I don't have anything ready to post on Christmas for you all… so I'm gonna make something!

Yes, the goal I have suddenly thrust upon myself is to make a Christmas themed one-shot.

How long do I have to write this one shot?

Well… it's Christmas eve and it's 11:27PM (at night)... and I got a couple hours before I really should get to sleep… so…

not long…

Don't expect this to be a content-filled one-shot. XD

Enjoy, and Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays everyone!

(Just assume everyone is wearing a santa hat throughout this)

AJ and Neko woke up to another weekend morning.

Although the boy was reminded what day it was by the colored lights hung all around his room.

"Ah… right… Christmas is tomorrow." AJ said tiredly.

"Soooo what do you think the chances are that someone from Team RWBY plans on getting me something?" Neko asked as he stretched.

He barely took a moment to think on his answer. "Slim to none. You are literally a part of me."

"I'm my own person, thank you very much!" Neko countered proudly.

There was a knock at the door before the door was slowly opened and Blake walked in with a smile. "Good morning sweetie!" She walked up to his bed and hugged him.

He was still tired but he managed to hug her back. "Good morning." He responded with a tired smile.

"And good morning to you too, Neko." Blake said with a chuckle and scratched behind the cat's ears, making him purr a little.

"Did it snow last night?" AJ asked.

"Actually, it's still snowing I believe." Blake answered before opening his curtain, revealing the dark clouds and gentle snow that was still falling. "It snowed on and off last night, so there should be plenty of snow on the ground."

"And everywhere else." AJ added, seeing the snow piled up on the rooftops and in the trees. He got up from his bed with the intent to head outside as soon as possible.

Now, Yang liked to give the couple some time to themselves, she shipped them after all.

"Did someone say shi-"

But she could only stand to leave them alone for so long, she had her own desires to satisfy after all. First she would totally leave them alone, then she would eavesdrop on them, and if they don't come out by then, she usually barges in, hoping to catch them doing something.

She got to the eavesdrop stage before hearing something she didn't expect.

"AAAAH!"

"HOLY SHIT!"

Hearing them both screaming made her forget what she was doing and skip right to barging in to see what was happening.

""SPIDER!""

She saw both of them standing and holding each other fearfully as they stared at a spider on the floor in front of them. It wasn't a small spider, but still, it was just a spider.

"Oh get it away! Get it away!" Blake cried out desperately.

"Please go away, please go away…" AJ hoped fearfully. Blake was more or less behind him but they were both holding each other and cowering before the spider.

"Seriously?" Yang asked, surprised to see them acting this way over a spider.

The two Faunus both perked up simultaneously upon hearing her voice. ""Yang! Help us!""

AJ looked closely at the spider to see if he could tell what kind it might be. "*Gasp* Ohmygodlookithasacutelittlesantahat!" *Spider moves closer by an inch* "AH! YANG PLEASE GET RID OF IT!" He cried out fearfully.

Yang sighed with a roll of her eyes before walking up and stomping on the spider. "There."

Both Blake and AJ shivered at the thought of what the spider felt like, and more specifically the crunch sound it just made.

"Thank you." Blake thanked.

"Yeah, thank you." AJ thanked as well.

"Wow, you are the most useless couple ever." Yang commented with a smirk.

"Hey! That's not very nice…" AJ whined overdramatically.

"You aren't both supposed to be afraid of spiders. Only one of you is supposed to be afraid while the other gets rid of it. Instead you both are going to be incapable of doing anything, and frankly I can imagine you guys both living together far in the future and calling us to come save you." Yang finished before bursting out laughing at the thought. "The greatest Huntsman/Huntress couple ever: Ready to fight anything, unless it's a spider!" That only made her laugh more.

Eventually she calmed down. "Hey, where's Neko? Couldn't he have helped you with your spider problem?" Yang asked with a chuckle.

"He was probably in my head, hiding from the spider as well." AJ guessed.

Neko appeared on AJ's shoulder.

"I will not confirm or deny that." Neko said defensively when everyone looked at him.

