AN: I'm back once again! I learned that I'm not the only one who loves the idea of holy resurrection, if somebody wants me to try drawing it let me know and I will. Thanks to all you followers and favoriters (I don't care if that's not a word, now it is) for reading, I won't let you down with these next few chapters.
Sallee: Every time I watch Return of the Jedi I imagine him doing that, so I decided to put it in here. In this chapter it'll show reactions, so get comfertable! When I'm done with this fic I'll put the name of my next story in the authors note so you can find it easily.
No more stalling, here's chapter seventeen!
(Luke POV)
You know that awkward moment when someone asks you if your father is your much taller twin? Probably not. I do. When Leia got us to the celebration one solider said, "I didn't know you had a twin Commander Skywalker!"
Leia gave me a look like 'If only he knew' and I responded, "We're not twins. DEFINITELY, not twins."
"Then what are you?"
"Father and son," Anakin answered casually."
"But Luke's far too young to have a grown up son."
Anakin face palmed and said, "No no no. He's MY son."
"How old are you."
"About two times Commander Skywalker's age."
"Oh, well this is awkward."
"Very awkward," Leia and I agreed at the exact same time.
Anakin, Leia, and I moved into the center of the festivities, to find Han and Chewie. An Ewok had attached itself to Han's leg, but after catching sight of my father it switched places.
"Can you decide who your leader is you little fuzz ball?" Han asked, "First it was Anakin, then me, thenā¦" he looked at the Ewoks' 'new' leader and said, "Who are you?"
Anakin cupped and hand around his mouth and started imitating Vader's breathing. "That ring any bells?" he asked sarcastically, playing with his hair a little.
Han looked him over a few times and responded, "Now I see the resemblanceā¦not. You look COMPLETELY different man. I'm not even 100% sure what you looked like before since you covered your face with that giant hood."
"Perhaps I had a reason for doing so."
"You said 'perhaps', you're definitely Anakin. How did you do it anyway?"
I gave him a mischievous look and he added, "On second thought, I don't wanna know. Skywalker stuff is always messed up."
"You're going to be one soon enough," Leia teased.
"Don't remind me, I'm scared my kids will end up with buckets on their heads swinging glow sticks around," Han responded.
The visual popped into my head, and it was quite amusing. I could see Leia and Han chasing the kids, Anakin begging them to wear any bucket color other than black, and me unclogging a toilet with the force. Random, but possible. For now, my future is trying to explain to the world that I don't have a brother.
The Ewoks had turned stormtrooper helmets into drums, that worked surprisingly well. One Ewok began to break dance, which was really funny. A fluffy tornado almost knocked me over. After that I found myself being dragged away from the fire in the center, which was no surprise.
"Father you're being paranoid," I said.
"No I am not. I'm simply making sure you don't meet my fate." Anakin retorted, shuddering at life scarring memories.
"Remind me to not light the candles on your birthday cake," I added. He nodded in agreement and let go of me.
Eventually the celebration died down, and Leia went to discuss our next move with the rest of the Alliance High Council. I was really tired, from fighting the Emperor to avoiding head-spinning teddy bears. I'm guessing using chosen one powers is even more draining, because the chosen one himself could barley stay standing.
"Now do you need those crutches I mentioned?" I teased him.
He didn't notice that I was kidding, and yawned, "Yes."
I laughed and offered, "Should I be your human crutch since we don't have any?"
"Su-" his answer was cut off my him drifting to sleep right there. I took it as a yes, and for the second time today, carried the older Skywalker to a bed.
AN: Sorry if it was too short! Things are kind of settling down this chapter, but soon enough there will be a problem, which'll bring my chapters back to normal length, so don't you worry!
