Chapter 6

The two slumbering boys had finally awoken, still happily snuggled up in one another's arms. Marshall Lee was the first to awaken and as he saw the cute blonde male wrapped up in his arms, he couldn't help but to grow a warm smile. Then, the vampire had began to feel the impact that the burns had on his body from the day prior. He began to writhe in a motionless pain, as he didn't want to wake up the other. Though, it was too late. The blonde was already stirring as he only clung tighter to the gray-skinned male. Finn emitted a rather, sleepy yawn as he slowly allowed his eyes to flutter open. As he saw this, Marshall had lifted the boy up closer and as he spotted the blue hues looking right at him, he leaned in to place a cold, yet loving kiss to the blonde's temple. This action caused Finn's cheeks to burn as hot as the fire wolves that roam the land.

"M-Marshall, jeez dude! Don't lump up my insides so early in the morning!" Finn stated as he averted his gaze from the other tried to cover his cheeks. It was to no avail as the vampiric being had seen the rosy red that plagued the younger' cheeks and his tongue had slithered out to graze the hot flesh. This caused Finn to let out a surprised yelp and he just hid himself the best he could.

"Aw, but Finny. If I stopped, I wouldn't have gotten such a cute reaction from you." The vampire let out a snicker as he held the blonde close. As he did, Jake had walked down the stairs and looked at the two.

"Aye, Finn I'm gonna make Bacon Pancakes if you'd like some." The dog stated as he went and began to prepare the batter.

"Alright! I'll take some!" Finn popped his head out from hiding long enough to look at Jake and slither out of the vampires hold. Once gone, he ran upstairs and went to do his business, such as changing clothes, and what not. He had washed up some and downstairs, Jake had begun to cook the pancakes as Marshall watched curiously.

"Bacon pancakes, makin' bacon pancakes. Take some bacon and put it in a pancake. Bacon pancakes, that's what I'm gonna make. Bacon pancake~!" Jake had sung as he made the breakfast food. Marshall Lee couldn't help but watch and emit a chuckle. He wasn not used to this much happiness in one household, and it was rather nice.

Soon, Finn came down all freshened up and just in time for breakfast. He plopped down at the kitchen table and happily began to eat, where Jake had already been chowing down on the pancakes and Marshall was shoving his fangs into strawberries and sucked the red out. Finn picked up a pancake with his fork and just engulfed the entire disc in one movement. Marshall watched this with slight astonishment and Finn just did the same with a second pancake. Finn really had no idea as to how to act near a significant other. After awhile Finn had ate his fill and leaned back in his chair, extending his arms upward to stretch them. Marshall had finished awhile back, and he had began to float around the two adventurers adobe. He investigated every nook and cranny, trying to find any difference between this tree-house, and the one that was back in Aaa other than the fact that Fionna's was a bit cleaner.

Finn hopped up out of the chair and took his plate to the sink and let it plop into the water. After he had done that he approached Marshall and looked at him curiously.

"What are you doin'?" Finn tilted his head to the side with a perplexed expression.

"Hm? I'm just comparing your house to the girls house in my land. It's the exact same. Kinda weird."

Finn nodded and shrugged his shoulders. He soon got bored with that and went to the ladder, looking over at Marshall. "I'm gonna go adventuring, if ya wanna go dude?"

The vampire nodded and floated after Finn, following the male down the ladder. Finn let his cursed grass sword pop in and out as he walked. He turned and headed to the forest as if to find a dungeon to explore. Once the two had made it to the forest Finn began to knock on trees and rocks, and pretty much everything to see if it was hollow. After ten minutes, Finn found a tree that eluded to the shape of a skull that had a hollow center. The blonde tapped around and lifted a pitch black rock that shoved the door down into the depths of the ground. Once the door had vanished, Finn and Marshall entered the dungeon, with no thought as to the horrors, or pleasures they may find within the dungeon depths.

A/N: Again, sorry I'm getting bad at writing and ugh, if anyone has suggestions as to what I should do in the next chapter, please tell me! I love to hear feedback, and whatnot. But, here ya go.
