A/N: NEW! Summer Story!

I laughed to myself happily. The beach. A tropical island… just Kaito and I. I hugged myself in excitement. Finally! The day has come where I can claim Sempai as mine!

"Do you want me to put some sunblock on your back, Kaito?" Gakupo asked.

"Ok~ Thank you, Gakupo-kun!" Kaito smiled happily.

I froze. Yes… that was only a dream. I fell to my knees, such a dream should be reality!

"What are you doing?" Gakupo sighed.

"Shut up, no one cares…" I snapped.

Kaito looked at me with a worried face, "don't say that! I care…"

I felt as if a cupid had shot me with a love arrow. I stood up quickly and hugged Kaito, "Sempai! I love you!"

"Eh?" Kaito panicked. He blushed, "don't say that so loud people will hear…"

Gakupo pushed me away. I felt so happy with those words. I sighed to calm myself and walked out into the sun. So many ideas… let's have some fun!

Kaito patted the sand castle under the shade happily. I walked up to him, "you don't want to go swimming with us?"

Kaito frowned, but then looked up at me, showing me a fake smile, "no, I'm fine… I don't really like swimming."

I grabbed my towel next to him and dried myself, "are you sure? Everyone is in the water having fun. We don't want to leave you out, Sempai."

"Oh, don't worry! I like watching everyone from here," Kaito continued with his sand castle.

"Yuma! Come back and play!" Len shouted from the water.

I called back, "one sec!" I sighed and set my towel back down, "alright then… Sempai, if you want to come in, we welcome you, ok?"

"Yeah… thank you, Yuma-kun," Kaito smiled.

I turned to the ocean and walked into the water. I glanced back at Kaito. I feel like something is wrong… Water splashed against my face.

"Got ya!" Piko laughed.

"You brat!" I grinned and ran towards him. I noticed Gakupo brushing his long hair back in the middle of all of us while talking to the girls. I cupped my hands and pushed the water in front of me, "hame hame ha!"

Water drenched Gakupo. His hair fell back down in front of his face. He glared at me and began yelling nonsense, which I did not pay attention to. I smirked and picked my ear in indifference.

I spotted Kaito staring at us. His eyes were filled with loneliness. If you're so lonely why don't ya jus' come n' play? I frowned seeing Kaito feeling down. Water rushed against my back pushing me underwater. I swam back to the top and glared back at Gakupo. He laughed at me. I flailed my hands around splashing water everywhere, "stupid eggplant!"

"What did you say?" Gakupo snapped and swam at me.

We began splashing water at each other in anger. From anger grew happiness. We laughed and played in the water. Len and Piko joined in our fight. The girls, wanting nothing to do with us guys, floated and chattered, only to be hit by out water fight. Meiko raged and joined int, then Luka, then the whole group.

Gakupo stopped suddenly and stared back at the shore. I panted, "what is it?"

Gakupo stayed silent. I looked back. Kaito was standing near the water as if he were going to come in. I smiled and waved at Kaito, "Sempai!"

"Shut up, Yuma," Gakupo snapped. He trudged over to the shore.

"What's with him?" I murmured.

"He's just overprotective," Meiko answered.

"Nee-san…" I frowned, "why won't Sempai, come into the water?"

Meiko fell silent. She smiled, "he just doesn't feel like it!"

I smiled, "is that so." I put my hand behind my head and grinned, "I kinda thought that it was because he couldn't come in the water."

I blew the kabob until it wasn't hot, then plopped it into my mouth. It was already lunch time. I set down the stick from the kabob and stood to stretch. Kaito walked up to me, "did you like it?"

"Yup! It tasted great!" I grinned.

"I'm glad you liked it."

I grabbed Kaito's wrist, "let's go~"

Kaito followed me, "where are we going?"

I lead him to a small area of the beach where no one comes to. I stared out into the sea, "here."

"What is it?" Kaito looked a bit worried.

"Hey, Sempai, let's swim together!" I took of my shirt and held out my hand to Kaito.

Kaito gulped, "I don't really…"

"I'll teach you how to swim if you don't know! So let's swim together!" I cocked my head to the side, "Sempai?"

Kaito saw my frowning face and jolted. He smiled, "then it can't be helped… just for a bit ok? Shall we swim together?"

My face brightened up, "yeah!" I led Kaito into the water slowly so that Kaito won't fall and get hurt. Kaito cautiously walked in after me. His whole body shook when he touched the water. Is the water that cold? I used my free hand to feel the water. It was pretty warm. Soon we were both fully in. I smiled at Kaito, "doesn't it feel good?"

Kaito smiled, "y-yeah…"

I frowned, "Sempai… do you not like swimming with me? Would you rather swim with Gakupo?"

Kaito shook his head, "I like swimming… with you…"

I pouted, "but you seem so pained to swim with me…"

"That's… not true, Yuma-kun…" Kaito walked close to me.

I faced the shore, "then why do you keep backing up?"

"Well…"

"Why don't you tell me anything?" I grabbed Kaito's shoulders, "I'm always clueless about everythi-!"

"Yuma-kun!" Kaito shoved me towards the shore. I looked back at Kaito, what was… My eyes widened. A huge wave was rushing towards Kaito.

"Sempai!" I tried running back in.

"Stay back, Yuma-kun!"

I paused. No! Go save him! Why listen to him now? You never listened to him before… why now! The wave crashed down. I stayed silent. The wave calmed and swept back into the ocean.

"... Sempai?" I stared at the empty sea in front of me. The water glistened with nothing in it, except Kaito's blue scarf he would always wear.
