Sodom: Im back! Im so sorry that I haven't updated in forever. I am ashamed of myself, but I had a revere case of writer's block that just wouldn't do away. Not to mention getting SUPER involved with my RP. Once again, im so sorry and I hope that you all are able to forgive me!
Santos: AWWW! *hugs me* You are forgiven!
Sodom: YAY! *hugs him back* But wait, why are you still wearing that maid's costume?
Santos: *twirls around* Because Sammy likes it!
Sodom: *facepalm* Just don't get pregnant...-_-

Chapter 9
"Yugi! Yugi, wake up!" a female voice called from across the room. Yugi just covered his head with his pillow and buried himself deeper in the blankets.
"Fine then. You asked for it!" the voice said and all was silent before a heavy weight careened into the figure in the bed.
"Ooof!" Yugi grunted as the force landed squarely on his back. He pushed the weight off him and sat up to glare at the person who had landed on him. Green eyes clashed with dark lavender.
"What the hell, Lu?" Yugi groaned sleepily and wiped the sleep from his eyes.
"Well, you weren't getting up when I asked you nicely, so this is what you get." LuLu crossed her arms and pouted. Yugi rolled his eyes and stretched, trying to wake himself up fully.
"Anyways, we have to get Hiruka up too, so I figured that you wouldn't want to miss out on that." LuLu giggled and Yugi jumped up out of bed hurriedly.
"Seriously?! You could have just told me that and I would have gotten up! Not even Ra could stop me from seeing this!" Yugi laughed and ran out of his room to the one down the hall. LuLu laughed before following him with the same enthusiasm. They stopped outside the room before cracking the door open to peek inside.
"Yepp, still sleeping." Yugi whispered to LuLu as she took her turn to peek. The room was completely dark because the window was covered with many sheets and only the light coming from the open door let them see the outline of the person sleeping in a very messy bed.
"Right, so are we going in like always?" Yugi asked mischievously.
"But of course, my dear Yugi." LuLu replied and smirked. They tiptoed inside the room and made their way silently to the blocked window. LuLu took hold of the window covers and Yugi took hold of Hiruka's blankets.
"On three, ok?" LuLu whispered and Yugi nodded.
"Ready? One, two…three!" simultaneously, LuLu yanked down the window covers to let in the sunlight and Yugi ripped the blankets off of Hiruka. There was a second of silence before chaos erupted. Laughing, Yugi and LuLu ducked out of the way as Hiruka started running around the room half asleep in a desperate attempt to get away from the light.
"The sun burns!" she shouted and managed to crawl under her bed and away from Ra's morning rays. Yugi and LuLu were holding their stomachs and laughing at the display that just occurred.
"I hate you guys." Hiruka grumbled and pale lilac eyes glared up at them from under the bed. After Yugi had calmed down enough to speak, he smiled and tried to hold back another fit of giggles.
"Sorry, Hiruka, but you know how funny it is when you get up in the morning." Yugi apologized while LuLu laughed with no signs of stopping.
"It is not! Sunlight hurts!" Hiruka whined. Yugi rolled his eyes and went to cover up the window again, but with only one sheet this time so that they could see.
"Come on, Hiruka. It's not that bad and I covered up the direct sunlight." Yugi tried to coax the girl out from under the bed. After a while, a green and black spiky head popped out from under the bed. Hiruka scrunched her nose at the light that was filtering through the sheet, but got out anyways.
"Well, that was a rude awakening." She plopped herself on the bed and threw her pillow at the still laughing LuLu in an attempt to get her to shut up.
"Well, at least you didn't get cannonballed by LuLu." Yugi retorted. Hiruka chuckled.
"Yeah. Karma's a bitch." She nodded and Yugi pouted from the lack of sympathy, but that only made Hiruka laugh.