"Can we just get outside where there's snow and not spiders?" AJ requested eagerly.

"Yes I would very much like that as well." Blake added.

AJ got his winter clothes ready before the three of them vacated his room.

"Oh! Can I eat that?" Neko asked suddenly.

AJ looked at the cat on his shoulder and saw he was looking up, so he looked up at the mistletoe hanging from the ceiling. "That's poisonous."

"But can I eat it?" Neko asked quickly.

"No."

Neko:*Sad face*

"Why do you suddenly want to eat- Wait a minute." AJ cut himself off as he looked up again at the mistletoe that was above his head. He then looked and saw Yang grinning at him. "Goddamn it, Yang!" He yelled as he jumped away from her and out from under the mistletoe.

Blake sighed in annoyance. "Just avoid mistletoe unless I'm under it, alright?"

"I was just thinking that." AJ said, nodding an affirmative.

Blake then hit Yang in the back of the head. "Ow!" Satisfied with the delivered punishment, she turned and started walking down the halls with the intent to head outside, since that's what the rest of her team was going to do.

AJ tried to run past Yang to follow his girlfriend, but Yang stopped him. "I might as well make this clear, big guy… Before Christmas Day ends, I will get you under a mistletoe." Yang said with a predatory grin that made AJ pause and blush before pushing past her.

After jogging through the halls for a short time, the boy from Earth soon reached the door leading outside. He could already hear the girls laughing through the door, so he opened it, ready to join in on the snowball fight that was surely going on. Though as he stepped out with his usual clothes on, but also with a black winter jacket and a santa hat on, the laughing stopped and he couldn't see anyone.

He walked down the short path and turned the corner to the rectangular area below their dorms. Three sides had walls of the dorm buildings, and the one side he was entering from led to the paths throughout the school. There was the tree in the center of the area, and there were mounds of snow everywhere. It was the perfect battleground, yet no one was there, at least that he could see.

"Attaaaaack!" Ruby shouted, suddenly appearing from behind the closest snow mound on his right.

He ducked before the snowball she threw hit him in the face. "Hah! Nice try!" He scooped up a snowball before returning fire. She dodged before running back to take cover behind her snow fort and prepare another snowball.

"I said… ATTAAAAAAACK!" Ruby shouted with more enthusiasm.

Weiss shot up from the snow mound on the left with three small glyphs behind her, each loaded with one snowball.

'Oh, it's that look on her face again! She's having fun again! Ruby must have already worked her magic.' AJ thought before Weiss began her attack. He jumped over the first snowball, then cartwheeled to the right to dodge the other two. He then created a glyph to his left, just in time to block Ruby's snowball.

"Hey! That's cheating!" Ruby whined.

"Weiss just used her glyphs though!" He pointed out. He then began throwing snowballs to pin down Ruby while Weiss was loading up her glyphs with snowballs again.

Ruby growled in annoyance. "Go! Sniper!" She ordered while throwing another snowball that went way off course since she was pinned down and couldn't properly aim.

AJ looked up just in time to see a snowball coming at his face at high speeds. He ducked under the sniper's snowball and looked into the tree to see Blake in between the branches, her ribbon being used as a slingshot. "Why do you girls have to team up against me like this?" He asked. He sensed someone behind him and created a glyph between him and the new opponent.

"Because- Oof!" Yang was cut off when she tried to tackle him but instead ran into the glyph. While she was reeling he spun around and palm-struck her in the gut while he had a snowball in his hand.

"Yang!" Ruby cried out. "That's it! All out atta-" She was cut off when she was hit from the side with a snowball. "Weiss!?"

"Forget all-out attack! Let's go back to our free-for-all!" Weiss shouted with masked excitement. She then ducked under an attack from Blake. Blake smirked at her before loading another shot and firing it, hitting Weiss in the shoulder. Weiss then responded by barraging the tree with snowballs, courtesy of her glyphs.

Yang, seeing AJ was distracted by the sudden change of pace, used her opportunity to sweep him off his feet. Ruby used this chance to try and hit AJ from her cover while he was down, but he rolled away from the attack and grappled with Yang.

