck my tongue at buffalo face.

"Maybe one day, but for now let's go to battle!" At those words the gates opened to the battlefield. Everyone charged into battle.

"We have to take care of Cao Cao, no problem." Zhang Fei said.

"I thought we had to kill him."

"That's what I meant, dumbass!" He yelled at me.

"Oh okay!" He did a face palmed before running off, I followed behind him.

A group of men in blue armor came charging at us, but buffalo knocked them down with his spear.

"My lord, Lord Tao Qian is being attacked by enemy officers." A soldier reported.

"Vines, Zhang Fei, rescue Lord Tao Qian." Liu Bei commanded.

We did as he commanded, only to see more soldiers coming our way. I spun my whip in the air then slammed it on the ground, knocking the enemy back. Zhang Fei and I fended ourselves against the enemy until we saw the old man defending himself against two officers. When the enemy saw us approaching, they tried to attack us. But to their demise, Zhang Fei and I kicked their asses to the ground.

"You saved me, thank you." The old warlord thanked us.

"You alright? Follow us; we'll take you to the castle." Lord Tao Qian nodded in agreement, and then we made our way to the castle.

On our way to his castle, Liu Bei and Daisy were holding off the enemy while also clearing the path for us. I find this kinda fun because I feel like one of those president escorting officers. You know the ones people often see in a parade or celebration or something.

When we arrived at the castle, the gate was blocked by another enemy officer and his men. The officer had a large pike thingy over his shoulder and he looked pretty.

"You weeps are my opponents; I'll crush you like all the others." The man smirked.

"You killed the otters!" I said in shock.

There was an awkward silence between the guys and me.

"The fuck, are you stupid?!" Zhang Fei yelled at me.

"No, he said he'd kill us like the otters."

"That bastard said 'others' not 'otters'!"

"Oh, okay." I said.

Little did I realize the man was charging at me, weapon high in the sky. But then buffalo man stopped him with his power move. He swiftly grabbed the guy by the legs, swung him around in the air for a few seconds, and then threw him into his unit; knocking him and some of his men out.

"My castle…it's already in enemy hands." The old man was now depressed.

Then the big guy, Guan Yu or Black beard, I like to call him appeared beside me.

"Don't worry we'll get it back for you." Guan Yu told him, hoping to encourage him.

The castle gates opened up for us to pass through. We entered the castle and found the enemy residing by the gates. The leader of the group was a large man in heavy blue armor; he looks like a gorilla, well at least to me he does.

"Do not let the enemy have a slight chance-our defense must tight!" The gorilla man told his troops.

'So tight that you can rip any mans' dick off!' I giggled at my silly imagination.

Zhang Fei, Guan Yu, and Lord Tao Qian were fighting against the troops, while I charged at the big ape man. The Wei officer tried to attack me with his iron whip, but I dodged it by doing a cartwheel to the right. I smiled to myself before whipping my whip at his face, but his helmet protected him. Then he ran at me and kicked me in the stomach, knocking the air out of me. I flew back a few feet, but I regained my posture and smiled at him. He repeated the same move again, but I caught his foot and swung him into a building then to the ground.

"Give up, gorilla man! You can beat me!" I teased.

"I will retreat, but I will not give in to you." He says before leaving the castle with a few of his men.

"I have my castle back! Thank you, how can I ever repay you?" Tao Qian said with glee.

"Well…" I was say the buffalo jumped in.

"Don't even think of it, veggie head!" He yells, and I stick my tongue out again. "You're worst than that shit in blond!"

"Don't talk about Daisy that way, she looks nothing like shit!" I yell back.

"Both of you stop it!" Black Beard yelled at us. "We have a battle to win and people to protect; bickering at one another will not help!"

Buffalo and I turned away from each other.

"We are to proceed to the central garrison, let's go." We nodded at him before leaving Lord Tao Qian in his castle.

Cao Cao's camp-Thorn's POV

"My lord, the enemy has managed to reclaim Xu castle!" Cao Ren reported.

"What how did he manage that?" my lord inquired.

"It seems that he has called for reinforcement from Beiping." He answered.

'Beiping? Isn't that where Daisy and Vines are?' I pondered. 'If so, then they must be in this battle.'

"What do you want us to do, my Lord?"

"I want you to stay here and recover." He ordered.

