Marco vs The School Dance
AN: This is the third and final chapter of this story. My hands have been tired from writing and typing a lot lately but I don't care because I will write and type these stories for you guys to enjoy. As always, hope you enjoy this chapter. Chapter 3:
(No One's POV)
With the week of having Marco and Star chilling together for the past four days was a success. They played all kinds of bored games and watched all kinds of TV and talked about almost everything they could think of. Today was Friday, the day of the school dance and by the time they waited for Friday to come, the school had been fixed for the gas problems. Sadly, this meant that both Star and Marco had to go back to school but it wasn't so bad because it was the last day of the week and that the school dance was tonight.
(Marco's POV)
Alright awesome! School is back in session which means that it is the last day of the week and the dance. Oh the dance, I really can't wait for it and finally ask Star out. I've been waiting for this moment forever. But with school being back for one more day of the week, we have to go for just this day but it means that I get to walk with Star. So with that on my mind now, I quickly wake up star and again she gets up and jets out of bed. Unusually, she gives me a really huge hug which was very unexpected and it made me blush like crazy. Her hugs are always so soft and amazing. After all of this hugging we finally head out of house and start walking to the school with happy smiles on both of our faces. With all my happy emotions pouring all over me, i start asking Star about the dance and who she was going with. She said she wasn't going with anyone and with me not going with anyone either, I suck up to ask her if she wanted to go to the dance with me. She grinned ever so hard and said yes with another hug.
(Star's POV)
He asked me to the dance! a definite yes came out of me so fast like a cheetah. I can finally be with Marco at the dance and I don't have to worry about it anymore also. Now all i could think about was the kind of dress i was going to wear to the dance. Maybe i can wear a red sparkly dress with red flats or maybe a yellow dress to match my blonde hair. I don't know, I'll think of it when the time comes for tonight. Me and Marco finally make it to school in time to get to our first period which is Social Studies, a class I am very interested in currently because it is so fascinating. But today I wasn't really paying attention because Marco was staring at me in the cutest way. I couldn't help but stare back because he was just the most handsome and adorable ever. The teacher was talking about how a map can lead you in the direction that you want to go and all I could make out from it was that Marco was the map and that he can lead his heart into mine. Such a cutie. The next four classes, Marco. Lunch time, Marco. Finally it was time to leave school and walk home with Marco, my favorite thing to do. Now the next thing on my list is getting ready for the dance. When we get there, I ask Marco if he could give me four hours to get ready(yes it takes a princess like me to get ready). He says that it's cool and leaves me to get ready for the most special night of my life.
(Marco's POV)
Star asks me to give her time to get ready and with knowing how long girls take to get ready, I let her use that time to do so. This also gives me time to chill for a couple of hours before the dance and get ready myself. So to pass the time, I sit and listen to my favorite bands like The Beatles, Rolling Stones, and The Monkees. They usually have the songs to make me feel so good about myself and very relaxed. While looking at the time that ultimately flied by so fast, I realize its 6:50. This means that I only have ten minutes to get ready. Quickly I took the fastest shower I could, put on some cologne, put on my tux, and with three minutes to spare I finally am ready for the dance. I go get Star and she opens up the door before I could get there and I don't believe my eyes. Star is wearing a sparkly blue dress with a blue hair band and blue flats. She look magnificent, so beautiful, so amazing. Those gorgeous blue eye complete the outfit perfectly. "You look fantastic Star"
"Thanks Marco! Hugs!"
She gives me the biggest hug and I blushed. I could tell that Star was blushing too.
(No One's POV)
And off the two loving teenagers went for the school dance they were a little late to with all the hugging and compliments. Star and Marco are seen walking towards the school with big, ear to ear smiles on their faces. They were so happy to be with each other. Principle Skeeves greets the duo at the doors and shows them where the dance is which is in the gym. Marco then holds up his arm to usher Star in like a true gentleman and when they walk into the gym, all eyes are upon them. Everyone then cheers and proceeds with the dance.
(Star's POV)
Marco was such a gentleman in ushering me into the dance. He's the best guy I have ever been with. I hear my favorite song come on which is "Shout" by the Isley Brothers and I yank Marco over to dance with me and he doesn't hesitate to pull away, he just dances with me. He pulls the worm on me and I use my regular dance moves as I used in when we went to that dimension with Pony Head. He's a really great dancer indeed, better than anyone else I've seen. This dance is going very good so far but I was getting a little thirsty so I told Marco that i was going to be by the punch bowl. He told me that he'll meet me there in a second so off I went to the punch bowl where I meet Jackie and Brittany.
"You look so gorgeous Star"
"Thanks Brittany!"
"Yeah, you can get any guy with your outfit and your looks girl. And speaking of getting any guy, who did you come to the dance with?"
"Thank you Jackie, and I went to the dance with Marco."
Both the girls just stared at me for a second, looked at each other, and then looked at me again. They then started squealing with Jackie first speaking up followed by Brittany.
"You went with Marco!? You two look so cute together!"
"The Marco Diaz!? I agree with Jackie, you two look so cute together indeed!
"Thanks you two."
I blush really hard thinking about Marco again. Wonder where he is by the way, he said he'd meet me here.
(Marco's POV)
I was over by the wall with Ferguson who was wearing a buttoned up shirt that looked like it was going to pop off of him with grey dress pants and black dress shoes. He was talking to me about what he did with his four days off of school which took forever because he was explaining every detail about all the days. Finally after his long talk he asks me who I went with to the dance. He at least should've saw me with Star walking in with everyone's eyes turned to us but I guess he wasn't looking. Anyway I answer his question with saying that I went with Star. He paused for a moment and then whistled.
"Dude! You went with Star, Star Butterfly!?"
"Yes I did Ferguson as I already told you."
"You sir are one lucky to go with a girl like Star"
"I am aren't I?"
He fist bumps me and tells me that he will talk to me later. Now time to find Star over by the punch bowl. I wish these people would get out of the way but of course I don't have the magic to move crowds so I'll have to squeeze through them. I finally make it there to see Star. I tell her that we need to talk outside but as I said that, a slow song came on and decided that I should just talk with her during the slow dance. I ask Star for the dance which she excitingly says yes to and we stroll up to the dance floor and start dancing.
"Wow Star your a very good dancer."
"Thank you Marco. I've had to practice with my mother which was super embarrassing."
"I've had to practice with my mom also which was also embarrassing."
As I said that we both star laughing and then stare at each other in which time seemed to slow down just enough for me to see those sparkly beautiful eyes. Finally after all this time with me and Star dancing together slowly I can ask her out and tell her my true feelings. And so I slowly start speaking,
"Hey Star can I ask you something?"
"Sure Marco. What is it that you want to tell me?
"Star, you came to Earth, my school, and my house and literately turned my life upside down for the better. You have changed me to be a more kinder and loving person and there is a more important question that I want to ask you tonight. Will you, Princess Star Butterfly, by my girlfriend for as long as I live?
She stood there speechless and teary eyed until she said,
"Yes Marco! Yes I will be your girlfriend for as long as you live!"
We both finally hug and pull apart but not fully. With a final look in Star's awe gazing beautiful blue eyes I lean in and kiss her passionately. Everyone around us cheered loudly and whistled.
"I love you Star Butterfly."
"Awww I love you too Marco Diaz."

And with Marco finally spilling his feelings for her, they became girlfriend and boyfriend. They could both say that this was the best night of their lives.
