PEIN POV
Annoyance and anger filled me as I pictured the many ways I could kill 'Tobi' for forcing all this paperwork on me.
'I'm going to fucking kill you Madara! You stupid piece of shit…' I continued my angry rant in my head as I wrote on the paper. Some of them had small puncture holes from the pen while others had ink blobs from my angry scribbles.
'One of these days, I will destroy you' I thought as I glared at the mass amount of paperwork that was still unfinished wishing that it will somehow just combust and turn into ash.
Konan stood next to me while quietly watching me do the paperwork but I can tell that something was on her mind.
"Nagato, how do we know that this… Saku… does not pose a threat to our ultimate plan? He can be a spy." Konan informed.
"I know." I said, "We will just have to see what happens. If he does pose a threat, we will eliminate him."
Konan frowned but said nothing more.
I continued to do more paperwork when an hour later, Kisame's chakra signature and a foreign chakra signature was felt.
It felt quite powerful but, I can tell that for some odd reason much of this other beings chakra was being locked away.
'Why would they lock away such a mass amount of chakra? Just how strong is he?'
A knock was heard before Kisame entered the room.
"Oi leader, I'm here to give our report on the mission."
'Thank Pein (A/N: Lol, little inside joke. Couldn't help but put it in)!' I thought while I gave a happy dance in my head from being temporarily relieved from all this paperwork.
I just looked at him indicating to continue.
"We have successfully brought the boy. We had no trouble at all bringing him here seeing as he volunteered to come with us."
Konan gave me a worried and suspicious look but it quickly vanished. Kisame didn't seem notice the exchange between Konan and me and if he did, he didn't indicate anything.
My eyes narrowed also in suspicion.
"Why has he followed? Does he not know who we are or is he stupid?"
"He seems to know who we are but he is one cocky bastard. A very strong one too. When he approached us he-"
"Wait, what do you mean approach you guys? You were supposed to be the one to catch him off guard, not the other way around!" I said as I glared at him.
He nervously gulped as he took a small inch back.
"W-well, when we went after him, we thought it was the real him but it turned out it was just a clone…" Kisame nervously said.
"A… clone?!" I seethed.
"Uh… it was… a really good… one?" he said or more like questioned.
I began to rub my temple as a headache began to form.
'I will not kill them. I will not kill them. I will not kill them.' I thought as I tried to resist the urge to strangle all three of them. I breathe in and out to calm myself and it worked slightly.
"Is he alone?" I finally questioned.
"No. He brought the mutt with him. He wouldn't leave without it and when we tried to leave without it…" Kisame paled as he seemed to remember a memory. "Let's just say that it means a lot to him."
My eyebrows had slightly risen as his vague answer.
'Hmmm, seems like he is not only strong, he is also confident and can take care of himself.' I thought.
"Alright, bring him in."
"Hai." Kisame says as he gives a quick half bow and walks towards the door. He steps out and as he opened the door and quickly exit the room, I noticed pink strands of hair before it was hidden from my view by the wooden door.
'Pink hair? Is it really a guy?' I pondered.
I felt another presence in this room and immediately knew who it was.
"Seems like an interesting guy." Madara claims as he stepped out of the shadows. "Quite powerful too."
"Also very suspicious." I said as I noticed Madara's face lit up by a wicked smile and a slightly… perverted tint to it? I quickly dismissed the thought deeming it as my mind playing tricks on me.
"Hmm, keep an eye on him. He should not be trusted until we find out his intentions of willingly joining us." Madara orders before he poofs away leaving no evidence, other than our conversation, of him ever being there.
There was a quiet but firm knock unlike the other members who would either knock as if they are trying to break the door down or just waltz in as if they owned the place.
"Come in" I ordered.
As the door opened, a young man with bright pink hair and a black wolf entered. I couldn't help but noticed how handsome he looked.
His face was void of any emotion while the wolf just seemed to glare at us.
I took a quick look at Konan and noticed the slight light blush on her face and for some odd reason, I couldn't help but glare at the new comer with hatred and some other unknown feeling.
'What… why does my heart hurt? What is this feeling? It's just Konan. The Konan who has been my best friend since we were kids and have always been by my side and would never leave me… right?'
SAKURA POV
As I entered, nervousness filled my stomach but, I made sure I had my poker face on as I ventured further into the room.
It reminded me of Tsuande's office since it was filled with mountains of paperwork. I felt sad as I remembered the hours of her forcing me to do all her work while she went off to go gambling or drink sake… ok, maybe I didn't miss it that much.
'I wonder how they are doing.' I thought.
'The one I miss the most is Tonton. She was so cute~' Inner replied as she caused a pic of chibi Tonton to appear in my mind.
She started gushing in my head causing me to lose focus a little bit.
