AN: Hi again guys! I heard my question was really hard, it is for me too. After a lot of thinking, I decided my favorite quote overall has got to be "I am a Jedi, like my father before me". Luke had a lot of really good lines in Return of the Jedi, such as "I've accepted that you were once Anakin Skywalker my father" and "Then I guess my father is truly dead." Or I just like redemption.
KenSNJ: He was singing a Justin Bieber song, mostly because that song really gets on my nerves and it's great comedic material.
AmyMilo: Originally this fic was going to be all tragic and depressing like it would've probably been if it was canon, but then it got a mind of its own. Choosing a favorite quote was hard for me too. I'm glad you like the story.
Nataly SkyPot: Thanks!
Here's the chapter! Only own the OCs!
(Luke POV)
Only one question came to my mind right now. How'd I end up in a tree? And what kind of parent lets their son sit in a tree looking for suspicious activities? The same kind who's old prosthetic leg was still in pieces on the Twilight. Anakin no-middle-name Skywalker is a VERY UNIQUE person. But that's how I'd like to keep him.
Han was in a tree near mine, large clusters of branches hiding us. Just when I was about to fall asleep (according to Han I've slept in much stranger places than dead trees), I heard footsteps. Han and I shared a look, and that single glance said a hundred words.
On the ground below us, was a group, being led by a dark cloaked figure. 'At least there's not freaky breathing,' I thought to myself.
*What was that about my breathing?*. Uh oh, my thought reached my father's mind.
*Nothing,* I quickly responded.
The rest of the group was in Imperial uniform. Their pants were so tight! It was ridiculous.
"It's time we made our first move men," the leader began, "though the Emperor is dead and Vader's gone rouge, the Empire shall live on. Vader has no clue about this, so he won't be able to blab and ruin or plans. Now we need to hit the Rebellion where it hurts the most, take out their star players. Without their symbols of hope gone they'll lose confidence, and that's when we'll take them down!"
I had to hand it to the Sith guy, that was a pretty well thought out plan. But there was one flaw. Vader would be able to blab about it, 'cause I was gonna tell him. Han and I exchanged a "not for long" look, then I relayed their plans to the master of leather pants himself.
*I would not "blab", I would share the information in order to prevent disaster,* was my father's annoyed response.
*This guy's words, not mine* I replied and severed the mental 'chat zone'.
"Sir," one officer said, "Vader's got powers. What if he read your mind already?"
"Then my master will take care of that. But for now, we must prepare the place of leader for him." Sith guy answered.
"Yes sir!" the rest of the group answered, and they walked into a cave.
Minutes later, I saw a STAR DESTROYER FALLING OUT OF THE SKY! I almost fell out of the tree, and when I turned around I found that Han wasn't so lucky.
"Holy $&#%! Luke are you seeing this?" Han yelled.
From within the cave, I heard someone say, "Sir, t-t-th-that's not ours."
Han's eyes widened, and I'm guessing mine did too. It was coming right towards us!
"RUN!" I screamed, and hoped the Imperials hadn't heard me over their own screaming.
Han and I took of faster than you could say "I am your father." I almost ran into a tree once or twice. The wind was slapping me in the face but I kept on going. Eventually Han and I collapsed, and watched as the giant ship collided with the land…and didn't get damaged at all. Wait, what?
I unclipped my lightsaber from my belt, and slowly walked towards the ship.
"Hello?" I said once I boarded, "Anybody in here?"
After a few seconds there was a reply, "Yes young Skywalker."
I jumped slightly, "How do you know who I am?"
"The force. By the way, congratulations on redeeming your dad."
"How'd you know about that?"
"Do I have to say it again?" he sighed, "You really are your father's son."
"Part of me's hoping he isn't his father's son," Han commented.
I glared at him, "Shut up. I'm not going to become Darth Vader Jr."
The person on the ship walked towards us and said, "We can only hope." He was a Trandoshin (I may've spelled that wrong) in Jedi robes, probably around my father's age, though my father looks half his age. "I'm Jossk, a Jedi who survived the purges. I knew your father from his legendary pie wars at the temple."
"PIE WARS!" Han exclaimed, "that guy is full of surprises."
"LIFE is full of surprises Han, surely you've figured that out by now," I said.
AN: I got another question, and this one's not as hard…maybe. Who is your favorite Star Wars character and why?
