Kakashi returned the next day after a long and, pretty irritating, talk with his friend. He hated to admit it but the old guy had some points about Anko and the baby. He sighed walking in to see Anko and Tenten playing with Lily on the couch. The little baby squealing with excitement, and, a smile on Ankos face. A smile he hadn't seen in a long time.
"Welcome home Kakashi." Tenten said smiling some at him. The man waved slightly as he looked at Anko in shock.
Anko looked at him and quickly lost her smile glaring at him. "What? Come back to cause more trouble?" she huffed angrily.
Kakashi shook his head and slowly went over to her only to have her scoop up the baby and walk to the kitchen away from him. "Anko. Come back here." He sighed.
"Go away!" She snarled as she heard him following her.
"Anko if you would just let me talk-"
"Why?!" She snapped holding Lily protectively.
"Anko please relax. I'm not going to take her away from you. I'm sorry for how I acted." He said. He was originally going to try and talk her into getting rid of the kid one more time. That is until he saw her smile.
Anko looked at him surprised now. "Y...your not?" She asked.
He shook his head. No. I'm not. I haven't seen you that happy in a long time as you were playing with the baby. I don't want to lose that part of you again." He said.
Tears pricked her eyes as she went over to him and burried her face in his chest. "Kakashi." She mumbled against him feeling his strong arms wrap around her.
