Chapter Thirteen:
Elizabeth stood outside the cafe, the note in her hand and her eyes impatient to gather that image of Draco. They decided since Pansy was spending thursday with Theo, that they should go out as well. Elizabeth alerted Maybel that she would be spending a few days with Pansy and her household, and the elf was free to do as she wished while Elizabeth was gone. But not to appear around her brothers should they come home during the day while she wasn't there. They didn't live at the house, but they had a key and could come and go. She hadn't exactly told them about the house elf just yet.
Her fingers worried the parchment as she waited in her jeans and forest green, silk blouse for Draco to make an appearance. Just like that, she heard the soft pop of someone coming from the floo network of the cafe. Elizabeth turned antsy again to see Draco, but when he didn't emerge, she sighed and worried the parchment more.
"Are you ever going to stop turning yourself into a worry wort?" Draco snorted and Elizabeth whirled to the right. There he stood in a branded suit and tie and Elizabeth had to stop herself from slapping him hard for scaring her. Draco smirked and cocked a brow at her, as she silently fumed at him.
"Will… you… stop… that." She hissed with her teeth gritted. Only for an arm to be wrapped around her waist, then the other. His eyes looked down at her, only then to inspect her collar bone and arms. Elizabeth held still as he did so, unsure how to tell him how weird it may look to others.
"You look well." He sighed with relief at the healing patterns on my flesh.
"I'd hope so, Maybel has been fretting about me incessantly. She didn't want me to even leave the house till I looked back to normal." Elizabeth grumbled. Only, her dark tone was turned right around as the arms around her tightened and suddenly, she was swept up in a kiss. Draco's left arm kept at her lower back, but the other was instantly in her free flowing hair. His fingers tangled around her locks and pulled her flesh up against him.
A fire ignited in her stomach as a hand cupped his cheek and she could feel it. Her body shook and he wrapped her tighter. As if the air from his lungs would cease if he let her go. A light moan trickled across her lips as she pressed back, equally engaged. Like a switch, it was a harsh switch in her stomach and her brain. Electricity sparked through her body as he clenched down on her hair and tangled his fingers further.
Elizabeth gasped for air, a break of the kiss for only a moment, but he didn't let her get more than that. With little space, he pulled her back into another kiss and she was swept as he nearly broke her against him.
Finally able to pull back, she nearly had to shove him a few feet away. Her whole body ignited with fire and she clung to him desperately for support. Elizabeth was actually panting as he looked over her face with his icy grey eyes. He said nothing, but the hand that had been in her hair was now on her cheek.
"Come with me... " He whispered softly, his lips now brushed against hers.
"For what?" she teased, without realizing she was doing it. Her hips ground up against his without hesitation and now she could feel a more pressing matter against her. "Oh…" Her lips trembled as he nipped her lower lip.
"You can stop me at any time." He purred as he kissed her cheeks, and in a swift movement, he was untangled from her and tugging her with him. Elizabeth's heart was in her throat as she looked to him and the floo network they were being thrust into. It was too much, she didn't know what to say or how to deal or what she should do. All she could think of was the tingle in between her legs and the way his lips felt against hers.
Elizabeth completely forgot where they were going, until he slammed down the powder and with no effort, she was whipped in the flame with him. Her heart stammered out of control as she heard the words he'd said. Malfoy Manor.
Snape's words filled her ears.
Pawn stolen.
Knight to C4
Elizabeth gasped for air as she was whisked right into a large room with plush and lush everything. Her heart stammered as she looked around her. But there was little time to talk or ask questions. Because as soon as she turned to demand that Draco take her back, he was on her lips. Her worries were gone in a blurr of attraction as he walked her up against a cream colored wall. His hands found her hips and raised her up against the walls. Warmth filled her stomach.
Elizabeth needed to face her addictions and love sooner or later, or else she was going to have to explain her actions sooner or later. His hand was under her thigh as she spread them and easily wrapped them around him with her core tight and in use. Her hands gripped him for balance and desperation as he pinned her to the wall. Other hand mused with her hair as a deep growl broke through his throat and into his mouth.