That was when he realized that there was a mistletoe on the top of her santa hat. "Hey that's cheating!" He complained before cutting off the mistletoe with his claws and throwing it far away from the fight. He turned back to her only to get a snowball to the face.

"I will not give up!" Yang yelled with enthusiasm before she was hit in the back. She turned around, only to see Ruby grinning at her. "Sis!?"

"Sorry Yang, it's a free-for-all!" Ruby pointed out before throwing another snowball at Yang, who raised her arms to block the attack.

AJ suddenly stood up and swiped Yang's legs out from under her before running at Ruby. He ducked under an attack from her and scooped up snow in his hands while he ran. He jumped up and threw the two snowballs down at her. She braced for a hit, but both attacks missed her. She heard him land behind her and she spun around to fight him. She was instead knocked back by a well-placed shot from Blake, giving AJ time to scoop up another snowball and get a clean hit on her with it.

He turned and looked at the tree, only to see Weiss and Blake in the tree together in a melee engagement. Each of them had a snowball in one hand and was trying to get a hit on the other with it. Weiss thought she saw an opening and swung, but Blake avoided the hit and kicked her out of her tree, literally.

Weiss quickly got up after she landed, the snow having lessened her fall. She threw the snowball up at Blake, and the Faunus responded with her own, but both their attacks hit each other mid-air and cancelled each other out. She noticed motion and looked to her left just in time to be hit in the shoulder by AJ's snowball. He went to scoop up another so she quickly scooped up snow and threw it at him, blinding him for a moment. She then charged through the snow cloak with a snowball in hand, but he quickly jumped to his right to get out of the way.

She turned and threw the snowball at him, and he ducked and dodged it before throwing his own. She moved the wrong way and took the attack in the leg before responding with her own. He leaned to dodge her second attack, but was hit from above by Blake. Blake smirked down at them before noticing that the sisters were going at it in the background, with Ruby currently firing a barrage of projectiles at Yang.

Yang dodged one, then another, then another, then another, the- "Did, did you just throw Zwei at me!?" Yang asked, shocked, before Ruby threw another snowball at her.

Blake decided to ignore them for now and descended on Weiss and AJ.

The five of them fought each other for quite awhile longer until they were all sweating and exhausted.

"That had to have been the greatest snowball free-for-all ever, of all time." Ruby said tiredly, everyone else agreed.

Having had their fun, they were all ready to head back to their dorms, get out of their winter clothes, and rest. Yang seemed in a real rush to get there first though, and AJ couldn't help but feel that she was going to mess with his room, so he quickly tried to catch up with her and get there before her. He turned the corner to the hall that would lead to their dorms. There he saw Yang was standing in front of his door, under a mistletoe, and giving him a seductive look.

"Well?~" Yang asked. "I'm waiting.~"

He just gave her a deadpan stare for a few seconds before bursting into the Team RWBY dorm. "Ha Ha!" She shouted victoriously and ran into her team's dorm. "You fell right into my…" She just managed to catch him jumping out their window and taking an immediate left, no doubt planning to go into his room through the window. She looked up at the mistletoe in her team's dorm in disappointment. She hadn't considered the window. 'Dang it! Just when I thought I had trapped him!' "I will not give up!"

AJ entered his room through the window and landed on his bed before sighing. He removed his jacket and simply threw it on the floor for the moment. He was only able to relax for a second before there was knock at the door.

"Babe? Can I rest here with you?"

"Of course." AJ answered before getting up to open the door. He opened it and then immediately shut it on the hand that snuck through. "Yang, Blake doesn't call me 'babe'." He said, annoyed, as he pushed his weight against the door to keep her from getting in. "Good impression of her though!"

"Come on AJ!~ Just let me in so I can give you an early Christmas present that you'll love!~" Yang requested while pushing against the door.

"No thanks. Blake is that only one that's allowed to do that." AJ said simply. "Now get your hand out of the way so I can shut the door."

"You can't honestly tell me you don't want this!" Yang said.

