Chapter 45

Will woke up the second he heard one of the twins crying. He started to get up but was stopped when he also heard Sonny's voice coming from the rocking chair in the corner of their bedroom.

"Don't get up babe. It's JR. I'll check on him when I carry Miss Sophie back to her crib." He leaned down and kissed Will while carrying her back to kid's bedroom.

Sonny walked into the room, seeing Marley up on her knees staring at him over the rail of her crib. "Daddy."

"I know sweetie. Did bubba wake you up?" he asked as he laid Sophie down in her crib and walked over to pick up JR.

"He cwying."

"I know sweetie. Bubba needs his diaper changed." He carried his son over to the changing table and laid him down. "Hello big man. Do you have a wet or dirty diaper?" he pulled off his diaper and saw that it was just wet.

"You should have woke me up my love." Sonny heard his husband speaking to him.

"I was already awake so there wasn't any need for you to get up. I thought you went back to sleep." He asked as Will walked over to the Marley and picked her up. "Hello princess. What are you doing awake?"

"Bubba cwying."

"He woke you up didn't he?" She nodded her head to agree with him. "Do you need a clean diaper sweetheart?"

"Wet."

"You're diaper is wet?" he asked.

"Yes." Will carried her over to stand beside her daddy. He laid her down on the changing table beside her brother and proceeded to change her wet diaper.

"I could have changed her diaper when I was through with JR."

"I know but since I was already awake I figured I would help you. Besides you have gotten up the last three mornings with both JR and Sophie so I should get up too."

"Well, they are my kids."

"And they're mine too. I told you in the hospital the day we brought the twins home that we would share the responsibilities of taking care of our children."

"You are the most wonderful man I have ever known. Thank you for giving me the family that I have always wanted but was afraid I would never have."

"You don't have to thank me for loving the most wonderful man I have ever known or met. It is my honor and privilege to know and love you." Will leaned over and kissed Sonny passionately.

"Daddy wuv daddy." They separated from each other when they heard Marley speak.

"That's right sweetie. Your daddy loves your daddy very much and both of your daddy's love you and your brother and sister very much too." Will changed Marley's diaper and picked her up.

"So what are we going to do today?" Sonny asked Will as he picked up JR and walked over to Sophie's crib. Will laughed to himself as he watched his sexy husband trying to pick up their daughter with his free arm while holding their daughter in his other arm.

"Let me help you." Will walked over to the crib. He sat Marley down in Sophie's crib while he picked Sophie up and placed her in Sonny's other arm. Then he picked Marley back up.

They headed into the kitchen to started breakfast for the five of them. Will placed Marley in her high chair while Sonny sat down at the table with the twins in his arms. Then he started Marley's breakfast cereal and heated up the twins bottles.

Will grabbed both bottles and Marley's cereal and sat down at the table. He took Sophie in his arms and gave her bottle to her while Sonny fed JR his bottle. They took turns feeding Marley her cereal.

When all three kids had been fed, cleaned up and dressed, Will and Sonny decided to go to Grammy Sami's to see Will's mom.

"I am so glad you came to visit me. I have been feeling kind of down and I really needed to see you boys."

"Gwammy," Marley held out her arms to Sami, bringing tears to her eyes.

"How long has she been saying that?" Sami asked Will.

"A couple of weeks. We wanted it to be a surprise so we kept it to ourselves." Sami took Marley in her arms and hugged her granddaughter close.

Will and Sonny put the twins down for nap when they both started getting fussy. When they walked back into the living room, Sami was standing in the middle of the living room holding Marley in her arms and they were dancing to a song that Will had not heard.

"Who is this singing Mom?" he asked her as he pulled Sonny into his arms and started dancing with his husband. He never got tired of holding Sonny's hot, desirable body in his arms.

"It's a song that came out last year but I just now bought the CD. It's the group One Direction. The name of the song is Fireproof."

"I've never heard it before. It's out a year already."

"Yeah. It came out last year in the fall just before their fourth CD was released. I love this song because when I think of yours and Sonny's relationship, I think of this song because your love is fireproof."

"If it wasn't for Sonny, that wouldn't be the case. He saves me every day and makes our lives together worth anything we have gone through."

"I love you Will Horton-Kiriakis." Sonny kissed Will while they danced in each other's arms.

They were so lost in each other; Will almost didn't notice how emotional his mom was at that moment. "Mom, are you okay?" he asked.

"I'm fine. I'm just so proud of you son. I don't know why I am crying so much. I haven't been this emotional in years." Just then, it dawned on Will what was going on.

"Mom, you haven't been this emotional since you were pregnant with the twins?"

"What are trying to say Will?"

"I think you are pregnant again mom." And the room went silent.
