Sorry I haven't updated in a while, but I'm getting back into this story now. So there will be alot more updates coming your way.

Mynameispretty: Here's your update! :)

Disclaimer-I do not own Lab Rats or Matchbox Cars. I only own Dylan, Tara, Mr. Henderson, Mrs. Henderson, Miss. Cambell, and Jake (wow, lots of OC's in this chappy). fudgebrownieface owns Davis. Please excuse any spelling/grammar mistakes.

BTW, the full chapter title is "A Past Friend Returns, And So Does A Past Memory". It was too long, so I had to shorten it.

Dylan's POV

I was sitting in my room doing my homework when I heard the doorbell

DING DONG

"Who could that be?" I think, and get up out of my chair. "Adam probably ordered a bunch of pizzas to make his Leaning Tower Of Pizza again" I think, and walk downstairs.

When I get down there I see Mr. Davenport and Tasha talking to someone at the door. I look a little closer to see a man, a woman, and their son.

"DYLAN!" the son yells, and runs up to me

"Umm, a little help" I say, and he lets go

"Dylan, don't you remember me?" he asks.

"Uh, Davis, Dylan has-" Tasha tries to say

"I remember!" I yell "Davis? Right?"

"Yeah, it's so good to see you" he says, and we hug again. Davis was my best friend at the orphanage. We would pull pranks on the girls, have sleepovers, and just be weird together. It's been over six years since I've seen him, and it looks like he got adopted too.

We pull apart "So" Davis starts "What's up?"

"Not much" I say, and just as I get him to believe that I have a completely normal life we hear an explosion come from the lab, and it makes the floor shake.

Me and Mr. Davenport both look at each other, and we know what happened.

Earlier Chase and Marcus wanted to work on their science fair project, and they wanted to use extremely explosive stuff. I'm not really really good at that kind of thing so I don't know what kind of stuff their using.

"What was that?" Davis asks

"Uhh..." I'm about to come up with something, but an annoying voice does before me

"Donnie, you might want to take a look at your sons and brother" Eddy says

"Who's that?" the woman - who I guess is Davis's mom - says

"That's my home security system, Eddy" Mr. Davenport says "Eddy, what did they do this time? And should I be afraid to find out?"

"Probably" Eddy says, and Douglas, Chase, and Marcus come running into the living room covered in dust..I think that's dust.

I see Mr. Davenport starting to get mad, but he's trying to stay calm because of Davis and his family.

"Hey...Donnie" Douglas says

"Hey, Mr. Davenport" Chase and Marcus say at the same time

"Okay, you know what, I was gonna try to stay calm, but I gotta know. WHAT HAPPENED DOWN THERE!?" he yells. and my brothers flinch because of their super senses

"We were working on our science fair projects, like we said we would, and...well..." Chase says looking at his brother and uncle/father...This family in really confusing me.

"We were experimenting with a special chemical gunpowder, and...as you can see" Marcus says gesturing to them "It did not go so well"

"Okay, well I think we should go, and leave them to that" Tasha says "Why don't we all go to the back patio?" she says as her, Davis's mom, and his dad all go out back. She looks at me, and nods her head upstairs telling me to take Davis up to my room.

"Davis, why don't we go upstairs?"

"Okay" he says, and we both run up the stairs

Chase's POV

Mr. Davenport walks over to us "Douglas, I told you to watch them!"

"I was! I just..."

"You just what?" Mr. Davenport asks

"He's the one that caused it to exploade" Marcus says

"Marcus!" Douglas yells

"Sorry" Marcus says looking at the floor

"Now I see why it happened" Mr. Davenport says

"What's that supposed to mean?" Douglas asks

"It means that you are more reckless than the kids sometimes!" Mr. Davenport yells

"Uh, hello?" Marcus says, and the look at us "Can we go get cleaned up please? I hate being covered in dust"

"You actually kinda look like you did when we found you in..." I stop when I see the look Marcus is giving me. It was never official, but everyone knows that we don't talk about that or anything else that happened before then. "Sorry" I say

"Whatever" Marcus says, and we both go upstairs to take showers, and get this stuff off of us

Davis's POV

There is definitely something weird going in in this house.

Dylan is my best friend. If something was wrong he would tell me, right?...Yeah, nevermind. He would tell me if something was up. There's nothing to worry about.

Dylan's POV

"So, whacha want to do?"

"I wanna know what your life is like" Davis says "You got adopted by a billionair!...But wasn't his name...Vecto Krate...or something?"

"Victor Krane" I look over to see Leo standing in the doorway

"Hey, Leo" I say, and he walks over to us

"Mom said you had an old friend over, and I wanted to meet him"

"Davis Henderson" Davis says shaking Leo's hand

"Leo Danger Dooley"

"I thought your middle name was Francis?" Marcus asks joining us in my room. His hair is wet, so I guess he just got out of the shower.

