Hey guys! Sorry this has took so long I've had a lot going on in my life and have only just started writing again. I'm currently working on updates for all of my stories now though :) Don't forget to leave a review and let me know what you think. Xxx
Tony and McGee watched helplessly as the tears sprung forth from the man they both looked up to and held in such high regard. The man was more of a father to them - in their eyes - than their own. The message that had just been revealed to them, the thing that had caused such a reaction from the infallible Gibbs, was casting shadows over their perception of him. Every word of that message indicated that ziva had been in a relationship with Gibbs. Ziva and Gibbs? Yet they themselves had witnessed their boss basically getting hot and heavy with another woman. They would have both believed her written words to be a lie if not for the confirmation that was streaming down their mentors face. His reaction confirmed every word was true - which also meant that he'd cheated on ziva infront of her face. And had left her so heartbroken that she'd opted to leave them. Ziva the warrior, ziva the fighter, ziva the assassin, the confidante, the partner, the best friend, the sister. She was one and all to each of them. The knowledge of what had transpired the past weekend built up a raging fire of fury within the pair of them.
McGee turned on his heel and left the room, Tony however didn't have such restraint. His best friend, his sister, had been hurt in the most degrading and humiliating way by a man that they all trusted and looked up to. She had felt that she wasn't good enough for him - he'd proven her theory through his actions. How long had they been together, by her words he'd guess that it was a while - yet none of them knew, it was all kept secret. Had his boss honestly felt that she wasn't good enough, was he ashamed to admit that she'd been seeing him? That wasn't right. She was worth everything, she was gorgeous inside and out and any man would be more than lucky to have her! These thoughts caused the anger inside him to reach a monstrous level. His fingers began to bend into his palm, forming a fist, white knuckles struggling to break free of the skinned cage. One hand reached out and jerked his boss to face him, blue tear filled eyes looked into his own raging green and before either of them knew it - BANG. His fist delivered a right hook that Mohammed Ali would be proud of, causing Gibbs to stumble backwards. "Bastard!".
Gibbs life was in pieces, ziva gone, McGee had walked out and his senior field agent had quite possibly broken his jaw. He watched as Tony paced up and down muttering cusses all aimed at him. He could sense the fury surrounding his agent, it clung to his being, shrouded his soul, emmiting it's smoke and fire. They knew now. Knew the truth about everything, about ziva, about the woman who he had bedded in a drugged haze - they didn't know that he had been drugged though. They didn't know that he worshipped the very ground that ziva walked upon. They didn't know that he loved her with everything he had.
It didn't matter now though. It was too late, she had gone. Wait, gone? Her note said this but then he remembered the small blood speckles outside her apartment. His gut gave him a sharp nudge, not all was as it seemed. Just what the hell was going on here?
