Today, Morgan was fast asleep in her bedroll sleeping peacefully in her tent. She was hugging on to her pillow with her arms and smiling as always. Morgan was enjoying her dreams until something started shaking her entire body.

"Morgan wake up!" The voice said and continually rocked her back and forth.

"Unnnh." Morgan groaned and did not resist the violent shaking as she kept her eyes closed. "Five more minutes please."

"Where is my daughter and her boundless energy?" Robin joked and stopped shaking her.

"Errhh, she is sleeping." She said tiredly and rolled away from him

"Hmm, that is no good. Luckily, I know the trick to wake her up." The tactician grinned.

"What is that?" Morgan asked with her eyes still shut.

"This." Robin pulled his daughter over to him and started tickling her side.

"Ah!" Morgan instantly opened her eyes and tried to break her fathers hold. "HaHaHa, q-quit it! Morgan tried to suppress the tingling feelings, but ended up bursting into a hysterical laughter. She covered her sides with her hands which made Robin change his tactics and attack the stomach.

"What was that? I couldn't hear you over your laughing." Robin smirked and continued the torture.

" St-stop Ahaha it." Morgan's eyes began to water as she struggled to pry Robin's hands from her.

"Hmm, I wonder if your neck is ticklish too."

"N-no! HaHa hehee -puh-please!" Morgan raised her shoulders and tried to block the oncoming hands, but she was not quick enough."

"You are going to have to speak louder Morgan. I can't hear you."

Morgan gasped for air and braced herself. She gathered enough resolve to speak for just a moment and cried, "I'm awake. I'm awake! Hahehehe Ahaha..." Robin withdrew his hands and watched Morgan go limp as she tried to catch her breath.

"Good, that means we can head out then."

"Uhng, what time is it anyways?" Morgan groaned

"I believe it is five in the morning."

"Huh?! Why did you wake me up so early?"

"Because we are going fishing." Robin said eagerly and pulled a fishing lure from his pocket.

"We are doing what?!"

"Lissa said that if I get some fresh air than I might recover faster. So I figured fishing in a peaceful lake surrounded by trees is about the healthiest thing I can do."

"So why are you taking me?" Morgan rubbed the sides of her eyes and a crusty sand fell from them.

"I don't want to spend the time alone. Besides, doesn't my favorite daughter want to spend time with me?" Robin chuckled.

"I am your only daughter."

"But you are still my favorite!"

"...Do you even know how to fish?"

"Yeah, Frederick taught me years ago. I never caught anything, but at least I knew what to do. So come on let's go before we miss the fish."

"I don't have much of a choice do I?'

"Not unless you want to be tickled to death." He smirked evilly and threatened to pounce on her with his fingers again.

...

Despite her grumbling, Robin and Morgan left Lucina to sleep peacefully while they headed out for the lake. It was about a twenty minute hike from their camp and Robin made sure they would find their way back by remembering landmarks. Meanwhile Morgan was fighting to wake up. She did not know what time she went to bed last night, but it was late and she was suffering from a lack of sleep.

"Here we are!" Robin said excited and pointed to the large lake surrounded by the trees on all sides. The sun was just starting to rise and the first few ray of light bounced off of the lake and into Morgan's eyes.

"So what do we do first?" She asked as the two approached the shore of the lake.

"Well we need to put the fishing lures on the poles." Robin demonstrated with his pole so she could do the same.

"Okay, next?"

"Then you take your fishing pole and bring it behind your head."

"...Okay."

"Then you swing it forward as hard as you can and cast it into the lake."

Morgan did so and watched her line drop and make a splash about ten feet away."

"Now what?"

Robin smiled and sat down by a rock to get comfortable. "Now we wait for the fish to bite."

"For how long?"

"Hmm, two, maybe three hours tops."

"Three Hours?!" She cried."Just to catch a fish?"

"Yep. The fish are very patient and we have to be too if we want to eat lunch."

"So you woke me up at five in the morning so we could spend the few hours waiting for something to happen?"

"Well Morgan if I woke you up any later than you would be too awake to be patient. At this hour you are almost a zombie and can stay still."

"Are you saying I have no patience?"

Robin laughed. "I am saying you could not sit still in one place for more than ten minutes without bursting, and if someone was to give you any type of sugar candy then all hell breaks loose."

"Hmmph." Morgan turned away from him in defiance. "... ... But you are right. I am already bored." She whispered embarrassed.

"Ha, don't worry, I think I know a way to pass the time."

...