'Are you stupid or DO YOU NOT NOTICE A MASS MURDER IN FRONT OF US?! FOR FUCK SAKE, PAY ATTENTION!' Hisoka yelled at inner who just scowled while receding to the back of my mind with a picture of Tonton in her hand.
I just blinked and focused my attention on the man in front of me who was sitting behind a desk and a women who seemed to hover protectively over him.
A tall man with spikey ginger hair and grey eyes that had a ripple like pattern like when you drop a pebble into the water causing small waves. He seemed to be around his late twenties or early thirties. The most distinctive trait that he had was all the piercings he had on his face. I have to admit, he was quite handsome which didn't really surprise me since all the other men I've seen so far seemed to be quite good looking. I believed that he was the so called 'Leader' Kisame had mentioned.
The woman next to his was just as beautiful. She was tall and had blue hair that was put into a bun with a blue origami rose decorating her bun. She had amber colored eyes that seemed to pop out due to the purple eye shadow she used and she had a labret piercing. 'Wow, Konan is so beautiful.' I thought is slight envy at her normal sized head (Sakura *seething in anger* AUTHOR-CHHAAAANNNN! MY FOREHEAD IS A NORMAL SIZE! *throws kunai and shurikens at author-chan as she runs around like a deranged monkey trying to dodge*)
Both members had the akatsuki cloaked buttoned all the way to the top and the only thing skin that showed was their face.
They were both extremely powerful but Leader was even more powerful than Konan. However, there was an older trace of a powerful chakra that was 10x stronger than Leaders.
'Hmm… do you guys feel that?'
'Hai'
While they both had a neutral face, the Leader seemed to be glaring at me as if I just kicked his puppy out the window and threw explosion tags at it to make sure it died (Pein: … You just had to go there didn't you -_- Konan: *silent tears and murderous glare* Author-chan: a-ahh I'm sorry!).
His face turned from glaring to judging back to glaring and then to a business like face.
'What the hell?'
"Saku correct?" He asked his voice void of all emotion.
"Hai" I said, my voice just as emotionless.
"What is the reason as to why you want to join the Akatsuki?"
"I want to become strong so I can avenge someone precious to me that I lost long ago" I answered.
"Why should we help you?" He sneered at me as he sized me up. I can tell that he had made the same mistake as many of my enemies before I hacked them into pieces. He underestimated my skills.
THIRD POV
"Why should we help you?" Pein sneered. 'He looks so week. I can break him in half.' He thought.
Oh you poor pitiful idiot.
"Because," Saku closed my eyes and when he opened them, it became black and pupil-less eyes "I am much more than I seem!" Inner has taken over.
Leader and Konan seemed surprised that they did not notice another chakra source in the boy's body. His voice suddenly changed to a demonic voice that sounded slightly girlish. He seemed to grow even more beautiful as he stood there with a dark aura surrounding him.
"DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE ME FOR I AM THE DEMON OF BLOOD AND DEATH!"
The locked up chakra source that Leader had noticed suddenly began to leak out in mass amount. The lock that was restraining the chakra seemed to disappear. Pein, Konan and all other living beings within a 100 mile radius of the compound found it hard to breathe at the mass amount of chakra except, for Hisoka. He was used to it. And besides, he had a little secret of his own that only inner knew about.
'How is it possible for a boy this young to be able to restrain this amount of chakra in such a small body? It should have completely destroyed him from the inside-out! There was only one other who was able to do this? Can this be… no, impossible. He died years ago.' Pein thought as he tried to keep a neutral face without showing the inner turmoil and fear he felt. Inner began to cackle like a maniac.
"I WILL DRAIN YOUR FILTHY MORTAL BODY OF YOUR SOUL! I WILL SKIN YOU ALIVE AND RIP YOUR INTESTINES OUT OF YOUR BODY AND USE IT TO HANG YOU ON THE DOOR STEP FOR ALL TO SEE! THEN I WIL- wait Saku-kun what are you doing?... ~Aww come on, I just want to have some fun~" Inners voice went from demonic to a pouty voice in a few seconds as Saku began to take control of his body once more.
Pein and Konan sweat dropped and mentally sighed in relief as they noticed the demonic chakra began to lock up once more. Saku eyes flickered from black to emerald green to black and then back to green.
When he was back to normal, he had a sheepish look making him seem innocent as if he didn't almost choke all of them to death with his chakra but, it disappeared quickly and his face became serious and emotionless.
SAKURA POV (IN HER MIND)
I closed my eyes for effect, I felt inner take over. Not completely, but just enough to scare them.
I couldn't help but chuckle slightly as I watched their reaction through Inners mind.
'Isn't this a bit too much for a first impression?' Hisoka asked as his voice was suddenly heard in my head but, I can tell that he was very amused by inners threats as it became more and more… detailed.