"Regardless, she's the only one that can do that, so back up before I hurt you." The Faunus requested.

"Oh come on AJ! You know I only enjoy it when you play rough!" Yang pointed out before suddenly feeling AJ stop pushing against the door as he ran away. She saw him jump out his window and she ran down the hall to intercept him at her team's dorm. She ran in just as he can flying in and planted his feet into her chest and sent her flying through the door. Her impact against the wall was so strong that it shook the mistletoe above them loose, making it fall to the ground between them.

AJ walked up and looked down at her. "What is with you and all these freaking mistletoe!?" He asked exasperatedly.

Yang chuckled. "They aren't mine, actually. None of them are, except the one on my hat."

"What!?" AJ asked, shocked. "Then who the hell-" There was suddenly a glint of realization in his eye before he turned and looked down the hall to his left. "Ozpin?" He heard frantic scurrying away around the corner and let out a sigh of annoyance.

Yang took this opportunity to jump him and pin him down. She looked her finally-captured prey in the eyes. "Finally!" The way she licked her lips caused him to whimper in fear.

"Yang… get off of my boyfriend before my claws come out again…" Blake growled out.

This time Yang was the one to let out a whimper of fear as she jumped off of him.

"I knew we shouldn't have walked." Weiss commented as she turned the corner. "Look how much damage those two managed to cause!"

Ruby came around the corner then and looked at the damage. "Um… I'm sure the drywall can be easily fixed… right?" She asked fearfully.

"I will not give up!" Yang shouted enthusiastically.

"I think you should." Blake said threateningly as she helped AJ up, and picked up the mistletoe that was on the ground so quickly and skillfully that no one saw it. "Now if you don't mind, I'm tired." She said before grabbing her boyfriend by the arm and practically dragging him into his dorm and shutting the door.

Upon walking in she threw her winter jacket next to his before they both climbed into bed. She tried to just rest for a few minutes, but her urges soon got the better of her as she played with the mistletoe in her hand. She suddenly got up and got on top of him before holding the mistletoe in front of him with a mischievous glint in her eyes. His surprised look made her chuckle.

Later that day, the teams got together for a big pre-Christmas dinner. After stuffing their faces they all went to their dorms and at least attempted to sleep. Some found their excitement made it hard to sleep, but sooner or later, all of them would succumb to slumber.

Team RWBY, however, would find themselves rudely awaked in the middle of the night. All five of them found themselves in the middle of an empty warehouse.

"What? Where are we?" Yang asked, concerned.

"How did we get here?" Blake asked as she slowly stood up.

They all took in their surroundings when they were suddenly blinded by a bright red light. When the light went away and their vision returned, they found they were surrounded by present boxes of all shapes, sizes, and colors.

"What…the…hell?" AJ exclaimed.

"Ah! Hey!" Ruby exclaimed as a piece of paper suddenly flew into her face, which made no sense as there was no wind inside. "What's this? 'Sorry to ask this of you so suddenly, but I'm afraid I can't make it to Vale this year. I have to request that you five perform my duty for me. It's not that many presents, as you can see.' What!? What does he mean there aren't that many!? 'I have faith that the five of you can complete this within an hour. Good luck!' *Gasp* Guys! This is from Santa Claus! It looks weird though, they spelled it Mr. Cloz…"

"This sounds like a ridiculous prank." Weiss commented. "They can't even spell right."

"Weiss! If we don't do this than no one in Vale is going to get Christmas presents!" Ruby pointed out with worry.

AJ had taken to looking at the presents. "Each one has an address on it… I see no reason why we can't do this. Though we only have an hour, so we need to get moving now."

"Are we sure this isn't just a prank?" Weiss asked them.

"Light show! Presents appearing! Us being dropped here!" AJ listed off. "We don't have time to figure out if this is a prank or not, let's go!" He yelled before taking a couple presents and running out of the warehouse.

"Yeah! Let's do it!" Yang said excitedly before grabbing a few presents of her own.

