"That was fun." Mercy mumbled sarcastically.

"It wasn't that bad." Faith said, putting a glass of water to her lips.

"It wouldn't have been that bad if the twins didn't threaten me about telling their secret." Mercy huffed annoyed.

"What secret?" Faith tried to play casual, but was panicking inside. 'I guess I should tell her Haruhi's really a girl now.' She thought.

"I'm not even sure, but other than that it was okay. The rest of them are nice, Haruhi's really cute."

Faith froze, 'What! Does Mercy have a crush on Haruhi?' That thought frightened her and caused her to choke on the water, spraying Mercy in the shower.

"Ewww, Faith!" Mercy yelled.

"Sorry, well at least we're even for the time you dumped water on me." Faith coughed, slowly recovering from her shock.

"No, that was clean water, this is spit water." Mercy protested.

"That was ice water, we're even." Faith declared, Mercy grumbled but didn't say anything else. They took turns in the bathroom to shower and clean up. Mercy insisted to shower first since she was wet with Faith backwash, even though Faith got defensive about not having backwash. When they were both washed and clean, they sat down on the now-dry couch. Faith rested her head on Mercy's shoulder, willing herself to forget that comment. 'There's no way I'm telling her Haruhi's a girl until I know for sure that Mercy doesn't have a crush on Haruhi.' Faith decided.

"It's times like these that I wish we could afford to buy a TV." Faith sighed.

"I don't know about that, I'm having fun staring at the cardboard box you put up and drew on to look like a TV." Mercy disagreed. Faith thought there for a second-

"Hold on, I'll be right back." She said leaving. Faith came back with a pair of scissors and a bunch of socks.

"What the heck are you doing?" Mercy asked raising an eyebrow.

"Wait and see." Faith said as she headed out towards the box. She cut the front of it where she drew in a TV screen and cut it out. Faith then ripped the back of the cardboard box off so that you could see right through it. Placing it back down in the table, Faith smiled as she got behind it with the pile of socks. Mercy stared for a long time, waiting for Faiths next move, when Faith popped her hands up behind the 'screen.' Both her hands had different color socks on them.

"Who needs TV when you've got puppets" Faith said cheerfully. Mercy cracked up.

"You're such a freak" She laughed jokingly. Faith smiled as she made the puppets 'talk' in funny voices. They spent the rest of their night laughing with each other as they took turns with the puppets.

Getting up in the morning came a little easier for both of them as they got used to their schedule.

"You know, I think I'm finally getting the hang of where my classes are." Faith said, shoving a spoonful of cereal in her mouth.

"Really? It usually takes you a a few weeks to learn where all your classes are, and that's for regular school. This place is like 3000 time bigger than those schools, what makes you think you've got it in down?" Mercy asked skeptically.

"Well yesterday I only got lost 6 times and had to ask directions 4 of those times. I'd say that's pretty good." Faith stated proudly.

"Whatever makes you happy." Mercy rolled her eyes. Faith continued eating with a smug look on her face.

"So I spent all of my free time yesterday, thinking of where to move that table and came up with nothing." Faith sighed.

"That's what you spend your free time dong? You need to get a life." Mercy scoffed.

"Be that as it may, I've actually been incredibly busy as well. I haven't even taken out my scrapbook yet, in fact I've forgotten all about it." Faith moaned.

"Well nothing important enough has happened for you to scrap book anyway." Mercy said, trying to cheer her up.

"Right, nothing." Faith sighed, mindlessly. Mercy threw a newspaper in front of Faith.

"What's this?" Faith asked, picking it up.

"It has ads for places that need workers, we need to get jobs if we ever expect to pay for this place. Plus we need to get furniture, food, cloths, and other things." Mercy said, blowing a piece of stray hair back into place.

"And you expect to find a good job that will pay for all of those things in a news paper?" Faith asked skeptically.

"Well we have to start somewhere and that's it." Mercy said pointing to the newspaper. She got out of her seat.

"You can read through it when we get home, but we should head out now; we don't want to be late for the third day in a row." Mercy said, grabbing her bag.

"Okay." Faith agreed, she got up and threw on of the stray puppet socks into the corner. They headed out the door and started to walk to school. Neither Faith nor Mercy spoke a word as they walked to school, both of them not wanting to call a cab since they found the walk to help clear their minds. As they entered the school, they were surprised to see Kaoru and Hikaru standing in the entrance.