'Ok inner that is enough.' I thought as she began threatening him about using his intestines to pin him on to the wall like a piece of Christmas decoration.
"Wait Saku-kun, what are you doing?" Inner said through my mouth but in her tone of voice.
"I'm taking over my body now. I asked you to scare them a little not traumatize them for life." I said.
"~Aww come on, I just want to have some fun~" she said as she tried to do the whole puppy dog eyes on me with the little pout and the adorable voice. She failed. Miserably.
"No." I said while rolling my eyes. I knew I was slightly being a bitch, but I wanted control of my body once more.
'Fine.' She said as she gave control back to me. She sat in her emo corner in the back of my head while pouting so I manifested chibi forms of Tonton and all my other friends.
'EEEKKKK! LOOK HOW ADORABLE GARRA-KUN AND NARUTO ARE!" She shrieked before residing to the back of my mind so that she can gush on how adorable my friends are like the pedophile she really is (INNER: I'm not a pedophile! SAKUR: they looked like little kids Inner, don't deny it, INNER: …-_- fuck you).
'I really need a psychiatrist…'
SAKURA POV (IN THE REAL WORLD)
As I gained control over my body once more, I can see the look of complete horror as they stared at me as if I needed to go to a mental hospital.
I couldn't help but felt a bit sheepish. I had the strong urge to smile and scratch the back of my head much like Naruto do when he does something stupid and I find out about it but, I stopped myself before I can show even more emotion and wiped my face of any facial emotion that can show what I was feeling.
"…" they didn't know what to say since they continued to stare at me wide eyes so I decided to speak up.
"That was inner. She has been with me ever since I was born." I said. They seemed to snap back to reality and they quickly composed themselves.
"Inner? What is it exactly?" Pein asked. I was ticked slightly when he called Inner an it but I let it go.
"'It', is a she. I don't really know what she is." I gave a half lie since I was not willing to tell them too much about inner in case they tried to hurt her. It wasn't completely a lie since I did not know who she truly was since she won't tell me until 'I am ready.'
"What about the dog?" He asked as his gaze went towards Hisoka who glared right back at him.
"He stays with me. No one is allowed to hurt him or go near him," I said. My eyes harden even more daring him to refuse. "Especially that orange masked idiot." I said since Hisoka demanded me to tell him that.
A ghost of a smile appeared on Leaders and Konans face before it disappeared.
It was quite for a few seconds as Leader seemed to be thinking over the small knowledge I just gave him while Konan kept giving me weird looks. Hisoka had laid down on the floor with a bored look on his face but I can see that it was just a façade seeing as he was actually alert. He was feeling for any nearby chakra signature and any exit we might have to take if our current situation became too dangerous.
"Tomorrow at dusk, I will test you on just how strong you are. You will have to fight against every member in the Akatsuki all at once and when I find that you had enough with them, you will have to fight me." He ordered. Konan's head snapped towards him and her eyes widen slightly with a small tint of worry evident in them.
"Naga- Pein-san," she corrected herself quickly. "Isn't that a bit too much?"
He gave her a fierce glare. When Konans eyes showed surprise, he seemed to give a quick apologetic look before it disappeared. However, Leader did not answer as he completely ignored Konans question.
I looked at his desk and noticed that his hands were resting on it. On each finger, there was a white ring on it with a kanji symbol. He seemed to fidget with a ring on his pinky that had a yellow background and the kanji symbol for "South" on it for a bit before his long sleeved cloak covered up his hand.
A few seconds later, I heard a hard knock as Kisame entered. He gave me a slightly questioning look before focusing on leader.
"You will stay with Kisame until you are called to the training ground and Konan will bring you some clothing. He will assist you around the compound and show you where the restricted areas are. Follow his orders and do not break any rules." He ordered.
SAKURA POV (INSIDE HER HEAD)
I've noticed that Hisoka was quiet most of the time and he seemed to be thinking about something.
'Hisoka, what's the matter?'
'Why would they do that?' Hisoka asked in wonder 'I will never understand you humans and the need to lodge metals into your face.'
'It's not that bad Hisoka. It only hurt for a little while.'
'You had 5 piercings and while you were getting it, you didn't even flinch when they pierced your skin with a needle. You don't count.' Inner said as she appeared once more.
'She didn't even flinch when she was poisoned and temporarily paralyzed when we were attacked by those rogue Mist ninjas.'
'I know right. She is was too emotionless. At least blink when you are being impaled by kunais!'
'I feel so unloved' I thought as Hisoka and Inner were gossiping about me like old women.
SAKURA POV (BACK TO REALITY)
Kisame and I both bowed down before he escorted me out.
We both kept quiet as we exited but once we turned the corner, Kisame spoke up.