"Yes, my lord." Cao Ren went into one of the tents to recover.

"Lady Thorns." My lord called me.

"Yes?" I replied.

"Is the ambush in the east village ready?"

"I ordered Mi Shin and Sapphire to take the unit to the village not too long ago. It should be ready by now."

"Good, I want you to defend the main gates till further orders."

"Understood, my lord." I turn over to Dian Wei. "Good luck, Dian Wei. Protect our lord."

"I won't let anything happen to our lord, Thorns. Oh, and good luck to you too." He said to me.

I took my leave out of the camp to the main gates. Once I did, the gates closed behind me to make sure no enemies go through. Not unless they defeat me, which will never happen.

As the minutes passed by I was becoming stressed, not from this battle, I was recalling everything that has happened earlier. First was Yuan's report; he said that Xiahou Dun and his unit were attacked at Yan providence. Apparently that Lu Bu guy appeared out of nowhere and killed his unit. So Dun won't be in this battle. Then Cao Cao sent Xiahou Yuan to Yan to search for survivors, so he won't be in the battle as well. Next was Sapphire, oh Satan! When I demanded her to get the ambush unit to the village, she ignored me because she was too focused on my bodyguard to care about what I said. The only thing that got her to listen to me was when I told her I'll sent Mi Shin along with her. Sapphire can be such an ass sometimes, damn her and her love for women!

"My Lord, we have lost the central garrison!" I heard the messenger say.

'Damn it, Zhu Xu has fallen to the enemy. However, I know the half of the enemy troop will try finding another way around, which should lead them into the village where the ambush unit is stationed.' I thought to myself as Zhu Xu entered the camp. 'Even with Daisy and Vines on their side, they won't be able to pass through Sapphire.'

Few minutes later, I could sense that Mi Shin and Sapphire has dispatched the ambush on the enemy. That's good, now to wait how the outcome will be. I heard the footsteps of enemy soldiers coming towards me; six troops actually. A smirk grew on my face; they must be stupid thinking I'm a defenseless woman. Slowly, I moved my hands to grip my duel katanas and waited for them to come closer like a leopard and a zebra.

"Get her men!" the leader told his men. I didn't move as the men came closer, just waited.

Three…Two…One…NOW!

With my inhuman speed, I wielded my katanas out before swinging them at the men with a powerful force. They lifeless men fell to ground as their blood spilled on the ground and on my armor.

"That was easy like making love." I chuckled to myself.

Suddenly, the messenger came running towards the camp in a hurry for something and he looked pale like he's seen a ghost. Wonder what got him so spooked?

"I bring news. It's…It's Lu Bu, his forces are laying siege to the main camp!" the messenger cried.

"What! Everyone return to the Main camp, we have to protect our lord!" I commanded. All of the Wei officers left their stations and tried to return to the main camp, but the enemy was holding them back.

I ran to the edge of the hill to see how far Lu Bu's forces are; they were closer than I expected. Shit…and they were coming in fast. Somebody better come up with a plan.

"My lord, I will prepare the fire attack that should wipe out Lu Bu's troops." Xun Yu told Cao Cao.

"Good, that should make the beast retreat! Lady Thorns, assist Xun Yu with fire attack." He commanded.

"Yes, my Lord."

I jumped down the cliff to make it faster for me to get to Xun Yu's unit. However as I was about to reach my destination, I was hit in the mouth by an iron whip. I covered my mouth at the sudden attack before spitting out blood.

"Oh look who I have here, the little red slut who killed Lord Dong Zhuo. I hoping those soldiers killed you before you escaped." I heard a female's voice say.

I turned towards the direction of the voice, but when I did I could not believe who I saw standing in front of me. It was that ballerina from Dong Zhou's castle and accused me of murdering Lu Bu's father; even though I took the blame for Lu Bu because I owed him.

"Who are you?" I asked her and she chuckled.

"I might as well tell you before I kill you. I am the beautiful Diao Chan. You should remember it before you die." She sent an evil smirked at me.

The demon inside me wants to rip this bitch apart like lion, but the angel inside was holding it back.

"Go fuck yourself!" I spattered at her.

