Zach's POV
I had left the room after Kit made me apologize and went to go find the Giggly Lady who was on her way back from the kitchen. On our way back to the Angry Man's base I had to ask the Giggly Lady next to me that everyone kept calling Mai.
"Why do you always make that Angry Man's tea? I would've made him make it himself."
She looked at me confused. Crap I'd forgotten she can't speak English. Fortunately Kit and Louise had also entered the hall and were within earshot when I had asked. I looked at Kit hoping he can translate for me and I'm glad when he does. She made an 'o' with her mouth before she gave him a reply and then smiled at me.
"She says it's because it's a part of her job and she really doesn't mind doing it." He told me.
"But it isn't fair..." I replied and then I shut my mouth before we entered the room. The Angry Man took the tea and drank some. Judging by his expression, he loved it.
"Nolie and I are going out for a bit okay?" He first looked at the Angry Man. Then he turned to the Giggly Lady, Mai. "Can you watch Zach for me Mai?" I don't know what he said to her but she turned to me and grinned. "Zach, Mai is going to watch you for a bit while Nolie and I go out. Okay?" Kit smiled and looked over at Nolie who I didn't even notice until now.
"Okay Kit." I was curious about where they would be going. I had the feeling I'd better not mess with them or the Giggly Lady though as the Angry Man would be on my case again. About five minutes after they left I noticed I had to use the bathroom.
"I have to use the bathroom Mr Angry Man!" I started squirming. He let out a sigh.
"Mai." He barked. Her head shot up and she looked a bit annoyed. "Take him to the bathroom. He said he needs to go." The Giggly Lady nodded in response to whatever he said and took my hand.
"Co-co-me on." She spoke in very broken English. Even if it was hard to understand I knew what she'd said.
I jumped up and went out of the room with her in tow. I didn't know what Kit was thinking leaving me with someone who doesn't speak a word of English. 'Hmm. I wonder if it is okay to teach her to speak English?'
We stopped outside the bathroom and the Giggly Lady let go of my hand and I went into the bathroom. After a few minutes I had completed my business and exited the bathroom. Suddenly I felt something foreign enter my body and everything became dull. I couldn't control myself but I could see everything that was going on around me. I felt a grin stretch across my face as I reached out for the Giggly Lady's hand. She grabbed it and smiled down at me as she tugged me back to the room where the Angry Man was.
'No! What is going on?! Giggly Lady get away from me! I have something bad in me!' I tried to struggle away from her but nothing happened, we both kept on calmly walking. We entered the base and my body sat on the couch waiting for the Giggly Lady to sit next to me.
"Mr Angry Man?" I heard myself asking something but have no idea what it would be.
"What?"
"Can I teach her English?" I looked at Mai. I didn't expect to be asking that although I had thought about it.
"It's up to her." He said and then looked at her and presumably repeated what I'd asked. She looked hesitant at first then she nodded. I felt worried about this. Even though I would have taught her English having it suggested while not in control of my body was unnerving.
I got up and tugged her hand for her to follow me. "Bye Mr Angry Man!" He grunted in response.
My body first led Mai to the room next door then grabbed things from my bag. The thing that took over my body found my pocket knife that Kit gave me for protection because when I would walk home from school Kit would always say that there were bad men looking for children like me. The thing hid it in my jeans pocket then we left to go to the kitchen.
I got scared for the Giggly Lady. Whoever, no, whatever was inside me was going to hurt her. I didn't want that to happen, I liked the Giggly Lady she made me smile even though I didn't understand her when she talked.
When we got to the kitchen she let go of my hand and gestured for me to sit then motioned drinking and showed me some drinks. I guess she was trying to ask me if I wanted anything to drink.
"No." I shook my head. She slowly nodded. I patted the space next to me for her to sit down. She walked over to me and sat. The bad thing reached into my pocket and grabbed the knife then hid it.
"Easy words first." I smiled. She frowned a little, obviously not understanding what I'd said. "Repeat." I said slowly. "I. Will. Kill. You."
"A-Aaee..." She started to stutter out.
"I." My body pointed to just below her eye.
"Aaee..." She pronounced again.
"Will."
"Wheerr..."
"W-i-l-l." The thing inside me started to get very impatient.
"W-Wirr..."
"L."
"Rrr..."
"Kill."
"Keerr..."
"You." The thing told her. "I. Will. Kill. You."
