Hey everyone, I know it's been awhile since I last updated and I apologize. Work, school, and personal matters popped up but have been resolved for now, hopefully I can now focus on writing and finishing this bad boy. Unfortunately senior year in highschool won't be time friendly but I will definitely try to update sooner than I have been. The support for the last chapter was great and I appreciate your patience, thanks so much! - Rin

Chapter 11-

Cari's POV:

"LET ME OUT!" I yelled and banged my fist on the door of my holding cell.

There was a loud bang that made me take a step back and the gruff voice of a soldier told me to shut up.

"MAKE ME!" I bellowed back, and kicked the metal door so hard that I stubbed my toe.

As I thought no reply left the guard outside and I was left in silence once more. I growled and paced in front of the small chair and table that were the only other things in the cell besides myself. Two half drunk bottle of water sat on the table and wobbled everytime I purposely kicked the table as I paced. This produced a solid, satisfying, clang that I knew made the guards outside want to shoot me.

"Would you stop that!" Simmons grumbled from the floor

It also made Simmons want to shoot me to.

For the past day we had been stuck in the holding since Simmons and I had been discovered. It had blank walls and only the metal chair and table for decor He had tried to pull the whole "Sector- seven-and-neice " thing but the soldiers and Galloway had immediatly recognised me as the girl wanted by the Decepticons.

"There's nothing better to do!" I muttered back and finally sat down in the chair, flicking my water bottle over so it rolled off the edge of the wobbly table.

Simmon's rolled his eyes and went back to staring at the ceiling. "How about trying to figure a way out of this lovely situation?"

I folded my arms on the table top and put my head on them.

"How? I'm wanted all over the world by the FBI, CIA, and killer alien robots. AND not to metion I'm in a holding cell in a high security military base with guards and security cameras!"

"Okay, not my best idea but at least you must have some sort of story to tell these guys?" Simmons didn't look away from his intense study of the ceiling.

"It's not a story, it's the truth. My friend and I were sucked into this alternate dimention, she for the second time. Now for whatever reason I have alien symbols zapped into my head that point to a mystical device that the Decepticons want." I said, flicking at some speck on my arm.

There was an awkward amount of silence and I looked up to see Simmons looking at me incredulously.

"O...kay not what I was expecting but..really?" he asked, raising an eye brow.

I simply nodded when, suddely, the door of the cell opened with a clang.

Sitting up, I frowned at the sight of Director Galloway and four soldiers entering the room. For a minute he and my self had a stare off, which I won of course, before he addressed us.

"By now you know that you are wanted by an alien threat Ms. Brown."

I didn't say anything but simply crossed my arms over my chest.

"They have demanded that you be handed over to them in exchange for the Earth being unharmed."

"Lovely, so I'll go straight into hiding them?!" I said in a false chipper tone.

Galloway's stoney face didn't change, "No..."

I felt my heart skip a beat and two of the guards approached me with a pair of hand cuffs. Desperately I looked for any means of an escape but before I had a chance to run the guard's strong hands grabbed my arms and cuffed them behind me.

"NO! You can't just comply with the Cons! They won't spare the Earth just because of me, they plan on blowing the Sun up. That means the Earth is in danger to!" I screamed as the guards half dragged me out of the cell, the other two keeping Simmons restrained.

"We have limited options Ms. Brown but you assume too much." Galloway grumbled and led us all out into a hallway.

"You mean...I'm not going to be exchanged?" I stopped my attempt to bite the soldier's gloved hand.

"Not right away, but you are going to have contact with the enemy." the director turned a corner and led a way down into a huge hanger his face as stoney as ever.

I gasped as I saw the large carrier plane, roters turning as it's engines started up.

"I'm...BAIT!?" I gasped.

Galloway didn't answer and that was all I needed to confirm my worst fears. Cause if I knew anything I knew that the decepticons would hate to be tricked, and when they get mad...they ended up getting what they want in the end.

Sam's POV:

I moaned slightly as turbulence hit the plane, making it rattle and shake. Gripping my stomach, I tried to focus on not throwing up. I had never been when it came to certain types of movement. Spinning rides at amusment parks, reading while driving, and flying in planes never seemed to agree with my stomach. A burp escaped my mouth and I groaned once more, ignoring the looks that I got from the soldiers.

"Crapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrap..." I muttered and closed my eyes, trying to ignore the slight up and down motion that the plane had now taken on.

"Sam, are you alright?" Lennox asked, sitting two men away.

"I've never been good will air travel." I said back, keeping my eyes closed and my breaths deep.

"Ratchet and the others should have come." I continued, sliently cursing Galloway's stupidity.

"The goal of this mission is to secure the Matrix of leadership, and even though the Director is...difficult..." Optimus said, though he hesitated when describing Galloway.

I smiled,iIt was odd to think that Optimus could still talk even when in vehical form, it didn't feel as strange talking to something that seemed more familar than a giant, robot alien.

"I do not wish to be forced to hurt your species, it is better that we go than no one go at all." the semi finished.

"Even if Galloway is jerk?" I peeked open and eye to look at the truck which stayed silent.

Whether because he didn't have an answer or if he just agreed with me I couldn't tell.