She narrowed her eyes at me and her smirk changed to a frown. Next Diao Chan swung her weapon at me again, but I dodged it hit me again. I ran towards her with my swords ready to cut her, but when I tried to attack her she spun out of the way making me miss her. Her whip attacked my exposed back; that's going to leave a mark later on. I growled at her before charging at her again. Diao Chan dodged me again, but little to her advantage I kicked her in the midsection knocking the air out of her. I swung my swords at her, cutting her body as if she was paper. Diao Chan fell to the ground; dirt and mud jumped on her outfit.

"Thorns, hurry up! Lu Bu and his unit have infiltrated the camp." Xun Yu was getting impatient with me.

I back at that pink bitch; she was pouting about her dirty dress, and then left her for Xun Yu. When I arrived, Xun Yu and his unit were waiting for me.

"Is the fire attack ready?" I questioned.

"Yes, Lu Bu's unit is scattered around the forest as expected. Let's activate the trap." With that said he set fire to the trees, burning the leaves and bark also.

When the fires extended throughout the forest, the enemy troops were screaming and trying to run from the forest fire but they couldn't escape. Smoke and ash filled the air, but people decided to ignore it. Then out of the comer of my eye, I saw that oversize drunk pasting the burning tree with my bubbly sister in tow. They were running up the hill to the main camp, no doubt to defeat Cao Cao. But at the same time, I saw Lu Bu jumping down the slopes to the forest that's not in flames.

What should I do? Stop my Vines and that drunken ass from attacking Cao Cao or prevent Lu Bu from escaping. As I look back at my sister and Zhang Fei, they were almost to the top and to the main camp, but if I go after them it would take me time to get up the hill and I won't be able to stop them. But if I go for Lu Bu, I'll be able to stop him and stop him from ever pursuing Cao Cao in the future.

"My mind's made up; I'm going after Lu Bu." I said to myself.

I sprinted off towards Lu Bu's direction, dodging the falling trees and corpus lying on the ground. Lu Bu was almost to the forest and I was getting closer to him. The flames were blocking my path to Lu Bu, so I took a deep breath and then blew a gust of strong wind to the inferno clearing my way.

Before I knew it, I made it to the forest clearing before Lu Bu. The mighty general stopped in his tracks when he saw me appear. I smirked to myself as I placed my hands to my sides, the forest flames burning behind me.

"Hello again Lord Lu Bu, still trying to take my lord's head aren't cha." He didn't say anything, but I didn't care. "Well too bad, I'm not letting you escape so that you can attack my lord again."

Again he didn't say anything. The only thing he was doing was staring at me, which was annoying me. Is he broken or what?

The next thing I knew was unexpected. With intense force, he pushed me up against a non-burnt tree and pinned my wrists above my head with his large hand. I tried to wiggle and kick him to let me go, but nothing worked it was like he was immune to it. There was little distance between us; his face was so close to mine that our noses were touching.

"What the hell are you doing!?" I yelled at him, but he didn't flinch. "Let me go or I'll-" I couldn't finish my threat as a pair of lips crashed onto mine.

My eyes widen at what was happening in front of me. Lu Bu, he was…kissing me! My body came to a complete halt at this. I felt my mind go blank and everything around me stood still, as if time had stopped. His lips they felt so soft and hard at the same time. Suddenly against my will, I kissed him back. I never kissed a human before, but this…this is amazing.

Why is he kissing me? To tease me? Make me feel weak? Or was it something else? My train thoughts stopped as I felt something long and wet enter my mouth. Was that…his tongue? Shivers went through my body as he explored my wet cavern. Then my tongue went into his mouth against my better judgment. Oh god, his orifice tastes like jasmine tea and sugar. I could feel myself getting heated at the sensation. But then he pulled his tongue out of my mouth; a bridge of saliva was built between our tongues. The mighty warrior and I were panting for breath, we've been so absorbed in that kiss we forgot about oxygen.

We stared at each other until of breathing was back to normal. Once we were done panting, Lord Lu Bu whispered something into my ear.

"You have no idea how long I have wanted to do that." His hot breath brushed against my ear. "I will never forget your taste."

That was the last thing he said to me before he released and went into the forest. Everything started to move again once my senses returned. I felt my legs become jelly and I slid down the tree trunk. The sound of my lord and his troops retreating flowed into my ears. That must mean we lose the battle.

My figures softly graced against my lips. The feeling of Lu Bu's soft lips could still be felt on mines. What is happening to me? What's this feeling in my body, I don't understand. I need to speak with Daisy whenever I can.
