Chapter 46
Will and Sonny left Sami's and was on their way home when Will's cell phone rang. He answered on the second ring.
"Hey Gabs. What's up?" he asked his best female friend. When Gabi didn't reply, Will asked again. "What's up with you Gabi?"
"Will, I have some news for you and Sonny. It might be good news or it might be bad news. I'm not sure how you will take it."
"You're starting to scare me Gabi." Will hated when Gabi was so ominous about what she had to tell him. "Go on and tell me what your news is."
"You made a promise to me when I signed the papers for you to have full custody of Marley that you would never let her forget me. And you told me when the twins were born that you would always tell them about me."
"Like I said, Gabi, you are scaring me. What's going on?" Will asked again.
"I'm moving away from Salem." Will couldn't believe what he was hearing. "Did you hear me Will?"
"I heard you but I don't understand why you feel you need to move. Rafe is here, Marley is here, Joey is here and I am here."
"You're mostly right."
"What do you mean?"
"Joey is here for now. He's moving with me. Or should I say that I'm moving with him."
"You're leaving with Joey." Will noticed immediately the look on Sonny's face. "I'm assuming his family doesn't know that he's moving."
"You're the first person we've told. You don't hate me, do you?"
"I could never hate you Gabi. You are my best friend, other than Sonny. You have to do what you have to do. Can I ask why?"
"Because Nick is getting out of jail and I don't want to be here when he comes home to live with some of his family. I'm sorry Will."
"You don't have to be sorry Gabi. You have to think of yourself. Why don't you and Joey come to the house so you can spend some time with the kids before you have to leave?" Will could hear her crying over the phone but he didn't say anything.
"Are you sure?"
"Of course I'm sure."
"Okay. We'll be there in a little while." Gabi hung up before Will could say anything else to him.
He hung up the phone and turned his attention to Sonny. "So you heard what we were talking about, right?"
"So Gabi and my brother are leaving town together. I hope they can make each other very happy."
"I'm sure they will make each other happy. Of course they have a lot of competition in the happy department with me and you together." Will leaned over and kissed Sonny while he drove them home.
"How about I take you and our kids home so you can fix something spectacular for Gabi and Joey as a going away supper."
"I love you Sonny."
"And I love you Will."
When they made it home, Sonny put the kids down for a nap while Will started preparing supper for them, Gabi and Joey.
Will was putting the casserole in the oven when Sonny joined him in the kitchen. "You are so sexy when you're cooking." He told him as he wrapped his arms around his gorgeous husband.
"But haven't you told me before that I'm sexy doing pretty much nothing at all."
"Well, you are sexy when you're doing nothing at all. You have been sexy to me since the very first time I ever met you. Your eyes captivate me. Smile makes me want to get on my knees and do whatever it takes to make you smile at me like that again."
"I really do love you Mr. Horton-Kiriakis. I can't picture my life without you."
"Then it's a good thing you don't have to worry about that. You are stuck with me for life." Sonny kissed Will passionately.
"How about we take our own afternoon siesta while the casserole is in the over and the kids are taking their naps?"
"That is a wonderful idea. Let's go babe." Together they headed for their bedroom. Will turned on the baby monitor, hearing complete silence coming through the speaker, signaling to them that the kids were still asleep.
Sonny quickly undressed and climbed into their bed. He watched as Will undressed himself and climbed into the bed after him.
"You are so gorgeous."
"You are too my love." Will climbed on top of Sonny and wrapped his legs around his waist. "I'm going to make you weep with desire."
"That sounds wonderful. Don't stop." Sonny moaned when Will entered him rather quickly.
Will made love to his husband for the next half hour until they heard Marley's voice coming through the speaker.
They both got up and dressed. Sonny went to the kids' room while Will went to the kitchen to check on their supper.
