Mwah!

...

Only two weeks had passed since the odd incident at the morgue. Regina had briefly been speaking with Emma about it, but it seemed that it was little to worry about. Emma had been in contact with Mr. Gold, but even he said that is was of no importance. Even though Regina was not comfortable with taking the Dark One's word for it, she trusted Emma, who was satisfied with the results of the research she'd done with regards to the case.

Regina was resuming her job as Mayor, which she enjoyed, seeing that it was the job she'd done in all her time in Storybrooke. Although being content with her current situation; the pregnancy, her relationship with Robin and her biological family, she still kept some distance to Rhea and Samuel. That being said, she did come over to visit them every once in a while, but chose to be 'normal' about it, meaning not going overboard. Today she had agreed meeting Rhea for lunch at Granny's, and she had to admit, she wasn't really up for it, now anyway. As the clock struck 12.15, she pulled on a coat and headed for the short walk from the Mayor's Office to Granny's. When she arrived, Rhea was already seated at the first booth, she rose as Regina entered; "Hello honey, how are you feeling today?" she asked as she took Regina's hands in her own. Slightly uncomfortable, Regina answered; "I'm quite well, thank you. And you?"

They sat down as Rhea answered, "I'm fine, we're all fine." She paused, "It's completely fine if you feel uncomfortable answering this but, how's the baby?"

Regina sighed and looked into Rhea's eyes; they were shining with excitement. After all, Regina was carrying her grandchild, "We're fine mom." Regina put emphasis on fine, however, she held her breath as she realized that she had called Rhea 'mom', she'd only done that once. But it ought to reassure Rhea even more though. "I am so glad to hear that sweetheart." Rhea smiled softly. As the hour went on, they had lunch, Regina a kale salad and Rhea had chosen a Cesar salad, usually Regina's favorite. Time passed quickly, to Regina's surprise. Yes, she had been leaning on Rhea a little bit in the first weeks of her pregnancy, even before she had told Robin, but she somehow felt that she was betraying Cora by doing so.

As their current conversation about life in Storybrooke ran out, Rhea informed Regina that it was time for her to pick up Rosie from school, who would be done at approximately two. She rose, and bent down and kissed Regina's forehead, "See you again soon dear."

Regina nodded, and followed Rhea with her eyes until she was out of sight.

Without warning, an incredible wave of nausea hit her, and she knew that she was about to throw up her lunch. She rose, and walked calmly towards the restrooms, with a straight posture, as she always did. As she reached the bathroom, she immediately threw up into the toilet. It didn't exactly help that the smell of vomit made her feel worse. Thus, she threw up once again. When she finished, she washed her hand thoroughly, and her face too. As she opened the door, Emma was standing right outside.

"Are you ok Regina?" she asked carefully.

Regina sighed, "Yes, Emma, I'm fine." She answered as her posture was as straight as ever, while straightening her dress.

"I must say, you're quite graceful about this." Emma commented as they walked back into the diner. "But are you sure you're ok? I mean, no offence, but it sounded kinda horrible from where I was standing..." She asked again.

"Alright, in truth: I feel like shit, ok!" Regina exclaimed in a whisper. "And I do not appreciate you eavesdropping either, Miss Swan! It's none of your business!" Regina sounded angry.

Emma threw her hands up in defeat, "Woah, mood swings!" she paused, "No, but seriously Regina, I'm only concerned about you, I only mean well."

Regina sighed, "I know. I'm sorry dear."

"It's ok." Emma chuckled, "You know a couple of weeks ago when I told you I was gonna introduce you to Mulder and Scully?"

"Yes?" Regina answered.

"I was thinking, how about if we have a movie night at my place, was a couple of episodes? Maybe your brother or sisters wanna come too?" Emma proposed.

Actually, it sounded quite nice, just having an evening doing nothing, goof around with her sisters is always fun anyway, "That sounds nice. Why don't you call everybody, and I'll meet you there at 7 pm?" Regina suggested.

Emma nodded and walked back to her yellow bug; "Want me to pick you up?" she asked as she opened the door.

Regina shook her head, "I'll be content driving by myself. And besides, I do not want to be in that death trap of yours."

Emma poked her head out of the car; "What did you say?"

"Nothing." Regina replied with a chuckle.

...

As it was time for Regina to leave for Emma's apartment, she headed towards her Mercedes and drove away. It would be nice to see her siblings again if they were all coming. Seeing it was a short drive, she was there within 10 minutes. She knocked on the door, and Benjamin opened, "Benjamin?" Regina asked.

"Hello dearest sister. " he addressed her formally, and hugged her.

"Hey!" Emma said from the kitchen where she was preparing some popcorn and drinks. "Make yourself comfortable." Emma said without looking up.

Regina walked to the living room, and Grace and Hope were already positioned comfortably in the big cough, they looked up, "Hey Regina!" they both said and scooted over to make some room for their sister, Regina ended up sitting in the middle of them both. Just for annoying her, they both put their arms around her and smushed her in a tight hug, "That uncharacteristic of you Grace." Regina commented with a smirk. Grace raised an eyebrow in response, and smirked back. Benjamin and Emma entered the living room as well, Emma putting everything on the table. She looked at the couch, "It should be able to fit us all, we just have to huddle up i guess." They all laughed in response, except for Regina, "Excuse me, pregnant lady." she said as she motioned towards her stomach.

"Yeah, but not like 8 months pregnant." Benjamin said with a laugh, joined by the others. Regina hit him playfully in the shoulder, "Hey, you're supposed to support me here!"

Benjamin laughed, "Ok, here's the plan: we all sit in the couch and you lay on our laps."

Regina gave him a death glare: "Ha-ha. Very funny."

"Ok, before this gets serious, why don't you Regina sit wherever you like, and we adapt to that, sound good?" Emma said.

This ended up with Regina sitting in the corner of the couch, the others sitting tightly next to each other, with Regina's legs over their laps, "This is comfortable." Regina smirked.

"This is only because you're pregnant." Emma murmured, as she started the DVD and the familiar theme of the X-Files filled the room.
