A/N: I had this chapter on my computer but I accidentally clicked some buttons, meaning that I erased everything. basically had to remember everything from prior knowledge and I apologize if it's not as good. Thanks for everyone that reviewed! R&R!
"Tell me why we're heading to Olympus again?"
Thalia was driving behind the steering wheel, looking comfortable and happy, while Luke was a wreck, possibly freaking out.
"Luke will tell you, won't he?" She said, directing her gaze at Luke. Figuring that it wasn't safe to look anywhere but where we were driving to, I diverted Thalia's attention to me. "Thalia, cut Luke some slack, I don't exactly want to die yet."
She sighed and figured that I would find out about the "truth" at Olympus anyway. Feeling a bit nervous at the turn of events, I decided that it would be safer not to ask. Looking back at Luke I silently wondered if he had anything to do with it. "Two monsters a day" I voiced in my head, "Thalia and Luke certainly know something about it." Could Luke have...? No. He couldn't have had anything to do with it. But then again, a tiny part in the back of brain, believed that he may very well be a part in it. Scolding myself and feeling guilty at the thought of thinking that, I closed my eyes, needing to take a break.
"You okay?" I heard Thalia ask.
Keeping my eyes closed, I silently nodded, telling her I was okay. No matter what challenges came ahead, I knew that I would always have a sister by my side.
( Moments Later )
"Promise me that no matter what, we'll always be sisters."
I stared up ahead, feeling dazed. I blinked twice, seeing another me. I must be in a dream I realized. My dream self was hugging Thalia. She had bows and arrows strapped to her back, and was wearing a glamorous white winter jacket.
"Take care Annabeth" she said as she was getting ready to leave, "Don't worry about Luke, you won't lose with us on your side."
I laughed, managing a small smile. "I'll always have a sister by my side that won't let me down."
She smiled as she pulled me out of earshot. "Keep an eye on seaweed brain, I have a feeling that one will be a keeper" she said, giving me- well my dream self- a wink. Blushing I waved her off.
The scenery changed and I was left standing by the side, watching a number of demigods.
"The Battle Of Manhattan has begun."
"Wait here" he told me.
"Percy, you shouldn't go alone."
"Well unless you can breathe underwater..."
I heard myself sigh. "You are so annoying sometimes."
"Like when I'm right? Trust me, I'll be fine. I've got the curse of Achilles now. I'm all invincible and stuff."
Not convincing me, I replied. "Just be careful, I don't want anything to happen to you. I mean, because we need you for the battle."
He sent me a grin, "Back in a flash."
I woke up, rubbing my temples. Silently groaning, and looking at the backseat, I saw Percy, sleeping quite peacefully. "That lucky seaweed brain" I thought. I was left racking my brain, trying to cease the pain.
"What's wrong?" Thalia asked, sensing my pain. Her face turned from worried to scared. "She sent you a glimpse, didn't she?" It was funny how she seemed to know everything while I had no idea what I was even dealing with. "We're almost there, there shouldn't be anything to worry about." She seemed to be talking more to herself than me.
"Just remember that when you find out the truth, stay calm and don't freak out."
"That tells me absolutely nothing Thalia!" I retorted, getting quite frustrated at the secret talk and stuff. "I saw the Battle Of Manhattan but that doesn't make sense because I don't remember anything about it."
Her face paled and the wheels of the car scratched across the road.
"Thalia!"
"I'm nervous okay!"
Percy and Luke stirred, beginning to awake.
"What... What's going on?"
The car bumped, scratching the car.
"How did you get your license?!"
"Not the time Percy!"
We were screaming at each other, not getting along at the moment.
Thalia quickly steered the wheels, dodging the cars by a few centimeters.
The wheels of the car screeched across the pavement of the road as we breathed in a sigh of relief as the car managed to stop.
"We'll were here. Just above the Empire State Building is the home of the gods, Olympus."