"It's pronounced Danger" Leo says, and Marcus puts his hands up

"Whatever" Marcus says smiling

"Weren't you the one with the...explosion thing?" Davis asks

"Yeah, but it was my dad's fault. He may be a brilliant scientist, but he's terrible when it comes to making chemical gunpowder" Marcus says

"So that's what you were doing downstairs" I say

"What we were trying to do at least" Chase walks in, and throws a towel on Marcus's head. His hair is wet too.

"Gee, thanks, Chase" Marcus says pulling the towel off of his head, but Leo takes it out of his hands, and puts it on his head again.

"Really?" Marcus asks taking the towel off of his head again

"Hey guys" Bree says putting the same towel on Marcus's head again

"What is with you guys, and this stupid towel?" Marcus asks

Adam comes in, and - guess what he does? - puts the towel on Marcus head.

"Why?" Marcus says from under the towel

I laugh, and take the towel off.

"Thank you, Dylan" Marcus says, and takes a step away from the four the keep putting a towel over his head

He sits on me bed, and Eddy appears on the screen in my room.

"Hey, Marcus, guess what?"

"What now, Eddy?" Marcus asks

Just then something opens up on the ceiling, and a bunch of wet towels fall on top of Marcus.

"I give up" Marcus says unburying himself from all the towels

"And who's this pretty lady?" Davis asks

"Who? Bree?" I ask

"A beautiful name for a beautiful girl" Davis says. He takes her hand, and kisses it. Bree giggles, and smiles at him.

"Why, thank you" she says

Oh, no! This cannot be happening! Why me?

My head starts to hurt, and I fall to my knees. I grab onto the sides of my head, and scream.

"DYLAN!" I hear my siblings yell, but my mind is somewhere else

I'm standing in the living room watching myself and someone else talk.

"I-I had a...a bad dream" I say staring at the floor

"Do I even have to ask what it was about?" the person asks

"Probably not" the other me says then breaks down crying

The person - who I think is a guy - pulls the other me into him "Why did...have to do this to me? I would've rather stayed at the orphanage than be adopted by him" the other me says still crying into the guy's shirt

"Hey look at the bright side" the guy says "If...hadn't adopted you, then you wouldn't be here right now, and you wouldn't have a family that really cares about you. I mean the kids there would've been like your family, but it's different than when you really have a family. Ya know what I mean?"

"Dylan?" I look up to see Marcus in front of me.

I couldn't see any faces, or hear any names. I remember that...sorta. But I feel like I didn't just see it, but lived it. I could've sworn that was...Adam.

I remember that!

"Dylan?" Marcus asks again

"Where's Adam?"

"I'm right here" Adam says, and I run to him, and hug him

"Woah, little buddy. What's going on?"

"Thank you" I say

"For?"

I pull away from him "I remembered something. It was when we were downstairs, and you helped me when I was upset about...What was I upset about again?"

"Uhhh..."

"Hey" Leo says "Let's not go into details, and just be happy you remembered something"

"Okay. Davis, you wanna go to the game room?" I ask

"Sure" he says, and we both run off

Marcus's POV

I'm not sure what I feel. He doesn't remember me, he doesn't remember Adam, but he remembers a memory of him and Adam.

I guess I should be happy he's getting his memory back, but I still wish he remembered me.

I go to my room to think things out.

What if he just doesn't want to remember me?

Maybe somewhere inside of him he doesn't want to remember me, and that's why he hasn't yet.

I wish he would. I miss my little brother, and I want him to remember me.

"Marcus?" I look up, and see Adam standing in the doorway

"Yeah?"

"We're all going out to eat. It's gonna be us and the Hendersons. Are you coming?"

"Uh...Y-Yeah...How long have I been up here?" I ask him

"About an hour"

I must've been thinking for longer than I thought.

"Oh...I'll be right down" I say

"You okay?" he asks

"Yeah, I'm fine" I lie

"Okay" he says, and walks out the door

I sigh, and follow him.

Dylan's POV

"So, two guys walk into a bar...the third guy ducks" Mr. Davenport says in his low reporter voice, and Mr. Henderson, Mrs. Henderson, Tasha, and Douglas all laugh

"I don't get it" I mumble to myself

"So, Dylan. What sports do you like?" Davis asks

"I'm on the soccer team at my school" I say

"Really? That's so cool! When's your next game?" he asks

"A few weeks"

"Cool, I'll definitely be there" he says, and I smile

"Hey, Adam?" I ask my brother who is sitting next to me

"Yeah?"

"What's up with Marcus?" I ask

"He said he was fine" Adam says

"Oh...Okay" I say, and go back to my conversation with my best friend

Adam's POV

The grown-ups are joking around and talking, but I have absolutely no idea what they're talking about. So instead I listen in on Dylan and Davis, and see what they talk about.

Dylan said something seemed off about Marcus, but he said he was fine. Marcus doesn't lie...Right? I mean, he did before, but he promised he had changed. If he lied, then what if he's changing back?

Marcus is my little brother now, and I don't want to lose him. Dylan already doesn't remember that much, and I don't think he remembers me at all, and so I don't want to lose Marcus too.

He hasn't been smiling that much, and it's probably because of Dylan not remembering him. He really should smile more, because if he does it'll make him happier.