Soon all of Team RWBY was out and running along the rooftops of Vale. Ruby used her semblance to quickly move throughout the city, dropping small presents down the chimneys. Blake used her semblance to quickly get in and out of people's houses, ensuring that the presents were set up nicely before moving on to the next one. Yang snuck into one house with one of the larger presents and placed it under the Christmas tree. She turned around and saw AJ walk in with a present not much smaller than hers. She grinned at him, seeing as she had another mistletoe attached to her hat.

"Here, you can do this one too." AJ said simply, throwing the present to her before running out the door.

"Ah! Hey!" Yang whined before setting the present in its proper place and going after him.

He continued to run along rooftops, throwing presents into chimneys with perfect precision or propelling them with glyphs. He caught sight of Weiss in the distance as she fired a massive volley of small presents with her glyphs, all of them hitting their mark and falling down the chimneys.

"Nice!" The Earthling complemented before moving on. He soon came across the red reaper standing motionless on a nearby rooftop. He stopped next to her. "What is it?"

"Look at all those lights!" Ruby squealed, pointing at the building across the street which was practically glowing with all the lights on it. There was also a large amount of lights on the front lawn in the shape of many classic Christmas images.

AJ looked down at the one present box left in his hand. "Oh! Hey!" He exclaimed before throwing the present across the street and into their chimney. "That was where my last one needed to go! I'm gonna go get more." He said before using his Aura bow to teleport back to the warehouse. 'Nice! We're almost done!' He mentally noted.

Meanwhile, Ozpin sat at his desk, looking out the window of his massive tower.

"Thanks for taking care of that for me." Ozpin said with a grin.

"Did you really have them do your job for you!?" Glynda asked angrily. "Ozpin you are so lazy!"

"It's not just that I'm lazy, Glynda." Ozpin defended without looking towards her. "I'll take every opportunity I can for the chance of more shipping."

"Ugh. Of course shipping is involved." Glynda groaned. "You know he isn't just going to let her catch him under a mistletoe, right?"

"Maybe he will, maybe he won't. Maybe she'll catch him, maybe she won't. As long as there's a chance, I'll try." Ozpin responded.

"Whatever you say, Mr. Cl-Oz." Glynda said with a roll of her eyes.

With their job complete, and satisfied that they had helped so many people, Team RWBY returned to their rooms and finally slept.

They were only able to get a couple more hours of sleep though before Ruby ran around waking up everyone from her team and Jaune's team.

A few days earlier there had been a collaboration between teachers and students to put Christmas trees up in each classroom. Each classroom was reserved for just a few teams and one teacher. Teams RWBY and JNPR reserved Doctor Oobleck's classroom.

"Come on guys come on!" Ruby shouted excitedly as her team and Jaune's team walked down the halls towards Oobleck's class. "Hurry up! Hurry up!"

"Geez, who gave her sugar?" AJ asked with a chuckle.

"She's just excited." Yang answered. "I think." She added hopefully.

The two teams eventually reached Oobleck's class, and all burst out laughing as they saw the Doctor was wearing antlers and had a red ball taped to his nose.

*Drinks coffee* "Ah! Welcome everyone! A Merry Christmas to you all!"

"Merry Christmas!" Everyone cheered as the more energetic ones, Nora and Ruby, rushed over to open their presents, meaning Ren and Yang had to run over to stop them before they opened their presents too soon. Everyone else needed to sit down around the tree first.

Within minutes, there was wrapping paper everywhere, AJ was chasing Ruby, who had stolen his portion of the candy that Jaune had given everyone, Oobleck and Neko, who were now both dressed as Rudolph, were having their pictures taken by everyone, and all the girls and guys, except Ren, were wearing santa outfits.

"I hate you all." Neko growled out as more cameras flashed and people laughed.

"Get back here!" AJ yelled as he and Ruby zigzagged around the classroom.

"Nora! Stop swinging that around! You're going to hit someone!" Ren yelled.

"That's the idea!" Nora laughed as she swung around a candy cane as big as her hammer.

Yang was still standing under the mistletoe in the corner, waiting for AJ to run by while chasing Ruby.

"D-Did you like your present, Jaune?" Pyrrha asked hesitantly.