"So, how did it go?" he asked.
I shrugged my shoulder while ignoring his question.
I wasn't trying to act like a jerk by not answering it was just that I had mixed feelings about joining. I can join and grow stronger but then it would put Hisoka's life in danger since they have so many enemies. Or, we can leave and he will be safe but then it will take a little longer to accomplish my goal. There is still danger outside of the Akatsuki but I can easily take care of it however, with the Akatsuki, they seem to at least care for one another in a weird way. While they will kill one another in a heartbeat, they seem to have some sort of respect for the other that if someone were to kill any of the members, they would make sure that the murder of said member will have an even horrible death. This means that if I were to join and die before any of them, hopefully they will keep Hisoka safe. Unknowingly, I had blocked out Hisoka from listening in on my thoughts.
"What are you thinking about?" Kisame asked since I was even more quiet than usual.
I gave an exaggerated sigh as I took a quick look at Hisoka's furry back since he was all the way in the front and then I looked at Kisame. Although he had quite a distance from me and Kisame, I knew he can still hear me so I had to whisper.
"It's nothing. I'm just worried about Hisoka and his health. I am putting his life in danger just by being in this compound." I whispered.
"You shouldn't worry about him. You should worry about yourself." Kisame whispered back.
"I know." I whispered back "It's just that I fear that I won't be there to save him if something were to happen. He's the only family I have now, and I would kill anyone who hurts him."
He seemed to be surprised that I opened up to him and I instantly regretted telling him that. I didn't know why, but Kisame reminded me of Gaara. He was so easy to talk to and I felt as if I can tell him everything.
'I must watch what I say to him. He might use it against me.' I thought.
"Just worry about yourself. He's a giant wolf, he can take care of himself." He whispered.
I chuckled a bit since that was something Hisoka would have told me.
"By the way, why are we whispering? Kisame asked.
"Because Hisoka would lecture me about not worrying too much about him" I whispered back.
"Hisoka… Lecture… Wait… what?" He said out loud with a surprised look.
'Oops… damn, I said too much.'
"I tend to fret over him too much and so he always gives me a small nip and I call it a lecture. It's something he does to make me stop and it's his way teaching me." I quickly lied. Hisoka has only bitten me when he was a pup and was still afraid of me, now he thinks it's beneath him to bite people unless he has to.
"Oh… ok." Kisame said while slightly moving away from me.
'Great Sakura, you scared away yet another' I thought. I felt relieved that he would probably stay away from me but, I felt kind of sad that I won't have anyone to relax and be myself around.
"You'll fit right in Pinky. We are all weird in our own ways." He said while giving a cheeky smile before giving me a hard slap on the back.
I glared at him and he quickly removed his hand but not before I noticed his fingernails with black nail polish on it. Now that I think about it, I also saw a quick flash of black on the hands of the other members I have met and even Leader's finger nail, but I didn't even think about it till now.
'… oh my god… I think that I found out the reason as to why almost all the members are guys… there gay and they are all probably in love with one another!' I couldn't help but give a girlish squeal in my head. I found gay couples to be just adorable!
'You idiot. There not gay. Its obvious Leader has feeling for Konan. Well… the others I am not certain since they believe you are a guy.'
'What?' I said confused.
'Never mind' she sighed 'When you are older, I will explain to you the meaning of the bird and the bees.'
'What the hell do animals have to do with the Akatsuki and their confusion with my gender? Besides, I am 18 years old! I am an adult!'
'. You think that the most intimate thing that couple do is kiss and maybe fondle one another… You don't even know what happens behind close doors.'
'They have sex?' I said but it came out more like a question.
'Do you know what they do during sex?'
'More kissing and fondling?'
'…You poor, poor child' She sighed before disappearing.
'What the hell? Inner…inner…INNER! Yesh, the one time you actually want her to speak and she refuses to.' I rolled my eyes and decided to just focus on following Kisame.
While walking, he showed all the places where I was allowed to go to and all the places that I was never to enter.
They had two training ground; one inside and the other outside. The one inside was small and had a few weights and other exercise equipment. This training ground was mainly used for training by yourself. The outside training ground was very big and this one was used for when the members would fight against one another.
There was a small library on the bottom floor in the way back. According to Kisame, only a few members would enter, him not being one of those members. There were scrolls and books in there but all the important artifacts, scrolls and books were kept hidden away. No one, other than Leader, knew what their content was and where they were at.
The kitchen was very beautiful but it was extremely dirty. There was food stains all over the place and dishes was piled up in the sink and on the counter top. There was food carcass all over the ground and on some, there was weird fuzzy things on it and I could have sworn that a big yellow blob (supposedly pudding as Kisame had called it) had moved. 'Oi, I can't live in this type of condition. Yesh, even Naruto's place is better than this.'
