Once again fair readers, my deepest apologies for neglecting these stories. This is actually the last one I have pre-written, and my uni schedule is pretty hectic this semester, so I'm not really sure if/when I'll get the chance to write too much until after the semester. However, do feel free to send in any ideas, as per usual. You never know when something may pique my muse. Anyway. Waylo sent me the prompt for this chapter, so thank you and sorry to make you wait for it for so long.

Could you do one of where Gabes and Riles are cornered by a group and when they part ways to fight, she gets caught by a few. When Gabes finds her captured and tried to talk them out, she takes out her captors. Please? I don't really get to see her in action on the show that much.

"Riley, take the left, I'll take the right. We won't be able to find the laptop if we stay together." Riley popped up from where she was hiding behind a crate and fired a few shots before crouching down again.

"Are you crazy?" She asked, checking how many shots she had left. "Last time I took the left, you ended up with a bullet hole." Gabriel rolled his eyes.

"Fine, you go right, I'll take the left." Riley nodded.

"Don't do anything stupid," she said as she fired a few cover rounds before sprinting to the right of their position, taking out two of the mercenaries.

Riley heard a shout of surprise to her left as Gabriel popped out and moved, the mercenary closest to him dropping to the ground with a bullet in his chest. Riley kept moving, ducking under splintering crates and whizzing bullets. She had just scrambled around a corner, not having time to check who was around it. Unfortunately, three armed men ran down the corridor at that time, and another two moved behind her. She dropped her gun and raised her hands, knowing there was no chance to escape here.

Meanwhile Gabriel had cleared the other half of the building, and was circling around to where Riley should have been. When he stepped around a corner and bullets immediately flew past him, he knew something was wrong. Gabriel quickly pulled up the satellite feed of the building and spotted a group of people clumped together in a small room. Diverting his attention to the gunmen nearest him, Gabriel quickly took them down and cleared his way through to the room.

"Gabriel, wait-" As Gabriel stepped in through the doorway, he spotted Riley, arms pinned against a wall, and a mercenaries fist crashing into her jaw. She struggled against her restrainers, but didn't show how much the punch had hurt.

Two of the other men in the room spun with their guns raised as Gabriel walked further in, and Gabriel dropped his gun, raising his hands in surrender.

"Look," he said as he warily watched the two men closest to him. "If you let her go, we can all walk out of here alive and with all body parts intact." The mercenary closest to Riley spat out a laugh and drilled a fist into her stomach. "I'm being serious," Gabriel continued. "If you let us go, no one will know what happened here." The mercenary nearest Riley waved the two men toward Gabriel, and one pinned his wrists together behind his back. In that moment, Riley took advantage of the distracted restraining henchmen, and kicked out at one, knocking him down before doing the same to the second. She dodged a punch from the mercenary that had been throwing punches at her before, and launched a kick to his midsection which threw him backwards into the wall, slumping unconscious.

After a moments hesitation and surprise, Gabriel swung into action, headbutting the man behind him, releasing his wrists before he managed to deliver a punch which took care of the last man.

"Riley, you ok?" Gabriel peered over his shoulder as the last man crashed into the ground. She had a hand pressed to her jaw, but seemed otherwise uninjured.

"I'm fine," she replied, grinning. "Nice job distracting them," Riley said as she walked toward him. "But maybe next time, don't drop your gun."

Thanks for reading and sticking with me, and don't forget to leave a review on your way out!
