DISCLAIMER: Hey again. I honestly feel like it's taking me longer and longer to update. I'm really sorry about that T-T It's not like I don't want to update, it's just that I keep putting it off. Sorry, I hate it when people take forever to update and I am doing the exact same thing. Agh.

"Hey Daichi, look over here." Mercy said, pointing to an old building.

"Umm, Mercy? I think we may have wandered too far away. No one else is here; it's abandoned around here." He said uncomfortably.

"Yes I agree. It is a bit quiet but that's what makes it an ideal place." Mercy smiled. Daichi felt his stomach dropped from the suddenly hostile feelings he got from her.

"Now that I have got you alone." Mercy spun around and grabbed him by his shirt. She pushed him hard against the brick building and held him there, watching the panic pass through his eyes.

"I am going to ask this one time, so you better listen. Where. Is. She?" Mercy spat.

"W-where is w-who?" he asked, trembling.

"Do I look like an idiot to you? Do you really think playing dumb will work at this point? I suggest you cut the act and tell me before I lose it." She grinded her teeth, pushing him harder into the wall. Realization quickly flashed through his eyes and fear took over his body.
"F-Faith? I-I don't k-know. I-I was h-helping you l-look." He sputtered. The force of Mercy's punch caused his head to turn and crash into the wall.

"Do I look like I'm joking?! Where is she? Tell me or I'll-" Her voiced cracked mid-sentence. Daichi lifted his head and blood trickled down his cheek. He kept his head hung low and continued to shake and tremble.

"…..I…I-I'm s-so s-s-s-sorry." His voice was faint and broken. Tears streamed down his face.

"I don't care about your apologies! Where is she?"

"M-my a-aunt….M-Ms. Yuri. S-she-"

"What?! You're saying that psycho Ms. Yuri has her!" Mercy yelled.

"Y-yes…agh." Mercy smashed him against the wall even harder.

"You better not be lying." She threatened. "Where are they now?"

"I-I'm not s-sure. S-she just d-drove off with her." He stuttered. A tear slipped down his cheek and Mercy let go of him. She turned around and shook in anger. Mercy cursed loudly, punching the wall.

"I-I am so sorry." He cried.

"Don't apologize! Help me!" She screamed.

"H-how? How can I help?"

"Think of something because I swear your life does depend on it."

"Alright…."

(Ms. Yuri)

Ms. Yuri walked down the dusty little road to where Faith was hidden.

"That little brat better still be unconscious or else I might go crazy having to deal with her. Maybe I can get her a muzzle." She thought out loud. She put the key in the door and kicked it open. A cloud of dust and dirt flew into the air and Ms. Yuri tried in vain to fan it away from her. She took a few steps into the room and looked around.

"This place is a dump but it's still too good for her." She mumbled. Faith was curled up on the ground in the middle of the room.

"Hmm? Maybe that brat is still unconscious." She mumbled to herself. She walked over to Faith and kicked her until she turned over onto her back. Faiths eyes flew open and Ms. Yuri jumped back a bit before regaining her calm. Before she was able to make a snarky comment, Faith sprang up with eyes of furry. Ms. Yuri couldn't help but feel a bit intimidated by Faiths dark, soulless eyes watching her with such intensity.

"Don't try to threaten me. You are still tied up." Ms. Yuri said loudly, trying to regain her authority. Faith didn't reply. She only somehow managed to get to her feel and started pulling her hands apart.

"Ha! You don't really think that you can tear her hands free, do you?" Ms. Yuri's smirk started to disappear once she saw the tape starting to stretch. Eventually her expression turned to horror once the tape finally snapped and Faith's hands where free.

"N-no. NO! What kind of a freak are you?!" Ms. Yuri screamed. Faith didn't reply. She just concentrated on the tape on her feet and eventually that too was finally off. She was free. Ms. Yuri fell to her butt as Faith started to approach her slowly. She looked cold. Dead even. No expression on her face and empty eyes, she felt numb.

"G-get away from me!" Ms. Yuri screamed. Faith grabbed a long, sharp shard of glass she found lying on the ground and Ms. Yuri screamed louder.

"I-I never wanted to do this….To be like this. I even tried to fight it, but I guess I wasn't good enough." Her hands gripped the shard tighter and blood started to trickle. "Even the people that I love….I couldn't save them. All I do is let everyone down. Maybe I do deserve to die or maybe death is too good for me, but-" Tears started streaming down her face and splattered on the ground. "But I am selfish. I want to live, even if you have to die." She whispered as more tears slid down her cheeks. Ms. Yuri was in complete horror as Faith slowly approached her.

"I don't know who or even what you are, but you are right about one thing: death is too good for you. It doesn't matter to me anymore, because you can die here anyway!" Ms. Yuri yelled as she pulled out a gun and pointed it right at Faith. Blood splattered everywhere and time itself seemed to freeze.

(Mercy)

"Hurry up. We have to get there before…before-" Mercy cut herself off.

"I don't think my aunt would hurt her. Maybe a few bruises but not seriously hurt her." Whispered Daichi.

"It's not that. I am worried that Faith might…." She cut herself off again.

"It's okay. At least we have some idea where she is now." Daichi offered. Using a special program on his phone, he managed to use the license plate number to find where they were or at least where the car was.

"Still… By the way, how did you get so good at tracking and computers and all that?"

"You see, my aunt had me learn all sorts of stuff, including hacking. I helped her hack into many different data bases for her. It was usually money related though….." He fell silent.

