"I think you're going too far" Laxus growled as he restrained his friend

"I told you before, if I can't have Gray then no one should" Sting hissed back, smacking the lightning mages arm away

It was the day after the Halloween party, there were only afternoon classes today, allowing the students to have a lie in. Laxus had decided to bunk off school with one of the pretty blondes from the all-girl school a few miles down the road, Lucy.

"Just, just don't do anything stupid" the lightning mage warned knowing how quick Sting could lose his temper, he knew Natsu wasn't a push over but Sting could easily mess with the pinknette's head

"I'm only going to scare him a little" Sting smirked "Don't you have a date to be bothering with" he raised his eye brow, looking at Laxus

"Just be careful you fool, see you later" the lightning mage gently punched the blondes arm before leaving

Sting grunted before grabbing his gym bag, all boys had gym for the afternoon; Sting knew this was the perfect opportunity to finally mess around with the slayer. The blonde slipped out of his dorm and slowly made his way to the main block, walking alone, lost in his own thoughts.

"Loke" Gray called

The strawberry blonde turned, adjusting his glasses, he half smiled at the ice mage

"Yeah?" he asked, curious as to why the other was suddenly speaking to him

"Natsu told me you kissed him"

Loke's eyes widened, he swallowed hard. He had hoped the pinknette would keep the secret, clearly not.

"Oh that" he laughed nervously, scratching the back of his head

"Yeah that" Gray frowned, clearly not happy

"I was only messing around, it's not like Natsu kissed me ba-"

"No he didn't kiss you back because his with me, how dare you touch him"

"Sorry" Loke quickly apologised not wanting any conflict

"You know were together but you kissed him anyway, what were you hoping for?"

Loke was silence, not replying to the question. He looked at Gray's angered face, but the lion soon became frustrated by the way he was being hated.

"Like I said he never kissed me back, he was upset about it and I apologised, were ok now"

"He may have forgiven you but I haven't" Gray cracked his knuckles and walked a little more towards Loke

"Wait, you're going to beat me up over this? Yes I know how Natsu feels about you but I only learnt about that after I kissed him and he was crying, b-before then it wasn't clear what was happening between you"

"It's pretty obvious that were together, even Sting has understood that"

"Sting just sees that you have found someone else to sleep with, you haven't told Natsu you love him have you, his my friend, despite what happened between us I'm still going to listen to him when his worrying and he worries because you've not told him you love him, do you even love him Gray?"

"Of course I do, stop trying to throw this back on me!"

"I'm not, I took a chance with that kiss, I admit now it was a foolish thing to do, Natsu's heart clearly belongs to you but if you can't even tell him those three words then he deserves better and you know that"

"I told you I do, I do love…him"

"So tell him Gray, what are you waiting for?!"

The ice mage lowered his fists; he looked down, his dark hair falling over his face. He shrugged his shoulders, not really knowing why he couldn't say them three simple words to the love of his life.

"You need to tell him, soon…he won't wait forever" Loke mumbled softly

Gray looked up; he nodded his head lightly understanding. He was still rather mad with Loke but he had told him something he needed to hear, how could he expect Natsu to just guess that he was in love with him? He needed to tell him.

"All is forgiven?" Loke asked

The ice mage sighed "I won't ever forgive you for touching him but you're his friend so I will talk to you for Natsu's sake that's all, don't ever try anything like that again, because next time I will kick the fuck out of your arse" he warned