We turned some corners and I noticed that there were wooden doors aligned on the walls. All the doors had some type of strong chakra henge on the locks and on the door post that seemed to protect those behind the doors from any unwanted eyes and ears unless you were inside.
'Hmm, thank god that they take their privacy so seriously.' I thought relieved. 'At least I won't have to worry too much about almost killing the guys after barging into my room as I was getting dressed.' Naruto tend to always showed up at the most awkward of time and no matter how much I would beat up the blond idiot, he had always forgotten and would break down my door every morning when I was living in Konoha… ok, maybe I had a slight obsession with my home village and my friends but I couldn't help but miss them so much.
"This is the room for my partner and me. He's in the infirmary right now so you're going to sleep on his bed for now. He sleeps near the door. Dinners in an hour. You can either stay in the room or come to the dinning room after you get situated. Don't go into the other member's room and don't go looking in our belongings. The bathroom is two doors down to the left. I believe that Konan already brought your clothes." Kisame said. I nodded my head.
Once he walked away and turned the corner to go downstairs to the kitchen, I opened the bedroom door. Hisoka and I were both alert sensing for any anyone who might try and jump out and kill us but, no one was there.
As we entered further in, I noticed that the room was quite large. The room had a giant window that allowed you to look out into the surrounding forest. It was quite beautiful but the walls kind of ruined it since it was such a bland color; charcoal. It caused the room to be a bit too dark seeing as the opened curtains on the window was easily just as dark and looked very thick. On the left side of the room, there was a sliding door that was obviously the closet that had mirrors on it. Right next to it was shelves that was filled with books and scrolls. They were all neatly stacked and they were in an alphabetical order. I noticed two beds right nest to each other. However, there was a small wooden drawer that separated the beds from one another. One bed was against the wall near the door while the other was close to the window and right in front of the closet. The bed near the door looked all neat and tidy as if no one had ever slept in it. The bed spread was black and red with two puffy black and red pillows and a black and red bed sheet. The bed near the window had a grey, white and dark blue bed spread on it. In the corner near the book shelf, there was a table with a small lamp on it. It was the most unorganized place in the room since there were open scrolls and stack of books and papers on it. There was a wooden chair stationed there. A small desk holding another lamp similar to the lamp on the table stood between the two beds with a small gap between both the beds and the table.
The clothes and things I would need for cleaning myself that I assumed was brought in by Konan was laying on the black and red bed. There was at least two sets of clothing. I grabbed the one on top and faced Hisoka.
"Hisoka, stay in here while I go and take a quick shower." I ordered. He gave me a lazy look before jumping onto the bed and laying down to take a quick nap.
I rolled my eyes at his laziness and left the room to go to the bathroom.
As I entered, the bathroom I felt relieved that it was clean unlike the living room and kitchen. Unlike the rest of the house where it seemed all nice and fancy, the bathroom looked moderate. The floor and cabinet were wood like tiles and the wall was a creamy color. On the left side, there was two sinks and a giant mirror. Next to the sink and against the back wall was a toilet. Next to the toilet was hooks where I assumed you put the towels on. There was a bathtub against the right wall with white curtains on it. And right next to that was a small closet that, when I opened it, there was empty hangers hanging there.
I grabbed two of the hangers and used it to hang up the clean clothing that Konan had brought me.
I quickly began to strip and step into the shower to take a nice 10 minute shower before stepping back out. I quickly dried my hair and body before rewrapping the wrap around my breast and putting on my clothing and looking into the mirror.
'My hair is starting to grow again.' I thought as I looked at my hair. I contemplated on cutting it back to its boyish look but decided to just use a red ribbon to tie it back. A bit of my pink hair was still a bit too short to be put into a ponytail so I just left it there. I put on black fingerless gloves that I had brought with me and secured my pouch filled with weapons, scrolls and poison. On my left arm, there was a pouch filled with small throwing knives and shuriken. On my right thigh, another pouch was there that was also filled with small weapons but these had poison that caused either death or temporary paralysis. Luckily, I had an antidote for each one just in case I accidentally prick myself with it again… It happened… a lot.
I secured my new sword onto my back since it came with a lack case.
I wore a simple red tee-shirt and black jumpsuit pants. I put on black shoes and tighten around my ankle with a red lace.
I exited the bathroom and went into Kisame's room. Hisoka had woken up, stretched and jumped off the bed before walking towards me. I scratched him behind the ears before going to the bed and sitting down on it. I began to examine the room once more when I noticed something I had not before.
On top of the table, there was a black glass case on the wall that had two samurai swords on it. It was a black and white sword with a shuriken design in the middle between the two swords. The shuriken was a mixture of black and silver that swirled together.
I felt drawn to the swords and for some odd reason, my chess suddenly start burning.
