Author's Note: Hey guys, I'm back! I'm sorry I updated a little late than I had wanted, but, um, here I am now!

Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto

Naruto

The last thing I remember was running out of that restaurant as fast as I could. I had nothing to say. Was it because I thought it was true? For over a year, how blinded was I? woman who loved me since we were children. The one I never noticed. Never acknowledged. Is that what broke you?

I was an idiot for not realizing sooner.

For not realizing you loved me.

And at that time

I was too oblivious to notice

That I loved you too.

"W-Welcome home, N-Naruto-kun." Hinata always greeted me when I had returned from my mission. She always had, and I didn't understand why. Even when I came home late there would be a hot meal waiting for me. I had asked her to watch my house while I went out on missions, and she never turned me down once.

"Hinata! You're still here." I would tell her, even when I knew she would be waiting.

Only this time, she wasn't home waiting for me.

I walked in to find it empty, and cold. There was no meal waiting for me, and no Hinata. I called out to see if she had fallen asleep somewhere, but I couldn't find her. So I found myself walking to her house. Memorizing the way from all the nights I walked her home.

"Naruto." Ko acknowledged me when I got to the Hyuga estate.

"Oh, hey. I came to see Hinata. Is she okay?"

"Lady Hinata is not feeling well. I'm sorry, but you can't visit her today."

"Why not?" I asked. I had this urge to make sure she was okay for myself, even in her own home.

"Father, please. Father! I tried, please!" I looked past Ko to see Hinata's dad walking into the courtyard followed by Hinata.

"You're pathetic! First you lose a match to your younger sister, and now you beg me to give you another chance! After I've given you so many! What I said is set in stone! Hanabi is the heir, and if you do not marry to another clan of wealth, then I will disown you." Hiashi's words were cold, like his demeanor. Hinata spoke of him frequently. Defending him by saying things like, "He's only harsh on me because he cares." But in truth, he was a dick.

"P-Please, Father! I-I trained and trained. I-I've gotten stronger, Father! N-Neji-nii-san has been teaching me!"

"And yet you still haven't become much."

"Hey! Hey!" I called out. I was furious because I knew Hinata worked so hard, and her Father still treated her like shit.

The both turned to look at the gate that blocked me from entering. "Hinata is strong! You're just too blind to see it! Hinata has come a long way just to impress you, and you still think nothing of her! She's always defending you, but you're just a big asshole!"

"You little shit." He muttered.

"N-Naruto-kun."

"You think you can insult someone like me, and get away with it, Jinchuriki? Hinata's busy fawning over you when she could be training!" Hiashi yelled to me. I was about to fight back, but I saw Hinata giving me a look that begged me not to do it. So I backed down.

"You could've been the heir if you had spent all your time training instead of wasting time with him!" I watched Hiashi storm back inside with my fists clenched. Hinata cautiously walked up to the gate. "Are you okay, Hinata? I came because I was worried, and I guess I was right to."

"Go home, Naruto." It was one of the first times I had ever heard her without her stutter.

"Hinata."

"Go home."

But

You are home.

Sakura

It was already dark out, and Naruto still hadn't come home. I took the day off of work just for him. I wanted to spend time with him since Hinata had that mission, and Naruto wouldn't blow me off. But I ended up waiting for him all day. Flipping through meaningless channels on his worn out couch. At some point I had given up. I had to know where he was. Hinata had left for her mission in the early morning, so is he avoiding me?

I knew where I had to go. Hinata's place. Sasuke had pointed out her apartment to me before, and I haven't forgotten it since. It was a small apartment complex that someone like me would've never noticed. She probably picked a place where the rest of us wouldn't suspect. It was smart of her, and I never regarded Hinata as someone who was stupid.

"Get outta here you brat!" I was nearing the apartment complex when I heard yelling, so I ran to see what was going on. It..It was Naruto.

"Hinata! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to do it!" I watched horrified as Naruto yelled out to Hinata's empty apartment. The landlady was yelling at him with a broom in hand threatening to hit him. Is he drunk?

"Hinata isn't home right now!" The landlady started hitting him with her broom, but he was acting like he didn't feel a thing. I ran up to her, "I'm so sorry, is my idiot friend bothering you?"

"Dr. Haruno! This Naruto boy is piss drunk! Hinata isn't even home! I saw her leave this morning, and she hasn't returned since!"

