Charter 16
19th April 2013
Dear dairy,
Last night I went to speak to dad again, just because I want to, I knew I was pushing my luck, but I had to speak to him. Karl doesn't believe it's him and I don't blame him, I didn't believe it at first, but now I do.
He walked past at 1am, but unlike last time, it wasn't rain, it wasn't even cold, but I was shivering, I was scared.
"Hi Fred" I said.
"Hello." He said.
"How are you?" I asked.
"Confused." He said.
"Why?" I asked.
"You think I don't know, don't know who you are." He said slightly hurt. I didn't know what to say. I knew if I said something I would regret it, so I said nothing. "Erin." He said then opened his arms out so he could hug me. I hugged him.
"Dad." I replied. I missed him.
For the next few hours we talked about everything and anything. Then the sun was about to come up so we had to go our different ways.
When I got back home Vlad was there.
"Hi, how are you?" He asked.
"Yeah, good," I said with a smile across my face. "What about you?"
"Alright, you're happy today." He said.
So I told him about dad, and he had some good news to tell me.
"Jonno says that the slayers aren't after you any more, he says that you can come home, without fear of getting slayed." He said. A huge smile appeared across my face. I was so happy.
So here I'm at Vlad's and Vlad was right no slayers want to kill me. I am free and happy, I've got Vlad, and hopefully that is how it is going to stay.