Elizabeth broke the intensity just long enough for his lips to travel for her throat. His wand and his… wand… were prodding into her uncomfortably. Elizabeth brushed her hands between them to snatch it and move it, when her fingers brushed right at her core and she gasped harder. A chuckle passed through his kissed on her throat. His teeth demanded attention on her throat as she pressed her head back and was finally able to remove his actually wooden wand from her inner thigh. She held it for a second before he took it and wrapped it up in her blouse. Seconds later the thing was up and on the floor, his wand rolled on the mantel of the fireplace as the kiss grew more intense.
Thin fingers wrapped up in his hair, her lips parts in gasps for air and light mews of happiness as his kisses brushed her camisole straps aside and attacked her collar bone. He was actually at her breasts when his other hand found way inbetween her legs and up against her jeans. Off went her camisole and Elizabeth forcibly ripped his tie off his throat and forced his shirt to the ground. The room was too hot as he flipped down her simple black bra and his lips attacked her nipples.
Elizabeth's hips bucked against his and he growled and grabbed at her harder with his fingers digging into the underside of her thighs and into her rear. "Draco!" She gasped as the tingle between her legs grew more intense. His mouth was instantly detached from her breast and back on her already bruised lips. His hips ground up against hers as his hand left her thigh and went right back to where his lips had been just moments ago.
"Yes?" He murmured against her lips and she finally felt the build up in her throat break through. A moan left her lips.
"That's what I like to hear." He snickered as their lips barely touched, only stole breaths from each other.
"But not exactly what I wanted to hear." Elizabeth's heart went from steamy and in lust to cold fear that pulsed through her veins in frosty liquid. It spiked and stabbed at her insides as she turned from Draco's face and came close to nose's length from red eyes.
"Uh… Draco…" She whispered. His hand snatched up his wand and gracefully flipped her bra back up and over her.
"Don't stop on my account. I enjoy watching." The beast snickered with a wicked smirk on his lips. Elizabeth's eyes went wide as she turned to Draco. His once open and lusty face now cold and icy. Guarded again, he was thinking things she would never know. Elizabeth slowly unwrapped herself from Draco and stumbled to grab her camisole from the ground. Draco turned his back on her but only to give her a shield of sorts as she threw the cloth on.
"My Lord, I had no idea you would be back." Draco whispered.
"I'm curious… what would have happened in my absense." He replied just as cooly. Elizabeth was able to pull on her blouse in as much time for the pale snake of a man to cross towards her. There it was, his magic up against her like a hammer ready to blow down her walls. She was untrained, unable to keep him from seeing anything. Unlike Draco, Legimins and Occulmens was not her strong suit. But he didn't pry.
"Nothing, my lord." Draco added, he turned to try and pry himself between the two but Elizabeth shot him a look.
"Oh, really… so this must be the Marshall girl that Bella has told me about." He whispered as he circled her like a hawk. "Draco's spoken plenty of you. So you're the girl he's worked so hard to go out and see often."
Elizabeth stood still. Voldemort, the one many who was the reason for all her fear, all the reason she did everything she did, the reason she stuck her neck out, was standing just before her. Throat tight and unable to breathe, she nodded softly.
"Quiet little one, isn't she." Voldemort smirked.
"It is rude to speak against someone without knowing them." Elizabeth spoke coldly as she felt her courage and spark come back. Ice queen, back from her minor slip up, from her hasty recovery, she was back. Elizabeth pulled up tall and cocked a brow at him. "But I am by no means a quiet girl, or little." Elizabeth spoke up more firmly.
"Ah! Spark, I like that."
"And you must, unfortunately, like it as it leaves." Elizabeth stated cooly as she brushed past the two. "I must go home, I have many things to study." She was inches from freedom, her head held high as she brushed her hair from her shoulders, she was ready to go. Elizabeth contemplated asking Draco to go with her, but she held fast to her decision to walk away. No questions, no nothing, just grab the floo powder!
