Klaus + Hayley (+ Jackson): Just The Ring (Part 2)

A ceremony of such importance did take a couple of months of preparations. During this time, Hayley couldn't shake him off. He seemed to be following her everywhere she went and that broad smile on his face when she confronted him about it. He used to give her space, but that was before she accepted his marriage proposal. Klaus was overprotective, she knew that very well. She knew that he had a hard time letting someone do as he or she pleased without his say in the matter but he made an exception for her. As he got used to the idea that she will be his wife, Klaus seemed to tighten the grip on Hayley, as if he was afraid of letting her go. And at night, when Hayley got into bed, it had her thinking that maybe he received no comfort knowing that she may still prefer marrying Jackson over him.

Once they returned to the compound together, both Rebekah and Elijah could notice the glowing look on their brother's face when he passed them. He looked victorious, as if he had achieved the greatest goal in his life. Somehow, this made Hayley nervous and she continued biting her lip around him. She often wondered if she had made the right choice. What did her people think of her now? She chose to marry their greatest enemy over their alpha. Hayley shook her head one night when she got a text message from Jackson. She hasn't heard from him for months and the night before the wedding, he said that he wanted to meet her.

Knowing that she would only have a couple of minutes before anyone would notice she was missing; Hayley sped to the bayou, in that exact location, by the lake where she had last seen Jackson. This place calmed him and she knew that she would find him here. "Hey. I got your text." She whispered and came over to him, resting a hand on his shoulder. "Is the hybrid not with you? He practically made you his property." Jackson whispered, upset as he covered her hand with his own. Hayley had no idea how to answer to that so she simply pulled her hand away. "What do you want? I am kind of busy." "I want to know why you decided to marry him and not me. What does he have that I do?"

"Jackson, this isn't about you. You have to understand that. I made this decision based on what I think is right for me." "This is about that secret you don't want to tell me, right? You're afraid that I will say something to the wrong person. You can't trust me with it." "No, it doesn't have anything to do with you or the secret. It's just that…" "You have feelings for him?" "Excuse me?" "I asked you a question, Hayley." Hayley's mouth parted for a moment at his daring tone but the question itself surprised her more. "What is this?" she asked him in a whisper. "I think that you let me go because you know that you can't develop feelings for me, as you can for Klaus." "I am not developing feelings for Klaus." Hayley insisted, but the way she hissed it…it was as if she was trying to push herself to think that and Jackson knew it all too well. "He has taken over your mind…and you think it will be better knowing that you marry someone with whom you feel you can actually fall in love with."

"No, that is not what I am doing." "Then, what is it?" Jackson asked her in a yell as he stepped closer to her. There were sounds behind bushes that could be heard and Hayley looked around, panicked. "Listen, I think it would be best for all of us if I head home." She told him and as she started walking away, Jackson grabbed a hold of her and kept her still. She knew she could overpower him, but she did nothing to stop him from keeping her there, seeing the pain in his eyes. At once, she saw him coming from behind the bushes, the yellowness in his eyes and the dangerous smirk on his face, said it all. Hayley immediately released herself from Jackson and placed herself in front of Klaus. "Get out of the way, love." Klaus hissed and Hayley shook her head. "No. You will not hurt him. Please. I had already agreed to marry you, so just let him go." The hunger in Klaus' eyes disappeared, and so did his smirk.

He looked over at her and whispered, "You came here yourself?" Hayley put on a straight face and whispered, "Yes, I did." "Why?" "Jackson wanted to talk to me." "It looks to me like he was trying to do more than talk." Klaus growled and started walking towards him, making Jackson stumble and fall onto the ground. "Klaus, let it go! He meant no harm. He was just looking for answers." "As am I, little wolf. Why did you choose to marry me?" Klaus asked her with a smile on his face. The smile was genuine but Hayley could practically feel the tease that was waiting for her.

They reached the compound and Hayley angrily went inside their room and slammed the door shut, but Klaus was already inside. "Quite sentimental, aren't you, little wolf?" he asked her. "You have some nerve following me to the bayou and then questioning me of my motives." "I was simply offering to give Jackson the answer he was looking for. The poor lad was turned down by a gorgeous hybrid Queen, in a very unexpected way. Anyone would wish to have an answer." He stepped closer to her and Hayley couldn't stop the redness in her cheeks when she heard him call her "gorgeous". But that was just how he wanted it. He wanted to tease her till she couldn't handle it any longer.