"Yoo..." The Giggly Lady repeated. "Aaee...wirr...keerr...yoo..." She cocked her head at the end as though asking if that was right.
"Close enough!" My body clutched the knife and the thing laughed. Even though my body is small and weak I managed to tackle her and then hold the knife to her throat. She started to open her mouth to presumably scream. I covered her mouth and a low devilish laugh came from deep in my chest.
"Finally, I can exact my revenge on you Violet, you fucking whore!" He made my body laugh. If Kit had heard that he wouldn't be happy and would probably get Mum involved and then I'd really be in trouble. Why'd the thing possessing me have to say bad words? The Giggly Lady bit my hand causing me to let go with a cry. I then slapped her. The Giggly Lady cried out. I'd never hit a woman! Kit would kill me! The thing inside me pushed the knife into her throat.
"Shut up!" The Giggly Lady continued to cry. I started fighting against the thing who is harming the Giggly Lady. It was no use though, it was too strong for me. "Now then, this will be quick!)" The thing raised the knife above my head before it started to bring it down over the centre of the Giggly Lady's chest. She let out another scream. When the door burst open I heard something and then all of a sudden everything went black. I felt myself being lifted off the Giggly Lady. The thing inside me wasn't happy. It was hiding now so it couldn't be felt by the others. I was scared that it would hurt the Giggly Lady again. I wanted to leave this place so I wouldn't have to hurt the Giggly Lady again. My body weakly kicked a couple of times before it went limp.
Naru's POV
When I heard Mai's cries it put me into over drive. I ran out of the base and toward the cries. I reached the kitchen and what I saw when I got there both chilled and angered me. I rushed at the little punk and I knocked him out, catching him before he fell. He weakly kicked out at me before he finally went limp. Damn kid...
"Mai are you okay?" She curled up as she continued to sob on the floor. I placed the boy down on the floor.
"Mai?" I picked her up and I held her in my arms. She nestled her face into my shoulder as she continued to cry. "Shhh...what happened?" I asked holding her tighter. She shook her head.
"I don't know." I sighed. I looked at her red cheek and the pocket knife on the ground. It looked like Thomas White was back. I knew I immediately had to get in contact with John so he could exorcise the kid. My Mai was in danger until then but I was at a loss for what to do with him to keep him away from his target. I held a sobbing Mai in my arms while I picked up an unconscious Zach putting him on my back before leaving the room and heading back to base. I gently placed Mai on one of the sofas and went to move away so I could deal with the boy. She grabbed onto my shirt, preventing me from leaving.
"Mai I need to have John exorcise the boy or he might come after you again." I soothed removing her hand from my shirt. She nodded and I slowly left. Now, what to do with this brat. I fished my phone out of my pocket and called John who picked up on the first ring.
"G'day Kazuya." He greeted. There was the sound of throat clearing and shushing in the background. "Uh...sorry, hang on a sec while I go outside."
"Get here as fast as you can. Exorcism is needed. Thomas possessed the kid and almost killed Mai." I seethed.
"Oh my...I will tell Madoka and try and get there as soon as possible. Hang on until I get there okay?"
"I'll try not to kill the brat. But if he comes after my girlfriend again..." I warned.
"I know Kazuya, just please don't do anything rash." I agreed before hanging up. I don't know what he thought I was going to do, break out the kitchen knives and try to exorcise him myself? I tied the child to a chair and sat next to Mai holding her to me. She whimpered and looked terrified of him even though he was securely tied up.
"Mai it's okay." I said in a soothing tone. "He's not going to hurt you anymore." She nodded but I wasn't convinced. "John is on his way, I promise." I told her. She nodded still staring at the kid scared. I did the only thing I could think of to distract her, I placed my lips on hers. She kissed back half-heartedly. I could feel the trembling and shaking that was going through her body. I was disappointed. Was I losing my touch? This simply would not do.
"Mai, look at me." I commanded. She did as she was told.
"Don't worry about him. Everything is going to be fine and I will protect you." I told her.
"Okay Naru..." She said leaning against my chest. I wrapped my arms around her. "I love...you..."
"I love you too Mai. I never want to lose you." I murmured.
"Can I sleep...?" I nodded as she snuggled closer to me. I glared at the child that had caused this. Mai started snoring loudly in my ear as the kid started to wake up. I braced myself in case of trouble. I really hoped John got here soon as I wasn't sure if I would be able to stop myself from hitting him again.
