13. Piyo
Piyo had grown up to be a beautiful hen that laid eggs in order to help a poor farmer earn money.
When her companions got sick, however, egg production decreased and the farmer's family started to go hungry.
That's when Piyo decided she'd gotten too old for her job. She laid a couple of eggs, waited for them to hatch, and then offered herself to be put into the oven.
