A/N) Sorry about the late update guys.

Quick question, can anyone tell me how I am doing on the characters of the guys and basically anyone from the show? Somehow I feel... like their flat.

Maybe I should stop while I'm ahead, just incase I'm butchering them...

Let me know ok. So I can either improve or stop this story all together.

This one is a little shorter then my other ones, but it's ok. The plot will start to escalade soon.

"What's with the long faces guys?" Nya looked at them as each Ninja walked back into the house, "Did you catch him?" It was a rhetorical question, of course they hadn't caught him.

Kai gave her a slight glare as she shrugged her shoulders innocently.

"No, we didn't, "The ever oblivious Jay answered, "But we didn't get our butts kicked without finding something out."

The interest was instantly piqued.

"What did you find out?" Garmadon inquired as he helped Wu into the room.

The ninja glanced at each other, slightly unsure if they should say anything.

Finally Cole stepped forward, "The Shadow guy, er... um, did you know he is a she?"

Both elderly men straightened, their eyebrows raised, "Come again?"

Silence.

"Boys?" Wu spoke softly, inquiringly.

Zane nodded slowly this time,"Yes, it would seem in a scuffle Cole had unmasked him, I mean, her... whatever IT is, and it turned out to be a female."

This time the thoughtful silence was broken by an ill timed burst of laughter from the corner of the room. They all turned to see Lloyd in a fit of giggles as he lay on the couch.

"You... you mean," he gasped between laughgs, "All FOUR of you guys, got" More gasps, "Your butts kicked by... by a GIRL!"

Their shoulders all slumped in defeat. Seeing Lloyd point something out in such a uncharacteristically childish way was even more pride dampening.

"Hey!" Nya growled and slapped the 'great Green Ninja's' blond head, hard Successfully stopping his laughing fit.

"Whatever, you guys are acting really immature now." Jay crossed his arms and pouted.

"Yah... cuz your dealing with this in such a grown up way Puppy face." Kai snapped, irritated at having been laughed at.

Zane intervened before another argument ensued, "Sensei's, Cole said he saw the shadow come out from the Westing building across our monastery, what could he-she have taken from there?"

Both brothers looked at each other calmly, thinking.

"We are not sure." Wu finally spoke up.

Jay threw his hands in the air in exasperation, "great! If you guys don't know who will! we're doomed, and we don't even know who the bad guys are yet..."

Kia rolled his eyes, "Nya, what do they usually store in that building?"

His sister was already tapping away at the main computer, "Let's see... hum, aha! Here, look, the Westing building is used for mostly invaluable heirlooms... of course that's not to say the things in there really ARE invaluable."

"So, whatever the their took, had to be some old trinket that seemed useless but really has something to it." Jay leaned over Nya's shoulder as his bright blue eyes scanned the screen.

Nya hide a blush, she still wasn't used to proximity breeches in front of others, alone was a completely different story, "Yah... so maybe we should see if we can do an inventory check and-"

A sharp ringing blared out cutting the young girl off.

A computer screen rolled out, Misako's worried face reflected from it.

"Ninja? Wu, Garmadon? Is anyone there?" Her voice came through muffled and broken between with some loud buzzing.

"We are here Misako, what is it." Garmadon stepped closer trying to hear her weakening voice.

"I- Bzzzt- found in - bzzzzt- Must-Bzzt- danger - Bzzzt-"

"What?" What is she saying?!" Jay felt the sudden urge to freak out as his voice rose an octave.

"Chill Jay, hold on," Cole reached for the controls and attempted to clear the screen.

Ten second later Misako's voice blared out "Underworld, In a secret entrance - Bzzzt- Ninjago Cemetery, north side Bzzzzt-" The line went dead.

Lloyd felt uneasiness grow like a rock in the pit of his stomach, "Mom? Nya what happened?" He tried to forcefully keep his voice controlled, to act the age he looked... it was getting harder as panic started to constrict his throat.

Nya furtively tapped on the computer board, nothing happened, "I don't know guys..." She spoke slowly and slightly afraid.

"Where was Misako?" Garmadon seemed to be the only one out of everyone that had kept his composed face and voce, though the paleness that was ensuing was saying he felt otherwise.

"She said something North Cemetery... " Cole cleared his throat, nervously pushing his black bang out of his eyes.

"I suggest we go there then." Zane straightened as the others nodded, with a mutter of agreement.

"Hold!"

All stopped and turned towards Sensei Wu.

"Listen carefully, I doubt that whatever Misako has found can be good, be carful and THINK before you jump. Understood."

"Yes Sensei." All replied in Unison.

"Be carful Lloyd, do as your uncle said." Garmadon placed a sturdy hand on his sons shoulder.

Lloyd nodded firmly, hugged his father and ran after the other Ninja.

"Be carful, " He heard Nya whisper as they left.

The way things were looking they would have to be more then carful, that was for sure.