"Ah fuck...my head is killing me. You hit hard for a wimp Benjamin." He said. So, he thought I was one of the other spirits in this case.
"Mr White, I presume. I am in fact not the person you think I am, my name is Oliver Davis." I informed. I decided to give him my proper English name as I doubted my Japanese title would be appropriate in this situation.
"Who cares? You still hit hard. No wonder Violet was so easy to get to. You can't protect her Ollie." He smirked.
"Who says I can't?" I snapped. I really wanted to smash his face in for saying that.
"I haven't seen you doing such a great job so far." I gritted my teeth. I refused to succumb to my anger and rise to his bait. "I bet that other man could protect her better than you can Ollie." I sent him a confused glare and flexed the fingers of one hand a little. "That tall one who is always staring at her and always follows you around." Did he mean Lin? Surely that wasn't true, Lin didn't stare at Mai did he? He knew my feelings right? "He loves her. He should be the one to protect her not you." It wasn't true...it couldn't be. I held Mai tighter in an effort to stop myself from launching off the sofa and beating the kid to a pulp. "He'll take her from you. Just like how Violet was taken from me." My fist clenched involuntarily. I was about to get up and deal with the problem when voices called out from the hallway.
"Kazuya, we're here. We got here as fast as we could." John's voice announced.
"Take care of this little fucking insect!" I seethed at them picking up Mai and turning to leave. John looked shocked by my use of language. I didn't care right now though, I just wanted to get as far away from the room as possible. I wanted to grab one of those kitchen knives now and do the job myself, permanently.
"Naru..." Mai mumbled in her sleep clutching onto me. I looked down at her. A sense of calm returned to me upon seeing her sleeping face. She may not know it but she was my whole world and I hoped that what the spirit had been saying wasn't true as it would truly crush me if there was any fact in it. I walked into one of the rooms and laid on the bed with Mai close to me. I was trying not to let what had been said get to me but I could feel the urge to cry well up inside. I hoped Mai wouldn't wake and discover my weakness of feeling. Of course luck wasn't on my side today for Mai had woken up just as I started to cry.
"Naru...?" She asked sleepily before springing awake. "Naru, what's wrong?!"
"Nothing." I quickly wiped my eyes. She didn't look convinced. I couldn't tell her though, I just couldn't.
"Naru, we've talked about this before..." She reminded softly.
"I know but I just-" She looked pleadingly at me as though begging for any little bit of information as to why I was sad and how she could help. "It's just some things Thomas said. No big deal Mai. Honest." I smirked.
"Naru, you never get upset no matter how much smack someone talks to you so for you to be upset now means it was a very big deal." Mai pointed out.
"I said it wasn't a big deal Mai!" I snapped at her. She fell quiet and then slowly got off the bed.
"I see. Okay." She gave me a bright smile but I could tell it was forced. "I'm going to go now. I'm sure there are things to be done." She said before going to the door and opening it.
"Mai wait! He was saying how Lin is in love with you and how he wants to take you from me!" I said with a scared look on my face. Her face softened a little then she began to laugh. "What's so funny?" I pouted.
"Naru, Lin being in love with me is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. It's not true, it honestly can't be." She said soberly.
"But what if it is?" I interjected. She shook her head.
"Trust me Naru, I know for certain." She told me cryptically.
"You're hiding something aren't you?!"
"Let's just say I seem to have more knowledge than you do on this and leave it at that. It wouldn't be right for me to tell you."
"Maaaiii..." I whined.
"Sorry Naru, but I have the feeling you will know by the end of the evening." She said apologetically.
"Fine but can you get back here? I'm cold and lonely now..." I frowned. She smiled and moved back over to me. I leaned down and kissed her tenderly. I truly never wanted to lose her and if she said there was nothing to worry about then I trusted her for now. I would protect her from anything and anyone that wants to harm her. She kissed me back just as sweetly and I wrapped my arms around her waist. Mai's tongue swept across my lower lip asking for entrance. I gladly let her in as she entwined her arms around my neck. We were just about to get into it when the door burst open. Fuck! I needed to learn to lock the door when we were alone. Mai also bit her lip.
"Hi Children. Just came to let you know we're all finished with the exorcism and it was a success so it's safe to come back now, if you want to that is." Madoka said before winking at us and leaving.
"Damn Madoka..." I growled. Mai just giggled and hit my chest.
"Be nice." She then grabbed my wrist and looked at my watch.