"Why didn't you every say no?" Mercy asked.

"I couldn't." It came out as barely a whisper.

"Why not? Why?!" Mercy was starting to get angry or at least upset.

"Because! Do you think I want to do this? I have to or else she'll-!" He cut himself off. Mercy went silent and got herself to calm down before speaking again.
"What is it?" She asked. He looked away, making it clear that he didn't want to tell her. She let it go. It wasn't any of her business anyway. They were walking in silence for a while before Daichi spoke up again.

"We are never going to make it on foot." He sighed. Mercy glanced at him.

"Well maybe if you walked faster…" She said irritated.

"That's not it. Why don't you call one of the hosts for a ride? You seem to know them pretty well." He mumbled. Mercy flinched.

"I can't." She said with a pained look on her face.

"Why not? Don't you care about her enough to set aside your pride and call them?" He asked.

"Shut up! This whole mess is your fault so don't you dare act like I am to blame. Do you really think this is about pride? You dare have the nerve to…to-" She fell silent again. Five minutes later, Mercy found Daichi standing with his cell phone held up to his face. She had left for a second to look through the map and was now staring daggers and Daichi. He eased the phone from his face and flipped it closed.

"Sorry." He said "I had to."

"Who did you call?!" Mercy said angrily.

"It's too late to anything about it. I explained everything or at least most of it and they are already on their way here." He said without breaking eye contact. Mercy clenched her fists and was about to punch him but self hatred took over. How could she have been so stupid as to turn her back on him for even one second?

"Who? Who did you call?!" She was trembling with mixed emotions.

"Turn around and you will see. They are already here." He pointed behind her. She spun around slowly, the feeling of dread weighing her down. When she finally made eye contact with his backup, her heart stopped and all the blood rushed down from her face.

(Faith)

The last thing Faith heard was the gun go off before she shut her eyes and braced for death. A terrible, blood-curtailing cry of pain shot through the air. At first Faith thought that came from her but upon realizing that it wasn't her scream, she opened her eyes and saw Ms. Yuri on the ground with blood flowing from her arm. She was staring at the door with an expression of both shock and horror. Faith followed Ms. Yuri's gaze and couldn't believe what she saw. Mercy stood at the door with her arm stretched out, pointing a gun at the fallen teacher. At first Faith thought it was a dream or hallucination but Ms. Yuri's screams were too real to deny. Mercy looked at Faith and their eyes locked. No one said a word because their gazes said it all.

"Faith!" Someone cried out and appeared at the doorway next to Mercy. Faith had to blink a few times to make sure she was really seeing who she thought she saw. It was Kaoru. Hikaru, Tamaki, and Haruhi ran up behind him but weren't able to stop in time and ended up running into him. They all toppled down onto of each other but kept their eyes locked with hers. Kyoya walked up calmly behind them and took in the scene he saw before him.

"I know you didn't like her, but most people think twice before shooting their teacher." Kyoya said to Mercy.

"I-I had no time to think! She was pointing a gun at Faith!" She stuttered back. Haruhi, Kaoru, Tamaki, and Hikaru and all gotten up and rushed to her.

"Are you okay?" They all shouted at her. Shock had overcome her system to the point that she couldn't even speak. A single tear trickled down her face, followed by many others. Eventually her knees buckled beneath her and her trickling tears turned into raging waterfalls and mournful sobs. The four hosts bent down to comfort her while Mercy watched at the doorway. Kyoya kept his attention on Ms. Yuri.

"It seems you shot her in the arm. Not life-threatening but very painful. It might be a good idea to get her into a hospital before she bleeds out though." He said to Mercy. She nodded slowly but kept her gaze on Faith. They had finally managed to console Faith enough to get her to stop crying, walk her out of there, and get her into the car. Mori and Honey were by the car along with Daichi, whom they were watching while the others went to get Faith. She flinched when she saw Daichi but did her best to ignore him and climbed into the car. Kyoya had called people to take Ms. Yuri and said that he would deal with her. They had driven Faith to a hospital to have her checked out. The hosts wouldn't let her leave until every inch of her had been checked and the doctor reassured them, saying that she checked out fine. Everyone suggested that she stay there for the night or even a few nights just to make sure, but the thought of staying in a hospital stressed her out. The doctor had made everyone aware of the fact that she might have trauma or mental distress so she repeatedly had to convince people that she was fine.

"How are you feeling? You look pretty worn out. Maybe you should try getting some rest." Kyoya approached Mercy who had been standing against a wall, watching Faith sleep in the hospital bed.

"I'm fine." She said quietly. Through all the fuss and havoc everyone was in, Mercy was the only one who was silent through it all.

"I can't believe that Daichi actually called you guys." She added, not meaning to say it out loud.

"Good thing he did or you wouldn't have made it in time." Kyoya stated.

"I know. I thought I couldn't, but I wont make that mistake again." She paused. "I-I have something I need to tell you guys. Soon...but not yet." Mercy said nervously. Kyoya thought about prying for details but let it go.

"We will be waiting. In the mean time, don't overwork yourself. You're no good to Faith dead. Try to get some rest soon." Kyoya advised her before turning to walk away.

"Hey Kyoya?" Mercy called after him softly. He came to a stop.

"Ya?" He asked.

"Thanks…..For everything." She whispered. Kyoya just nodded before walking away. She couldn't see it, but he was wearing one of his rare, soft smiles.
