You walked up to your new school, Canterlot High School. You had heard rumors about this place. Something about a she-demon and students with wings and pony ears, and then another one about beautiful sirens infiltrating the school. You had never believed any of those rumors. Near the entrance to the building, you saw three girls, probably seniors judging by their height, engaged in a deep conversation with each other.
"And just how are we going to support ourselves now, Adagio?" the purple-skinned one asked. "We always have to use our magic to get food and stuff."
"What have I told you about your monologues, Aria?" the yellow-skinned one, presumably Adagio, responded.
Aria brushed her off.
"We need to find some way to get our magic back. The Rainbooms have magic reserved in themselves, so we surely have magic residing in ourselves as well."
You knew that you were supposed to go inside, but you were simply enraptured by Adagio. You inched closer to her.
"Did you hear that?" the blue-skinned girl asked.
"What?" Adagio turned around.
"Oh, it's just a freshman. You should be in class."
"Sorry," you said. "I just had to get closer to you three. Your presence is simply... magnificent!"
You almost swore that you saw Adagio smirk.
"Can you sing?" she asked.
"Can I sing? I love to sing! Want me to demonstrate?"
Adagio nodded, and you quickly sang a verse from [F/S].
As soon as you finished, you saw that Adagio was clapping. She walked up to you, and you blushed.
"Can I tell you something?" she asked.
"Anything."
"I haven't seen you around here before, so I'm guessing that you don't know about this, but have you heard anything about sirens infiltrating the school?"
You nodded.
"Those sirens are us."
"W-what?" you stammered.
"You heard her," Aria said. "Well, we technically aren't even magical anymore. We lost most of our power, but Adagio thinks there might still be magic in us."
"Exactly," Adagio grinned, then turned back to you. "You can sing very well. I was thinking that you could help us get our powers back."
"Me? How could I be of any use? I mean, I'm just a freshman."
"Don't worry. I have a plan."