"I should probably go and start dinner anyway." She announced before dropping my arm and walking towards the door.
"Can I help?" I smiled. I loved to cook and I wanted to cook something special for Mai. She grinned back at me and nodded. I followed her downstairs to the kitchen then I shed my jacket, hanging it on a chair, and rolled up the sleeves of my shirt. After washing our hands she started to boss me around, which I let slide. She was the master chef right now, and I was an obedient puppy and did as I was told. She gave me vegetables, a knife and a chopping board and told me how she wanted them. I expertly cut them up as required and she gave an impressed look at my skills when I returned them to her. I stole several kisses from her a few times while we prepared dinner. I wanted to sit and eat privately in here with her when we had finished, much like I did last time, but I wasn't sure she would go for that and would probably want to eat with everyone else. As we got the food ready for everyone I noticed she left our plates alone. I felt hopeful. Lin and my father had arrived back while we were cooking and were waiting to update me on their findings. Lin entered the kitchen just as we had finished placing most of the plates on two trays.
"I would like to request we all eat together." He said as he eyed our plates on the counter. I guess he already knew what I wanted to do and foiled my plan.
"No. Mai and I will eat separately from everyone else." I glared at him and I put a secure arm around her.
"Naru, I think we should honour his request." Mai told me. Did she wink at me? I was confused and a little angry about all this.
"Fine we'll all eat together, but I'm not too thrilled about it." I stormed off into base with a look that said 'bother me and you die'. Mai and Lin entered shortly after with the trays of food. She gave me a withering look before setting the plates out on the table. I noticed Gene and Magnolia had also returned from their trip and were talking quietly to each other. Mai quickly left to return the trays to the kitchen then came back into the base and announced dinner was ready. I just sighed and turned away from everyone else as they started eating. I had lost my appetite.
"Naru, can you at least come over here and sit with us if you're going to sulk? You can at least pretend you're being social then." Mai chided.
"No. Why should I?"
"Well, because I'm asking you to would be a start." She replied. "Also I think it's important you join us."
"Ugh, fine whatever." I stood against the wall near the group since the only open seat was next to Lin and I didn't want to sit there. Mai rolled her eyes at me.
"Madoka? I have something I'd like to ask you." Lin suddenly said, nervously biting his lip. I wondered what was wrong with him, this wasn't like him at all.
"We've known each other for some years now and you have even allowed me the pleasure of dating you." He continued. He wasn't going to...? Was he about to...? Is this what Mai was referring to earlier? "You are the love of my life and you bring me overwhelming joy to know you are mine. I want to feel like this always and...well I guess what I'm trying to ask is..." He dropped to one knee beside her chair and produced a ring box which he promptly opened. "...Madoka Mori, will you do me the greatest honour of becoming my wife?"
"Yes!" She squealed as she kissed him. Everyone at the table cheered and clapped.
"Congratulations Mates. Just come to me for the ceremony." John told them.
"Grownups are gross!" Zach groused. Mai smiled at me in an I-told-you-so way. I felt like shit now. I silently took the empty seat next to Lin. If Mai had just told me this wouldn't have been such a difficult event.
"Congrats Lin." I told him holding out my hand. He looked stunned for a moment before shaking it and nodding his thanks. I smiled. Secretly I hoped that would be me and Mai one day. Mai looked at me and smiled with tears in her eyes. I smiled back at her with a genuine smile. Her smile widened at that and she walked over to me and sat on my lap. I wrapped my arms around her and held her tightly.
"I want to be like them one day Naru." I nodded in agreement with her. She gave me a small kiss. I kissed her back and then my stomach growled, loudly. Everyone including Mai started to laugh.
"Here." Mai picked up a plate with food on it and a fork and started to feed it to me. I felt rather stupid being fed like a child but on the other hand I really enjoyed her attention. She started licking some excess rice off my face causing everyone to stare at us. "Yum. Tastes better..." She seemed to suddenly notice all the eyes upon us. "...oops, got carried away." She mumbled.
"This is why I like eating alone with you." She giggled a little and blushed.
"I know, but you can see why it was important to be here can't you?" She murmured.
"I know. But can we go somewhere else now?" I whined.
"Oh Naru. You won't be satisfied unless I agree will you?" I nodded at her. She let out a sigh. "Alright, Lin you don't mind if Naru and I finish our dinner in the kitchen do you? I think Naru would prefer it."
"Hey Pink Lady, what they saying?" Zach asked Madoka.