I have to do whatever it takes to get my brother back, and I'm gonna need some help.

"Chase?" I whisper so that only he hears me

"Yeah?"

"Wanna help me with a mission?"

"What kind of mission?" he asks

"Leo, you too" I say still whispering

"Me what?" Leo asks

"You're gonna help me and Chase with a mission" I say

"YES!" Leo yells pumping his fists int he air

"Leo, stop yelling" Tasha scolds, and Leo puts his hands down

"Sorry, Mommy" Leo says, and I see Marcus smirk out of the corner of my eye

So there is one thing that gets Marcus to smile I think

"I have the perfect plan" I say to Chase and Leo

Tara's POV

"There's no way I'm gonna be able to do it" I say

"Yes you can. You're leg is healed, so you should have no problem...So what's the problem?" Sarah asks

"It's not that I'm not capable of doing it, but I just don't think I can"

"So you're not going to?

"I...I-I" Sarah slaps me across the face

"You will do it, or your punishment will be a whole lot worse" Sarah says, and leaves the basement

She goes upstairs, and locks me down here for the night. She does this whenever I get in trouble. So tomorrow there's no way I'll be able to sneak past her to get to school, because I have to wait for her to open the door.

I hate my life.

Dylan has been to four different homes since his mother died, but sadly all of them sent him back not even a week later.

The other kids always make fun of him for always getting sent back, and he tried not to let it bother him. But it does. It does bother him.

He's only six years old. He's not supposed to fake his way through the day pretending the other kid's taunting doesn't phase him.

He's been in this stupid orphanage for a year now, and he still hasn't found a family. If only his aunt hadn't been so cruel to him, and had treated him like her nephew.

He's about to go out to the back yard after another failed attempt at a home, and he's scared. That's his fourth home in a year, and he blew it again.

It was over something stupid too. The father said that boys don't wear bracelets, and Dylan said he was wrong. The father said that he had to take off the bracelet if he wanted to stay there, and Dylan didn't. The bracelet was just too special to him. His mother had given it to him right before he had died.

As he looks out at all the other kids in the back yard he sees an unfamiliar face.

A boy with brown hair about his age playing with a couple other kids in the sandbox.

"Miss. Cambell?" Dylan says

"Yes, Dylan?"

"Who's that?" Dylan asks pointing to the boy

"That's Davis. He got here a few days ago" Miss. Cambell says, and Dylan nods

"You can play with them if you want?"

"They don't really like me" Dylan says

"Well, you go out and do something" Miss. Cambell says

She hugs the six year old, and he goes outside. The second he steps foot out the door all eyes are on him.

"HA! They sent him back again!" one really mean kid - Jake - says

"Jake, shut up" Danielle says

Danielle is the only kid that's ever nice to him. She's ten, and like his little mother.

"No, I won't shut up. This little twerp deserves this if he's not even good enough to stay in on. Single. Home"

Jake advances on Dylan, and eventually Dylan has his back up against a wall with Jake standing right in front of him.

"Hey, leave him alone!" Danielle yells

Davis runs over to her.

"What's going on?" he asks

"Jake absolutely HATES Dylan. No one knows why, but he's hated him ever since he got here"

"How do you know?" Davis asks

"He's my twin brother" Danielle says

"Twin or not, we need to do something" Davis says

Davis grabs Danielle's hand, and they both run over to Dylan and Jake.

"Leave. Him. Alone" Davis says in the most intimidating voice he can do, but he's not very good, because he is still only six.

"Seriously?" Jake says

"Okay, I get why Davis would help, but you too Danielle?" Jake says

"You know I care about Dylan, and why do you hate him so much?"

"Because he's annoying, stupid, a brat, and...and...And I just don't like him! I don't need a reason! I just don't!" Jake yells

"Fine then" Danielle says

She takes Dylan's hand, and her, Dylan, and Davis go back inside.

The three walk upstairs to Dylan's bedroom, and she sits the two boy down on the bed.

"Thank again, Danielle" Dylan says as she reaches the door

"You're welcome. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go calm Jake down"

She walks out of the bedroom, leaving the two boys alone.

"Is he always like that?" Davis asks

"Yeah" Dylan says

"Well it would be harder for him to pick on two people than just one"

"What?" Dylan asks

"You wanna be friends? He hasn't been very nice to me either, but he hasn't gone that far. If we stick together he won't be able to pick on us anymore" Davis explains

"Okay"

"Do we have a deal?"

"Yeah, we do. A friendship deal" Dylan says, and the two boys smile

They decide NOT to go back outside, and to sit and play with their matchbox cars instead.

So there's that done. I have the next chapter already written, and I'm gonna be working on it more often. I have a plan inside my head of what i want to do with this story, but I just need to get it there. That means writing the parts that aren't quiet a exciting, but that's part of being a writer. Writing the boring parts to get to the other parts.

Anyways I'll try to update again soon. The last time I updated was, what, a month ago? It won't take that long again.

Follow/Favorite/Review, and all that fun stuff.
