A/N) Heres another chappie for you all. Hopefully I'll get more feedback on this one, or the whole story in general.

Have fun!

They didn't stop. They ran all the way home, literally.

The sun was incredible, it was bright, warm, the sky made them feel as if they could fly. Their darkness surrounded bodies, felt like they would explode from utter relief of freedom.

Each had his joyous thoughts and his heart would grow lighter with each second, the further that horrid place was the happier they became.

Their lungs felt refreshed at being able to breath in the clean, cool air instead of the dank, musty suffocation they endured underground.

Finally they reached the monasteries gate and stopped to breath and discuss just what they had seen and if it helped anything.

Misako smiled now, still without her glasses but could see ten times better up here then underground, "Look what I found boys. A dusty old scroll hidden in that hole I was thrown into after that vile man captured me." She pulled out a time darkened parchment and unrolled it carefully.

They all crowded around to see.

"What does it say mom?" Lloyd wondered out loud.

His mother shrugged, "I don't know I'm afraid. This language is old and needs some time to translate, but I am sure it will help us when it is." She placed a firm hand on her sons shoulder, partly for balance, and partly for reassurance.

"All right, that's a long term problem. Now, what about our immediate one?" Cole lifted his tired arms a little to adjust his passenger.

The others blinked, forgetting he was carrying anything.

"Oh... right. Now where did you find her?" Kai asked rubbing his messy hair.

"Uh, I don't think that matter guys, she'd been like this for who knows how long and I am not adoring this being covered in someone else's blood thing so if we could just..." Cole ranted, his impatience building up as he spoke.

"We'll take her inside, quickly." Misako settled it and they all grudgingly silent, followed her orders.

"Here sensei, drink this tea. My research shows it will make you feel better." Nya spoke softly as she placed a blue china cup in front of their adored teacher.

Sensei Wu smiled gratefully, "Thank you Nya, I'm sure I'll be feeling my old self again soon. Garmadon, would you like some?"

Garmadon was busy muttering and pacing in impatient agitation back and forth in front of his brother, with his hands clasped behind his back, he didn't seem to hear his younger brother as he looked occasionally outside his brows furrowing in worry.

"Where are they? They should have been here by now." He mumbled shaking his head.

"Don't worry Sensei Garmadon, I'm sure their fine. After all their ninja and knowing them, the most stubborn and resourceful bunch of guys I have ever-

"Nya!" Jay burst into the room with excited eyes and light skipping steps, so happy at being able to see her again, after all those horrid thoughts and fears of never being able to again.

He threw his arms around her and practically swooped the shocked girl off her feet in happiness.

"Jay! What- what's- whoa!" She yelped then laughed as he dipped her and kissed her cheek affectionately.

Somebody cleared their throat causing them both to look up and Nya to have a blush sprinkled across her face as her brother stared at her and glared at Jay.

Jay could have cared less.

Nya then noticed Cole and his... passenger? Her brown eyes widened as she pushed Jay off and straightened, questions writing themselves on her face.

"It's a long story and only Cole has that part of it, but..." Kai trailed off as he watched his tired friend set the wounded girl down onto Nya's infirmary cot.

Nya nodded, understanding that this would be explained later. Her sensitiveness grew in her chest and she went over instantly to try and help the hurt girl.

After a quick but efficient clean she began studying the wounds. Most weren't pretty bad, they weren't good either but at least they didn't look half as bad as the ones on the girls back. those where deep, burnt mark, gashes, that was going to scar forever. If she survived anyway.

Nya quickly kicked everyone out except Zane and set to work cleaning and stitching the young girls wounds.

The others waited and discussed what and who this girl was.

"Seriously Cole. Where did you find her." Jay asked pushing his hair back to fix the messy strands.

Cole took a deep breath as he pulled of his bloddy shirt, "Look, she was in the hole I fell down in and I kind of... stumbled across her. She wasn't hurting anybody and she seemed hurt real bad so I decided to be a good hero and take her with us." He crumpled up his shirt and threw it down a laundry chute.

The other's blinked in silence.

"Soooo, you don't know who she is or where she comes from is that it." Kai stated, leaning against the wall, fatigue taking it's toll on his body.

Cole nodded slowly, not saying anything.

"Well whoever she is, I suppose you all owe her your lives then." Garmadon pointed out simply, after understanding the story.

The ninja shrugged.

"I guess so dad." Lloyd ran a hand through his blond hair, making it even more unruly.

Misako smiled, "Well at least if we can fix her she might be able to tell us who she is herself," she said as she subconsciously smoothed out her sons hair.

Cole had grown unusually quiet during this time, leaning against the wall, his arms crossed over his muscled chest. He stared into space his thoughts starting a war with each other and his conscience.

You should tell them...

Tell them what?

You know what, that that 'girl' as you put it is really that phsyco nuts slave and shadow person.

I... I should but...

