"Hello their little one." Robin smiled

"Daddy!" Morgan cried energetically and ran over to him as fast as her little legs could carry her with a gigantic smile on her face. "Do you know what day it is todey?!"

"Hmmmm." Robin put his hand on chin and thought it over very carefully. "...Tuesday?"

"Nooo!" She emphasized and waved her arms around in the air. "Todey is a very specal day!

"...Wednesday?"

"NO! It's a suuper important specal day!" She yelled at the top of her lungs and raised her tiny fist in the air!"

"Do you mean special, not specal?" Robin laughed and dropped to his knees so he could mess up Morgan's hair.

"That dis what I said!"

"Hmm, so if it's not Tuesday, and it's not Wednesday, then that must mean that today is ….your Birthday!" Robin smiled.

"YEAH!" Morgan beamed and ran into her dad's arm. "Mommy says it's the most important day in the world!"

Robin laughed and said, "Mommy is right."

"Mhm! And dat means I am a big girl now!" She cried in excitement.

"Haha, I suppose it does. So tell me Ms. Morgan. How does it feel to turn five years old?"

"Great! Everyone is doing whatever I say and brining me presnts!"

Well that is- *Cough *Cough* Robin quickly covered is mouth and made it seems like no big deal.

Morgan looked at him very curiously and wondered why her father did that sometimes when she saw him. "Daddy? How come you make that noise somedimes?"

"...Oh, well daddy is just a little sick is all." Robin tried to play it off.

"What is 'sick'?" Morgan asked while scrunching her eyes trying to think of what it meant .

Robin carefully thought it over and said, "You remember that time you scrapped your knee while running in barracks?"

"Yeah it hurt!" Morgan frowned and looked her dad in the eye. "Did you scrap your knee too?"

"Haha sorta, only mine takes longer to heal."

"Maybe you should have ant Lissa look at it."

Robin smiled and said, "Maybe, but first I want to give you your present."

Morgan's eyes lit up and she burst into extreme excitement.

Robin couldn't help but laugh as Morgan started hopping around and barely managed to say, "Come, let's find mommy first so we can open your present."

"OKAY!"

...

Morgan quickly opened her eyes and felt a small migraine coming along. It was rare for her to have dreams about her parents, and even rarer for her to have headaches.

"Enngg" Morgan said groggily as she looked around her empty bedroom. Even though the room was abandoned, to her it still seemed eerily quiet as she slowly got up to sit on the side of the bed and stretched her arms.

She looked out her window and noticed that the sun was shining brightly in the sky which meant it was nearing the afternoon.

"Odd... Normally mom wakes me up if I sleep in." She shook her head and then remembered what happened last night with her father. However, once again her head throbbed as she felt a sharp pain in the back of her head. "Ow, that hurts!" Morgan cried and covered her head while a bad idea crossed her mind.

"... ... Does dad feel this when he is in pain?"

Meanwhile in Lissa's clinic

"Nyhaha, so you think you were given a nice and dreadful curse?" Henry asked with the usual wide and creepy smile on his face.

"...Yeah... I was coughing up blood that looked like rust."

"Rust?" Henry's eye widened and he marveled. "Ooooo I've never seen that before! By any chance did you save some?" He said excitedly.

"... … No, my blood turned back to normal after I stopped having my attack. I've never seen anything like it."

"Awww, that is a shame." Henry said without tarnishing his giant smile. "I can only imagine how it felt to touch, oh and the deliciously rancid taste. Hehehe."

Robin shook his head and ignore his friend's antics. After a few years he learned it was better not to question his sanity. "Do you think you could cure it?"

"Probably." He beamed. "We won't know until I try."

"...Well, whenever you are ready."

Henry nodded in delight and said, "Cah co boom, cah ca raw. Death and disease be drawn to my call!"

...

Within a few moments, a strange black glow started to emit from Robin's body as Henry focused all of his energy on him.

"Oooooo it's so dark... So depressing! ... So Pretty!"

Robin was uneasy as he felt like his life force was being sucked away from him again.

"Mmm, I can taste the smell of death. It's so wonderful!"

Robin breathed heavily as more and more dark energy was pulled out of him, and in a few moments a small dark ball appeared in mid air between the two of them. The orb was very ominous and it was like gazing into an abyss

The ball continued to grow bigger while Robin felt progressively weaker with each passing moment. However, an instant later the orb pulsed a beam across the room and the entire area became engulfed in a dark red light.

"Uh, Henry? Is this supposed to be happening?" Robin called out in fear as the black substance was now the size of his head.

"Nyhaha, nope." Henry replied while the ground started shaking underneath them. Every object in the red lit room was now moving back and forth and a pair of medical tongs fell off the counter.

But without warning, the black ball imploded within itself and a large force of gravity pulled the cabinets and medical supplies in the room hurling towards it. Robin and Henry found it difficult to maintain their own balance as the orb acted like a magnet in a metal room.

*BOOM*

An ear shattering noise pierced the air followed by a violent fiery explosion that blew Robin and Henry off of their feet. They both crashed into the walls behind them along with every other object in the room.

The heat from the explosion singed Robin's skin and caused first degree burns while an incoming scalpel cut him square in his arm. As for Henry, he dented the wall in six different places and broke two bones in his right arm. His nose was bleeding and his right pant's leg was on fire, but all he could say was,

"...That... was ... AWESOME!"

A/N *Important!*

I apologize for this chapter being short and for the long delay on posting. Long story short, I have been busy with real life. The good kind of busy though. Hanging with friends, trying new things, planning to blow up Jupiter and etc.

But to be honest with you, chapters in the future will also be delayed longer than my normal routine. I really do appreciate everyone in this community and hate to make people wait, but I do not have as much free time as I use to.

However! This story is Not on hiatus or canceled. Rest assured that everyday I still think about the story and login to this site on a daily basis. As always, I answer anyone's questions as quick as I can and I have an open door policy. (It doesn't even have to be related to video games.)

So until next time:

Have a wonderful day!
