A/N) Ok here's yet another chapter, thanks so much for all your support guys, this story is nearing it's end, I only hope I can finish it awesomely. Here's to it.
Have fun!
Ashlyn struggled against her bonds. She pulled yanked and kicked. But that wasn't helping anything. Some strange collar around her neck stopped her from using her formidable powers, her legs were chained and her neck and hands tied in a way where she couldn't move excessively either.
Croc dragged her against her will and threw her down on her face in front of Dyrons feet.
"So, my traitorous slave." Dyron bent down and yanked her head up by her hair, "This is where you are, back here. Just like before. Tell me slave, did you find anything better out there?" He hissed in her ear savagely.
Ashlyn gritted her teeth, refusing to give him the satisfaction of her crying out in pain.
"No. Pity, it would have been all the sweeter to crush you if you'd lost something better in your betrayal." He chuckled viciously at his own cruel joke.
He threw her back on the ground forcefully, her head hitting the rock ground with a sickening crack.
"Take her in the dungeon. But," He snapped, "Don't kill her... yet. I have a few more things to deal out upon her before she dies." he grinned maliciously, "See you soon. Slave."
Ashlyn, bit her lip shut as croc dragged her, bleeding head and all, out of the room and down into a dark dungeon... again.
"A week guys, one week left." Cole was pacing back and forth, "Why can't we find her?" He ran an irritated hand through his black hair his face twisted in a furious yet extremely worried scowl.
Jay sighed, "We tried to go back to that tomb place but..."
"It's like it disappeared or something." Kai finished looking at the maps that were all over the table.
Nya stepped up, she was paler then normal lately. She wouldn't tell anyone, but she felt extremely guilty over what had happened to Ashlyn. She let her horrible jealousy get the best of her... She could have had a best friend, but instead she choose to be a jerk.
With shaking fingers she tapped more coordinates on her computer. Suddenly she gave up, quickly she pushed the computer back, stood up and ran from the room, fighting guilty tears all the way.
All the boys stared after her, current plight forgotten and replaced by looks of confusion amongst each other.
Jay stood up, "Ill go talk to her." He ignored Kai's attempt to speak and followed after Nya.
Cole sighed, it really sucked when something happened to someone you cared about.
He shook his head.
Moving on.
Jay found her outside in the monasteries garden, staring at a tree.
He quietly walked up to her and sat down, folding his legs under himself, "Hey... Nya? I can't help but notice something's bothering you?"
He studied her unmoving face. It was paler then normal, she seemed to be fighting her tears over something.
Hum... this may be hard to get her to talk. He opened his mouth again, Nya suddenly let out a loud sob and threw herself into his arms which instinctively wrapped around her shaking form.
"Hey... come on Nya... you gotta tell me what's bugging you or else I can't help. " He spoke soothingly as she tried to collect herself.
"Oh Jay, it's my fault. I let Ashlyn get capture." She hid her face in shame.
Jay raised his scared brow at her, "What?"
She took a shuddering breath, "I was jealous of her ok." She finally admitted, pulling away ashamed, "You all liked her so much and you'd barley even known her. She had incredible skills, seemed drop dead gorgeous, and none of you even stopped to consider that maybe she-" Nya stopped herself, wiping her brown watered eyes.
Jay, wrapped an arm around her, "She?" He pressed.
Nya sighed, "Maybe she was the destined evil that was supposed to be worse then Dyron." There, she said it, she finally got it out with her horrible sucpicion. It felt worse now but... maybe this was for the best.
Jay looked at her calmly, "Ok first, nobody could ever take your place Nya. Second... why do you think that of Ashlyn? I know you Nya, even wrought with jeleousy you have solid reasons. Why?"
Nya looked at him, almost afraid to speak, "She had that mark... on the side of her neck."
Jay's eyes widened, "Oh... you saw that?"
She stared at him, "You've seen it?"
Jay shifted uncomfortably, "Y-yes..."
Nya suddenly realized that Jay knew more about this girl then he was telling, and that made her feel worse, "Jay.. how could you not tell anyone this!?"
Jay stood up awkwardly, "Well, I wasn't supposed to know and it was an accident..."
Nya's eyes widened, "What! How did you find out then?"
Realizing this situation was getting off topic, Jay began to pray for a miracle. Nothing he could say would make this better now.
"Jay! Nya!"
Miracle granted.
"Guys come on, Misako found something!" Kai left disappeared into the house as quickly as he burst out of it.
Jay breathed a sigh of relief as Nya followed behind her brother silently, forgetting Jay's words for now.
For now... those are the key words here.
"See, here this is what Ashlyn must have heard Dyron speaking about. This is where the evil queens magic was cast, this is where she was buried and it's also where-"
"She cast the curse upon Neero all those centuries ago." Garmadon finished his wife's words.
Misako nodded, "Yes, it makes sense that this is the place where the power can come to rise again.
Lloyd took the scroll from his mothers hands, "Then, lets go find it."
Wu stepped up placing a hand on his nephews shoulder, "Be carful my ninja, your mission is nearing end now. This may be the most dangerous part of it."
Neither Ninja heeded this warning.
"If that's where Dyron's going then that's where we're going." Cole sated firmly.
"Remember my friends, he could already be there. That may be where he's taken Ashlyn." Zane pointed out wisely.
Kai nodded, "Then, looks like we are definitely going."
"I'm going too." Nya spoke up.
Kai turned towards her, "Nya no, it might be too dangerous and-"
"NO!"
This sudden outburst shocked all listeners.
Nya, feeling her own force, composed herself, "I mean, no. I am going with you brother. I feel-feel responsible for this. Don't ask why. But you aren't going to stop me. If you won't take me then I'll go alone. Either way, I am coming to help."
Kai took a deep breath, deciding it was no use to argue, "All right then, but promise you'll stay close."
She nodded silently.
Cole took the deciphered map scroll from Misako's hands, "Then, let's roll."
They all agreed and disappeared heading down towards a very dangerous future.
The elders stayed behind, hoping, praying. Knowing that this 'mission' was going to be much more dangerous then anyone of them realized...