But what? They won't know? Their your friends, family. You know if you don't it'll make things worse for you and they may never trust you again and-

Forget it. I will, eventually but first we have to get something out of her without making them act suspicious and... and stuff.

You are going to be so-

"Guys?"

Cole straightened and snapped out of his argument with himself.

"We patched her up... what do we do now? She's pretty stable but kind of unconscious now. So?" Nya raised a questioning brow at them all. As Zane stepped out drying his hands on a white towel.

"I just thought of something." Jay spoke up, snapping his fingers as if a light bulb had lit up, "This girl was in that freaks dungeon like place right? All wounded and such, so what if she knows something we could use, that's why that Dyron creep did that to her."

The others all thought slowly then, one by one agreed.

"So, your saying," Cole clarified, "That she could have answers."

"Bingo."

They all turned to look at the lying figure.

There lay their answers.

It had been about three days and their 'guest' was still out. Nya had said that it would take time for her body to regenerate and get strong enough with the new blood it was making, because she lost so much.

Pretty soon, she was like another piece of furniture in their living room. None of them paid much attention, because it was kind of creepy to have an unconscious figure of a young girl in their house, so they all tried to ignore it as much as possible.

Cole was in the middle of a new recipe when he heard Nya shriek out from the living room. Naturally everyone in the house came running in to see if she was ok.

She wasn't really though.

Jay's blue eyes widened as he saw Nya rubbing her head on the floor, next to her a huge crater sizzled.

"Nya? What happened?" Kai reached over and helped his sister up.

They young girl shook her head, "I don't know. One second I was checking the astronomy of the moon and stars the next my computer blew up."

Jay hugged her lightly, trying to calm her some, "It's ok it was probably on overload of the system or something, you'll be fine and I'll fix it good as-"

A groan from across the room startled them all as they turned around to look. Nya rushed over towards the housing patient and checked her machines.

The girl shook her head slowly, her eyes flickered open, the sight she was met with was an array of faces, some looking worried, some frightened, others shocked...

She settled for the young girl with a small triumphant smile on her face.

She lifted her hand to her aching head, dizziness settling in making her head buzz.

"Whe-where... who are you?" She spoke, her voice low and slightly hoarse from not being used for so long.

Nya pushed some of the ninja side, "Hi, I'm Nya, the guys saved you and now your ok and safe. This is our home and your welcome to it for as long as you need."

Kai raised an eyebrow at his sister wondering why she was suddenly so chirpy about their unexpected house guest. But he didn't say anything.

The girls just stared at them as her vision cleared, she couldn't understand it. How did she get here? And weren't these the very people that her master wanted killed? Didn't they know who her master was? Her clearing eyesight told her they didn't or else she would probably be in a cage and locked up for questions.

"Are you ok?" Nya asked tapping her keyboard to search the health system.

The girl nodded.

"Do you feel any pain in any part of your body?"

She was about to answer no, when a slight movment caused her to cry out in pain and grasp her left side, curling over with a groan.

Nya jumped up and tried to check what the problem was but the girl coiled away thinking harmful thoughts.

"It's ok, I think it's just a deeper wound then the others, I guess the muscles there must have been torn. I suggest you don't try to get up any time soon on your own." Nya spoke as if she really was a trained doctor.

The girl stared, grinding her teeth to keep painful yowls at bay. She nodded slowly trying to mask the hurt, slowly the burning pain subsided and she didn't dare move too much after that.

Sensei Wu had just walked in when it happened so he made good on his hospitality, "You my dear, I imagine have a very interesting story. But until you feel better we won't make you tell it." This caused the girl to raise her brows, "Until then, you will be our guest and we will ALL," He emphasized 'all' for the benefit of his less trusting Ninja, "Make you feel comfortable."

With that he turned and hobbled back out with his cane.

Misako smiled and reached out to pat the girls dark choppy hair, she recoiled back instantly, out of mistrust. Misako wasn't hurt. Instead she understood.

"Come boys, let Nya tend to her. No use standing there gawking at her as if she was a museum exhibit" She tuned away and headed out the room Zane and Lloyd following her. Jay on the other hand had his eyes fixed on the injured girl, who glared back dangerously, daring him to say or do something. Nya was oblivious to this as she typed away at her computer.

Kai noticed his friends sudden intense study and decided he didn't like it, so to make a point he grabbed Jay by the ear and led him howling out of the room.

Cole watched with mild amusement until the girl caught his eye. She didn't glare at him, she didn't furrow her brows. She just stared, with a clear, unemotional face. Cole stared back, slightly uncomfortable by it.

After a few seconds she had a faint look of recognition in her eyes.

Cole gulped, could she know? Could she know that it was him that knew who and what she looked like before all this... He shifted uncomfortable, her eyes never left his.

He felt slightly like a small bug under a microscope.

"Well, see ya Nya." He called out to the distracted girl and shuffled out as fast as he could without looking as if his butt was on fire.

He closed the door and took a deep breath, "Man, that was... really weird."

It certainly was...