"Yes, I know. Please excuse him, I think she rejected him when he asked her out on a date is all. He does this a lot actually." I lied with the sound of Naruto's ongoing apologies in the background. I grabbed his arm before he actually noticed me, "Oi, Sakura! What are you doing here? You came to see Hinata, too?" I quickly hit a pressure point so that he would pass out, and shut up already. I held him up with one of his arms around my shoulder before he could fall to the ground.

"Hinata doesn't talk much, very quiet most of the time. But she is very beautiful, so I know why this Naruto boy is so mesmerized. But you and him are kind of a thing right? I remember you were the talk of the town when you two started going out. Oh, but there was a scandal going around saying you were going out with an older man for his money—." She stopped when she realized who she was talking to. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to offend you."

"It's fine." I reassured her, but honestly it wasn't. I denied the scandal, and struggled home with Naruto's weight pressuring down on me.

How many people knew the truth?

Hinata

"Water Style: Surface Slicer!" Manami yelled out. I moved out of the way as water began slicing the earth. Akari followed in pursuit, "Fire Style: Flame Bullet!"

I cut through with one of the katana in my hand. I looked up to see Manami jumped to attack me from above, "Water Style: Ripping Torrent!" I saw a spiral of water coming at me before cutting through it, and jumping right up to Manami. Before she could recover I flipped so that I was behind her before stabbing her right in the chest with one of the katana. She let out a yell before I kicked her to the ground.

"Manami!" Akari yelled out. She looked back at me with much more intent to kill in her eyes.

She repeated the jutsu from earlier, but I quickly moved until I was right behind her. Before she knew it the katana pierced through her back too.

"Not bad. Not many targets are as challenging as you." Amami called out not even flinching at the fact three of her men were dead.

"I'll take this easy. Her pungent odor is enough motive to kill." This girl was Kaori. Her long blonde hair decorated with a flower crown.

"I'll back you up." Daichi spoke up. Cracking his knuckles as he stepped next to Kaori. "Don't worry about it." She gave a sly grin before she bit her thumb, and whipped out a scroll, "Summoning Jutsu: Venus Flytrap!" The ground shook a bit, and soon enough a giant flytrap emerged from the earth.

"My pretty friend here enjoys eating pests. Especially ones that stink like you." She snapped her finger, and in an instant the venus flytrap was heading towards me. It moved so fast before I could even blink I was in it's mouth. I tried to move, but I was stuck to the walls of it's mouth. I looked around for means of escape, but I was stuck. I could hear Kaori's laughter from the outside, "Shoulda used me from the start. Right, Amami?"

I felt the flytrap start to digest, a cycle that usually took about three days was occurring in about three minutes. I took this as my chance, and as I was slipping down the stem I cut my way out. I gasped when I finally reached fresh air. The venus flytrap was screaming out in pain, but I forced my way out. Kaori's laughter stopped, "Venus!" she cried out. Venus disappeared back into the dimension it came from, and Daichi didn't hesitate for a second, he quickly yelled out, "Earth Style: Mud Wolves." Suddenly wolves started appearing from the earth. I gritted my teeth, and stood my ground. The wolves came at me all at once, and I managed to destroy every one, but they kept recreating from the ground. I was being surrounded by the second, so I quickly jumped up, and threw a paper bomb to the ground. It went off in a matter of seconds, and I quickly teleported behind Daichi before stabbing him in the chest. He didn't even let out a cry, so it gave me time to run behind Kaori before the smoke cleared up.

Before I could stab her, a vine emerged from the earth, and threw me to a tree. "How stupid do you think I am, bitch? Tricks like that don't work on all of us."

"Your pungent odor comes from the lack of care for others you have. You kill without remorse, and don't have a second thought about your target's family and friends. That's why it's gonna feel so good when I kill you."

I quickly stood as multiple vines were shooting towards me. I dodged all of them, and ran straight towards her. Before she knew it I was grabbing her collar and I finally spoke up, "Caring is for people who are scared to die alone." Then I took the katana in my hand, and drove it in her neck.

Amami let out a laugh, and yelled out, "Kunjaku Hurricane!" I was knocked off my feet, and back into the tree. "You're much better than the Boss led on, but I'm afraid not as strong as me." I opened my eyes to see the katanas were still in the last two bodies. I could've tried to get them, and waste time, or I could use Byakugan. I chose the ladder.

