[A/N: long awaited chapter 4, hooray!]

It soon became morning after the vampire and human boy drifted off to sleep, and the two were still close together. The bright morning sun slowly awoke the blonde and he moved out of Marshall's grasp and stretched his arms. His peaceful awakening had soon been interrupted though by what sounded like a loud screech and then a tree falling. This had then awoken Jake and Marshall Lee both. Finn sprung to his feet and went to the window only to see that the entire forest was ablaze. Finn's mouth gaped open as he saw the destruction and the fire seemed to move faster until they saw the cause. Finn turned his head only to see that Flame Princess had transformed into her larger, angry form and was burning down everything in sight. She turned her attention to the tree-house and screamed before shooting a spiral of flames towards the grass just outside of the tree-house. Marshall soon joined Finn's side and stared down at all the turmoil and the gazed at the enraged female.

"Uh... Finn, you know that psycho?" The vampire spoke softly as he looked at Finn, trying to analyze the boys feelings at this point in time.

"Yeah... That's my ex.." Finn rushed past the vampire and hurried outside with Jake following in suit.

Finn rushed out his tree-house doors and was greeted with immense heat. The fire had developed fast where Flame Princess had shot it and it engulfed the area surrounding his home. Finn bit his lip as he rushed into his garage and found the fire suit he had created beforehand. He and Jake quickly put on the suits and ran back out. Marshall on the other hand had no idea what was going on, other than Finn had one crazy ex. He floated himself down to where Finn was and stared at the young boy.

"Finn. what... What is going on?" The vampire asked with concern, although he really only cared about Finn's safety.

"I don't know, but stay out of the way!" Finn rushed passed Marshall with a determined expression and pressed the bright red button to ignite the jets in is flameproof suit.

He soon was up in the air and looked back at Jake who was close behind and he went right up to the large Flame Princess and without hesitation began to spray her with the foam, which resulted in the girl shrieking in pain, only shrinking slightly in size. The girl then swung her arm, directly knocking Finn to the ground. He cringed from the impact but immediately pushed himself back up. He flew to her again, and stopped, hovering right in front of her.

"Flame Princess! Why are you doing this?!" Finn screamed over the sound of the roaring fire, hoping that she heard him.

She indeed heard the boy and let out another loud scream as she pointed directly at Marshall Lee. "We just broke up and yo are already with... with that?! How dare you! Were... Were you just playing with my feelings? Never really liked me?! Is that it?!" She snarled as she stared at Marshall with eyes full of hatred.

" What?! No...I...I loved you Flame Princess, but... but we broke up and I moved on. I'm sorry!" He frowned as he stared at his ex, who at this point was terrifying.

Flame Princess screamed as she rushed forward and grabbed Marshall Lee in her large hand and squeezed him. Marshall squirmed in pain from the fire, not to mention that the sun was now full ascended into the sky. She kept her grasp on the boy and brought him to her face and narrowed her gaze at him. "It's your fault!" She shrieked and slammed Marshall into the ground and turned towards the Candy Kingdom.

"I will destroy /everything/ you love, Finn the Human!" She darted towards the kingdom and Finn stared after her before jumping out of the suit. The boy made his way to Marshall and picked him up, carrying him into the tree-house. Luckily, as Flame Princess left the area the fire subsided around the house. Now, as soon as Finn made it to the house he threw Marshall on the couch and obtained as much ice as he could and lied it on the raven-haired male to soothe his burns. Finn knelt beside of the couch as he looked at his lover and began to tear up, shaking his head as Jake came by and patted Finn on the back.

"Marshall... I'm so sorry, dude. I didn't mean to drag you into all this crud.." He leaned forward and placed a soft kiss on the vampire' cheek.

"Heh.. Finn, don't worry. Just, go save people. That's what you do best, right?" Marshall spoke softly, after all he was in immense pain although he would never let Finn know,

"You're right... I have to go save Ooo. I won't fail!" With that the boy hurried out the door again, off to save the entirety of the Candy Kingdom.

A/N: Don't worry, chapter 5 is the remainder. How'd ya'll like this drama-bomb though? And, I apologize for it being rather short, I'm sick at the moment so it's difficult to think of much detail.. Anyway!
