Chapter Thirteen
"Yes." She replied.
"So I'm not the oldest anymore?" Jack asked.
"No." Christy replied.
Corena saw her and ran towards Christy and gave her a hug. Henry followed her. They explained to the kids who she was. It seemed that they took it right. Corena was following Christy around. JJ noticed that Corena and Christy shared the same eating habits as their father. After breakfast and washing the dishes Christy wanted to know where her parents met for the first time. JJ looked at Hotch and he just nodded. They got ready to go out. Christy helped JJ put one of the twins in the car seat and Corena. They got to the destined place. JJ showed Christy, JJ's grandparents' house.
"Why don't we move here?" Christy asked Hotch. "It's big enough. The yard is perfect for the kids and we could add a swimming pool."
Hotch looked at JJ and she smiled. It was settled. They were moving. His mother was getting older and needed company. He called the team and asked if they wanted to help them. They all agreed. Rossi would provide the transportation of their things. After lunch with his Mother they went straight to the apartment to start packing. Within minutes the team was there to help them. Reid introduced Christy with Dayna and they clicked off immediately. Reid wasn't allowing Dayna to pick up anything heavy.
"So where do we start?" Morgan asked.
They started at the kids rooms and then followed Hotch's and JJ's room. They all wanted to take all of their things to the new home. The good thing was that the water and light were running. Rossi had designated himself to bring the food.
"Please tell me you're not allergic to Indian food." Rossi asked.
"I've never have tested Indian food."
"It's a little spicy but it's really good." Dayna said.
"So why aren't you eating it?" Christy asked.
Dayna pointed towards Reid. "No spicy foods."
After they had some food in their bellies they continued to work on the moving. The team helped them build the twins cribs and set up the rest of the kiddos beds.
"Thank you for helping us tonight." Hotch said.
"You're welcomed." Rossi stated.
"Have you heard from Ashley?" Emily asked.
"She called me last night asking for more time. Her mother-in-law had just passed away."
"That is sad to know." Reid stated.
"Who is Ashley?" Christy asked.
"She's another member of our team but right now she's attending family business."
Hotch noticed the tone Rossi used but didn't say anything about it.
"She has baby in belly." Rena said to Christy.
After a few more minutes the team left and JJ was helping Rena and Jack get ready to go to bed.
"We can go and look for a new bed for you tomorrow." Hotch said.
"That is cool, Dad."
JJ prepared the futon for Christy. JJ and Hotch tucked her in. After she closed her eyes they walked to what it would be their room and got ready to go to sleep.
"Mommy I'm scared." Christy said.
Hotch looked at the time. It was midnight.
"Did you have a nightmare?" JJ asked moving closer to Hotch giving her space.
"Yes."
"Get in bed. Let's sleep."
They waited till she closed her eyes before they went to sleep. When he woke up in the morning he noticed JJ watching closely at Christy. Few minutes later Christy woke up. Hotch walked to the door to check on the twins. When he got to the room Rena, Henry and Jack were already there. JJ walked into the room a few minutes later. Between the two of them change the diaper of the twins and got them ready. They agreed on having breakfast in a restaurant.
"Where are we going Momma?"
"We are going to your favorite place."
"Yes. You're going to love it Chrissy."
They got there and Christy helped them with Rena while JJ and Hotch got the twins. They entered the place and got seated on a table and waited for the waiter. They ordered their drinks.
"Chrissy, no juicy?" Rena asked.

"No not juice today."
"Since when do you drink coffee?" JJ asked.
"I drink coffee since I started working."
Christy ordered the same thing as her Dad. JJ ordered the usual for Jack, Corena and herself. After breakfast they went shopping for beds. They went to three different places and decided on one she really loved. They headed back home to prepare lunch. Christy wanted to prepare something for them. JJ was allowed to help her. JJ didn't want to pressure her.
"Why did she stayed with me?"
"I know she loved you. She had a weird form of love. I'd wish I had an answer for it but I don't. She would be the only person to tell you that."
"In my dream I died."
JJ gave her a hug. "Baby, it was just a dream."
"It seemed so real."
They talked a little bit more and then they started the lunch. JJ noticed that she enjoyed being in the kitchen. After a few more minutes they set up the table and called the family for lunch. Hotch's phone began to ring. JJ looked at him.
"Hotchner."
JJ got up to pick up the plates. She wasn't going to deny the fact that she felt strange being living in her grandparent's house but it was here were she had fallen in love with Hotch. Hotch walked behind her still phone in his ears.
"Dave is inviting us to see a movie. He's inviting the whole team."
"We can go."
"Dave, we're in." Hotch said.
Christy helped JJ washing the dishes while Jack helped Hotch with the kids. After a few more minutes they headed towards Dave's mansion. Christy was left speechless once she saw the mansion and at the same time Reid and Dayna were arriving. As soon as she got out of the car she was ambushed by Rena. They walked towards the door.
"What movie are we watching Uncle Dave?" Jack asked as soon as Rossi opened the door.
"I know it has to be a kid friendly movie. Since I didn't know which movie I rented some."
The kids began to move the movies into two piles. The no's and yes. Rossi made popcorn for them.
"Thank you." JJ whispered to Rossi and Rossi just winked at her.
JJ and Hotch were still amazed how the three of them work together as if they had grown up together. One by one the rest of the team began to arrive. Rossi asked them if they wanted popcorn. They all said yes. Rossi made them popcorn.
"How has it been?" Morgan asked.
"It has been as if they grew up together." JJ said.
"Really?" Morgan asked.
"Yeah."
The kids were having so much fun watching the movie they chose and eating popcorn. JJ looked at Rossi and mumbled a thank you. He just nodded at her. The first movie finished and they moved to the second one. The doorbell rang and Rossi went up to open the door. He had ordered pizzas.
"Dave, I don't want my children spoiled." Hotch said.
"It's only once in a while." Rossi replied.
The movie was about a few minutes from finishing and Corena was already falling asleep.
"I think is better we start leaving. Thank you Dave." JJ said.
JJ got up from her spot to pick up Corena while Christy started helping her with the twins.
"Thank you Uncle Dave." Jack said and gave him a hug.
"You're welcome Champino."
"Thank you." Christy said. You have a pretty mansion."
"Ah you've been taught." Rossi said.
"Only a little." Christy replied.
"You can call me Uncle like Jack does." Rossi said.
She smiled. "I've never had an uncle."
"You have now." Rossi said. "Christy you can count with everyone in this house. We are your family."
"Yes you can." Morgan said.
"I don't know what to say." Christy said.
"We are just simply happy you're here with us."