"Ok, well, fun's over!" Hiruka jumped up. "I'm starving and the chores don't do themselves. Not to mention that we have to practice for tonight. Big party and stuff, 'ya know." Yugi nodded before running out the door to begin making breakfast. It had been a year since he had been kidnapped and had since begun to like it there. He had made friends with the other performers, except Anzu, and had shared lot of good memories with them. But despite all the good times, he still missed his old friends and grandpa very much. He had tried to run away many times over the year and had always been caught and punished afterwards.
"Morning Yugi!" the twins were waiting in the kitchen and greeted their small friend once he entered the kitchen. Yugi rolled his eyes, but smiled.
"Morning, guys. Couldn't make your own food?" he asked teasingly.
"No." they both answered innocently in unison. Yugi walked over and smacked them both in the head.
"You two are perfectly capable of making your own food!" Yugi scolded them and both rubbed their foreheads where Yugi had hit them.
"But your food tastes better, Yugi!" Peter whined and hugged Yugi, partly out of friendly love and the other to not get hit again.
"Yeah. You know we can cook as well as you!" Nathan caught on with his brother's ploy and hugged Yugi too.
"You two just don't want to cook, you lazy asses." Yugi mumbled as he tried to get away from the smothering.
"No! We mean it! We love your cooking!" they cried and hugged Yugi tighter. Yugi groaned as he felt his willpower breaking.
"Fine, fine! I'll make breakfast!" Yugi finally consented after a few seconds of being crushed to death. The twins let go and cheered.
"But on the condition that you guys help with the chores and don't do a vanishing act on us." Yugi added and the twins pouted.
"But we don't wanna!" they whined.
"Fine, but you get no breakfast from me." Yugi turned around non-chalantly and began to prepare the food. The smells wafted through the air and made the twin's stomachs growl loudly.
"Fine!" they consented and sat down at the table just as Yugi handed them their plates of food.
"I knew you would see it my way!" Yugi chuckled innocently and the twins dug into their food enthusiastically.
"Mmmm…..something smells good!" LuLu came into the kitchen and sniffed the air. Hiruka walked in behind her.
"Still not a morning person, I see?" Nathan looked up and chuckled as he saw Hirakata flip him off.
"See you're chained to chores again." She retorted nastily and smirked evilly as the twins grimaced and ate their food mournfully.
"Too early for fighting, guys. Save it for this afternoon." Yugi reminded them and handed LuLu and Hiruka their plates.
"But-!" Peter began, but Yugi cut him off with a glare.
"I don't care who started it, I'm finishing it. Now, all of you, sit down and eat your food!" Yugi commanded and they all sat down and ate obediently.
"Got them wrapped around your little finger, don't you?" A new voice came from the doorway. Yugi looked up to see mismatching eyes looking at him with sparkling mirth.
"Oh. morning, Ren. Heard the commotion, did you?" Yugi laughed and turned to scoop food into a plate for his friend.
"Yeah." Ren laughed. "Kind of hard not to." Yugi nodded in agreement.
"REN! YUGIWAS BEING MEAN TO US!" LuLu came flying from the table and hugged Ren tightly. Ren rolled his eyes, but played along and fake gasped.
"Yugi! I thought you were a nice person!" Ren raised his hand to his mouth and looked at the smaller boy in fake shock. Yugi turned around and smirked evilly at him.
"I am so a nice person." Countered and stuck his tongue out playfully.
"Nuh uh!" the twins joined in. "You made us all be quiet and sounded scary!" They clung to each other in mock fear. Yugi laughed.
"Fine. You say I'm not nice, I guess I'll have to stop making breakfast for everyone from now on." Yugi shrugged his shoulders and turned back to the plate he had in his hands.
"Hey! Yugi!" They all complained.
"And, Ren, since you think I'm evil too, I guess I'm just going to have to eat your food too." Yugi tossed the comment over his shoulder to his friend innocently.
"Yugi! Come on! That not fair!" Ren complained and detached LuLu from his side.
"No, no. The food I made might be poisoned so I guess I'll just have to eat it myself." Yugi sat at the table and picked up a fork, poising it above the food before stabbing some slowly and raising it to his lips very slowly.