"Well they want to go eat in the kitchen as Naru doesn't really like eating with people." She explained to him.
"It's probably so he can share some more cooties with you." Zach announced. I thought I saw him wince as though Gene kicked him under the table. Mai just stared looking confused at the kid.
"Let's just go Mai." I said as we left the base and headed towards the kitchen. She carried both our meals to the kitchen then placed them on the table side by side. When I sat down she immediately sat in my lap. She picked up my fork and began feeding me again.
"You realize I'm not a child right?" I said after swallowing some food.
"Of course. You're my devilishly handsome boyfriend who I love very much." She replied before licking the corner of my mouth.
This sent a shiver down my spine. "And you are my smart ass girlfriend of whom I love very much." I gave her a peck on the lips to show that the smart ass remark was a little joke. She smacked my chest before kissing me back. Ah how I love her and her amazing tea... That reminded me, I needed a cup. "Mai? Be a beautiful adoring girlfriend and make me tea. Please?"
"Well seeing as you asked nicely okay then." She said before getting off my lap and going to make my beverage. As I watched her work I couldn't help but wonder, why me? What did I do to deserve such a wonderful woman in my life? I slowly forked some more of my meal into my mouth as I continued to contemplate if she was too good for me. 'You know she is.' A voice in the back of my mind told me.
"Something wrong Naru?" Mai asked.
"Hm? No. Nothing really." Mai frowned but said nothing. 'She's too good for you. You don't belong with her you belong with no one.' The voice in my head was right. Why did she even love me anyway?
"Naru why are you crying?" Mai asked walking up to me. I wasn't crying...surely I wasn't, right? I shook my head to try and clear it. "Naru are you alright?" She asked concernedly wiping my eyes. I mutely nodded. This time I truly wasn't going to tell her the problem. She'd only try and convince me otherwise which was no good, she didn't deserve to lumbered with me she deserved a hell of a lot better. "Naru, tell me. I'm here for you no matter what." She gave me a loving kiss that I just couldn't return no matter how hard I tried. I turned my face away from her and focussed on the remains of my dinner. I didn't notice her leave the room until she came back with Gene and Magnolia in tow.
"Gene help me. I think something's wrong with him." The pair took one look at me before quietly telling Mai something. She rushed back out of the room. She soon came back with John.
"You guys may need to hold him alright?" He told the two mediums before starting his ritual and throwing holy water at me.
"What the hell do you think you're doing, do you know how much this shirt cost?" I yelled.
"Naru shut the hell up about your Armani and stay there!" Mai yelled scared. Gene and Magnolia held me down tightly enough that I don't think I could move. John had continued his exorcism and I felt something. At first there was a massive pressure in my head then I heard screaming in the back of my mind.
"Try not to fight it Noll, it needs to be gotten rid of." Gene advised. What? What did? What was he saying? I wasn't fighting anything. John kept going, dousing me again with holy water. It hit my skin and felt like burning lava but when I looked there was no damage just an ordinary drop of water on my hand. Is he sure he didn't change that stuff for acid? What's going on?! The prayers are hurting my head and the holy water is hurting my body! What the hell is happening?!
"John, stop, you're hurting him!" Mai cried.
"Hang in there Noll." Gene encouraged. All of a sudden I felt everything disappear and everything stopped hurting. It was like a great weight had been lifted from my shoulders. I slumped back into my chair. When I awoke I saw everyone staring at me.
"What happened?" I groaned as I raised a hand to my aching head.
"You were possessed Mate." I was dumbfounded. Again? I'll have a worse reputation for being possessed than Mai at this rate. "It was a pretty nasty one too, it put up quite a fight." John continued.
"Why?"
"We're not entirely sure but it may have had something to with the encounter earlier."
"Damn Thomas..." I looked over at Mai. "Mai come here." She looked scared of me. "Mai?"
"I-I can't..." She ran out of the kitchen. My heart ripped in two as I watched her leave.
"Mai!" Magnolia ran after her. Gene laid a hand on my shoulder.
Magnolia's POV
I chased after Mai grabbing her shoulder. "Mai what's wrong?"
"I was so scared Nolie." She sobbed before hugging me and crying on my shoulder.
"Shhh, it's okay, it's all going to be okay. He's fine now and you did the right thing in getting Kit in the first place." I soothed.
"I know but I thought he didn't..."
"You thought he didn't what?" I asked.
