DISCLAIMER: Hey! Sorry that I haven't updated! I went to AWA (Anime convention) and didn't have time. It was amazing! I met the host club! Now I'm really determined to try to update sooner and improve my story! I love you!
Mercy groaned as she spotted Faith, still sleeping in their bed. Both Faith and Kaoru had been released the previous night, but now it was morning and they had to get to school.
"Come on! I told you to wake up!" Mercy said as she pulled the blanket off Faith.
"Agh, its cold." Faith said cuddling up in a ball.
"Too bad." Mercy replied as she started to hit Faith with a pillow.
"5 more minutes, mommy." Faith said, blocking the killer pillow.
"That is so unoriginal." Mercy laughed. After a few more minutes of coaxing Faith to wake up, they had gotten ready, shoved down their breakfast, and ran to school. Faith froze in place as she spotted the twins, blocking the entrance. Mercy noticed Faiths hesitance and pulled her arm for motivation.
"It's okay, there's nothing to worry about." Mercy comforted. Faith nodded as they proceeded forward.
"Hey, we were wondering when you would get here." Kaoru greeted. Hikaru just stood to the side, not making eye contact with anyone.
"Sorry." Faith muttered.
"You better be talking about making us wait instead of the car accident." Kaoru warned jokingly. Faith averted her eyes to the side.
"I told you, everything's fine so don't worry about it." Kaoru said cheerfully.
"Your right." Faith smiled half-heartedly. Mercy stood there, staring at Hikaru as he stared back. Not a word being past between them.
"Now, what we really wanted to talk to you about." Kaoru started. Mercy and Faith looked confused.
"We just wanted to confirm that we will still be coming over Friday. Just because you got my brother ran over, doesn't mean that you can weasel you way out of this." Hikaru grumbled.
"That is really what you wanted to talk to us about? You can still come over Friday, it's no big deal." Mercy said nonchalantly, even though she was freaking out on the inside. It was Thursday today, and she had missed many days of work for she was busy taking care of Faith and many other things that overwhelmed her life. Mercy desperately wished that she wouldn't get fired and that it would all work out. The bell rang, starting class. They all walked together to their first class, though all Faith could do was worry about what Ms. Yuri, the cruel senseless teacher, would do to torment her today.
"Are you okay? You say that you're over i but I can see that you're not. Why can't you just forgive yourself?" Mercy sighed at Faith.
"Because, look at Hikaru. He hates me and I don't know what to do about it! I almost killed his brother, I have no right to ask for their forgiveness but I can't help but want it." Faith whispered in misery. Mercy stared at her, not saying a word. When they got through their classes and it was finally time for the host club, Faith bounced in before being tackled to the ground, dragged into the dressing room, and fought for her life as the maids dressed her.
"Come on out." The host said as they tried to coax her out of the dressing room.
"No! This is worse than the first one." Faith complained.
"Come on, everybody's waiting for you. Besides, you have to pay your hospital debt off somehow." Kyoya smirked. Faith slowly opened the door, blushing once again, from the outfit the host had put her in.
"So cute!" Tamaki gushed at her. Faith felt like an idiot in the tiny girly maid's get-up they put her in.
"I feel like an idiot." Faith complained.
"You look like one too." Hikaru mumbled. Kaoru elbowed his brother softly.
"He's just kidding. It looks good on you." Kaoru smiled.
"Please, I've worn underwear longer then this!" Faith huffed.
"On a need-to-know bases please." Kyoya said, walking by with his clip board. Faith's face flushed red.
"Not literally!" She hastily corrected. The rest of the host chuckled at her. Faith spent the rest of her time at the host club, serving the guests and blushing while doing it. When it was time for her last class, she walked in with a fearful heart.
"Hey Faith" Haruhi greeted.
"H-hi" Faith whispered back.
"You don't need to worry, Ms, Yuri is absent today." Haruhi comforted. Faiths ears perked up.
"Really?" She asked, obviously relieved by the news.
"Yep" Haruhi smiled even though she felt a pang of resentment towards the teacher. School quickly ended and Faith ran out before anybody could stop her. She saw Mercy waiting for her like she usually did and ran up to her.
"Let's go" Faith said, tugging on her arm.
"Not yet" Mercy replied in a trance-like state. Hikaru and Kaoru came out and Mercy quickly walked up.
"Hikaru, can I speak to you?" Mercy's eyes flickered to Kaoru "Alone?"
"Why?" Hikaru asked suspiciously.
"Because I need to talk to you." Mercy replied, clearly annoyed. Faith looked confused.
"That's okay; I'll leave you two alone." Kaoru said. Faith looked at them in alarm, for she had no clue what was happening.
"Faith, you can just meet me at the house, this may take a while." Mercy said, expressionless.
"In that case, will you allow me to walk you home?" Kaoru offered.
"N-no, that won't be nes-" Faith was cut off by Mercy.
"Yes, that would be great thank you."
"What! B-but but, wait" Faith stuttered. Kaoru grabbed Faiths hand and dragged her down the stairs.
"Hikaru, see you at home!" He shouted behind him. Hikaru glared after Faith.
"You'll have to lead me there, I still don't know where you live." Kaoru said.
"R-right" Faith was panicking in the inside and had no poker face she could disguise it with.
'Why, why did Mercy do this to me? I don't know where to lead him!' Faith was freaking out on the inside, but she kept on walking.
"What?" Hikaru snapped at Mercy.
"Follow me." Mercy said, leading him off into the opposite direction that Faith and Kaoru went off in.
"I know that you're still mad and Faith and for some reason, she can't forgive herself until you do."
"Good, you wouldn't understand this but Kaoru is the most important person in my life and she almost took him away!" Hikaru yelled. "I can't forgive her for it, even if it was an accident."
"Do you want to know why she was in a trance? Why she couldn't think straight?" Mercy said softly.
"Because she's stupid and walks directly into traffic." Hikaru snapped.
"No, because she was unknowingly trying to kill herself."