"Yugi, don't you dare!" Ren warned and the rest just watched, transfixed by the intense spectacle. Yugi moved the food closer to his lips.
"I'm warning you! Last chance to back down." Ren warned again and tensed. Yugi winked mischievously at him before taking a bit and chewing contentedly.
"Oh, that's it!" Ren declared and moved to pounce on him. Yugi deftly moved away with him still holding the plate and the fork still in his mouth.
"Yay! I love the smell of a fight in the morning!" LuLu cheered.
"Laundry if Yugi wins." Peter whispered to his twin.
"Deal." Nathan agreed and they all watched.
"Zzzzz" Hiruka snored. She had fallen asleep at the table. Yugi took the fork out of his mouth and started eating again as Ren kept launching himself at the smaller boy.
"What's wrong, Ren? Can't catch me?" Yugi teased as he swallowed his food. Ren smirked and stopped as Yugi's back brushed up against something. He turned around and saw a wall of water behind him. He pouted and turned back to face Ren.
"Now hand back the plate, Yugi." Ren smirked and held his hand out.
"Fine." Yugi held out the plate and Ren took it, making the water wall disappear. Yugi walked out of the kitchen and went to start his chores. Ren frowned as he looked at the plate.
"He ate all your food, didn't he?" Peter chuckled. Ren pouted ad nodded, feeling cheated.
"Yes!" Peter hissed and Nathan groaned.
"Well, chore time!" LuLu announced and got up, smacking Hiruka awake at the same time.
"Waking up the bitch queen goes to you guys this morning." she told the twins. They shared an evil smile before running out.
"I'll go and help after I eat." Ren smiled.
"Right! He left some in the pot for you, I think." LuLu laughed and walked out, dragging a barely conscious Hiruka after her. Ren chuckled as he served himself. Just as he sat down, a loud screech was heard throughout the vicinity. The twins ran past, high-fiving each other, with a very angry, very wet Anzu. Ren sighed and began eating.

Later, Yugi and his friends were lying on the grass outside, their chores for the day, completed.
"Sooooo tired!" Yugi moaned and stretched in the grass.
"But we still have practice!" LuLu whined and rolled on the grass as if in agony.
"Can we just skip practice today?" The twins asked in union. Ren shook his head.
"You know that big shindig up at the palace is coming up, so we have to practice." Ren reasoned with them, but they only pouted. Everyone got up with much protest and began practicing on their acts. Yugi hung back and watched as his friends practiced their many tricks.
"Hey, Yugi! Practice why don't you!" Hiruka yelled from her spot on the grass on the opposite side of the courtyard.
"I don't have my stuff here, so I can't practice and I can't do it on the wall. Those lashings from last time still hurt." Yugi pouted and rubbed his back. The scars from his last punishment had already faded, but still throbbed occasionally.
"Fine! But don't blame me if your act comes out crappy this time!" she teased and went back to her own practice. Yugi laughed and started stretching. He may as well start some minor acrobatics now that he was outside. The others would get on his case if he didn't do something with his practice time. Yugi stretched his limbs before starting off with a few tumbles then springing up to do summersaults in the air.
"Pounce!" The twins shouted before attempting to jump on their small friend, only to land flat on their faces as Yugi jumped aside.
"That wasn't fair, Yugi." The twins whined and Yugi rolled his eyes.
"That's what you get for trying to mess up my practice." Yugi scolded and turned back to practice, only to be tackled to the ground.
"Never turn your back on the enemy!" Peter yelled.
"Now, do you surrender?!" Nathan yelled and laughed. Yugi wiggled around to get free.
"Never!" Yugi shouted and laughed as Peter gave him a noogie.
"Dog pile!" LuLu yelled and jumped on top of the twins.
"Geronimo!" Hiruka joined in a second later. They all laughed and wrestled for supremacy on the pile. Ren was sitting a little way away and was smiling at the amusing sight.
'Just another day in paradise.' He thought to himself and lay back in the grass to listen to the laughter that drifted through the air.
