So here's another chapter. I hope you like it.
Chapter 18
"It seems like you've seen a ghost." Rossi said from the door.
Hotch explained to Rossi that Christy wanted for them to meet him Friday night. They had been seen each other for two weeks and everyone seemed to notice while Hotch tried to deny it.
There was a knock on the door.
"Sorry to bother but there's a new case." Garcia said. "I'll get everything ready Boss Man."
"Let's get going." Hotch said.
Hotch and Rossi got up from the chair and walked towards the Roundtable Room.
"LA PD called they found two female bodies in trashcans. Abigail McAllister, 20 and Cynthia Blackwood, 20 also."
"What so peculiar about it?" Morgan asked.
"It has the same M.O. from 15 years ago."
"It may be a copycat." Rossi said.
"Wheels up in thirty!" Hotch stated and walked towards his desk.
He texted JJ and let her know he was going to LA on a case and he would be calling her at night. Hotch got everything ready for the trip. They had all boarded the plane and were taking off. Garcia came through the camera.
"Garcia, when did they go missing?" Prentiss asked.
"Abigail went missing on Friday and Cynthia went missing Saturday."
"Wait, why weren't they reported missing?" Ashley asked.
"They weren't reported missing because they were runaways."
"The autopsy report shows rape before been killed." Reid said.
Hotch asked Garcia to keep looking and assigned Reid and Ashley to go to the crime scene, Morgan and Prentiss to talk to Abigail's mother while Hotch and Rossi would go to the police station. The jet landed and they all went their separate ways. They met with Lt. Detective Owen Kim for a third time. He guided them to the room he had set for the team.
"He's not a copycat." Hotch said as he read files. "There's nothing that indicates that we caught the UnSub."
The team took the whole morning working on the profile that they had forgotten ordering for food. Ashley was in charge of ordering while Prentiss was in charge of picking it up as they continued to work in the case. Hotch called Garcia.
"Garcia, could you look for murders in the last fifteen years with the same M.O. and signature but now expand your range to other cities and states. Call me when you have something."
"Yes Sir."
It was getting late. Hotch looked at his watch. He told the team it was time to head out to their hotel and called it a night. They all headed towards the hotel. Hotch called JJ and she had noticed the tension in his voice. Hotch just by listening to her voice relaxed. The following morning the team met in the lobby to head out to the Police Department.
"Please help me. My daughter was kidnapped." Hotch went to the lady. "Please follow me."
The UnSub had just taken her from her own house. Prentiss did a cognitive interview to the lady. Garcia called Hotch.
"You're on speaker, Garcia."
"There's has been murders all over four states: California, Oregon, Washington and Nevada." Garcia said.
Garcia said that she had found two more bodies from six years before. It was one female and one male other with the same M.O. but different signature and persons were over 45 years old. Hotch was telling Garcia to narrow down the list. Reid opened a file and quickly scanned it.
"Garcia narrow it down if the UnSub is handicap."
"I've got a name. His name is Michael Smith." Garcia said.
Garcia found that the female body was his mother. His father killed his mother and he killed his father. They got to the address Garcia had given them. They heard noises inside.
"Drop the gun Michael." Hotch said aiming at him.
"What happened to your mother wasn't fair but what you have done to them isn't either."
Michael got the gun firmly in his hand. He heard the shot. It went straight to his head in between the eyes. Prentiss put her gun in her holster and ran towards the victim.
"You're going to be okay."
They went back to the Police Department. Hotch smiled seeing the mother and daughter moment. He got ready to go back home after a long case.

She was on her way home from picking up the kids from Daycare and her long day at work. Her phone began to ring.
"Hey JJ I'm on my way home." Hotch said.
"I'm almost home. Christy was going to go to the store and buy groceries since she gets early from school."
JJ had just gotten home and was getting the kids down when Christy got home. Christy got down and helped JJ with the kids. JJ asked Christy if she needed help but she insisted for her to stay with the kids. Christy brought all the groceries inside the house.
"Mommy, I'm hungry." Henry said.
JJ and Christy were debating what to do when Hotch opened the door.
"Daddy!" Rena said and ran to him.
Rena picked up her arms wanting Hotch to pick her up. Henry made a tantrum and took his stance.
"I hungry!"
"We should go out." Hotch said.
JJ and Hotch decided where to go and started to get ready to head out. They took the kids to Silvestre Café and walked around. They got home and got the kids ready for bed. They were woken up by JJ's alarm the following morning.
"Are you ready for tonight?" JJ asked.
"No not really." Hotch answered.
"Don't let her hear you."
They got ready for their day and headed towards the kitchen. Christy had already turned on the coffee pot and was eating cereals still in her pajamas. Hotch walked up to her and kissed the top of her head. He then grabbed a cup and poured some coffee.
"I got to go." Hotch said.
"Daddy, don't forget tonight at 7."
"I won't forget." Hotch said and walked towards the door.
JJ began to get the kids ready. Jack came out of his room with his backpack in his back.
"I'm going Jack." Christy said and headed towards her room.
Few seconds later Christy came out of her room and said goodbye to JJ. JJ, too hurried up to get the kids in daycare and then head out to work. JJ's day consisted redacting, sending copies and filing reports.
"Finally Friday! What are you going to do?" Carina asked.
"Actually, we are going to be meeting Christy's boyfriend." JJ said as she was turning off her computer and getting ready to go out.
When she finally got home from picking up the kids Hotch was already home.
"Are you ready?"
"No." Hotch answered.
JJ changed the kid's outfits and got ready for their visitor. Christy and Jack arrived with the food and got everything set up. JJ noticed Jack's faces. He didn't seem to like the idea of sharing Christy. The doorbell rang and Christy went to the door and opened it.
"Good evening."
"Mom and Dad he's Dieter Muller."
"Nice meeting you Mr. and Mrs. Hotchner."
"Likewise." JJ said.
"This is Jack, Henry, Corena and the twins Kedrick and Kailani."
JJ didn't know him. When he entered the FBI JJ was already at the DOD. They walked towards the table to have dinner.
"What department do you work?" Hotch asked.
"I'm in the BAU in Syd's unit."
"What's your area of expertise?"
"It's explosives and I'm their Technical Analyst."
They moved from the kitchen to the living room. Hotch continued to interrogate him. JJ could sense his nervousness.
"What about your parents?"
"My father died when I was twelve and my mother is in a sanatorium in Las Vegas. I have two younger sisters."
"How old are they?" JJ asked.
"Christel is 28 and Anika is 15."
He had it tough but all of his hard work had paid off. She wondered if his sisters would accept her daughter into a strong knitted family.
"Do your sisters know Chrissy?" Jack asked.
"Yes they do."
"Do they like her?"
"Surprisingly they do."
"She my Chrissy." Rena said as she rubbed her eye and got closer to Christy.
"And that is my cue. Thank you for tonight." He said looking at Hotch and JJ.
He got up and kissed Christy in the cheek and told her not get up. He walked up to the door and said goodnight. Christy waited till she knew Rena was completely asleep before taking her to her bed. She said goodnight to her parents and went to bed.
"That wasn't too bad." JJ said. "He seems nice. It was bound to happen Aaron."
He made a face of not liking it but he didn't had other choice.