Not falling for his charms, she undressed and put on a soft and silky nightgown, before getting in the bed. A couple of weeks ago, Klaus had asked her that since they were now going to be married, they had to get used to sleeping in the same bed. She had reluctantly agreed to it, but he had not stayed in bed with her to sleep once. He would always say that he was off on business, and leave her wanting. She didn't want to confront him about it, not wanting to give him the wrong idea, but…she always felt the pull towards him, as if he was something she wanted and needed like air.

As she stared at him pull off his shirt, she could feel her stomach tightening as images from their first night together in Mystic Falls, played in her mind. She smiled a little and then Jackson's words from this night rung in her head. "No, it doesn't have anything to do with you or the secret. "He has taken over your mind…and you think it will be better knowing that you marry someone with whom you feel you can actually fall in love with." Hayley's eyes were closing tightly as she thought of this possibility.

"Little wolf?" she heard a murmur and looked up to see that he was getting in the bed next to her. A small smile appeared on her face when she finally saw him with her in bed after weeks, since they decided to start sleeping in the same bed. "Yes?" she asked him in a whisper. "As I understand it…we have another ritual to perform after the wedding occurs." "Besides the truth telling part?" she asked him and Klaus chuckled, nodding. "Since we already know the truth about one another, and about our daughter, that can no longer be a problem for us…unless there is something intimate you would like to discuss with me before tomorrow." Hayley continued looking at him intensely and felt her groin tighten again like she would soon burst like a bubble. "I don't think…" she begun but Klaus smiled and shook his head. "It is fine, love." After a moment of silence, he turned his head towards her and whispered, "The time will come tomorrow after the wedding in which we have to bless our marriage…consummate it to be exact." Hayley shifted her legs in between her covers and sweat appeared on her forehead.

Klaus noticed this and smiled again as he held her hand. "Whenever you will be ready, love. We don't have to do it right away, but in order for this marriage to be valid, we must…" Klaus was interrupted with a sudden kiss from her, which took him aback more than he thought it would. She pushed her hand through the curls in the back of his head as she continued molding her lips against his. She wanted to try this, to see how it felt to be in his arms again. She shivered the moment she felt his hands run on her back and finally under her nighty, pulling away from their kiss for a moment, and pulling it over her head. He smiled as he saw her face full of desire and wanting.

Laying her down on their bed, he saw as her hands slid down his pants and running her hands over his bird tattoos and kissing his chest gently, before offering him the most seductive smile he had ever seen. "Perhaps, we can move faster with this consummation." Klaus suggested with a grin as she saw her blush and bite her lip for a moment before whispering back, "Or maybe we can practice for tomorrow…it will be easier." "I couldn't agree more with you, little wolf." Klaus mumbled before pressing his lips against hers and letting his tongue roam through her mouth, sending her back, laying on the bed, as he took care of her bra and her panties, as she arched her back for him.

He had no idea he wanted this so much. He didn't know that Hayley herself wanted this as much as he did. After he had pulled all the garments away from her, he finally gazed upon her gorgeous naked body, laying before him, waiting for him to claim it. She could feel her palm resting on his cheek and he looked up into her eyes as she moved her other hand to take down his boxers and throw them off the bed. Kissing him on the cheek, he melted under her touch and watched her wiggle underneath him in desperation and he leaned over, kissing her neck softly with a smile, as he heard her gasp.

The moaning became louder by the second as he moved his mouth over her breasts and on the sensitive spots which were her nipples, making her arch her back even more as she moaned out his name. Teasing her for quite a while, he moved his hands to her hips and massaged them slowly as she opened her legs for him to enter. Covering her lips with his, he did as she asked and rocked against her for minutes, as she felt her hands cover themselves around his back and she continued kissing him with a passion he knew he could never experience with any other woman. This was the Hayley he knew.

He could feel himself as doing much more at that moment than he normally would with a woman. He hasn't gone as far as making love with Hayley, but he knew that he would in a matter of time. The feelings he was growing for her, needed to be kept hidden inside of him, protected from any sort of danger that might follow. Klaus knew what would happen, if anyone found out about his new and permanent love. She would be in danger due to his feelings, both her and their daughter. But no matter the danger, he couldn't pull back from this now. Her eyes were showing more than lust the moment they were finished and this was scaring him. His Queen…Klaus chuckled as he pulled back from her and stared into her eyes. They could communicate and she knew what he was thinking at once. Pressing a slight kiss on his chest, she whispered, "We're in this together." Resting back on the bed and pulling him against her, Klaus smiled and kissed her forehead, and then her lips before whispering, "Yes, we are."

A/N: Many asked for the continuation of Just The Ring. I hope this covered it nicely.