"I loved it, Pyrrha! Thank you!" Jaune answered before hugging her, causing her to freeze up and blush.

Weiss was admiring the new necklace that Ruby had gotten her. 'How did that dolt afford this?' She wondered.

"Ruby!" Yang called out and motioned for her sister to run by her, which she did. "Gotcha!" Yang shouted as she caught AJ by his red and white cloak. She pinned him against the wall before he had a chance to do anything about it and pressed her lips against his before releasing him.

He stared at her for a few moments, confused. "That's it?"

"Yep!" Yang answered with an innocent smile before looking over her shoulder. "Looks like Blake's coming over to punish me. I'll just leave you two alone." She said before walking away.

Blake walked over and grabbed him by the arm before pulling him away. "Get out from under the mistletoe you dork."

"Um… sorry?"

"Forget about it, I'll punish her later." Blake said quickly. "So, how do I look in this outfit?" She asked.

He took a few seconds to admire. "You look beautiful." He answered lovingly before hugging her. "And you're so cute and fluffy!" He squeed suddenly, hugging her tighter and scratching behind her ears, making her laugh and purr.

Sometime later. "Alright everyone! I think it's time we ended this with a group picture! Would you all please gather in front of the tree for me!?" Oobleck requested before setting his Scroll on a stand. Once everyone got in position he started the timer and dashed behind them.

Being nearly the tallest, AJ stood in the back, Blake stood right in front of him, Jaune and Pyrrha were to his right, and to their right was Ren, holding the large candy cane far above his head so Nora, to his right, couldn't reach it, Neko was standing on a tower of presents to AJ's left, smiling proudly at his ability to balance them all, Weiss was to the left of Neko, looking slightly concerned with the tower that looked about to collapse, Ruby was standing at the very front, holding a large plush Beowolf.

Yang snuck up behind AJ to his left. "Hey, AJ?"

"What?" He asked, not daring to turn his head.

"Everyone, for the last time this year, say 'Merry Christmas'!" Oobleck requested.

"Merry Christmas!" They all shouted.

The camera flashed and took its picture. Nora had successfully grabbed the candy cane and was having a tug of war battle over it with Ren, Neko was mid-fall as his tower collapsed, and Yang was holding mistletoe above their heads with her patented Yang grin.

The camera snapped another picture though, this one happened right when Nora wrenched the candy cane out of Ren's hands, causing it to hit Jaune right in the crotch, Neko also hit the ground face first at that point, and Yang kissed AJ on the cheek while Blake was glaring at her.

Everyone looked at the pictures after they were taken.

"Can we try that again?" Ren asked.

"Yeah… things sort of fell apart this time." Pyrrha added hesitantly.

"No a perfect picture wouldn't really fit our teams. These ones fit our teams far better, unfortunately." AJ deadpanned.

"Hey! Our teams have character! There's nothing wrong with that!" Ruby commented.

"Jaune and Neko are in pain, Blake's about to kill Yang, and Nora just knocked the tree over. I think there's something wrong with that!" AJ pointed out.

"How am I going to deal with this for another three years?" Weiss asked herself.

"Oh come on!" Ruby said as she grabbed AJ and Weiss and hugged them. "You guys love us, we all know that!"

" 'Put up with it' is more accurate." Weiss countered.

"Come on, Weiss. Admit it, we both know she's right." AJ said to her. "Our teammates have their moments, but we still love them anyway."

"Exactly!" Ruby exclaimed.

So ends the first Christmas with teams RWBY and JNPR!

Well, I would say that turned out well! A lot better and longer than I expected it to be, actually! Hope you all enjoyed it!

I hope that whatever you do/did today, that you all had a great day!

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

AJ slept soundly that night, till he was rudely awakened by someone pinning him down.

"Huh? What?" He exclaimed tiredly.

"Remember when you asked if that was it, and I said 'yep'?" The person pinning him down asked.

"Um… yeah?" He answered hesitantly as he realized who it was.

Yang leaned forward and stared down at him. "I lied."

*Gulp*
