I'll update my other fics soon I just have to get through the next two days! My last day of finals and my SAT Subject Tests! Wish me luck MKxNod shippers. Here's a short fic just for you!

"Put your arms around me!"

I was getting blown away back to my size, my world. I was getting the chance to go home, but all I could think about was him. I was leaving him, possibly forever, to face my world and my mom's death.

Once I was a "stomper" again, would he even want to remember me, the daughter of the guy who he had joked about to be the laughable "MY ELBOW" guy?

But I just knew. If I felt his arms around me just one more time, everything would be okay. To feel his head on mine, his hands encircling me into a warm embrace, and to just be close to him one more time.

My mom always told me that even though she left my dad, she knew he was the one she would love forever. Even if his work made it too hard for her to be around, she just knew. She never even glanced at another man, only looking back to my dad, my dad obsessed with tiny little creatures protecting the forest.

I had only known Nod for a day, but it was all I needed to know. Know that he was the one. Know that I would never be able to love anyone the same way I do him.

As the wind grows stronger I feel his arms around me as they begin to weaken against nature's force pulling me away, my legs already off the ground

For the second time I feel his arms on mine just trying to hold on a bit longer as if clinging to the dream that I could stay forever if only he held me long enough.

Soon my body has been pulled from his and he's barely hanging onto my arms. I look into his eyes, filled with fear and my heart breaks. I'm not the only one who's afraid. I'm not the only one who's feeling so much.

With the last of my strength I pull him towards me and I kiss him. He kisses back and as the wind picks up and the last of my strength withers, I whisper to him.

"I'll come back to you."

But he doesn't respond and the wind pulls me from his arms with a definite tug and soon I'm being carried just by its force. I feel terribly cold, but I know it's not from the wind.

As it carries me away I see Nod looking up to me it the sky. The new queen, having completed her part of my transformation, approaches him from behind and as she puts her hand on his shoulder, his gaze never leaves mine.

But soon I'm too far and spinning to fast to make him out from the rest of the forest as everything is a blur of green. My eyes begin to tear and it suddenly it feels hard to breathe.

But as I start to close my eyes I hear one thing, a message, carried by the wind. It's a voice, his voice. As I let the wind and nature's power return me to my normal size, I close my eyes and I just listen to the sound of his voice as the wind recites his message.

"I'll be waiting."