"Hold it." Elizabeth froze as she turned slowly to see the pale skinned beast that stood next to Draco. "Won't you give Draco a kiss goodbye." Draco's face contorted into that of dark anger as he stepped up to the brunette. Her eyes were a sharp ice blade against him as she stepped up against him. Draco's dark look melted into something of guilt and apologetic as she looked up at him. He swallowed hard as she put a hand behind his neck and pressed a sharp jolt of a kiss to his lips. There was a jerk of her body as she pulled back just as sharply as she had kissed him.
Frozen heart, she shot a look over Draco's shoulder at the Dark Lord.
Had she just seen the face of her murderer, or was she merely making out with the murderer who played puppet to this beast. The sickening look on his face as she pressed a kiss to Draco's cheek.
"I'm sorry." He whispered in her ear, his voice shaky and afraid of the repercussions. But Elizabeth wondered if he was afraid of her repercussions, or the Snake?
"He's going to demand me again." She whispered in his ear as she faced him again. "Good bye Draco." And with that she was sharply turned around and into the fire. She had a few words for Draco, a few sentences for herself, but only two letters for Voldemort.
One of them was F…
The other one was-
"YOU!"
~!~ ~!~ ~!~
Elizabeth stormed around the professor as she ripped through the house. "MAYBEL!" She snarled as she ripped her flats from her feet. A hand through her hair, she ruffled her own hairline as she walked towards the kitchen. The House elf instantly was there and she stood against the counter top. Her hands shook with many emotions that she'd frozen behind her heart, as she stood there. Eyes strained right through the stained glass of the kitchen.
"My lady?" Maybel whispered, her soft palm on Elizabeth's shoulder.
"Please escort Professor Snape from my home." She stated coldly, her eyes ever sharp and frosty. Maybel recoiled from the look and nodded curtly, just to avoid her mistress's gaze.
"You will not get rid of me, girl." Snape growled as she saw him in the reflection of the kitchen window.
"YOU WILL NOT INTERRUPT MY HOME WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!" Elizabeth snapped back even louder as she ripped around to face her professor. She curled her fists as she narrowed her eyes on him. There was a dead silence as Maybel poofed in the air, her smoke moved and she was then in front of the man.
"I believe it is in the best interest, for you to leave, Professor." Maybel whispered, her hands up in a sort of truce.
"You will hold yourself back, Elf." Snape growled as he dropped the stare with Elizabeth to Maybel.
"Maybel, excuse the professor. Use force if you need." Elizabeth spoke coldly, but without another word, she turned on her heel and stormed right out the kitchen door to the back yard. Snape went to follow, but the familiar pop of Maybel disappearing brought Elizabeth the bliss she had hoped to have. There was no need to have to deal with Snape, especially after what just happened. Obviously Snape would have heard, it was two hours after the event that she eventually flooed back home. She just didn't want to go straight to her fireplace, only to go to about three others just in case. But once she was home, she should have stayed out.
Elizabeth stood in the middle of the yard, her hands on her hips and her eyes strained to look out to the trees in the backyard. It was just about dinner time now and her stomach growled but she wasn't able to move just yet. A dark look on her face, she turned back towards the house and stormed into it, past the kitchen and towards her room. One moment and she was in the bathroom. She pulled her hair all the way down, she brushed it manically out around her shoulders as she looked at her darker blue eyes.
If Voldemort demanded her to join, would she be able to do so? Would she die if she said no… this wasn't like taking an extra class in Hogwarts. She needed help, and that hurt incredibly. Elizabeth wasn't keen on asking for help, but as she stripped of her clothes to pull on shorts and a tank-top, she couldn't help but see it as the only way out.
If she was to survive, she would need to do this. Elizabeth ripped to her room and yanked the quill from her table and smacked it down on the parchment rather half-hazardly. Would she regret this?
Probably.
But her life was worth more to her than her pride.
Knight taken.