I reached for my chest and took out the necklace that was hanging on my neck and hidden by my shirt.
I looked at my chess and noticed that my skin where the necklace had been resting on was slightly red.
I took off the necklace so I can examine it more. For some odd reason, Hisoka seemed to tense up and back away from me. 'Hisoka what's wrong?!' I thought expecting him to be hurt. He didn't say anything. He was quiet as he laid against the wall and stared at the necklace with a scared look on his face as his quiver a bit.
I touched the scale of the dragon and when I reached the snout of the dragon near the ruby eyes, the eyes glowed a bright red light and blinded me.
"Shit!" I hissed as I dropped the necklace and covered my eyes.
Hisoka came running to me and began sniffing and nudging my hands and foot while whining.
'Hime!' Hisoka said worriedly.
I removed my hands and opened my eyes and tried to rid the bright spots as I blinked and rubbed my eyes a couple of time.
'What the hell was that?' I thought as I picked up the necklace. Nothing happened and I decided to just wrap it in a black cloth and put it in my pocket so that I can look at it later.
'Hime, what happened?'
'I don't know... it had something to do with those two swords on the wall. I will ask kisame if I can see it but for now, I will keep it hidden.' I thought.
'~hello my lovelies~' the sing-songy voice of inner said as she suddenly appeared in my head.
'Where the hell were you?' Hisoka demanded.
'I went mind searching through the members head. You would not believe all the juicy details I gotten.' Inner said with a secretive voice.
'Hime could have died while you went to go stalk people! What the hell is wrong with you?' Hisoka said enraged.
'I didn't almost die.' I tried to intervene but they both ignored me as they continued to argue.
I gave an exaggerated sigh before exiting the room.
"Come on Hisoka, let's go get something to eat." I said while he followed me and stayed even closer to me than usual. Inner had disappeared once more to go stalk- I mean gather information on the other members.
AKATSUKI P.O.V.
For the members who have not yet met the new members, they were quite paranoid and tense.
The hideout was way too quiet ever since Kisame, Deidara, and even Hidan came back from their mission.
Sasori, Tobi, Kakuzu, Deidara, and Hidan were sitting in the living room. Kisame was in the kitchen cooking since he was the only one who can cook something edible that will not move and/or kill them.
Sasori observed the other members. Kakuzu kept giving quick glances at the staircase while counting his money over and over again since he kept loosing count. Deidara, Hidan and Tobi sat next to each other while watching TV. Deidara seemed to be thinking about something as he absently molded the clay into a ball. Hidan watched the TV but it looked as if he wasn't even paying attention as his eyes looked dazed off. Tobi was the one that freaked him out the most. He was quiet!
Sasori was not use to this. Tobi should have been running around the hideout screaming about how he was a 'Good boy!' while Deidara chased him and tried to bomb they and Hidan trying to hack there head off with his scythe for interrupting him while he worshipped Jashin.
He should have felt glad that it was quiet and the blond brat wasn't annoying him but instead, he felt wary. It was just too quiet.
'Maybe Kisame knows what has happened.' Sasori thought seeing as this predicament occurred the moment they returned from their mission. All he knew was that they had brought someone back with them but he didn't know who.
He walked into the kitchen and noticed Kisame seemed lost in thought as he was preparing food. He was absently cutting vegetables and would have accidentally cut his fingers off if it weren't for his ninja senses.
'Never mind. I will just have to figure it out myself.' Sasori thought as he returned to the living room and sat back on the couch and decided to watch TV.
Itachi was still in the infirmary in the basement however, he felt something was off seeing as he didn't hear the annoying 'I AM A GOOD BOY!' from the masked idiot echoing throughout the compound or it shake from the usual explosion when the blond idiot tried to kill Tobi and always fail. He didn't feel the dark aura that Kakuzu would usually leak after they break something or Hidan gets to him. It seemed that Kisame has forgotten about his since when he would get hurt (which was very rare), he would bring books or other things upon request for him to entertain himself. He asked him to bring him his scrolls that was left opened on the desk in there room… that was three hours ago. Another thing was that there was a foreign chakra in the compound. It didn't felt threatening but, it was very powerful.
'Hm, I will investigate tomorrow.' Itachi thought ignoring the incoming pain he felt in his stomach.
Zetsu was stalking the other members. He learned to not stalk the new boy again seeing as the boy can sense him even while he was in the wall and hiding his chakra. He didn't know why, but he felt some type of feeling towards him that he did not understand when he saw the sexy boy.
'Sexy? Where the hell did that come from?! Maybe I'm just hungry…' Zetsu thought before merging into the floor and following a recent scent of rogue ninjas while still having troubling thoughts about a certain pinkete floating in his conscious.