"Why is it that everytime we think this'll go sooo smothly it ends up going to hell?" I grumbled, shifting in the uncomfortable straps of my seat.

Next to me in the carrier plane Michael shrugged and Leo simply just shrugged. In my mind I had imagined myself and the big Peterbilt semi flying to Egypt, getting the Matrix whatever, and then easily defeating the Decepticons before anyone else got hurt. Unfortunately it was never going to be that simple.

Galloway had ordered that our cargo plane land at a secure military base in Egypt and then head out to wherever the Matrix was. I hadn't gotten the point of all the soldiers having to come with us but Lennox had explained that Galloway didn't trust myself and the truck to get there by ourselves.

'Babysitters...' I grumbled as another bout of turbulance made me lea ton hug my stomach tighter.

All of a sudden there was a loud squeal over the intercom and a voice came through with a slight crackle.

"Engine malfunction."

"What!?" I gasped and looked over at Lennox.

"Oh." was all he said and if anything relunctantly stood up.

"We're going to have to divert to SOCCENT. Prepare for bail out."

"Alright team, get your chutes!" Lennox shouted to the group of random soldiers that Galloway had sent with us.

"WHAT!?" I yelled as the cargo lift dropped down to let in a rush of hot air into the inside of the plane.

Lennox turned and gave a slight wink in my directed and motioned for us to stay seated.

"What is happening Major Lennox?" the leader of Galloway's soldier's demanded while having a parachute pack shoved at him.

"You heard the pilot. These guys don't mess around, we've gotta get off the plane."

"What about the truck and civilians?" the soldier said disbelieveing.

"They'll get off once you're on the ground to receive them. Don't want the special cargo to get lot in Egypt before you even touch the ground." Lennox said and I could see him holding in a smirk.

The group of soldiers seemed reluctant to leave their "prisoner" but as another warning from the pilot came over the intercom they began moving to the back of the plane. One by one they lept out into the whipping wind until only Lennox, Leo, Michael, Optimus, and myself remained.

"And that's how you get rid of unwanted company." Lennox grinned as the back of the plane closed up once more and cut off the wind.

"What's Galloway going to say?!" I asked, slightly afraid of the whole idea of treason.

"His soldier's will have to explain to him first how they got separated. We have a little bit of time before it comes to that, but I really hope you know where we need to go." the soldier said.

I allowed myself a grin, "Petra. We need to get to Petra."

Cari's POV:

"LET GO!" I bellowed, trying to wrench my arm out the grasp of a soldier.

But his fingers were like iron clamps as he brought me out of the holding cell and walked me down out of a larg building. He kicked open the door and I had to shut my eyes against the blast of hot wind and blinding sunlight that came through. I was pulled through roughly and I heard the door slam behind us.

Slowly, my eyes ajusted and I felt my jaw drop slightly. I new that we had gone somewhere in the carrier plane but I never guessed that we had traveled so far. All around were massive sand dunes and the sun beat down with hellish intensity.

"Welcome to Egypt Ms. Brown." I looked over to see Galloway standing smugly to my right with a pair of buff soldiers armed to the teeth with guns.

The man who held my arm finally let go and I held it close; rubbing my other hand along my sore arm.

"That's gunna bruise..." I muttered and gave the guy a glare.

But, before I could even do anything a pair of handcuffs were clamped over my wrist and one of the two Galloway guards pulled me forward.

"Why!? I just want to go find my friend and go home!" I shouted at Galloway as I was led to a large square of asphalt that has streams of windblown sand rush across it.

"Ms. Brown, you are the reason those Decepticons have come back. We have no plans on letting them take you..." Galloway said and for a second I felt slightly better...for a second.

"But if you are the key to getting their leader to get close enough to shoot then, well, consider this your duty to your country." the director said and waved me forward.

I was roughly pushed to the center of the large landing pad and surprisingly the soldier started backing away. At first I thought it was my chance to escape...but then I saw the two silver shapes flying towards me.

Low and fast the two shapes grew fast, very fast, as they approached and I unwillingly took a step back as a rush of hot wind came up.

"Decepticons..." I breathed and was about to run when the two Cybertronians came crashing down in front of me.

"You little insects have brought her!" Megatron's voice rumbled through the air.

Behind me I could hear the soldiers shouting to themselves but Galloway's voice cut through their chatter, telling them to quiet down.

I stared at the huge silver robots that stood before me, Megatron of course I had seen before, but the other I was if anything more afraid of.

"Fallen..."

"You, female, have something of mine!" the leader of the Decepticons rumbled, his foot coming down right in front of me.

I gulped, the hot air drying out my throat, making me unable to speak.

"I..."

"Now!" the cry went out from Galloway and that's when I knew what their plan was.

An high pitched whine whistled through the air and then a missile explosded into the Fallen's shoulder. Seconds later another exploded at Megatron's feet making him roar in rage.

"You stupid apes are nothing!" the Fallen bellowed and stabbed his staff into the ground.

A shockwave of pure energy went out, knocking myself and all the soldiers off their feet and even making a few fly into the side of the military base. Then, a giant metal claw went out and grabbed me around my waist.

I screamed as I was whipped around fiercely and the Fallen took off into the air.