Chrom and Sumia's wedding was the grandest display I ever saw. Frederick and Cordelia orchestrated the main design with Sumia's approval. Apparently when I told Frederick to help someone else he devoted all of his spare time helping Cordelia. There was flowers everywhere and over a thousand people crammed into the great cathedral. Every seat was taken and many people had to stand and watch at the back of the giant church. Everything was state of the art and the cake was over two stories tall. Tapestries and the royal blue color was everywhere you looked. Even Chrom was covered in an all blue tuxedo (Because of Sumia's urging) and he was shaking nervously. It was one of the few times he was not able to control his emotions in front of his people, but I couldn't help at laugh seeing how anxious he was.

Finally to end his torture, the music started playing and the large double doors slowly opened revealing a woman smiling in an all white dress. Chrom went from anxiousness to star-struck gazing at Sumia through her veil. You could tell she wanted to run to her place as quick as possible, but she restrained herself and took long 'regal' strides like in the rehearsal. It was probably the longest walk in her life, but when she got there I saw the look the two shared at each other.

Many people don't believe in this sort of thing, but the unspoken words they said in that brief moment of silence was one of a kind, unending, indestructible, and eternal ...true love.

They said their vows of course, but nothing was needed after the look they gave each other. They had a bond that could never be broken. A bond cemented with the words 'I do' and ...and I'll leave the rest to your imagination.

*Ahem*

Two months passed after the wedding. Two months filled with laughter and joy for the royal family. Things had finally settled down in Ylisstol and everyone was going back to their daily routines. As usual, I was in the library reading a book. This was the time where I could let my muscles rest after Frederick's torturous workouts, but since I had already run out of tacticians books, I had to find other books to read.

...

"How's the book going Robin?" Sumia asked as she entered the room.

"Good. I am at the fiftieth page and I think I understand what is going on." I set down the book and looked up at Sumia who was smiling. She never could stop smiling after she got married. "Thanks for letting me borrow the book by the way."

"No problem! I have read this book twice and it's nice to be able to discuss them with others."

"Yea, especially with a mystery novel like this one. I can't seem to put it down."

Sumia's smile grew wider. "If you like mystery then I have a lot of others."

Really? Well I might have to take you up on that offer some time."

"Heehee, so who do you think killed Mr. Moon?"

"Hmm, I have narrowed it down to Captain Crimson or Simon Silver."

"Oh? How come?" Sumia asked trying not to give the murderer away.

"Well no normal person carries a machete with them, but Simon is acting very strangely. ...However, this is a mystery novel so I am waiting for the big plot twist too."

Sumia giggled watching me think it over. "Teehee, well you will find out soon enough, but I am glad you are liking it so far! I try to get Chrom involved in reading but he can't keep his attention for more than a couple of minutes.

"He doesn't know what he is missing...But I guess he gets distracted by you."

Sumia blushed but could not wipe the grin off of her face as she moved her hands to her stomach. "I won't argue with you there."

I chuckled, "The baby is three weeks old now right?"

Sumia shook her head. "No, it's three months."

"Three months? ... But that would mean?!" My eyes opened wide and I my jaw fell completely and utterly stunned.

...

"Hehe, just kidding." Sumia laughed and let her voice carry though the room. "Yes, she is three weeks old."

I exhaled and slouched over. I shook off my shock and joined her in laughter. "Good grief Sumia. You had me going there for a second."

Sumia could not stop laughing but managed to say "Sorry Robin, but the look on your face was priceless!... Besides, if you can't deduce a little lie, then how will you ever be able to solve your mystery novel?"

I rubbed his chin and thought it over. "Hmm, good point. I guess I better get back to work on reading the book if I want to improve my investigation talents."

"Great, and when you finish that I'll have another one you can borrow."

"I'll look forward to it." I smiled and gracefully bowed in front of her. "Goodbye my Queen."

Sumia changed her posture and stood straight like a wooden board. She rigidly stayed still and saluted me. "We shall rendezvous again Commander."

We both broke into laughter and Sumia made her way to the door.

"Hey Sumia!"

She turned around confused and raised and eyebrow "Yes Robin?"

"I just realized. You said your baby was a she. How do you know that?"

Sumia smiled filled with pride. "It's a mother's intuition. Just like my mom, I know that I am having a girl."

"Oh really? Does Chrom know about this?" I asked jokingly thinking she was just being optimistic, but she did have a 50/50 chance.

"He will in six months." She tried to hide a mischievous grin.

"Nice try! But you won't get me with that a second time Sumia!"

...

I spent the next three hours in the library and my body cramped up tremendously in my wooden chair. Despite being really close to the ending of the book I decided that I need to walk around or I would be stiff for the rest of the day. That was the last thing I wanted since Frederick promised to increase my training. These rigorous months of working out were dramatically increasing my strength, but I was still violently sore afterwards and the last thing I need was for them to tense up.

