After Ever After: Chapter 10: Not Who I Thought You Were

Rory ran up to Della in tears, ready to punch her right in the face when she blasted a black shadow at the blonde vampire. He yelled in pain as shadows surrounded him, blasting around him as his screams pierced the skies.

"RORY!" Erica yelled, screaming as she tried to aid him along with everyone else. But Rory didn't stop screaming, clutching his heart. Evelyn, who had finally caught up with them, looked at Rory in horror.

"Struck in the heart with a shadow." She said worryingly. "This is a complete disaster. Della!" She screamed at the blonde. "How could you do this to us? After everything we ever did for you?!" She yelled. Della smiled at Stephanie, who sided with the gang.

"Oh you pathetic weasels." She said, smiling a sickening grin. "You were never on my side. You always were far from me. In fact, I never liked any of you. Especially you Benny. Poor Puffles." She said. Benny growled, holding a bow in his hand as he conjured up an arrow. He really liked this weapon, he would think as the crowd parted.

"No need to hold a grudge." He said, pulling back the arrow and about to fire when his legs gave out and he fell to his knees, unconscious. Della's hand was extended as she smiled.

"No need to pull off such a scary act, spellmaster." She responded. Benny stirred as Ethan rose to his feet.

"You are Stephanie's daughter?" Ethan asked. "That must have been so awkward when Stephanie was a cheerleader" Sarah whispered. Della shot her a glance, and Sarah hissed. "What?! I said it." She said defensively. Della circled around the gang, Rory still unconscious and Benny weakly getting up. She smiled at all of them, holding the unbroken Crystal Heart.

"I, Della Crowne, was supposed to have it all. World domination, power, a better life." She hissed. "Then my mother made a stupid deal that would get her 'a better reputation', and spent the rest of her life just researching on how to make a child this, on how to place a curse that. She neglected me all these years. Now my revenge has come"

She pointed the Crystal Heart at Rory and in a shine of a crystallizing blue, he disappeared in an instant. Jane screamed as Della disappeared with the crystal heart.

Rory was gone.

Samantha and Ross ran up to the sullen gang and hugged their children tightly. Samantha had tears down her eyes as she stroked Jane's hair.

"My baby...baby you're okay." She said through sobs. Ethan looked at Jane in the embrace and pulled out. Ross sighed as Ethan closed his eyes.

"Dad, mom..." Ross sighed.

"Yes, I know son. We have some explaining to do."

A/N- Sorry the epilogue was so short...and yeah! That is all I have to say.

So until August 22nd, I guess I say farewell to the Kingdom's End trilogy until the next book. What'll happen? Who knows! *I do..jokes..*