"Byakugan!" I activated, immediately seeing all her chakra points. "From what I hear you can't really use that." Amami let out another laugh, and jumped down from the tree she stood from. "Gentle Step: Twin Lion Fists."

"Tempest Wind!" Again she tried cut me with air generated from nothing. I dodged most of them, and quickly moved behind her. I punched her, and continued to dig my fist into her chest until it pierced through. "Not as strong as you thought." I told her before pulling it back out. Blood covered me from fist to forearm. Katsuo revealed himself, "My subordinates were wrong to underestimate you. In return, they all ended up dead. I won't make that same mistake." I quickly moved to hit him but all he did was catch my fist. The chakra lions quickly faded. "Like you, my chakra levels have also been crippled. I turned away from jutsu, and learned to fight with my hands and feet alone. I knew you would've hit your limit by now." he took the arm he held, twisted it, and used it to throw me to the ground. The breath was knocked out of me when I hit the ground. He kicked me in the side, and I coughed out blood. I pulled myself up, and he threw a punch at my face. I dodged, and hit him in his stomach. He let out a grunt, and was about to hit me before I uppercutted him. He staggered backwards, and I punched him in the face. He tried to get hold, but I kicked him in chest to keep him from recovering.

"Gentle Step: Twin Lion Fists!" I yelled out again. The chakra surrounding my fists once more.

"W-What are you doing? I thought you were at your limit!" He stammered out.

"You see, the difference between you and I is that I don't have a limit." I stood in formation before yelling out, "Eight Trigrams Sixty Four Palms!"

I hit him with increasing force each time, the way Neji taught me. I combined the Twin Lion Fists with it, and ultimately killed him. I looked up with a final sigh, the sun was starting to go down, and I planned to head back to the village first thing in the morning. I was running a little late. I looked around to see only seven bodies. There were eight targets.

My Byakugan was still activated, but I couldn't find Isamu. Damn him. He had cloaked his presence. I closed my eyes and quietly listened for his movements. He's not going to attack me, he's always been a coward. I heard a bush move, and quickly teleported to it, grabbing Isamu by the collar. "Running from a fight, sounds like something you would do."

"Let's start simple: Why did you guys decide to go rogue?" I stood before Isamu. He was sitting in a chair that I tied him too. I had a table laid out with weapons for intimidation, mostly. He looked at me with a cold expression, "I don't have to tell you anything."

"You don't," I began before taking a kunai and sliding it across his bare torso, "but you will." He flinched at the pain. "I've had worse pain than that." He spat.

"Oh you have? Then let me just crank it up a notch." I answered. I took the kunai, and held it to the side, and slid it down so that I peeled off the skin. He let out a scream as I pulled out a lighter, and lit it. I ran it across the fresh wound just touching him with the flame, causing him to yell out louder.

"So, back to my first question: why?" I held his shoulder back, and ran the lighter across his wound as he continued to yell until finally he shouted, "Someone persuaded us!"

"Details?" I stopped to see if he was cooperating yet. He heaved heavily before he answered, "I can't say." I took the kunai, and peeled another area of his skin. He yelled out at the immediate pain. "Details!" I yelled again, bringing the lighter to it. "S-someone saved u-us. We're loyal to the Boss! We acted quietly, and then went rogue like Boss told us to do! Targeted targets that Boss wanted dead, or the one's holding information Boss didn't want to spread!"

"Who's Boss?" I let the flame flicker over his new wound. He begged for mercy saying, "Aren't we family, of the same blood? Stop please!" so I took the kunai, and stabbed it into him before dragging it across his body. I made sure it didn't kill him right away. He yelled out again, and I repeated, "Who the hell is Boss?!"

"S-Sakura Haruno!"

Author's Note: Okay, guys, so that was this chapter. Sorry it was filled with fight scenes instead of fluff. So, uh, I'll try better next time? Haha.

Oh, by the way, everyone's jutsu came from the internet on that wikipedia page about Naruto. That is except for Kaori's. That's because there was no 'plant' like chakra nature, so I just figured a summoning jutsu would do.

Okay, thanks for reading, everyone! I hope you enjoyed, and hopefully I'll update sometime next week!

Like it? Hate it? Let me know!

And again, thanks for reading!