So I figured a walk around the castle wouldn't hurt since it was a lovely day. I strolled the grounds and thought about various things. Chrom and Sumia, my job, the novel I was reading. They were all on my mind, but something else was bothering me. I didn't know why, but I felt like I was missing something. I always had this weird feeling when I wasn't doing anything and it felt uncomfortable. I unconsciously clutched my chest and drifted into thought. I was normally so busy it never really bothered me, but it was hitting me pretty strong today when the sound of glass shattering broke my trance.

Lon'qu had his sword in his hand and used his other to grab one of the numerous glass jars on the ground. There was a large pile of shattered glass debris implying hat he had been doing this for awhile. I watched as he set a jar on the nearby fence and locked his shoulders ready to strike again.

*Ahem* … I cannot focus with you leering at me."

"Oh! Sorry Lon'qu. I just got caught up watching your ...practice?

"I must become better than the agile Basilio. I cannot do that with you washing me."

"Agile? I always thought Basilio was more of a brute force kind of guy."

"Strength is the key. Without it you will fall in battle, but a blade needs to strike with accuracy aswell."

"Makes sense, but why are you training with glass jars?"

"I must hone my senses so I can cut through glass like my rival. It is the true testament of precision and speed. I must accomplish this or else I will never be better than him."

"I see, so that is what you are doing."

"Yes and your observation is breaking my concentration."

"Oh sorry, I will leave you be, but Lon'qu?"

"What?"

"Perhaps sometime you could show me a few moves."

"...I am no teacher." He turned away from me and back to the jar.

I rubbed the back of my head feeling embarrassed. "Er right, never mind than. It was just a thought."

"You are a tactician correct?"

"Well yeah, but-"

"Than why do you wish to learn the sword?"

I stopped for a second and carefully thought it over. "...Same reason as you. To get stronger."

Lon'qu paused and seemed satisfied with my answer as he said, "Did you bring your sword with you?"

"Yes, I never go anywhere without it."

Lon'qu turned his blade on me without any warning and I barely dodged in time as his first swing nearly tore my cloak in half.

I scrambled for my weapon and barely had time to deflect another blow from Lon'qu and I almost didn't see it coming because his attack was so quick. In the next instant he moved his arm again and I struggled to see what he did. That is when I felt something metallic touch my neck and I tensed up.

"Your reflexes are very poor."

"... Yeah I need a lot of work."

"Indeed. At this rate you will lose your limbs before the night is over ... Grab two wooden swords from the barracks and meet me here in ten minutes. I will teach you."

"Huh? Now?"

"You wanted to learn the sword correct?"

"Yes but-"

"Then we will begin immediately."

"...aa-of course!"

My first lesson began with Lon'qu attacking me without mercy. Even with a wooden sword the pain was from his strong blows were nearly unbearable. His tactics were to teach by example and that was a very painful lesson. Each time he hit me he would explain what I did wrong and than hit me again in a different and more painful way.

"*huff* *huff* Augghhh!" I groaned with a blow to the stomach and my knees sank into the ground.

"You tried to attack me and exposed yourself. If you attack it needs to be one quick strike so you can defend yourself.

"I see." I struggled to talk as my body exploded in pain and my lungs failed to take in oxygen.

"Do you wish to quit?" Lon'qu said coldly.

"...Unhh. N-no. ...Have to...keep going" I gasped for breath and used my sword as leverage to get up. "...I need... to get better...so I can pro-tect my friends."

Lon'qu nodded and began his next assault. But despite the undeniable pain that would come, the only thing I could think of was how much worse training with Frederick would be tomorrow in this state. The life of a swordsman is not easy...ung.

...

"Why did it hurt so bad? It was just a wooden sword right?" Morgan asked confused.

"A wooden sword hurts more than you would think." Robin rubbed his left shoulder that was once riddled with bruises.

"Oh? It never hurts when mom hits me." Morgan replied.

"Ha, that's because she holds back on her strikes. When you grow up you will find that Lucina packs a huge punch... Heh, I know it all to too well." Robin winced at the thought.

Morgan watched Robin intently and saw him smiling, calm, and completely relaxed. Something she hadn't seen since he got sick. "Was it that luxurious for you and mom too? The wedding I mean. "

Robin laughed. "Arn't you getting ahead of yourself Morgan? We still have a lot to cover before Valm even entered the picture let alone meeting the real Lucina."

"Hmm? What do you mean real Lucina?" Morgan asked confused.

"I am saying two years is a long time Morgan." Robin smiled thinking about the past. "I can't fast forward so quickly, and we have a lot of free time waiting for these fish to bite. So how about I keep going about my two years of peace?"

Morgan smiled and nodded.
