A/N: I checked my McAfee app and then hit the backspace key, forgetting to click on the text. So I deleted the full version of the chapter and had to start over. Now I'm gonna press save every second. *SAVE!*

Son of Whitebeard: Thanks, I try ;)

PowerRangers1998: Aww, thanks :) BTW, does your username mean you were born in '98 if you don't mind me asking?

SpiritArise: Lol, I guess you've lost it then! Haha ;)

brankel1: Thanks as always.

PowerBolt: I'm glad you're so into this.

TheTombedSpirit: Sorry about the long wait, and interesting. I never actually thought about this coma thing and I initially thought he only stole one zord. I'll have to rewatch. Thanks. XD

Apollo Holmes: Thanks, just what I needed! :)

Kim didn't have time to think about her feelings due to Michael calling her to get in the jeep.

"I'll talk to you later," she told Tommy, in a nonchalant tone.

"Okay. See you later," Tommy replied, deciding he'd continue their conversation at Reefside.

"You alright?" Mike asked Kim as she climbed into the passenger seat. She was visibly shaken by something but he didn't know what.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Kim answered, avoiding his gaze but also avoiding Tommy's, who was in Jason's car across the road.

"Hey Michael, you go on ahead and the rest of us will follow," Jason told Mike, looking past Tommy and Kim.

"Sure," Mike agreed. "Hey, Kim..."

"What's up with her?" Conner questioned from the back of the jeep. Ethan shrugged.

"Kim?" the black ranger repeated.

"Oh... yeah?" Kim piped up, realising she was being called.

"Call Hayley for me and ask her how Kira's doing. Also, try to find out why Kira called us. Tell her we'll be there as soon as we can," he ordered, starting the engine.

"Could've asked me," Conner mumbled as he put his seatbelt on. "Oh yeah, you confiscated my phone!"

"This isn't the time!" Michael scolded his son.

"Okay, I got it," Kim answered, getting her mobile out and calling Kira.

Hayley was tending to some of Kira's wounds when said teenager's phone rang. Up until then, she'd been in a daze. Nothing was making sense to her. The White Ranger threatened to kill her and he definitely had his chance. But he ran off? After saying her name as well. She was sure he had. But how could he know her name? Even though she was demorphed, she wasn't exactly famous (yet). How did he know her name? And why couldn't he go through with it.

The purple ranger finally answered her phone after being prodded by Hayley to do so about a million times.

"Hello?" she half said, half questioned; she hadn't bothered to check the caller ID before answering.

"Hi Kira, it's Kimberly," Kim responded, picking up on the confusion in the girl's voice. "What's wrong? You don't sound like yourself..."

Kira put the phone on speaker mode so that Hayley could hear. "It's the White Ranger!" she exclaimed.

"White Ranger?" Kim repeated in shock. She sensed all three pairs of eyes dart to her, almost immediately.

"Yes. Earlier today, Hayley detected a Dino Gem nearby and then the signal just vanished. A few minutes later, the White Ranger himself shows up and defeats one of Mesogog's creatures, which was my job. And then he attacked me twice, running away the second time. I think he'll return for more!" Kira blurted out in one breath.

"Breathe, Kira. Breathe. We're on our way," Kim soothed her. "How badly hurt are you?"

"Who told you I was hurt?"

"Well, you wouldn't have called otherwise; you are quite stubborn and headstrong!" Kim teased.

"Erm thanks," Kira replied, laughing it off. "It's only a few scratches." Hayley gave her a look.

"It's definitely more than just a few!" the red head told Kim. Kira sighed. Knowing her, there was no way Kim was going to let this go.

"Right, Hayley, I want you to make sure Kira doesn't go out to fight again," Kim commanded, as Kira knew she would.

"Sure," Hayley agreed.

"But what if he comes back?!" Kira argued. "I'm the only ranger here!"

"He won't," Kim stated confidently. Kira was taken aback. "You said he ran away the second time. That must mean he's had enough for today." Kira bit her lip. She considered telling Kim the real reason he didn't attack her but decided against it. She'd just wait for them to come back.

"Fine, I'll try to stay away. But no promises, Kimmy."

Kim chuckled. "Alright, Kirry. See you soon, bye!"

"Bye."

"An evil white ranger? Oh man! I missed out big time!" Conner complained.

"Yeah, and Kira had to take him on all by herself. Twice," Ethan said, not envious at all. "She was already ill to begin with."

"She's bruised up quite badly, from what Hayley said, but it's not anything that won't go away after a few days of rest," Kim commented.

"Was it meant to happen like this?" Ethan asked.

"An evil white ranger? No," Michael answered, before looking at Kim. "But of course, it's been known to happen."

Kim nodded, remembering Tommy's days as the evil Green Ranger. And once again, she found herself reminiscing.

"What do we do now?" Conner implored.

"We figure out who he is. Before it's too late."

A/N: Disappointing and short, I know. But this chapter was to tie up loose ends regarding the attack rather than being a fully-fledged chapter. You'll get one of those next. Oh yeah, but it is Ramadan and this is my first week off after college so be patient! Thanks 3
