"Rainbow, do you want to meet your son?" A voice from far away asked her. Rainbow stirred then nodded. She was being helped up then sat down into a wheelchair? She woke up more as they exited the room. She was being wheeled down one hall after another until they reached their destination. It was a long window that Rainbow Dash had seen before when the Cakes, Rarity, and Spike all had babies. "Do you know which one he is?" The nurse asked gently.

"No, I never saw-." Then Dash got a glimpse of a dark blue that she had only seen in her dreams. She let eyes follow through and saw the same little colt from her nightmare on the last night she was a stallion. But this little newborn wasn't evil at all, it was the same foal she had so desperately tried to pick up. "That's him," she pointed with her hoof without a shadow of a doubt in her mind. "That's my baby boy!" She got excited and tried to wheel towards him but the nurse pony stopped her.

"Okay, hold you're horses! I'll bring him out to you." The nurse promised and left to retrieve him. Rainbow watched as the nurse went up the rows, past newborn after newborn to reach her dark, midnight blue coated son.

"He is beautiful." A voice noted beside her. Rainbow turned to see an orange mare in a wheelchair next to her own. "But then again," Applejack noted, turning her face onto Rainbow's "he did come from you."

"AJ." Rainbow breathed, relieved to see her wife was okay and rolled close enough to kiss Applejack's cheek.

"I missed you too." Applejack whispered and kissed Rainbow back. "How was your delivery?"

"Surprisingly short, I wish I could have been there for yours!" Rainbow sighed.

"Nah, it wasn't anything special. They just kind of split me open like a Thanksgiving turkey and then helped the twins out. Twilight helped too with our girl though." Applejack added looking out at the sea of newborns. Rainbow was about to see which were her twins as well, but then the nurse came back with her baby boy in a blanket, ready to be held by her mother for the first time.

"Is that him?" Rainbow questioned softly when the nurse came closer.

"Yes, here he is." The nurse affirmed, passing him from her grip into Rainbow's unsteady one. Rainbow looked down at the tiny pony for a second, terrified beyond any nightmare at the realization that this was indeed her son and she was indeed a mother from now until the end of time. But then her fear waned as the tiny foal opened his green eyes and stared up into Rainbow's rose colored ones. Then, in slow motion, the foal went from confused to smiling as he seemed to recognize her. As if to say 'Oh, hi Mom. I didn't realize it was you a second there!' Rainbow's fear melted as she realized she was going to be his mother for the rest of time and that was a far greater feeling than her fear. Rainbow looked up to Applejack who was smiling approvingly at Rainbow.

"How do I look?" Rainbow asked nervously.

"Scared, happy, proud and tired all at once." Applejack informed her without missing a beat. "Hey look," Applejack pointed as the colt turned in Rainbow's arms "he's a Pegasus, just like his mother!"

"Yeah he is." Rainbow smiled and kissed his forehead gently. "Say, where's the rest of my babies?" Rainbow asked looking at Applejack confused.

"Oh, they're in there." Applejack nodded into the room full of other ponies' newborns. "Do you see them?" She asked Rainbow.

"I don't know A-." Rainbow's eyes fell on two little foals. One was a small and dark orange, while the other was next to the first was an even smaller apple skin red baby. "That's them." Rainbow announced, nodding towards the twins for she felt that same undeniable feeling that said 'yes, these are her children'.

"Yep." Applejack nodded then got a nurse's attention to bring them out to her. "I haven't named them yet though. Haven't had time to."

"Same." Rainbow agreed, rocking her little rainbow manned colt. The nurse brought out the twins and left the new mothers alone to discuss in front of the other new fillies and colts behind the glass.

"I like Red for my boy." Applejack noted holding up the dark orange, green manned colt. "Just to be funny. And maybe, this is a family name, by the way, Apple Cinnamon for my little girl here?" She wondered raising the apple skin colored filly while lowering Red.

"I like those names. Hello Red and Apple Cinnamon." Rainbow approved the wriggling twins then looked down at her bouncing baby boy. "Now what am I going to call you, huh?" The baby shifted and looked up at her again. "It has to be something awesome, I like the thing about it being a family name, something that just fits." She thought for a long time. "How about Swift?" She asked out loud to her new family. The little colt looked up at her and smiled more brightly than he ever had before. "Aw yeah! Swift it is then." She smiled down at her boy and nuzzled her face close to his. He smelled amazing, she thought.

"Hello Darlings!" Rarity greeted as she made her way towards the family. Every pony from the Mane Six was with her including a gigantic teddy bear carrying Discord and a Clarity herding Spike.

"And who might you three be?" Twilight asked spotting the newborns quickly.

"This is Apple Cinnamon and Red." Applejack stated, raising the foals to their corresponding names.

"And this is Swift." Rainbow Dash proclaimed, raising the colt proudly.

"But guys," Spike spoke up as the mares cooed and awed over the little filly and colts. "Red's not even-." But Discord stopped him by placing a claw on Spike's shoulder.

"It's alright, Spike." He mumbled seeing only Fluttershy smiling down at the newborns. He would never be completely happy with Fluttershy's declaration of her love for Pinkie Pie but he could just be happy for the fact that she was happy.

"It's picture time!" Pinkie Pie cried out.

"Pinkie!" Every pony warned as the newborns were disturbed by the sudden noise.

"Oops…" Pinkie lowered her voice to above a whisper but strained it to still sound like a shout. "It's picture time!" The triplets settled again as Pinkie whipped out a camera. "Every pony whisper 'Chee-!'" She was going to say 'Cheese' but then remembered and patted her swollen belly absentmindedly.

"How about every pony say 'Happy First Day!'?" Fluttershy recovered the happy mood and rubbed Pinkie's shoulder before Pinkie's mane could deflate.

"'Happy First Day!'" Every pony smiled towards the camera.

"Yeah." Pinkie whispered then smiled as Fluttershy blushed and kissed her cheek as the camera flashed.