Nagato was still doing paperwork while Konan helped him.
'Damn that Madara!' Pein thought as it seemed the pile of paperwork will never finish.
An hour later and dinner was finally ready. The other members were already situated at the table with the food on the table. Pein hardly ever joined them for dinner and Konan was the one who would get dinner for the both of them but for today, Pein decided to eat with the others just so that he can evaluate the new guy.
Pein sat at the right end of the table while Konan sat on his right. On the left side, it was empty since this is usually where Itachi sat. Tobi sat next to Konan happily eating pink and purple berries he found in the woods near the hideout and across from him sat Kisame. Sasori sat next to Kisame and his partner sat on his right side. Across from him sat Kakuzu who sat next to Hidan. Between Kakuzu and Tobi, there was an empty seat. Zetsu sat next to Hidan at the other end of the table and right next to him, was a empty chair which was next to Deidara.
They were all eating until they heard an annoyed voice belonging to a male enter into the dining room.
"Hisoka, I'm alright!" a pink haired boy said as he entered with a black wolf. He was looking down at the big black wolf who kept close to her right leg.
He missed the heart filled eyes accompany with drooling mouths that some of the members had. The blushed filled face of the blue haired girl caused the ginger haired Leader to glare at the pinkete. Sasori just stared in surprise at the stranger who walked in as if they owned the place. Now he knew why his partner was so quiet and had hearts in his eyes. The guy was quite beautiful. With the exotic hair color, the angelic face and toned body, any girl (or guy) would fall in love on first sight.
When the boy looked up, he noticed that they were all looking at him, some with weird faces. He suddenly became tense at their stares.
"Ah… gomennesai. I barged in here and interrupted your dinner." He said before bowing down.
"IT'S OK SAKU-KUN! YOU'RE SO PRETTY LIKE TOBI'S SEMPAI! TOBI IS A GOOD BOY!" Tobi exclaimed before jumping onto the poor pinkete who just sweat dropped.
"GRRRRR!" a growl was heard from the mutt who was about to tear the masked idiot into two halves.
Tobi saw the mutt and hearts somehow formed on the eye hole on the mask.
"PUPPY!"
He was about to pet Hisoka who was about to rip his arm off when Hidan smacked him in the back of the head and a sushi went sailing across the room and lodging itself into the eye hole.
"You dumb ass. Leave the fucking mutt alone. Even animals don't fucking like you" Hidan said with a glare.
"WHY SEMPAI AND HIDAN-KUN HURT TOBI?! TOBI IS A GOOD BOY!" Tobi cried while jumping across the table and tackling Deidara while 'accidentally' kicking Hidan in the face who cursed and brought his scythe out and was going to chop Tobi's head off.
'Why do I feel like the exact same scenario happened before?' Kisame and Saku thought before starring at the three idiots.
"ENOUGH!" an angry voice was heard. All the members froze and looked up to see a seething Konan. Hell, even Pein was surprised that his usually quiet and stoic partner could get so mad.
"You three idiots, SIT BACK IN YOUR SEATS AND EAT QUIETLY! NOW!" Konan commanded. They all scattered back to their seats leaving Saku the only one standing there feeling a bit afraid of the blue haired beauty. Nagato had hearts in his eyes as he watched his angel scold them.
"I am sorry for their rude greetings Saku-san. Please find a seat and enjoy the meal that Kisame-san has prepared."
"Sushi-kun can cook?" Saku asked in a playful tone. The other members snickered at Kisame's new nickname. He just glared them to silence but he secretly felt special that Saku had given him a nickname.
"No need for formalities Ko-chan. You can just call me Saku." Saku said with a genuine smile towards the blue haired beauty. Konan blushed once more before giving a quick shy smile towards Saku.
He looked at the empty seats trying to find a place to sit when he saw the smiling sushi who kept pointing towards the seat next to him. Saku was about to walk over until he noticed the intense glare Pein had directed towards him and he sweat dropped before deciding to plop next to Zetsu and Deidara after sending an apologetic smile towards Kisame. He just shrugged his shoulder and continued to eat.
Throughout their whole exchange, Deidara and Hidan kept shooting glares at Kisame.
"When the fuck did they get so close (un)?" They both thought.
When Saku sat next to Deidara and Zetsu, Deidara had a smug look on his face. Hidan turned his glare ten folds on the blond before stabbing the poor onigiri who had done nothing wrong.
SAKURA POV
As I sat between Deidara and a man with plant like things on his head, I asked Hidan if I can have the plate next to him that no one was using. He handed the plate to me with a questioning look seeing as how there was a perfectly clean plate already in front of me.
I heard whining and I looked down to see Hisoka giving me the most adorable puppy dog eyes I have ever seen. I looked at the other members and saw that most had a 'awwww' look on their face except for Pein, Kakuzu, the guy who was bi colored, and the guy with red hair.