"Want me anymore." I hugged her tighter.
"Mai, that's nonsense. I've never seen a man more in love than him...except Kit of course." I told her.
"You and Gene are different to be honest I'm jealous of what you two have." I couldn't help but laugh.
"I wouldn't be jealous. He's stubborn, argumentative and a lot of hard work if I'm honest. He disappears whenever he feels like it, won't accept help when he needs it and God forbid you should actually assume that because you're his girlfriend he won't flirt with every other female he runs across. He's nothing more than a bigger version of Zach." I stated.
"That's true..."
"See, there isn't much to be jealous of even though I put up with those flaws and love him for who he is anyway and wouldn't trade him for the world." I smiled.
"I wouldn't trade Naru for anything either. It's just I never felt such uncertainty before than when I kissed him."
"Mai, I can only say it was due to the possession. He probably had doubts implanted in his mind, doubts that have an actual basis in how he feels and that made his worries grow into something he thought was true. I am only guessing but quite a few times Kit and I have been through this minus the possession part. He is always worried that despite my assurances about who he is and what he is like as a person he is never enough and doesn't meet my expectations of him. He feels I am too good for him and that is often what drives his behaviours." I explained.
"Naru probably has those exact same doubts in his mind, he feels unworthy of you and the thoughts planted by the spirit most likely boosted those feelings. He needs love, assurance and patience right now and you are the only one who can do it. He loves you very much, don't ever doubt that as it is written all over his face when he looks at you." I continued.
"But he shouldn't feel unworthy of me Nolie." I patted her shoulder sympathetically. I knew that and she knew that but trying to get it through those boneheaded boy's thick skulls was a completely different matter entirely. "How can I get him to realize he's worthy of my love?" I shrugged. There was no simple answer to give her other than what I had already told her.
"Let's go on a double date again. And this time, not a sports bar. So the boys' can't run off on us again." I suggested.
"That sounds fun. We should totally plan it all out." Mai grinned. It appeared she had cheered up a lot.
"Where shall we go to, a mall?"
"Would the guys really enjoy that though?" Mai asked.
"They might. Who knows?" She looked unsure about it though. "We can at least try right?" She reluctantly nodded.
"Okay." She agreed.
"Let's go tell the boys." Mai grinned and grabbed my hand ready to find our respective twins. When we find them they are watching Football. Damn men... I expected this from Kit but his brother?! We stood in front of the television so their attention was on us.
"Oi, what are you guys doing? Manchester United is playing," Kit said.
"So is Real Madrid!" Naru finished. I glared at both of them.
"Yes, Mai is fine now, thank you for your concern." I remarked snidely. "Now, you two will get off your lazy backsides and get yourselves rested up for going on a date with us tomorrow. If you are disagreeable to this you can both get back work instead as I am fairly certain the client is not paying you to slob around and watch sports." They both gulped and got up.
"Yes ma'am!" They said in unison and scurried off to go to bed as it was nine already. Mai and I shook our heads and trailed after them.
The following morning Mai and I were enjoying a nice cup of tea in the kitchen when the boys came bounding in, obviously fresh from the shower, announcing they were ready when we were. Naru did look hungrily at our tea though.
"Good boys." I patted their heads. Kit smirked at me a little.
"Don't even think of getting any ideas in that head of yours." I told him. I then noticed that Mai and Naru weren't really looking at each other. "Naru, she doesn't bite, get over yourself. She's been worried sick about you."
"She has?" He looked from me to her then at me again. I tried to resist the urge to smack him upside the head. Just what kind of morons were these two?
"Of course you Idiot. I was worried about you." She said stepping up to him.
"But I thought...I mean the way you ran off..." He stuttered.
"It was because of the uncertainty in everything you said and the kiss you gave was unbearable and so uncertain it made me question our love. But I was still worried for you, you damn Idiot Scientist." He looked ashamed.
"See Noll, I told you there was nothing to worry about. There's no mistaking how much Mai loves you." Kit assured him. So, while we were gone last night he was giving his brother the same speech huh? I'm impressed and proud.
"Now let's go out!" Mai said with a cheerful smile. She grabbed Naru's hand and marched towards the door.
"Where are we going you guys?" Kit asked confused. I linked my arm with his.
"We are going to the mall!" I declared. Kit shared a look with his younger twin and shrugged.
"Fine."
"Good." I said as Mai and I towed them to the car. I think this will be fun.
