Chapter 15

10th April 2013

Dear diary,

It has taken me nearly two months to bring up the courage to go ask the man that keeps walking past, what his name is and why he keeps walking past.

It was 9pm and raining again. I went outside to see if he was there walking past.

"Hello, it is a good night for a walk." He said as a joke. I laughed I little, it wasn't funny but I miss then kind of jokes.

"Yeah, totally. What brings you outside in this weather?" I asked.

"Just wanted to get out of the house for a while, as much as I love my girlfriend I don't think much of her two boys, but then again my children were a lot worst then her son." He said.

"They weren't angles then?" I asked already guessing the answer.

"If only they were. My name is Fred." He said.

I know who he was but I didn't want him to remember me, so I had to think quickly on my feet, and make up a name. "Zoe." I said.

"Nice to meet you Zoe." He said.

"Nice speaking Fred." I said, and with that I walk away. A lonely tear slipped down me face, it was soon followed by an avalanche of tears.

I thought he looked like him, it was him, it was my dad, but he can never know it's me. I am glad he didn't recognise me, because he would be ashamed of me, what I've done. He would hate me. I think it's better if the situation is left at that.