I just rolled my eyes at their gullibility since he does this every time I have food or he wants something.
I began to pile food upon food on both plate and I can feel their gaze on me but I continued to ignore them.
"Here you go Hisoka." I said while putting the plate down so he can eat.
"Why did you give all that fucking food to the damn mutt?" Hidan asked as if he were above MY Hisoka.
"His name is Hisoka. He hasn't eaten anything since we arrived and I have been neglecting him lately" I said while scratching the back of Hisoka's ear while he was eating.
"Why do you love that mu- I mean Hisoka so much un" Deidara quickly corrected himself when I glared at him.
"He's family" I said simply while shrugging my shoulders. None of the members asked anymore questions about Hisoka seeing as how I looked as if I wasn't going to answer it anyways.
I devoured my own food. They stared at me in surprise as I finished more food than even Kisame had on his plate before they all did.
"What?" I snapped as I noticed them staring at me. I didn't mean to be rude but their staring was starting to get on my nerves.
They looked away and I rolled my eyes as I stood up to put my dishes away.
"Domo arigato Kisame-san. That was a very delicious meal you have prepared." I said while giving a respectful bow and a small genuine smile towards the giant sushi who was blushing and gave me a close eyed smile.
I faced the others and gave them a smile. "Thank you for your hospitality. Hope you take care of me while I am here. I will be in Sushi-kuns room if you need me." I said before bowing down again. Hisoka was right beside me with his own plate balanced on the top of his head (a technique I taught him and he mastered). He just stared at them before walking into the dirty kitchen as I followed. I placed our plates near the sink that was already piled up with plates, cups and other eating and cooking utensils.
'Sucks for whoever has to clean all this' I thought.
"IT'S NOT MY TURN!" I heard a variety of voices say at the same time.
"Well, Kisame is not going to wash the dishes since he was the one who had to cook." Said an angry feminine most likely belonging to Konan.
"Why don't you fucking do it bitch?! You and the blond transvestite at least look like fucking woman!" Said the voice of Hidan.
It became quiet but I can feel two murdering intents coming from the dining room. I began to inch towards the door to go back out into the living room so I can escape Konan and Deidara's wrath and into the safety of Kisame's bedroom. I can sense that the rest of the members already left.
I was already near the stairs with Hisoka on my heals before I heard a loud scream causing me to jump a little.
"AHHHH! IT WAS A JOKE! IT WAS A FUCKING JOKE!... WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING WITH THAT BIRD BLONDIE?! WAI- AHHHHHH!" a sudden BOOM! Was heard and the whole compound shook.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU FUCKING SEXIST PIG!" Konan yelled. I felt a strong sense of chakra being used.
"BITCH GET THE FUCK OFF ME!...WHAT THE FUC- OWWW BITCH, THAT FUCKING HURT! AND NOT IN THE GOOD WAY!"
"Here you go Tobi. Why don't you go play treasure hunt with Hidan's head in the wood. Make sure to hide it very deep underground." Came the sickening sweet voice of Konan.
"OK KONAN-CHAN! TOBI IS A GOOD BOY!" Said the energetic masked man before I see him zoom out of the kitchen with Hidan's head in his hand that was cursing at the masked idiot.
Konan walked out of the dining room. As she notices me, she gave a slight blush as I gave her an amused smile.
"Well, that was something. Is it always like this around here?" I asked.
"More or less. You get used to it after a while." Konan answered. I just nodded my head and Konan left.
I began to walk up the stairs when Deidara's voice stopped me.
"Hahahaha fucking dumb man-whore got a taste of my true art un!" Deidara said followed by a sinister cackle.
"Did you guys fucking see that bitch explo- wait… YOU FUCKING ASS HOLES UN!" followed by a line of curses.
I snickered as he finally noticed they ditched him and now he had to do the dishes. I continued my way up the stairs with Hisoka.
"Well, this will definitely be interesting eh Hisoka?" I said while scratching the back of his head. He just barked as we finally reached Kisame's door and entered into his room.
Kisame was sitting on his bed and as I entered, he gave me a quick look before returning to polishing a large sword.
I went to lay on the bed next to his and Hisoka jumped up and laid besides me. I closed my eyes and felt comfort overcome me as Hisoka's fur kept me warm. I didn't put the cover over us knowing by tomorrow, I would have sweat a puddle in the bed.
"Your going to sleep already? It's only 8." I heard the sushi say.
"It's been a long day." I answered back a bit groggily.
"Oh. Well, good night." He said.
"Mmmmm, night" I said.
I heard him chuckle as I began to drift to sleep.
"Sweet dreams Pinky." My mind registered him saying but I was already out cold dreaming about my new…family.
